And there she was, the flower lady kneeled
Maybe the planet's fate wasn't yet sealed.
She smiled at me as if things were going great,
Little did she know of her soon-to-be fate..
He came rushing down, sword held in his palms,
I rushed forward, and you died in my arms.
The Materia that held her hair jumped and escaped,
Out of our reach and of the Man that was Caped.
She would never again laugh, cry, get angry or get worried,
In the lake outside, that's where she is to be buried.
Down through the water, finally at rest,
I'm just a puppet like him? Was this only a test!
He came rushing down, sword held in his palms,
I rushed forward, and you died in my arms.
The Materia that held her hair jumped and escaped,
Out of our reach and of the Man that was Caped.
I should stop this now, before it is too late,
Who will be next! Who will next meet their fate?
It's all my fault, I should have been there,
I could have protected her, she could have been in my care!
He came rushing down, sword held in his palms,
I rushed forward, and you died in my arms.
The Materia that held her hair jumped and escaped,
Out of our reach and of the Man that was Caped.
Sephiroth, I'll kill you! I'll rip you apart!
You say I'm a puppet, with no feelings and no heart!
But I don't believe you, you can't fool me..
I will follow you out, then you'll realise, then you'll see!
