Trisha Elric sat rocking her one year old son Edward in her lap while he quietly drank from his bottle. She stroked his baby fine hair with one hand and rubbed her pregnant stomach with the other.

"What do you want Edward a brother or a sister?" She asked softly. Edward looked up at her with his sleepy golden eyes taking the bottle out of his mouth momentarily.

"Mum, baby." He mumbled before popping his bottle back in. Trisha smiled at her son and cuddled him making him giggle his babyish laugh that she loved. She stood up walking into the kitchen and opened the ice box.

"Uh-oh, it looks like we need to go get some more milk." She said grabbing the glass bottles out of the box and with out a look back walked out the door.

"Naaaaa! Mum!" Edward whined as the bright sun hit his face.

"Shhhh, shhhh. It's alright Ed, calm down. We're not going fair just to Mr. Wilkins for some more milk she said walking down the road a ways before turning into the dairy farm.

"Well hello there Trisha." The elderly man greeted.

"Hello Mr. Wilkins." She replied warmly. Ed stared at the large black and white creature that walked around the field pausing to look at them before resuming taking its share of grass.

"Ma, ma! Dat?" He asked pointing frantically Trisha followed his gaze and smiled.

"That's a cow Edward. Can you say cow?" She asked only to be met with silence.

"That little baby of yours is getting so big and another on the way huh?" Mr. Wilkins remarked. Trisha nodded.

"Yes he is and this one here will be arriving hopefully within the next couple of weeks or so." She said patting her stomach.

"So what can I do for you three today then?" He asked.

"If you're not too busy I was wondering if you could give us a refill." Trisha asked, Mr. Wilkins nodded his head and took the containers from her.

"Most certainly my dear. Hey Edward, you want to see where that milk in your bottle comes from?" Mr. Wilkins asked. Ed stared at him with big eyes and continued to drink his bottle.

"That sounds like fun." Trisha replied and followed him into the barn. Ed watched fascinated as the old man grabbed a stool and bucket. He patted the cow calming her down and situated the stool next to her. Edward watched from his mother's arms as the man placed the bucket under the cow and began squeezing it. Ed took the bottle away from his mouth watching as warm milk squirted into the bucket.

"Ma mik?" He asked pointing. Trisha nodded.

"Yes Edward that's right. Milk comes out of cows." She replied. Edward stared at the big creature as the milk spilt into the bucket before looking at his bottle.

"YUCK!" He yelled tossing his bottle down on the ground.

"Edward." Trisha scolded gently before picking it up.

"NOOO!" He screamed trying to knock it out of her hand. "NOOO MIIIIK!" He screamed throwing his body around as his little face turned bright red. His screams turned to tortured sobs and soon became inconsolable.

"If you like I could have my grandson take it over to your house as soon as I'm done Trisha." Mr. Wilkins yelled over Ed's screams.

"That would be great thank you. I'm so sorry. He's usually so well behaved." She replied.

"Nah he's probably just tired. Don't you worry Ed I'll get you your milk a.s.a.p." He shouted as Trisha left the barn only causing Edward to scream louder.
