Previously on Naruto….

"I'm at the end of my top with you Naruto! You failed the graduation last time and the time before that, tomorrow you have another chance and you're messing up again!" Iruka yelled.

"Peri, where's Naruto? He stole the Scroll of Sealing!" Iruka asked

"He did what?!" she gasped.

"Twelve years ago. The nine-tailed fox attacked our village. Everybody knows that. But what you kids don't know is the decree the Hokage made. The decree is that the beast is sealed inside of your body Naruto." Mizuki said.

"SHADOW CLONE JUTSU!" Naruto yelled.

"Congratulations Naruto. You graduate." Iruka beamed with pride.

There were two bad things about being late to class:

One. Nearly all of the seats being taken.

Two. Fangirls. Sasuke's fangirls which was nearly every girl in the class if not the whole school. Peri groaned as the only available seat was right next to the class's heartthrob. (First day of being a ninja and it's already going bad.) she sighed silently, taking a seat next to the boy. It's not that Peri didn't like the Uchiha, she just couldn't stand his bad attitude thinking that he was better than everybody else. Not to mention he was a bit of a snob if you asked her. Luckily, Naruto was there too. "Naruto what are you doing here? Only those who graduate?" Shikamaru asked annoyed

"Hey he did graduate don't you see his headband." Peri defended as Naruto pointed to his headband.

"I can't believe that they actually let you graduate." Sasuke taunted.

Which was a really bad idea since the brown-haired girl was really tired and simply not in a good mood. The Senju glared at him as a dark aura surrounded her.

BANG!

Sasuke was on the floor wide-eyed as she kicked his chair in. Anger rose inside him, but he was helped back by Shikamaru's paralysis jutsu. "What a drag. Can you two not fight it's too early in the morning and stop starting stuff Sasuke." the Nara sighed, releasing his jutsu before taking his seat.

Peri ignored the glares of both the Uchiha and his group of fans who were sitting behind her. As things began to quiet down, peace was quickly disrupted when two of Sasuke's biggest fans busted through the doors.

Ino Yamanaka and Sakura Haruno.

"I won again Sakura!" Ino grinned, slightly out of breath

"Yeah right. I was totally ahead of you." Sakura snapped glaring at her rival.

Naruto blushed looking at the pink-haired girl. Peri just frowned; she really didn't understand what he saw in the Haruno. The girl was completely immature and treated him like crap. Plus she knew of a certain blue-haired girl who truly loved Naruto for who he was. It would be so nice of two of her friends who get to know each other better. The brunette put in on her list of things to do since the Hyuga girl was way too shy to ever confess her feelings.

She was pulled out of her thoughts when someone tapped her on the shoulder. "Excuse me Peri, but can you please move?" Sakura asked sweetly

"There's no other seat just sit somewhere else " Peri groaned.

"Look can you just move already? I want to sit next to Sasuke!" she growled angrily and came along trying to pull the girl out of the seat.

"Yeah right. I'm sitting next to him!" Ino yelled, pulling her other arm. Just then more and more fangirls came over and began to scream at each other annoying Sasuke and Peri.

(Clueless.) Sasuke inwardly sighed trying to ignore the high pitch screams.

-Hokage's Office-

Hiruzen Sarutobi was sitting at his desk with a group of jounin around the desk. The group was watching the fight through Hiruzen's crystal ball. "Most promising student Sasuke Uchiha." Asuma said scratching his beard

"He's the only survivor of the Uchiha Clan." Kurenai added.

-Classroom-

Peri grabbed both Sakura's and Ino's wrists and flipped the girls over her shoulders, across the room. "It's too early in the damn morning for this. Just sit somewhere else or else I'll break your puny little bones. NOW LEAVE ME ALONE!" Peri yelled slamming her first to the desk unbeknownst to her fist left a crack in it. Sakura quickly took a seat next to Naruto while the other scrambled to sit somewhere else. "Nice one Peri." Kiba smirked which she returned, unknowingly Sasuke was looking at her with slight interest. He's never seen anyone fight like that, especially a girl. He never actually talked to the Senju except when they would occasionally greet each other or if they were assigned to do a class project together.

To be honest Sasuke found Peri to be odd. She never once tried to flirt with him and didn't do anything to impress him. She seemed to be the only who actually took her training seriously. Sasuke didn't know why, but she was different from the rest.

-Hokage's Office-

"That girl's got some spunk to her. I would love to have her on my team." Kurenai grinned

"That's Peri Senju right. I heard she's top of the class in taijutsu just like my student." Guy said, impressed.

"She's one of the last members of the Senju Clan, is that correct?" Asuma asked.

Hirzuen nodded sadly. "Yes unfortunately that's true. Peri is also the granddaughter of the First Hokage." the hokage added.

"Who would have never thought an Uchiha and a Senju could possibly be on the same team." Izumo said.

(Naruto Uzumaki huh?) the copy ninja thought.

-Classroom-

Naruto jumped up on the desk glaring at Sasuke who just glared right back at him. Naturally, it was going to end up in disaster.

And then it happened.

A boy in front of them accidentally elbowed the blonde in the back causing him to fall. Unto Sasuke's lips and let's just say it wasn't taken too well.

Sasuke nearly puked.

Naruto got beat up.

While Peri, Kiba, Choji, and Shikamaru were laughing their butts off. Maybe the morning wasn't so bad after all.

"Alright, settle down everyone, it's time to announce the squads. Since there's a larger group one of you will be temporarily placed on a team until further notice.." Iruka said and began listing the new ninja squads.

(Well, I just it does make sense. Just about everyone in the class passed the graduation exam and we are the biggest class in the whole academy. I wonder which group will have temporary member?) Peri thought

(I want to be with Sakura. Maybe Peri too since she's my friend and….I don't care as long as it's not Sasuke.) Naruto thought, scratching his head.

(Let me be with Sasuke. I just have to be with him and nobody else!) Sakura prayed closing her eyes

("SASUKE AND I WERE MADE FOR EACH OTHER!") Inner Sakura yelled in the pink-haired girl's mind.

(Groups of three? That would just slow me down. And one team with a short term teammate? Give me a break.) Sasuke growled annoyed that he was going to have to deal with other weaklings.

"Team Seven. Naruto Uzumaki, Peri Senju, and Sasuke Uchiha"

"WHAT!" Naruto exclaimed

Dark lines appeared on Peri's forehead as he sulked to herself. "I'm doomed."

"You've gotta be kidding me." Sasuke groaned annoyed

"And Sakura Haruno will be placed on this team until further notice. Now the next group." Iruka said before continuing listing the squads.

"YEA!" Sakura cheered

"I'm doomed." the blonde moped

"Alright, you're all dismissed. You will meet your jounin instructor after lunch." Iruka said as the kids began to pile out of the classroom.

Peri was sitting on the rooftop alone barely touching her food. She wasn't really hungry at the moment. (It's so strange. You always said you would watch me become a ninja but neither of you are here.) she said to herself. There wasn't a day that went by that she didn't miss her family.

She wished that they were here, but not even the strongest ninja could bring back the dead. It was almost noon and she quickly packed up the rest of her lunch and made her way back to the classroom.

Thump.

"What was that?" she asked looking around for someone, but she was the only one there.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

Peri peered into an open window to see Sasuke tied up with tape on his mouth. She covered her mouth failing to suppress her giggles. Obviously, he fell for one of Naruto's traps. "Do you need a hand?" she asked entering his apartment. Sasuke struggles to break free, but was unsuccessful and looked at her quietly asking for help. The brunette chuckle untying the ropes and taking off the tape. Sasuke silently moved past her making his way to where she came from. "You know the polite thing to say is thank you. I didn't have to help you." Peri said crossing her arms

"Hn."

"What the hell does that mean even mean?!" she groaned. This guys was impossible

"You're gonna help me find Naruto. You're always with him so you should know where he is." he said grabbing her wrist.

"The hell? I don't know where he is!"

"Hn."

"Stop saying that!"

Sakura was sitting alone on a park bench feeling a little down. She was hoping that she and Sasuke were on the same team so they could spend some time together. And when he did come they almost kissed until he ran off in a hurry. (I had no idea he was so shy. He's so dreamy I wish he would hurry up.) she said to herself squealing happily. And that's when he came back, but he was with Peri holding her hand.

(UGH! Why is she with him! Is Peri trying to take him from him? No, her hair is shorter than mine and Sasuke likes girls with long hair so there's no need to worry.) the girl said to herself

"Sasuke you're back! Don't be shy this time you bad boy! So are you mentally prepared because I am. I mean I'm raring to go!" she gushed

"What are you talking about?" Peri asked

"I wasn't talking to you. I'm talking to Sasuke!" she retorted jealous that the brunette was standing so close to her crush.

Finally, the raven-haired Uchiha looked at her with a disinterested look on his face. "Where's Naruto?" he asked in a monotone voice.

"There you go again changing the suspect. Anyway, Naruto just picks fights with you all the time. You know why he acts that way is because he wasn't raised right. He doesn't have a mother or a father to teach him right from wrong so of course he always gets in trouble." Sakura said. Peri clenched her fists in anger and Sasuke glared harshly at her, but the green-eyed pink haired girl was unaware of it as she continued to rant. "Naruto's selfish and bratty. He's all alone-AHHH!" Sakura screamed falling to the ground. Peri pulled her up by her collar lifting her into the air. "L-Let me go! Sasuke help me!" she cried

"As if he would help you. What the hell do you know about being alone? You go home every day with food on the table and clothes on your back. You have no idea how it feels not to see your parents in the morning knowing that you will never see them again! People like you make me sick! You take everything for granted not knowing how lucky you are to still have a family!" Peri yelled. She slammed the helpless Sakura back on the bench as she looked at her with fear in her eyes. Taking a deep breath the Senju walked away before she did anything that she would regret. As much as she annoyed her Sakura was her teammate and they would have to learn to work together.

(Over my dead body. That spoiled brat should be happy that she still has parents.) Peri growled making her way back to the classroom. Sitting down she began to look at the trees out the window. Trees always helped her feel better, they were a part of her home since she lived in a forest. Sasuke walked in not too long after her taking the seat next to her. "If you want me to apologize to Sakura then forget it." she spoke

"Not at all. You were right. She doesn't understand and she's annoying." Sasuke said before closing his eyes.

There was a silence between the teammates. It wasn't an awkward one instead it was more of a comfortable silence. Peri looked at the boy next to her. She has to admit he was bad looking, his dark hair stuck out against his fair skin. And yeah he wasn't that bad since he stuck up for her, but there was something bothering her. And it has been for a long time. "Hey, Sasuke? Why do you have so many fangirls?" Peri asked

Sasuke looked at her surprised.

"Guess asking it's kinda been on my mind." she asked

"I just do." he responded

"But why?" the girl persisted

"I….don't know. Maybe it's because I'm an Uchiha." Sasuke said softly.

"Well no offense, but that's not a good reason to like someone. I mean somebody to be friends with me just because I'm a Senju. I would want them to like me because of me. But I'm not a fangirl so I wouldn't understand their logic. I don't even think they're human." Peri said moving closer to whisper the last part. (I don't understand why you are so different?) Sasuke said to himself. Naruto and Sakura finally came back to the classroom. The pink-haired girl was still a little shaken up by her encounter with the brunette because she flinched when Peri looked at her and sat by Naruto much to his happiness.

-Forty minutes later-

The four genins were still waiting for their sensei to come. Iruka left not too long after asking them to be a patient as they waited.

Finally, Naruto had enough and decided to pull a prank on their sensei.

"What are you doing Naruto?" Sakura asked horrified

"This is what he gets for being late." the blonde smiled placing the eraser on the edge of the door.

"Our team leader is a jounin, you really think they'll fall for that?" Sasuke asked

Bet you ten ryo that'll work." Peri grinned.

A silver-haired man with dark grey eyes wearing a standard flak jacket walked in the room. Only to be hit by the eraser.

Naruto burst out laughing and Peri motioned Sasuke to pay up, while Sakura tried to apologize.

"Well, how do I say this? My first impression….you're a bunch of idiots." the man said bored.

The four kids just moped when he said that with anime blue lines on their foreheads.

Author's Note

Well next up is the bell test. I added the scene with Sasuke and Peri talking to each other because they do have a lot in common. Plus, I always wondered why he had so many fangirls in the first place.

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Sasuke fan. His character is one of if not the most interesting especially how he overcomes the hatred in his heart. But that's always been a question of mine.

Anyway, thank you for reading, comment because those are super important to me, and be safe!
