Good Morning, My Loves!
All mistakes are on me.

"Babe," I laugh, shaking my head. "Calm down."
Bella turns to me, her nostrils flaring. "God, she pisses me off."
I smirk and pull her into my arms. "I know, Babe. But this isn't about her at all, no matter what she thinks." I'm amused by Bella's reaction to Renée, but I'm also pissed by Renée's rant. The woman is dumb and blind.
She lets out a shaky breath. "I know, you're right," she mutters. I love her too much to point out how infrequently she admits those words, even though I usually am right about things.
"Hey, did you get to eat any watermelon yet?"
Bella wanted only a handful of things at our wedding, and a watermelon bar had been one of them. No one was really sure what that meant, but after much discussion, we learned it was in essence a buffet of watermelon prepared and cut in unique ways. It was bizarre, but so Bella, and so far it looks like it's been a hit.
"No," she says, gazing across the reception. "I want some."
I nod. "Go sit down and I'll bring you a plate," I offer. She looks up at me in surprise then grins.
"Mm, being waited on hand and foot? I could get used to this," she purrs. I laugh and kiss her. I won't tell her this, but I really can't deny her anything. If she wants me to serve her the rest of our lives, I probably happily would. She can't know that sort of information outright though, or who knows what sort of havoc she'd wreak with it.
She pulls back from me, smiling a little and fuck, she knows how whipped I am.
She goes to sit down and I head over to the watermelon table, grabbing a plate.
A few extended family members stop me to chat, and I haven't seen anyone in so long that I feel obligated to talk to them, especially since everyone made the trek out to LA for us. It takes me forever to get back to Bella, and when I do, I see my Aunt Charlotte is crowding her.
I clear my throat, setting the plate in front of Bella and getting Aunt Charlotte's attention.
"Oh, Edward!" she cries, standing and pulling me into a fierce hug. "You're so dashing! I was just wishing your bride congratulations and a successful marriage night," she winks at me as she pulls back and my mouth pops open in shock.
"Uh," What the hell am I supposed to say to that?
Bella, who has grabbed the plate of watermelon I made for her, spears a piece and stuffs it in her mouth before talking. "Oh don't worry, I'm not quitting until something breaks."
Aunt Charlotte squeals in delight and I'm officially mortified. Bella shoots me a wink, and I'm so flustered and annoyed and turned on by her, I can't even speak.
Aunt Charlotte pats my cheek. "Good luck, Sweetheart. She's spunky." She chuckles as she leaves us, and I sink into the chair next to my wife.
"I like her," Bella says, shoving another slice of watermelon in her mouth. I stare at her and all I can do is shake my head and laugh. I can't wait to spend forever with this woman.
