A/N: This chapter is the longest to date. Hopefully it will read with ease

A few weeks after Ron started school and before Eric arrived, school has been relatively normal as Ron has settled into a routine. As Ron sits outside the school pausing before he enters he notices something and thinks Well that does not bode well. Ron thinks as he eyes the same 2 guys who have been following Bonnie into school and out of school for the past 3 days. They do not look like government agents, but he could not be sure. Ron told his mother about this yesterday, She would be able to determine if they were working for the government. From his research although Bonnie is the queen of the school she has not had that remarkable of a life. She has lived in one state her whole life, a very good ballet dancer, one of the best cheerleaders, and tries to rule the school with an iron fist. He also found nothing of interest about her sisters. They were like her in high school except not into dancing and were crueler to those they did not like. He wonders if his mom was able to dig up anything on the parents as to why Bonnie is being followed. Ron gets out his secure line and calls his mom.

"Hi mom. Any news?"

"It looks like Bonnie's dad was involved in helping organize some financial transactions for some bad people."

"Does everyone have dinner plans?"

"Only Bonnie."

"So it sounds like I need to find a ride home."

"That would be best."

Ron runs into the school and heads straight for Bonnie's locker. At least she doesn't hate me, and no one is around her since Tara is already off to class and everyone else fears her..

Bonnie sees him stop in front of her and snaps, "What do you want?"

"I could really use a favor. I need a ride after school today. It should not be too far out of your way home and I would pay to fill your gas tank and give you enough money to buy something nice for yourself." He knew he would have to offer something to get her to agree.

Bonnie puts a finger to her chin, "Add a home cooked meal and you have a deal."

Ron quickly replies, "Done. I can't tell you how much you saved me."

"Well then… maybe I should be getting more."

"Anything you want within reason Bonnie, and it is yours. As long as you take me where I need to go. I promise to make it happen as if your life depended on it."

"Fine, meet me out front 10 minutes after cheer practice ends."

"Thank you so much" Ron tries to sound as graceful as possible as he heads off to class.

Bonnie watches him scurry off and thinks that was a weird exchange.

A little before 10 minutes after practice is supposed to end

Ron changed outfits so he can easily switch into mission mode when needed. His backpack is prepared with all the gear he may need. Ron puts in his earpiece and says, "Hi mom."

In his ear, "Time to get this started."

"Here goes nothing."

Ron heads out the door and sees Bonnie impatiently waiting for him.

Bonnie hisses at him, "I have been waiting."

"Didn't practice end 10 minutes ago."

"Kim let us out 5 minutes early. So you are 5 minutes late. You think you would be on time considering I am doing you a huge favor."

"I am so sorry, I didn't realize. I should have been outside just in case." Ron is trying to be as placating and nice as possible since he knows his demeanor is about to change shortly.

"Just give me an address so I can put it in the GPS."

"I will just give you directions."

"Why do you not trust technology?"

"It is kind of a place that you might not want in your GPS history in case a friend hops in your car. Not a creepy place, more of an uncool place that socialites are not supposed to frequent. Don't worry I will have you drop me a few blocks away and I will walk the rest."

"Fine. but no wrong turns or you will owe me a necklace to go with the dress you are going to buy me."

"Deal."

After 10 minutes of Ron asking Bonnie about her day, practice, and of course ballet since she has a set of tiny ballet slippers hanging off her rearview mirror. Bonnie asks, "So this is starting to get further away from my house than you lead me to believe." At that same moment he heard in his ear, "It is time."

"Bonnie, I have a confession to make."

"I knew it. You have a crush on me."

"That would be easier than what I am about to tell you."

A worried look comes across Bonnie's face.

"Your dad had some business deals with some people who are about to be in a lot of trouble and they are trying to make sure he does not cooperate with the authorities."

"Fine, just make things up." she shrugs off

"Their plan is to kidnap who they think is his favorite child."

"So Lonnie or Connie should be worried."

"Actually they are going after you."

"What!" Bonnie screamed.

"Take your next right. So there have been some people following you for the past few days and I am guessing they are going to try and make a move today."

"And how do you know this?"

"So here is where things are going to get weird."

'Weirder than now." Bonnie snapped

"So I was kinda raised by someone who taught me how to deal with these situations. You will be talking with mom soon."

"So are you the male version of Kim Possible."

"God no. She is a hero that deals with the press and presents a glowing image. I work in the background and very few people know what I do. You are going to be about the tenth person, and the first one without an extremely high level of clearance or have a long relationship with my mother to know this about me."

"You are not making any sense."

"An example would be easier. I am going to turn off your cell phone and disable your GPS first. I promise I will fix the GPS later."

"You better"

After Ron disables the GPS and shuts down Bonnie's phone he tells her, "2 cars behind you and 4 car lengths back, do you see that car"

"Yes."

"Now they don't have a signal to track you. So you need to run the next red light. After you run the light, watch what they do."

Bonnie runs the light and sees the driver of the car make an aggressive move around vehicles on either side of him to also run the light.

"What was that?" Bonnie asked

"They are following you and the only way they could keep track of you is by doing something bold and moronic. Unfortunately, there wasn't a police officer at that intersection otherwise this next part would be much easier."

"What is the next part?"

Ron borderline confesses "We are going to have to act like irrational teenagers."

"That doesn't seem hard."

Ron is still avoiding the full truth, "You say that now, but it is going to require you to do a few things you might not want to do."

Bonnie starts to get annoyed, "Just tell me what we need to do."

Ron started to tell Bonnie what was next, "Okay. Take the next left. We are going to end up near a park that is close to an industrial park in a few minutes. When we get near the park we are going to pull over. After you park the car, unbuckle your seatbelt, pause and then look at me like you need me."

"Huh?"

Ron continued, "Like you want to kiss me. I know it's not ideal, but tough. I will then brush your hair behind your ears and I will slip a communication device into your ear. After I do that, say the words, 'Hello mom.' Don't freak out when you hear her voice. You will be the first person to talk with my mom at the school. After the next part, she is going to give you instructions as to where to go."

"You keep saying the next part and hesitating. What is so bad?"

Ron takes a deep breath and tells her, "So we are going to have to kiss and then I am going to have to make it look like I am making an overly sexual pass at you so you will then throw me out of the car."
"You are going to do what?" Bonnie questioned

Ron reiterated, "I am going to kiss you and then make it look like I am trying to do more. I promise I won't, but you are going to have to make it look like you are struggling with it and very upset."

"I am not sure I can do this."

"Bonnie. You are smart, beautiful, and able to handle anything. I really need you to trust me."

Bonnie blushes slightly as Ron tells her this and responds, "Okay."

Ron added, "Last thing. When you kick me out of the car, throw this bag at me and then throw your phone as far out the window as possible yelling 'Don't think about calling me' When we get to a safe place I will provide you with a new phone with the same number, contacts, everything."

Bonnie processes everything that she has just been told and asks, "Is there anything else?"

Ron adds, "It would be great when you get to the location my mom tells you that you act depressed, drop your head like you are going to cry, and don't watch what is about to happen to the men following you. I would prefer if you didn't see me in that light"

Bonnie, trying to psych herself up, says "I can do this."

"I know you can." They make eye contact and Bonnie feels reassured about her safety.

"Bonnie, pull over right before those rows of trees."

Bonnie parks the car, unbuckles, and longingly looks at Ron. Ron reaches over and gently brushes her hair back which sends a nice chill through Bonnie. The ear piece is in and she says, "Hi mom."

"Hello Bonnie. My son has briefed you on the plan. I will guide you through it. He also has an earpiece in so will also be able to communicate with us"

As she was saying this the teenagers were once again making eye contact and starting to close the gap between the two of them. They start to kiss and to Bonnie's surprise she doesn't hate it. She actually thinks He is a good kisser. Maybe I should let Tara date him. Meanwhile Ron leaned in so he could open his eyes and see how far the men behind them parked. He thinks at least they are far enough away. That this should not be too difficult.

Then the voice in their heads goes, "It's time to start upping the ante."

Ron knows what this means and starts to move his hands from the safe place around Bonnie's waist to towards her breast. Bonnie giggles. The voice goes, "Bonnie we need you to not enjoy this."

Bonnie responds, "Then don't tickle me."

Ron starts to apply a firmer touch and moves around more erratically. The voice then goes, "Bonnie shove him off you."

Bonnie pushes Ron off and yells, "How dare you try to do that."

"Nice touch," the voice says.

Ron starts to plead, but Bonnie was having none of it and throws him and his bag out the car.

She then yells, "And don't think about calling me because I won't have my phone on me." as she chucks her phone out the window. She then proceeds to drive off with a stunned looking Ron at the side of the road.

The voice chimes in, "Well done Bonnie. Now at the end of the road take a right. It will lead towards an industrial park. You will then take your second right and find a parking lot on your right, go in and park under a street lamp. The brighter the place you park the more they may hesitate and that will give Ron the opening he needs."

"Okay." was all Bonnie could say

Meanwhile, A stunned Ron looks as not one but two cars drive away. His stunned look quickly disappears as a smile comes across his face. He quickly changes his outfit and eye color. With the stuff in his bag, he takes off towards the industrial park.

Ron arrives at the meet point and sees Bonnie's car in the distance. She had to travel almost a mile while his path was direct through the park and around the side of a building. Ron finds a nice place that will allow him to be in the shadows for the whole approach. Bonnie does as she is told and parks under a bright street lamp. The voice chimes in, "Good work Bonnie. Now start to look a little devastated and when you hear a car door shut or when Ron tells you lower your head and try to hit the horn with it. Ron, are you in position?" "Yes."

Bonnie hears a loud slam of the door and with that she drops her head until a loud honk is heard. After that she hears some grunts, and what sounds like people being flung into a car. She looks up to see a masked man with green eyes coming towards the car. Bonnie starts to panic until she sees the mask come off and the face of Ron. For the first time tonight, she starts to calm down. Then in her ear she hears, "Complete. Where's the drop zone?" Coming from Ron

The voice answered, "Middleton Mall parking lot. Blue sedan furthest away from the west entrance"

Ron approaches the driver's side door and asks Bonnie, "Do you mind if I drive us there?"

Bonnie asks, "Do you even have a license?"

"I have been driving for 4 years. Trust me I will get you there safely and unharmed. Then I have some promises that I owe you." Bonnie with a surprised look responds, "That's right you owe me." With that they drove off.

After they have been driving in silence for a few minutes, Ron looks over and tells Bonnie, "You can remove the earpiece now. The signal is down and won't be used again, so now it is just an ear plug."

Bonnie takes it out and asks, "So what's going to happen next?"

Ron starts to laugh.

"What?" Bonnie snaps back with.

"It is starting to feel like that's the only question you know."

Bonnie glares at Ron.

Ron continues, "We are going to take a long route to the mall so that my mom can have an agent stop by your house and pick up a few things for you for the next few days."

"What kinds of things?"

"Underwear, bras, hair products, toiletries, the essentials."

"What about clothes?" Bonnie asked

"After we get to the safehouse, I am going to head out and buy you a few things."
"You are not picking out clothes for me!" Bonnie emphatically stated
"Unfortunately I am. Until we are sure you are safe. You cannot be seen in public wearing anything Bonnie Rockwaller would wear."

"What do you mean?" Bonnie asked

Ron answered, "If these people are still looking for you, then we need to make it hard for them to find you which means clothes you wouldn't wear, colored contacts, and maybe even changing your hair color."

"That seems excessive."

Ron truthfully answers, "I would rather go too far protecting you than take a chance you might get hurt."

Bonnie lets what she has been told sink in and then asks, "What is the drop zone for?"

Ron answered, "We are switching cars before you get to the safehouse, and your car will be returned to your parents house so that it looks like you are sick at home as the reason you are not in school."

"What about you?"

"My mom will come up with something to tell Barkin."

Ron starts digging through his backpack and pulls out a hoodie and tosses it onto Bonnie's lab. "Could you put that on over your head before we get to the mall. In case there are cameras, we do not want you to be seen on them getting into a different car. Sorry if it is too big, it was all I could grab on short notice"

"Okay" Bonnie meekly said, feeling completely out of her element. She seemed to have no control of this situation. At least at school she had some control, some authority, right now she was at the whim of Ron

They made it to the mall and parked near the car so they could make a quick change.

Ron grabbed a metal magnetic box out of his backpack and put Bonnie's keys in it and stuck it in the tire well. They walked over to the car and he grabbed a similar box out of the tire well and opened the car. He checked the key chain and it read 'υψ' (Upsilon Psi). He knew where he was headed.

After a few minutes in silence Bonnie asked, "How do you know where we are going?"

"The key chain had two Greek letters which reference the safehouse. We are going to an Upperton Penthouse. It is a pretty nice safehouse. You will have a room with a view and a bathroom with a rain head shower."

"That sounds nice."

Ron looks at her and asks, "Is it okay if we ride quietly there and once we get there I will explain everything that has happened today, how I knew it was going to happen, and what the next steps are?"

"Only if you promise to answer every question" Bonnie stated

"I will add it to the list of things I owe you." Ron answered
