Disclaimer: I do not own Kim Possible or any of the characters

A few months before Ron started school. Betty was checking in on an injured agent at the hospital and ran into an old friend, Dr. Ann Possible. "Ann Possible! It has been awhile, how are you doing?"

"I am doing well. Do you have time for a coffee to catch up?" The two ladies sat down for some hospital cafeteria coffee. They talked about what they have been up to since college when they were roommates. They spent time reminiscing about their youth. Dr. Director let her know that she was moving to Middleton. Eventually, Dr. Director brought up, "How are you handling Kim going on missions?"

Ann sighed, "I am getting better. I used to worry she would get hurt every time. I stay up until she is back. Her fighting the villains is the worst, but at least from what I can gather they are not out to hurt her."

Betty interrupted, "Would you want her to stop?"

Ann answered, "I don't want her to stop. I want her to be safe." Ann paused and asked, "Do you think that is reasonable? What would you do if you had a child going on a mission? Oh I haven't asked. "Did you ever have any children?"

Betty answered, "I think that is reasonable. I have a son. I adopted him. He is actually around Kim's age. I would worry about him if he went out on a mission and make sure he knows to call when it is resolved and he is safe. Otherwise, I would send a team after him. Just like I would send a team after Kim. We do our best to keep track of her when she goes up against those villains."

Ann asked, "If you don't mind me asking, when did you adopt him?"

Betty took a deep breath, "He was a baby. I was first on the scene of an accident. A villian attacked Upperton and his parents were casualties of this event. I heard him crying, and when I looked at him. I knew I needed to take care of him. His parents were both only children so only grandparents would have been his family, but I asked if I could raise him and thankfully they said yes."

Ann, "That was great of you."

Betty continued, "He has made my life so much better. As I imagine your kids have."

Ann responded, "Yes, they have. Maybe we can have them meet."

An idea came to Betty who replied, "That's a great idea. Once we get settled in Middleton, I will give you a call"

A few days after the prom, Dr. Director gives Dr. Ann Possible a call so their children can meet. Betty thinks now the hard part, I need to tell Ron. I will tell him in the car so he can't run away. On the way to the Possible's house, Ron asks, "Where are we going?"

Betty responded, "We are going to see an old school friend of mine, Dr. Ann Possible, and her daughter, Kim."

Ron incredulously asks, "Why are we exposing my cover to them?"

Betty responds, "You will find out when we are there." Ron about to press gets shut down by his mom telling him, "It's a mom thing."

Ron sulked in the seat after hearing that.

Dr. Ann was dealing with her own temperamental teenager. Kim asks, "Why do I have to meet your friend's son?"

Ann replied, "They haven't been in Middleton long and it would be good if he knew someone his own age. Besides, are you not interested in who Dr. Betty Director's son is."

Kim suddenly became interested, "I didn't know she had a son."

Ann continued, "She doesn't broadcast it because of what her job is."

Kim gave an understanding look and begrudgingly agreed to this meeting.

They arrive at the door and Ron looks at his mom and says, "This is not going to go well."

His mom looks at him and says, "It will be fine." as she rings the doorbell.

Ann answers the door with Kim in the background. She gives Betty a hug and looks at the young blonde boy standing next to her and says, "You must be her son."

As Ann addressed the boy, Kim saw him and said, "Ron? Your Dr. Director's son."

Ron shrugged and said, "Yep."

Kim starts pacing around the living room where Dr. Director, Ron, and Ann are sitting.

Kim glares at Ron and says, "Why didn't you tell me?"

Ron said, "You never asked." This was not the response Kim was looking for.

Dr. Director sensing things were about to get worse, looks at Kim and Ann and says, "I have another confession to make." Kim freezes as Dr. Director continues, "After talking with your mom some months ago, I planted Ron in the high school to make sure you were safe, for him to figure out how you got your information, and to assess whether I should offer you a position in Global Justice."

Kim and Ann looked confused. Betty kept speaking, "Ann I know you very well and I knew that you would worry about Kim fighting villains. Once I found out about her and her demeanor, I realized she would not stop. So before I had Ron planted in the school, I had Global Justice leak information that would tempt the villains in the area so we could make sure that they couldn't succeed."

Kim now angrily screams, "So I have been fighting fakes."

Ron interrupts, "They didn't know that they couldn't succeed, and the henchmen were real and so was Shego."

Kim looked at him, "How do you know about Shego?"

Ron answered, "Neither Wade nor Global Justice was able to figure out Drakken's last attempt to take over the world until during the Prom. So when I left the prom for two hours, I was actually taking down Drakken, Shego, and the Henchmen he hired. I also was the one who disabled to synthodrone Eric."

Kim looked at Dr. Director, "What else did you interfere with?"

Betty answered, "When you retrieved the Jade statues for Lord Fiske, GJ sent someone to place replicas because we found out he would have developed an unknown power from it."

Ron jumped in, "That didn't work out so well."

Kim asked, "What do you mean?"

Ron looked at his mom and nodded so that he could continue, "So I replaced all the statues so Lord Fiske couldn't get the mystical monkey power and in doing so I accidentally became endowed with it."

Kim said, "Mystical monkey power can't be a real thing."

Betty gave Ron a look and Ron knew what he had to do. Suddenly Ron's eyes started to glow blue. Seeing that Kim wasn't convinced he started to float with a blue aura surrounding him.

Kim said, "What else?"

Betty confessed, "So you and Ron actually met before school."

Kim looked confused. Betty continued, "I believe you and your mom called him the dancing burglar."

Kim looked at Ron and said, "I want a rematch right now."

Ron stood up and said, "I would rather not."

It was too late as Kim was channeling her anger about all the revelations she was experiencing at Ron. Ron continued to dodge the attacks with ease. Betty saw Ann looking concerned and told her, "Don't worry, I know Ron won't hurt her and Ron is excellent at avoiding attacks"

Ann stopped worrying about the ruckus in her house and asked Betty, "Why didn't you tell me?"

Betty answered, "I didn't want Kim to be mad at you as well. I also intervened because I could not have a teenager saving the world, and she was too young to bring into Global Justice."

Ann asked, "Why is Ron part of GJ?"

Betty answered, "Technically he is not in the records. Less than a dozen people know he is my son and that he has a lot of training including with a few special forces units. I only let him into the field when he beat a team of seals in a drill, twice."

Ann yelled, "Kim be careful."

Kim cried, "I'll be fine. As soon as he stops dancing and starts fighting I will have him beat."

Ann looked up to see that Ron has once again turned Kim's attacks into something that reseabled a dance. Ann couldn't help herself, "Aren't they cute dancing?"

Kim yelled, "Mom!"

Betty added, "I will show you the video of their first dance later."

Ann decided to instigate, "Wouldn't it be cute if they got married and we played that video during the reception."

Betty said, "So cute."

Ron and Kim temporarily stopped what they were doing which had now moved to the kitchen and both yelled, "Mom!"

Kim refocused and said, "One I will not marry him. Two stop dancing."

Ron said, "Okay. Dr. Possible, could I borrow your table cloth?"
Ann confused said, "Sure"

With Kim's next attack Ron grabbed the table cloth and used it to tightly swaddle Kim. Ron then carried Kim back into the living room and placed her on Ann's lap saying, "It's a girl." The mom's tried to not laugh in order to not enrage Kim more.

Dr. Director in an attempt to calm down Kim, "Ron doesn't like to fight, but he might be one of the best in the world. When we spar I have to go all out and he only has to go about 70% to not get hit." Kim relaxed a little about this revelation. If someone is as seasoned as Dr. Director has troubles, so no wonder she struggled.

Dr. Director looked at Kim, "Kim it is time for you to learn what it means to be an agent. Ron is going to tell you a story about a mission he ran in order to keep one of your classmates safe. After that, I will give you some time to think about whether you want to be an agent and go against bad people or just help people in need."
