Reign in Blood: Pre-show
TV-14
As the Chicago natives are arriving in the Allstate Arena, "War of Change" by Thousand Foot Krutch is heard throughout the arena and Mike "The Mic" Martin and "Violet" Clarissa Rivera seen sitting at the announce table.
"Hello, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Pre-show of ACW Reign in Blood; Mike 'The Mic' Martin here at the announce table!" Mike says.
"And joining him will be me, 'Violet' Clarissa Rivera! We will be your commemorators for tonight's Pre-show until Kenji Matsuo, Zack Carver, Markiplier, and Barney Stinson arrives." Clarissa says.
"And until then, we got two matches on for tonight and in between them is an interview and a special rock concert performed by ACW's very own In the Blink of an Eye! They shall be performing Reign in Blood's and the Playground of Blood's theme songs 'War of Change' and 'Hail to the King'!" Mike states.
"Woo! This is gonna be an exciting Pre-show!" Clarissa smiles.
"Then let's get started!"

The crowd gives a mixed reaction as Ryan Griffin comes out to the stage with a confident smirk. He nods his head and walks down the ramp to the ring, passing high-fives to the fans. He slides under the bottom rope into the ring and points to the fans with a cocky smirk, inciting another mixed reaction.
The bell rings as Maria Lopez makes the announcement, "The following contest is scheduled for a Falls Count Anywhere Match! Introducing first: from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 167 pounds, 'The Young Rebel' Ryan Griffin!"
"And we are kicking things off with the FCA Match between Ryan and James Griffin! This is cousin versus cousin, nothing will be held back tonight once they get started," Clarissa states.
"With the anger they have against each other, no doubt in my mind it'll be at least chaotic," Mike adds.

("Bully" by Shinedown)
A loud mix of boos and cheers appear from the smark crowd as "The Bully" James Griffin walks out to the stage, looking vicious and glaring throughout the arena. He begins walking down the ramps on the way to the ring. He turns left and walks up the steel steps into the ring through the ropes. He stands in the middle of the ring and just looks at the in-between crowd from left to right and raises both fists.
"And his opponent: from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 225 pounds, James Griffin!"
"The Bully makes his presence in Chicago and you can see he wants revenge against Ryan from the post-show of Spring Breakdown five weeks ago," Clarissa informs.
"To be honest, I don't exactly blame him for being peeved over this. I mean, I still don't like him for being a bully, but I'm not sure still that he deserves what Ryan gave to him on the post-show after Spring Breakdown," Mike states. "He's attacked Ryan from behind, defeated Hernan Ortiz clean...before that night, he defeated ASH KETCHUM—a former world champion. That says something."
Ryan and James stand at their respective corners, glowering at each other intensely until the ref checks on both...and calls for the bell. Ryan suddenly sprints at James, who ducks a Clothesline from him and makes a run for the ropes. He bounces them off, Ryan suddenly springboards off the middle rope with a Back Elbow, but James dodges it and Ryan crashes onto the floor. The Young Rebel Griffin stands up and the Bully Griffin suddenly takes him down with a harsh Lariat, as if to turn him inside-out. Ryan was about to stand up, but James immediately starts stomping him down on the canvas as the former is shielding himself from the kicks. Once he was finished, James exits the ring and starts searching though the apron for a foreign weapon under the ring. He then takes out three trashcans with the lids, a kendo stick, a large 2x4, and two steel chairs.
"James looked through the apron and finds himself a few foreign objects to use against Ryan," Mike states.
"And speaking of Ryan, look out below!" Clarissa shouts as Ryan leaps over the top rope onto his cousin with a Somersault Senton!
"The Young Rebel taking the risk and connects that Senton on to the Bully!" Mike shouts.
After taking the Bully Griffin down, Ryan grabs a kendo stick and measures his opponent up to his feet. James starts shaking his head to regain his senses and stands up; he turns around and his head gets whacked with the kendo stick in Ryan's hands! James was now dazed as he still stands and swings a punch to only miss. Ryan then smirks to himself, twirls the wooden sword in his hand, and strikes his gut hard with the weapon. James stands bend over and gets his back whipped by the wooden weapon once again. With the Bully on his knees, Ryan pulls him to his feet and slams his face onto the announce table. James falls back holding his head before starting to crawl away slowly as Ryan stalks him with now a kendo stick and a trashcan lid. He slams the lid on his back once again and starts trying to choke him out with the wooden sword. James starts struggling to break free as Ryan kept tight of the hold. The former slowly stands up on his feet, then the Rebel Griffin gets on him with a Bodyscissors, having himself wrapped around him to keep close and tight onto the illegal hold. Apparently, James look like he was about to fade out, losing oxygen from the kendo stick held against his throat...until his eye spots the security barricade he and his cousin are near. He sets the idea in as he slowly turns around, making his back face the barricade, runs backwards to it, and rams Ryan back-first right into the barricade!
"My goodness, Ryan just had his back hit first into the security barricade with authority! James manages to come back with that maneuver," Mike states.
"I truly did not expect James to make a smart move like that—but I am impressed," Clarissa admits.
Ryan stays at the barricade to nurse his back after being sent straight to the small wall and James gets on hands and knees as he coughs. As soon as he was done, he turns to his hurt cousin and snarls in anger. He walks over to him and pulls him up by his hair as he says to his face, "That how you wanna win, cuz? That how you wanna win, by CHOKING me out!? Man, you're that desperate to bury me again... NOT GONNA HAPPEN, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" That's when he throws Ryan right into the steel steps! The Young Rebel screams out loud in pain as he writhes on the padded floor; James grabs him once again and throws him into the ring this time. He walks over to the weapons he pulled out earlier and throws in only two trashcans, a trashcan lid, and the steel chairs. He slides under the bottom rope and drops the right elbow onto the back of Ryan's head. The Bully Griffin holds him up to his feet and whips him to the ropes; Ryan bounces off, leaps over, and kicks him down with a Double Foot Stomp before rolling forward to his feet! Ryan grabs James' head, holds him up to his feet, kicks him straight in the midsection, and throws him to the ropes via Irish Whip. James bounces off and Ryan slams his back onto a steel chair with a Spinebuster. Immediately, Ryan hooks the leg for the pin: 1, 2...James kicks out at 2.798. The rebellious Griffin curses to himself and he exits the ring to stand on the apron for a surprise maneuver to James. He measures him up to his feet, jumps onto the top rope, springs off them, and flies right into a vicious European Uppercut! James grabs a trashcan, hovers it over Ryan, and slams it on his spine. Ryan writhes in absolute pain as James hits his back with the trashcan four more times as the weapon is getting dented. After he was done, he inserts the dented trashcan between the top and middle turnbuckle pads and picks Ryan up. He runs at the trashcan and rams his head right into it! Ryan holds his head as he sits in the corner with great pain. During then, James grabs a steel chair, unfolds it, and sets it down in the middle of the ring. Ryan crawls away from the corner, trying to regain his senses, and James gets him up. He pushes him to the ropes, Ryan bounces off, James catches him for a Sidewalk Slam, but Ryan actually manages to counter with a Headscissors Takedown, drilling his cousin's head right in the steel chair!
"An unbelievable counter by the Young Rebel, slamming James' head into the steel chair! I doubt he'll be getting up after that!" Clarissa states.
However, as James just lies on the floor, Ryan is panting heavily and is still hurt after getting his head sent into the trashcan. He slowly sits up, crawls over to James, grabs the chair and throws it out, and then hooks the leg: 1...2...James kicks out at 2.9285! Ryan groans in frustration and lies back down on the mat, thinking what in the world he's gotta do to take James down. He stands up and sizes him up for the Roundhouse Kick. James uses the ropes to help himself up and slowly staggers to his feet, unaware that Ryan stalks him. He manages to get up, then he turns around into the Roundhouse—NO! He ducks it! James grabs him up for a Back Suplex, lifts him over, and Ryan lands on his feet. He grabs him in an Inverted Facelock, looking for the Lighting Attack (Inverted DDT), but James somehow spins out of it and throws him over the top rope. Ryan, however, hangs on and gets on the apron. Seeing this, James runs after him and Ryan pulls down the rope, making his opponent fall over to the outside! Ryan takes few breathers before getting inside the ring as James holds his head, as if he landed on it. He starts to get up and Ryan sees it; once he made it to his feet, Ryan runs for the ropes, bounces off, makes a run back, jumps through the ropes for a Suicide Dive and JAMES SLAMS HIS SKULL IN WITH THE STEEL CHAIR!
"Oh, s%t! Where did that chair even come from!?" Mike shouts. "Ryan flies through and James smashes the chair into his head!"
"Where did he even get it?!" Clarissa says. "How— ...oh, no..."
James pulls Ryan up to his feet by his hair, puts him in a Standing Headscissors, brings him onto his shoulders, and hits the Grounded onto the steel chair, much wincing heard from the crowd! James hooks the leg as the ref comes outside and counts it: 1, 2, 3!
"And James takes the W!" Mike calls as the bell rings.
("Bully" by Shinedown)
"Here is your winner, James Griffin!" Maria declares.
James releases the leg and stands up on his knees with his hand holding his head, glowering down on his injured cousin and the referee holds his arm up. He takes his arm back and continues staring down Ryan as the official checks on him. He cracks a very small smug smirk across his face and slowly walks backwards to the stage.
"Two Griffins have collided in the ring and one stands tall after the war—James Griffin, the Bully," Mike states as a replay shows Ryan flying through the ropes with Suicide Dive and James hitting him in midair with the chair. Then it shows the past clip before that scene where James was seen picking up the chair Ryan threw out.
Clarissa sees the clip and says, "Well, that explains it. James grabbed the chair Ryan threw away and used it as a counter. He planned ahead on that one..."
As Ryan gets checked out, James still walks backwards on the ramps to the stage, smug and proud grin on his face, feeling successful in his quest of vengeance and back on top of the world. The camera switches to the Interview area where Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg stands with the mic in hand.
"Heh-heh—how's it going, Bros? My name is PewDiePie! As you can see, Clarissa and Mike are at the announce table—lucky bastards—and I'm here...by myself..." Then, somehow, sad violin music is heard playing in the background as...Pewds cries? "I'm so lonely..."
The camera slowly pans out while Felix cries...and the Erupting Eds, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, are seen standing next to him, enticing very loud and bursting cheers from the Chicago natives.
"Uh...Mr. Kjellberg?" Edd calls, but PewDiePie continues bawling...and, apparently, so is Ed as he sees the (strange) sadness from him.
"HE'S SO SAD, DOUBLE D!" Ed cries as he hugs him tightly out of grief; the crowd is even heard laughing at the classic antics that is the Eds.
"Mr. Kjellberg?" Edd calls again and the Monobrowed Ed and Swedish YouTuber continue bawl in tears...and Eddy was getting pretty annoyed as he grinds his teeth together and his eyebrows were narrowed together in anger.
And just when he had enough...
"ALL RIGHT, ALREADY!" Eddy shouts into their ears very loudly.
Ed and Pewds blink twice as Edd picks out his ear with his pinky.
The Lump turns to Eddy, "...Hi, Eddy!"
Eddy face-palms, "Can we get this interview over with, please?"
"In a calm tone, I concur with Eddy here. We may not have enough time right now," Edd states.
"Oh, alright. Getting to ze interview...two days ago, you three were pitted against The SHIELD with Ed versus David Reigns and the latter came out to be the winner after a vicious Spear—dubbed as the Final Reign. Tonight, you three plan to make some history by not only ending the The Hounds of Justice's Trio Title reign, but being the second to win those titles and actually win a Trio Tag Title belt for all of you. Along with that, this could be your last time as well since ACW news says they will be defecting that title along with other midcard titles such as the United States Title, the Intercontinental Title, and the Television Title. That kind of says something there. Do you all three truly plan to do just that, Bros?" PewDiePie asks.
"Let me be the first to answer your query, Mr. Kjellberg. In a simple answer: Yes. We plan to do exactly just that. The SHIELD may have slithered themselves into gold glory with Luke by their side when they first won it, they may have swiped themselves a cheap victory via DQ to keep the titles...but tonight will be VERY different, Mr. Kjellberg, because this is a rematch of the first episode of ACW where The SHIELD debuted and we arrived. It was a distasteful victory, but as I said already, tonight will be different. There will be no one to interfere, there will be no cheap wins, nothing at all as this will be a fair fight between six men. Three-on-three for the Trio Tag Team Championships. And we shall be making history by ending their reign and becoming the second and last Trio Tag Champions. It may be a short reign after Reign in Blood is over, but we will be proud of our 15 minutes of Trio Tag Title fame," Edd says.
"Overall, Blondie, when we do beat those SHIELD copycat dirt bags, us Eds," Eddy says as he slings his arms around the Eds, "will be swimming in more gold and in moolah, fame and fortune all over Awesome Championship Wrestling! We've all been through tag title gold—this is TRIO title gold, and this is where the Eds will shine upon everything and make history, baby!"
"TRIO TAG TITLE FOR ED!" Ed shouts with pride as the fans cheer.
"Let's go, boys! We got some Trio belts to snatch—uh, I mean...WIN," Eddy winks and walks off.
"Eddy's presumption never ceases to surprise me," Edd chuckles as he follows.
"Follow the leader!" Ed then makes himself run...but really just follows his fellow Eds by walking.
"Heh-heh...that's the Eds for ya, Bros. They seem pretty determined to beat The SHIELD for the Trio Tag Titles. Can they do so by ending their reign and becoming the second AND last Trio Tag Champs of the World, or will The Hounds of Justice prevail and become the first and only Trio Tag Champions? If the latter happens...some red-haired psycho bitch's gonna be pissed..." PewDiePie snickers. "Anyways, back to you Bros at the announce table, and enjoy the rest of the pre-show, guys! I'll see you later. And...here comes the Bro Fist. *Holds fist out and slowly extends it forward to camera* Mm-byeeeeeeeeeeee!"
Felix's fist blacks out the camera's view and the scene changes to the announce table with Clarissa and Mike.
"Thank you, Felix," Mike says. "Pretty decent by the Eds proclaiming themselves as the new Trio Champions over The SHIELD. Hector, Erik, and David, however, plan themselves to retain and at least serve some Justice to the challengers."
"Either it'd be the Eds or The SHIELD to make history, it's gonna be exciting no matter what," Clarissa says.
"And everybody will be looking forward to it. But first, we got a performance tonight by ACW's own In the Blink of an Eye!"
"Then what the hell are we waiting for?! Go to them—quick, dang it!" Clarissa cheers as the camera moves over to the stage where ACW's rock band In the Blink of an Eye are standing in front of a cheering crowd.
"Ladies and gentlemen, performing 'War of Change' and 'Hail to the King,' please welcome ACW's own In the Blink of an Eye!"
Atem is on guitar (currently holding a badass black guitar with a Yu-Gi-Oh! designs on it and the Eye of Anubis AKA the Millennium Symbol on the front) and backing vocals, Yugi Mutou on lead vocals (currently has a birdcage microphone in hand), Naruto Uzumaki on bass guitar (currently holding and orange five string bass guitar with black strings) and backing vocals, and Takashi Komuro sitting at a red drum set and backing vocals.
"What's up, Chicago!" Naruto shouts into the mic, receiving a bursting reaction of boos, and Naruto just looks at the crowd from the sudden burst in surprise. "...Yeesh...tough crowd."
"Did you not learn your lesson from New York City, Naruto?" Yugi asks, apparently receiving a few laughs from the crowd.
"...Probably not."
"I'll take care of it, dude," Yugi says as Naruto motions for him take it away. "What's up, Chicago!" the crowd bursts into cheers. "Nice to hear your reactions, guys. As of tonight, we will be performing Reign in Blood's official theme song, 'War of Change' by Thousand Foot Krutch and the Playground of Blood's official theme 'Hail to the King' by Avenged Sevenfold. Now...who's ready to rock!" the crowd bursts into even louder cheers. "Alright, then! Avenged Sevenfold, hope you're watching, 'cause we're gonna make you proud once again! We know you were proud of us at the FWAs, Shadows! Hope you like an encore. And as for Thousand Foot Krutch...hope we make you three proud. ...Hit it."
Naruto cracks a grin and begins playing the opening bass guitar riff as the lights turn dim with the spotlight on Yugi. The King of Extreme nods his head to it before bring the birdcage mic up to his mouth and sings.
It's a truth that in love and war
Worlds collide and hearts get broken
I want to live like I know I'm dying
Take up my cross, not be afraid...
Is it true what they say, that words are weapons?
And if it is, then everybody best stop stepping
'Cause I got ten in my pocket that'll bend ya locket
I'm tired of all these rockers saying, **"Come with me!"
Wait!
It's just about to break, it's more than I can take
Everything's about to change
I feel it in my veins, it's not going away
Everything's about to change
It creeps in like a thief in the night
Without a sign, without a warning
But we are ready and prepared to fight
Raise up your swords, don't be afraid...
Is it true what they say, that words are weapons?
And if it is, then everybody best stop stepping
Cause I got ten in my pocket that'll bend ya locket
I'm tired of all these rockers saying, **"Come with me!"
Wait!
It's just about to break, it's more than I can take
Everything's about to change
I feel it in my veins, it's not going away
Everything's about to change
(AAAAAHHHHH!) This is a warning, like it or not!
I break DOWN!
Like a record spinning!
Gotta get up!
So back—(OOOOOFF!)
This is a warning, like it or not!
I'm tired of listening!
I'm warning you!
DON'T TRY TO GET UP!
There's a war going on inside of me tonight (Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, don't be afraid...)
There's a war going on inside of me tonight (Don't be afraid, don't be afraid...)
**Don't be afraid, don't be...
Wait! *Pyro explodes from the stage*
It's just about to break, it's more than I can take
Everything's about to change
I feel it in my veins, it's not going away
Everything's about to change
It's just about to break!
It's more than I can take!
Everything's about to change!
I feel it in my veins!
It's not going away!
Everything's about to change! (Change, change, change...)
...
Yugi then slowly falls onto his knees, puts his hands together as in a prayer with the mic, and closes his eyes as the final chorus comes in.
Ohhhhh... *Hums*
Ohhhhh... *Hums*
Ohhhhh... *Hums*
Ohhhhh... *Hums*
Ohhhhh...
The song ends and the Chicago fans bursts loudly into cheers as the lights slowly turn dark on In the Blink of an Eye and the arena goes dark while camera flashlights throughout then; the crowd waits in the blackness for the next song. As moments pass...a lead guitar is heard being played and the one playing it is Yugi Mutou as the spotlight shines upon him and the Chicago crowd is heard cheering. Then, Takashi starts playing the drums by tapping the cymbals before Atem strums the rhythm guitar. That's just when the entire band begins playing "Hail to the King" and soon, Atem sings into the mic.
Watch your tongue or have it cut from your head
Save your life by keeping whispers unsaid
Children roam the streets now orphans of war
Bodies hanging in the streets to adore
Royal flames will carve the path in chaos
Bringing daylight to the night
Death is riding in the town with armor
They've come to take all your rights
Hail to the king!
Hail to the one!
Kneel to the crown!
Stand in the sun!
Hail to the king!
(Hail! Hail! Hail!)
...
...The King...
...
Blood is spilled while holding keys to the throne
Born again, but it's too late to atone
No mercy from the edge of the blade
Dare escape and learn the price to be paid
Let the water throw it's shades of red now
Arrows black out all the light
Death is rotting in the town with armor
They've come to grant you your rights!
Hail to the king!
Hail to the one!
Kneel to the crown!
Stand in the sun!
Hail to the king!
(Hail! Hail! Hail!)
...
...The King...
...
Yugi walks out to the front of the band and starts rocking out with his guitar solo, going with the flow of the sounds of his instrument, as fans cheer loudly and chant, "Hail! Hail! Hail" as he goes on. After nearly a minute of solo time, the band resumes their parts and Atem sings once again.
There's a taste of fear (Hail! Hail! Hail!)
When the henchmen call (Hail! Hail! Hail!)
Iron fist to tame the land... (Hail! Hail! Hail!)
Iron fist to claim it ALL!
Hail to the king!
Hail to the one!
Kneel to the crown!
Stand in the sun!
[All] Hail to the KING!
Hail to the ONE!
Kneel to the CROWN!
Stand in the SUN!
Hail to the King!
Hail!
Hail!
Hail!
...
...
The song comes to a close as the instruments fade out and the fans go insane! Every band member smirks upon their reactions and Yugi picks up the birdcage mic to speak.
"Thanks for liking it, Chicago! We'll see you all later tonight in our matches! Wish us luck and...enjoy the rest of the damn show!" Yugi exclaims proudly as the band begins leaving with their instruments and the equipment crew help them out.
"That, ladies and gentlemen, is how you rock out the stage, and In the Blink of an Eye have shown everybody how to do just that!" Mike exclaims as he claps.
"Best performance I've known myself, Mike! But now since that's over, sadly for those of music lovers, let us get to the action of the final match of our pre-show!" Clarissa says.
"I couldn't agree with you more."
[Are you ready?

You think you could tell us what to do?

You think you could tell us what to wear?
...
You think that your better?

Well, you better get ready...

BREAK IT DOWN!]
("Break it Down" by The DX Band)
The Chicago crowd explodes into cheers once more as the lights turn neon green and Ed James, Edd Remington, and Eddy McGee appear at the stage. The Eds hold up pairs of green glow-sticks to cross them in an "X" and throws them at the crowd. Ed and Eddy throw up their arms, crossing them in an "X" form and give each other an X-rated high-five while walking down to the ring. All then stand together with arms raised up and nails three DX crotch chops, signaling green "X" pyro in the ring before landing one big one for the crowd to cheer on loudly.
The bell rings as Maria makes the announcement, "The following pre-show main event is a Six-Man Tag Team Match and it is for the ACW Trio Tag Team Championships! Introducing first: all from Peach Creek, at a combined weight of 585 pounds, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, the Erupting Eds!"
"The vets, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, appear in the Allstate Arena, and the Chicago crowd is going wild for them! The three stand together as one with determination to become the new Trio Tag Champions," Clarissa states. "The Eds and The SHIELD have been mere enemies since the first episode of ACW and it's be going from there to Southern Hell to Spring Breakdown to Reign in Blood right now for the Hounds' Trio Tag Titles. History is on the line here tonight and we're gonna see who can make it."

SHIELD]
("Special Op" by Jim Johnston)
The arena bursts into very loud cheers as the lights turn sky-blue and the cameras search all around to find The SHIELD. Soon, one of the cameras lock in on Hector Ambrose, Erik Rollins, and David Reigns walking down from the arena steps in the crowd with the ACW Trio Tag Team Championships around their waists. Apparently, on their faces, they seem to wear WWE's The Shield-like masks and Ambrose is wearing a black hoodie over his head. After climbing down the stairs, they go over the security barricade and all three stay outside of the ring as they go separate to surround the entire ring.
"And their opponents: at a combined weight of 662 pounds, they are the current ACW Trio Tag Team Champions, the team of Hector Ambrose, Erik Rollins, and David Reigns, The SHIELD!" Maria announces.
"Ambrose, Rollins, Reigns, the Hounds of Justice have been the first-ever Trio Tag Team Champions since the May 10th edition of ACW after defeating the Hardcore Foundation with the help of former ACW referee, Luke Smith, and have reigned the titles since," Mike states. "They've been the first and only Trio Tag Champs for 51 days and counting. From ACW News, this could be their last night as champions whether it'd be the Eds winning it from them or The SHIELD retaining. From what we know...this is gonna be one hell of a fight."
The Eds stand together, all three at back-to-back, keeping their eyes on the Hounds, who all slowly step onto the apron and glare at the challengers while taking their Trio belts off and place them to the side. Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns slowly stalk inside the ring and circle the Eds at a slow pace while the challengers stay steady and ready for anything the champions may throw at them. Already, the Windy City starts chanting, "THIS IS AWESOME! *Clap-clap! Clap-clap-clap!* THIS IS AWESOME! *Clap-clap! Clap-clap-clap!* THIS IS AWESOME!"
"My goodness, the match hasn't even started and already, everybody in the Allstate Arena are chanting 'This is Awesome!' Really, who can blame them?" Clarissa chuckles.
"Agreed, Ms. Rivera. I'm loving this myself," Mike smirks.
The Hounds then stand right in front of the Eds and slowly take their masks off and both stables glare down at each other intensely, all six very close as the official tries to separate them and have them at their corners. Apparently, both stables' leaders Eddy and Hector step up in front and begin talking down to each other as "Let's go, SHIELD! Let's go, Eds!" chants are being heard from the Chicago crowd. McGee and Ambrose turn to the chanting crowd before staring eye-to-eye with each other. "You hear the fans, Ambrose? They want a fight; I say we give 'em one," Eddy smirks off-mic. Hector glances at the fans once again, then turns to the leader of the Eds, saying off-mic, "You know what? ...You're right. Let's give them one." That's when Eddy and Hector synchronously kick each other in the midsection and fists start being thrown as the Eds and The SHIELD go all out an actual fight! Ed trading fists with Reigns, Edd tackling Rollins down with elbows and receiving fists, and Eddy and Ambrose grappling each other while hitting each other's heads with furious punches! The Second City is just going nuts over this! Soon, Ed Clothesline David out of the ring along with Edd, who just Erik outside the ring while Eddy is throwing fists left and right at Hector as he blocks them and quickly exits the ring. The Chicago natives explode into unbelievable loud cheers as the Eds stand tall in the ring and The SHIELD gather together for a plan with glares at the challengers.
"My God, the match still hasn't even started yet and the Erupting Eds and The SHIELD have already burst into a brawl all around Chicago, Illinois!" Clarissa shouts. "Ed, Edd, and Eddy OWN the ring!"
"As the Eds stand in the ring, the champions wait retreat to the outside for a plan to take them out once and for all. Looks like things are beginning to calm down here, but who knows when another brawl will happen?" Mike queries.
Eddy stands in front of his team, apparently motioning and shouting at The SHIELD to bring it to the ring already as Hector scowls and looks to rush into the ring, but Erik and David hold him back and Rollins gives him a few words to calm him down. Ambrose follows and nods as Eddy continues taunting them to get in squared circle already. Soon, Erik and Hector stand onto the apron as David steps in to wrestle for his team as the Eds stand in their respective corner and the bell rings. The three Eds discuss who would want to go first, and with the arrogance in him, the loud-mouthed Ed steps in to take that spot. Edd seems a bit concerned over Eddy's decision and the leader just shrugs him off. Not surprised, Edd simply lets him do as he wishes and he and Ed step onto the apron. Eddy places hands on thighs with the smirk never leaving his face as Reigns stares at him with narrowed eyebrows. The loud-mouthed Ed motions him to come at him...and David speeds at him like a demon! Eddy quickly sidesteps him, then David turns around to receive a Low Dropkick to his knee, causing him to fall onto the mat. With David on all fours, Eddy sends his knee straight into the powerhouse's skull! McGee already throws fists onto him left and right as David blocks them before pushing him off. Edd sprints at him and David turns him inside out with a vicious Shoulder Block! Reigns drags Eddy by his three hairs to the corner and tags in Rollins, who leaps over the top rope, and both men start kicking him down to the mat, making sure he won't get out as the referee tries to communicate with them to have David get out. The powerhouse steps out onto the apron and Erik shoots his knee straight in Eddy's face. Rollins turns to the Eds at the corner, shouting at them off-mic, "This is your leader, huh?! This loud-mouthed moron's your leader?! Look to where that cockiness's gotten him! You two will look like him in a second!" before kicking Eddy's face in once more.
"The rookie, Erik Rollins, is mocking the Eds' leader, Eddy, as the Hounds of Justice have already surrounded him into the corner. Eddy's arrogance may have gotten the best of him here," Clarissa implies.
"Maybe, but they are vets as they went through this many times and I believe is a plan to uphold," Mike proclaims.
Erik brings Eddy to his feet and hits a Forearm Smash, then he tags in Hector and said man enters the ring. Both men bring Eddy to the ropes and whip him to the other ropes, Eddy bounces off, ducks the Double Clothesline from them, and hits a surprise Dropkick to David, sending him off the apron and right onto the barricade! When Eddy stood up, he receives two kicks to the gut by Rollins and Ambrose and both men pull him by both arms right into a Double Shoulder Block. Hector then press his face against the mat with his elbow as he pins him down: 1, 2...Eddy kicks out at 2.29. Hector sits Eddy up, then he stands up himself, backs up a bit, and drills the forearm into his spine. Eddy rolls away, writhing in pain, as Ambrose goes after him and picks him up at a neutral corner. He punches him a few times and then whips him to the opposite corner. Eddy manages to grab a hold of the ropes and lift himself above Ambrose, who runs right into the turnbuckle post shoulder-first! Eddy lands on his feet behind Hector, drags him from the corner with arms around his waist, and plants him with the Release German Suplex, and Hector lands right on his face!
"Holy s%t! Where did Eddy get that kind of strength?! That's kind of scary right there!" Clarissa shouts.
"That's the veteran work coming in to play; Eddy catches Hector off guard and he takes him out with that surprising German!" Mike states.
As Hector gets on his knees, holding his face from that German Suplex, Eddy walks over to his corner and tags in Edd. The brainy Ed leaps over, and he and Eddy run to the ropes, both bounce off, and as Ambrose makes it to his feet, Eddy hits a Chop Block and Edd nails a Shining Wizard at the same time, hitting the special combo! Edd hooks the leg, looking for the pin: 1, 2...Hector kicks out 2.82. Edd brings him to his feet and smacks his chest with the Backhand Chop, inciting "Woos" from the crowd. Edd throws him over with a Snapmare and drives his knee straight into his spine. Double D picks him up, drapes the arm over his head, thinking a Suplex as he lifts him, but Hector lands back on his feet and quickly nails the knee into his abdomen and drags him to the corner to tag David Reigns, who starts climbing onto the second rope?!
"Oh, no! This could be big trouble for the Eds already!" Clarissa says as Hector holds Edd up vertically, and David grabs him and lifts him on his shoulders.
David falls forward for a Super Powerbomb...but suddenly Edd flips him straight forward with a Super Hurricanrana! Edd apparently is on his knees a bit dazed before falling on to the mat after that unbelievable high-flying maneuver as "Holy s%t!" chants are heard in the Allstate Arena.
"My God, 'Holy S%t!' is right! Edd counters David's own Super Powerbomb with the Super Hurricanrana, sending the The SHIELD's own powerhouse nearly across the ring!" Mike shouts. "However, I think that may have already taken him and David out."
At a slow pace, Edd starts getting on all fours as David sits up, shaking his head after that Hurricanrana. Edd was the first to stand up and walks over to the ropes behind his opponent and he steps onto the apron. Edd measures Reigns up, jumps onto the top rope, bounces off, flies at him for a Springboard Forearm Smash, and connects it. He immediately hooks the leg: 1, 2...Reigns powers out at 2.75. Edd picks him up and kicks him—nope! David grabs the foot...and Edd suddenly hits an Enzuigiri into his skull. Edd turns him over for another cover, but David powers out again. Edd picks him up once more and goes for the Irish Whip...but Reigns pulls him in with pure strength right into a Big Boot, nailing his face in with his jaw! However, he still holds onto his arm and pulls him up; he pushes him away, and then pulls him right back in with a sickening Swinging Side Slam, making Edd flip onto his stomach! He lifts him up to his feet by his waist and slams him over with a Gutwrench Suplex. Edd writhes as he nurses his back and tries reaching out to tag one of his teammates, but David pulls him away and drags him to his corner for Rollins to slap his back, tagging himself in. Reigns forces Edd up and pushes him into the corner. Then he Irish Whips Rollins into a Running Forearm Smash to Edd and he follows it by Irish Whipping the brainy Ed into a Leaping Clothesline from Reigns. As David steps back to the apron, Erik cracks a cocky grin on his face as he pulls Edd up to his knees and sends five right hands into his head before hitting a large one, which nearly knocks Edd back down to the mat.
"Cocky as Rollins is, he's already got control over the Eds thanks to Reigns' strength. For the Erupting Eds' sake, they better hope Edd can make a comeback here," Mike states.
Edd uses the ropes to help himself up to his feet and Erik suddenly Clotheslines him out of the ring from behind. Rollins crouches as he sizes the brainy Ed from the outside, who is groggily standing up, and Erik runs to the ropes, bounces off, runs through the ropes, and takes Edd down with a Suicide Dive! After taking him out, Erik gives a loud shout and beats his chest before pulling Edd back into the ring, but still has him lying on the apron with his head out. As so, Eddy gets far from his corner and bickers at Rollins, who talks back at him as the ref tells the former to get down. Meanwhile, Reigns sees Edd on the apron with his head still out and he gets ready. He heads to him and drops down a Leg Drop across his chest. Rollins ends his argument with Eddy and pushes Double D back in the ring. He slides in and pins him: 1, 2...Edd kicks out at 2.58. Erik runs his hand through his hair back and drags him to an empty corner. He has him stand up with his back turned on him and away from the corner. He sits up on the top turnbuckle, brings Edd onto the second rope, then wraps the arm around his head, and jumps off forward into a Diamond Dust. Edd's head bounces off the mat and Erik hooks the leg: 1, 2...Edd gets his foot on the rope in the nick of time!
"And Edd still has the fighting spirit in him as he gets the rope break. Too close to call..." Clarissa states.
"Even so, Edd's still gotta find a way to get out of this," Mike implies.
Erik drags him back to his corner and tags Ambrose in; said man slingshots himself over and stomps his foot right onto Edd's knee, making him writhe in absolute pain. Ed and Eddy seem worried as Hector turns Double D over with a Single-Leg Boston Crab. He pulls back on the leg and Edd is just screaming, squirming in agony of the injured leg from two weeks ago and clawing on the canvas to reach for the ropes. A minute has passed, and Edd is holding both sides of his head, still reaching for the ropes. One hand extended out while the other has him standing...before suddenly folding himself forward, reversing the hold and rolling Hector up a Small Package Pin: 1, 2...Hector kicks out at 2.86! Edd gets up and backflips to hit Loss of Intelligence! Hector goes down to a knee, feeling dazed, and Edd runs up with a Shining Wizard to the jaw in unison with a loud clack and "BOOM!" by the crowd. He hooks the leg: 1, 2...Erik stops the count at 2.95! Erik steps out quickly as Edd glowers at him and picks Hector up. He sets him up for a Suplex and Hector knees him before pushing him away to a corner. Ambrose charges, Edd leapfrogs, hooks his legs over his arms, and rolls him forward for the Sunset Flip Pin: 1, 2...Ambrose kicks both sides of Edd's head for the kick out. Hector picks him up and Edd hits the Dropkick, sending him to the Eds' corner and the brainy Ed tags in the big Ed. Edd drags him from the corner, sets him up one more time for a Suplex along with Eddy as the Monobrowed Ed stands behind them ready. "Hey, Ed! ALLEY OOP!" Eddy says off-mic, and both he and Edd Double Suplex Ambrose to Ed, who grabs onto his shoulders and instantly plants the Alley Oop!
"Awesome combo by the Eds here! The veterans finally make the comeback here and this was it!" Mike shouts.
With Hector writhing and holding his stomach, Ed hoists him up to his feet, but lets him go as he charges at Reigns, who suddenly takes him down with the Big Boot to the face! Once then, he and the rest of the Hounds start stomping and hammering down until both Edd and Eddy help Ed out with fists of their own to The SHIELD! Things break down once again as Eddy gets Hector along with himself out of the ring; Edd being Suplexed out of the ring by Erik, but stays on the apron, then hitting him with a Hotshot before bouncing off the rope with a Springboard Dropkick; and Ed trying to Chokeslam Reigns, who also is trying to Chokeslam him. This would go on until Reigns drives Ed out of the ring over the top rope along with himself. With Edd and Rollins by themselves in the ring, Edd sprints at Erik, who was in the corner, and executes an Enzuigiri. Erik falls to his knees as Edd sees his comrade, Eddy, having trouble with Ambrose. Edd bounces off the ropes, speeds across the ring, leaps right over the top rope, and onto Hector with a Fosbury Flop! The crowd is going wild and Rollins seems to be the last one in the ring as he saw Edd perform that maneuver. He runs to the ropes, bounces off, heads off across the ring, actually steps onto the ropes, and bounces off the top rope and lands on Edd with the Springboard Somersault Senton!
"First Double D with that amazing Fosbury Flop, now Rollins with the Senton!" Clarissa shouts. "Hell is breaking loose once again!"
As the rest of the champions and the challengers lie outside of the ring, David and Ed were the only ones left in the ring as they already came back in with Ed standing at the corner looking exhausted and Reigns crouches at his side. He sees Ed and immediately speeds at him with a Stinger Splash, but Ed dodges him and rolls him up! He gets the shoulders down: 1, 2...David kicks out at 2.89! Reigns and Ed get back up on their feet, sprint to each other, and CLOTHESLINE each other simultaneously, actually turning themselves inside out! Every last member of both stables were down as "THIS IS AWESOME! *Clap-clap! Clap-clap-clap* THIS IS AWESOME!" chants are being heard in the entire Allstate Arena. Slowly, Ed gets up on all fours and picks David up to throw out of the ring. Then, he steps outside, hoists Hector up, and throws him inside the ring as he is the legal opponent. As soon as Ambrose stood up, Ed grabs him for the Ed Bottom and bellows, "My name is Ed!" before lifting him up...but Ambrose elbows his head to free himself from Ed's grip. He does so and holds Ed's head in a Cravate, going for the Ambrose Cut, but he pushes him off and takes him down as he grabs his legs. He wraps his legs around his own and locks in the Lump Lock (Scorpion Death Lock)!
"The Lump Lock, also known as the Scorpion Death Lock used by Sting—Ed's idol—himself, is being used on Ambrose! He's in the middle of the ring, nowhere to go, and Ed's got the submission locked in tight!" Mike implies.
"This could be the end of The SHIELD's reign if Ambrose taps out to Ed's Lump Lock!" Clarissa proclaims.
With Ed pulling his legs back as far as he can, Hector screams and digs his fingernails into the mat as he wants to crawl to the ropes, but all he could do was shout in pain! Ed, even if he wasn't the smartest, knows The SHIELD couldn't be pinned as he called for desperate measures with the Lump Lock held tight! Ambrose just shakes his head violently when the referee asked him if he wanted to quit, and would feel more pain being shot into his entire spine! He would then start crawling his way, as if trying to dig his fingers into the mat to drag himself towards the ropes. He is already just inches away as his hand is extended out towards the bottom ring rope...VERY close to getting himself a rope break...BUT ED DRAGS HIM BACK...AND SUDDENLY CHANGES THE GAME UP WITH AN INVERTED KNEELING SHARPSHOOTER! With Ed now going full-on Edgecator, Hector actually has NO place to go as he is stuck in the middle of the ring, crying out in absolute agony with his hand shaking intensely! Ed grips the submission tighter and pulls the legs more forward...
...
...
...Hector raises a hand that still shakes intensely...
...
...
...
...
...And David Reigns suddenly drives the Superman Punch into Ed's face, forcing him to release of the Modified Sharpshooter!
"Hector Ambrose was so close to tapping out, but the powerhouse of The SHIELD saved this match up and extends it out a bit more longer!" Mike says.
Ed lies on the mat looking knocked out as Ambrose nurses his back and Reigns helps to the corner so he can get the tag in. Eventually, Hector tags in David and he starts measuring the powerhouse of the Eds up to a vertical base. He looks at his right hand, slowly clenches it into a tight fist, glances at Ed with a grin, and pounds his fist onto the mat à la Roman Reigns, preparing for the Superman Punch again. Ed stands at a vertical base, David runs straight at him, leaps high, and connects the Superman Punch once again!
"SUPERMAN PUNCH BY REIGNS! He takes the Eds' own powerhouse out of the game!" Clarissa exclaims.
"And now he's preparing for the Final Reign. He wants to finish him off right here!" Mike says as David backs into the corner and roars, "OOOOOOWAAAAAAAAAA!" along with the smark crowd.
He stalks Ed from his spot, getting ready once again, this time for the Final Reign. He then sees something at the corner of his eye...and charges at Eddy, who slid back into the ring...and leapfrogs over him, evading the Spear! Reigns turns around and Eddy Dropkicks him out of there. Eddy would then try to help Ed up, but Ambrose hooks him from behind with a Side Headlock and drills his skull down on the mat with the Headlock Driver! Ambrose stands tall with arms splayed...until Edd turns him around, kicks him in the midsection, lifts him up at a vertical base upside-down, and plants him with the Clash of the Eds! Edd then slowly gets up...and receives a Springboard Knee Strike to the side of his skull from Erik! However, he wasn't done as he picks Double D up to his feet, runs back to the ropes, bounces off, and drives his skull face-first onto the mat with the Black Out! Erik beats his chest and flexes his arms out...just before getting a Lump Drop by Ed! The crowd is still going insane as Ed now stands over him and is apparently exhausted from the match overall. He looks down at Rollins...then looks back at the crowd...and a "BONG!" is shouted out as Ed starts pulling off his right elbow pad slowly and throws it to the crowd. "MY NAME IS ED! FEAR ME!" Ed shouts proudly as the fans roar in cheers and swings his arms à la The Rock as he prepares for the People's Elbow—or in this case, the Ed's Elbow! He runs towards the ropes and bounces off to the other—FINAL REIGN, THE SPEAR, BY DAVID REIGNS!
"THE SPEAR CONNECTS! THIS APPARENTLY IS ED'S FINAL REIGN IN THE MATCH UP!" Mike exclaims.
David stands up and gets Erik up this feet as Hector also stands up. All three men look down at Ed and surround him like a pack of wolves with grins on their faces. Ambrose orders Reigns off-mic, "Give Ed...a cruel ironic ending, Reigns." and said man knew exactly what he meant by that. David grabs Ed's head, puts him in a Standing Headscissors as Rollins and Ambrose climb up to the top turnbuckles respectively behind the powerhouse, and Reigns lifts him up onto his shoulders. Erik and Hector stand high and both jump off with a Diving Clothesline by the latter and a Missile Dropkick by the former to Ed and once so, Reigns nails the Sitout Powerbomb, completing the Edquake!
"Adding insult to injury as the Hounds use the Eds' own finisher!" Clarissa states. "This is definitely a cruel ironic ending..."
"But I don't think it's over just yet...they're preparing to serve Ed to Justice," Mike says as Ambrose and Rollins pick Ed up, drapes his arms over their heads, and elevates him.
"OOOOOOWAAAAAAAAAA!" is what Reigns roars as both men places Ed on his shoulders and David holds him up...and they hit the Triple Powerbomb, Justice is Served! David kneels to Ed's side and hooks the leg: 1, 2, 3!
"The SHIELD retain! The Hounds of Justice retain the Trio Tag Titles!" Mike calls as the bell rings.
("Special Op" by Jim Johnston)
"Here are your winners, and STILL the ACW Trio Tag Team Champions, Hector Ambrose, Erik Rollins, and David Reigns, The SHIELD!" Maria declares.
Reigns stands tall over Ed as he bellows loudly, Rollins hollers, "BELIEVE IN THE SHIELD!" and Ambrose snatches the Trio Tag Titles from the official. The SHIELD grab the belts and raise them high as deafening cheers are heard from the smark crowd; they didn't care who won this one, really. What mattered to them was that they wanted to see a fight and they got it. David, Hector, and Erik join fists with belts still raised high and say in unison, "BELIEVE in Justice! BELIEVE...in The SHIELD!" Eddy holds his head in pain as he sees his large friend on the mat after being hit with the Triple Powerbomb, realizing the Eds have lost the match and lowers his head as he curses to himself.
"The Hounds of Justice have accomplished their job tonight by retaining the Trio Tag Championships and staying as the first and only Trio Tag Team Champions," Mike says. "...Do you think that—"
"Yes," Clarissa just answers like nothing.
"Um...alright, then..."
All three SHIELD members soon leave the ring, heading their way to the stage, as Eddy takes this chance to check on the Lump, but even he was still hurting bad. Edd slowly rolls in, holding his head since he got his hit twice by a knee and a foot, and he aids Ed to a seated position. The Hounds all stand together at the stage with fists joining in and grins cracked on their faces, acknowledging themselves in victory.
"The Eds and The SHIELD went to war and the latter wins it all over the former, and I will admit this, this match was—as the fans were chanting—AWESOME," Clarissa implies.
"The Chicago crowd loved it very much, so that says it all," Mike chuckles. "Now it is time for this pre-show to come to a close and open to the official Reign in Blood show! This is Mike 'The Mic' Martin."
"And 'Violet' Clarissa Rivera signing off! We'll see you guys again in the interviews soon!"
The pre-show ends with The SHIELD raising their Trio Tag Belts up high and the Eds lying in pain in and outside the ring just before fading to black...
Man, what a HELL of a pre-show, huh?! XD A clean win by James Griffin, and an amazing Six-Man Tag Match by the Eds and ze Hounds of Justice as the latter successfully defend their titles! XD ...Now why couldn't I put THAT match in the real show? 0_0 ...Eh, no biggie. Would take too much space. XP I would say that match was supremely AWESOME! :D Now, I know most of you didn't expect the Six-Man Tag to be that big...but with Reign in Blood in Chicago, I had to milk it along with ze help of The Wyatt Family vs. The Shield at Elimination Chamber. XD
Make sure to leave a review, guys. They are always appreciated and they make me a happy, happy, happy A1. XD
So until then, mi Awesome Amigos...LATER! :D
