Good Morning, My Darlings.
All mistakes are on me today!

I hate crying. It's stupid and makes me look dumb as hell, but fuck, I cannot stop these tears today.
I'm married to my best friend. If there were ever cause to believe in miracles, this is it.
Somehow, some impossible way, a global pandemic brought this man to me who despite all reason, not only puts up with my crazy, but loves me for it.
Fuck, I'm crying again.
"God, you are so beautiful," Edward whispers, leaning down to kiss me. It's been a whirlwind since the ceremony. We've barely had a moment to breathe, but despite that, we can't stop making out.
And what's more, people are encouraging it. We should have gotten married a long time ago.
"Hey," I say, pulling back from him and grinning. "Think I can add wife of Duck Dealer to my resume now?"
Edward laughs, pulling me by the hips closer to him. "I'll teach you the tools of the trade. You'll be dealing in no time, carrying on the family business," he murmurs against my lips. I grin and kiss him hard.
Whistles break us up, and I look up to see our friends and family cheering us on. It's only a little embarrassing.
Our reception is casual, and it makes me happy to see people laughing and joking around us. The people who matter most to us in the world have all gathered for us, and there is something really overwhelming and exciting about that.
"Bella! Edward! Look at you two!"
My good mood plummets, just a little bit when I hear my mom.
I turn to see her rushing us, arms outstretched. I step in front of Edward so she can't try to feel him up, again.
"Hey, Mom," I say, accepting her hug. She squeezes me like it's been a few days since we've seen each other and not more than a decade. Okay, fine, I have seen her over the last few days too, but she hugged me the same the first time we saw each other. Like no time had passed, like she hadn't basically ignored me most of my life.
"Oh Bella, you're so pretty. You look just like me at your age," she says, patting her hair. I don't bother to comment. "And Edward, handsome as ever," she coos. He gives her a stiff smile.
"Mom, you've met him like twice," I point out. She ignores me.
"Of course, Bella never filled out quite like I did," she says, pushing her boobs up and winking at Edward.
"Mom."
She keeps talking. "But she really came a long way. Bella was such an ugly little duckling for so long! It must have been Charlie's genes!"
"Mom!"
Edward looks stunned and my mom, the never-ending shit show, keeps talking.
"Oh Bella, so sensitive!" She rolls her eyes. "So, I hear you two are off to live in Europe?" She asks. Edward nods. "Oh, how romantic! Just don't get swept up in it all. I'm too young to be a grandmother," she says, winking at him. "Being young and virile is fun, but nothing will kill the romance like a baby."
Now I'm pissed off. "Will you excuse us mom?" I ask, grabbing Edward's wrist.
"Oh, where are you going?"
I tug him away from her and turn to speak over my shoulder. "To make a baby!"
Okay, I know Renee is a piece of work. For those worried about it, we'll get a glimpse at their vows, don't worry! See you loves tomorrow!
