A harrowing breeze swept across the valley of the Tree of Beginning. That breeze shook the smallest of the leaves that tree held. They trembled in the wind, as if in fear of what was below. Indeed, if the tree itself was trembling, it was as if the very world itself feared what was to come. A strong gust snapped one of these leaves from its stem, sending it flying off, away from its life source.

"Zero."

Upon speaking that single word, Nova began to release the firing mechanism of the weapon he pointed at Serena's head. In spite of the man in red forcing Riley down with his boot, he struggled against it, even as his countless injuries harshly chastised him with stings of pain for trying.

But he could sense it. Even despite the foul crystals Nova wore upon his neck, Riley could feel everything around him through the Aura in the roots of the tree, going underneath the mysterious field. He sensed the panic in Mew. The dread in Ash. The shock in Serena. And countless Pokemon within the tree itself.

That was more than enough to give him the strength to rise.

A loud bang rang in Serena's ears, and she felt something impact her. Her muscles seized up. Alongside the ringing in her ears, and that, she thought she was dead. But then, amidst the ringing, she heard screams that shocked her senses back into her. And besides a dull ache in her arm, she felt no pain.

With a gasp, she forced her eyes open. The first thing she saw was Ash's face, and his jaw dropped in horror. Groggily, she pushed herself off the ground to look at what Ash was staring at. And when her eyes landed upon Riley, she felt her blood run cold.

Riley laid face down upon the ground where Serena had just been, blood seeping from his leg. An ominous violet light ate away at that blood and ceased its flow. Like a creeping hand, that light reached up and set upon Riley's limp legs.

Despite the blood and bruises on his face, despite the pain coursing throughout his body, and despite the horrific light that was devouring him, Riley still looked up at Ash, and the vibrant Aura flowing all around him, and smiled.

"You've come so far."

That was all time allowed him to say before he vanished in a plume of violet light. Ash and Serena were left stunned. Their pale faces were frozen stiff, looking helplessly at the empty spot their old friend and mentor had been.

One glance at their faces was too much for Mew to bear. Horrid feelings of guilt welled up in her throat in one painful ball. She hissed and balled up her small fists. It was just the same as always. She was too slow, too hesitant, too selfish to act. And because of that, someone else had died.

A faint, choked wail came from Ash as he found his voice. Before he could scream out for Riley, Mew beat him to it. Her power erupted in a furious bellow that smothered Ash's cries. Pink waves of potent energy shook the earth, making even the tree itself sway.

The waiting soldiers were thrown off of their feet. Even the Black Suits found themselves barely managing to stand. The ones closest to Nova were blown back, save for the ones protected by his field. The hologram of Lee sparked and faded.

In response to this outburst, Nova merely pointed his weapon at Serena once more. He stopped upon noticing a ringing sound coming from the crystals near his throat. Immediately, he pocketed the gun and prioritized turning the notches on his wristwatch.

That sensation of nothingness near Nova's men vanished, although it remained upon the man himself. Without thinking more of it, Mew seized the opportunity to teleport Ash, his companions, and the bag of Pokeballs into the Tree of Beginning.

This merely earned a scoff from Nova. Beside him, a Black Suit brought up his shield, as well as Lee's hologram once more. Lee smirked at Mew's show of force. He glanced around at the absent spot Ash and his friends had been.

Lee chuckled. "Couldn't bear to see the faces of the friends you failed?" A furious snarl was all the response he got. "Of course not. It's not like you to have friends in the first place."

"How's the progress on your end?" Grumbled Nova, keeping a firm eye on Mew.

The hologram glanced off to something beside him. "Charge is at 78% for the Azathoth. The reserve forces are primed and awaiting orders."

Nova gave a small nod. "Prioritize that. I'll handle the ground from here." Lee stared at him for a moment, uncharacteristically silent, before returning the nod.

With the hologram gone, the Black Suit holding it backed away, still trying to remain on his feet against the might of Mew's fury while behind his shield. Nova reached into his coat and brandished the gun against her.

Her raging energy surged all around him, and yet even as it tore apart the ground, something invisible to even Mew's eyes stopped anything from touching him. Unflinching, he pointed his weapon squarely between her glowing eyes and fired.

The bullet impacted a pink barrier in front of her. Her fury became shock when that bullet slowly began drilling into her shield, a violet dust rising from it. At the last moment, Mew abandoned the shield and teleported, leaving the bullet to soar off into the horizon.

Reappearing far above the field of encroaching war, Mew let out a relieved puff of air before glowering down at the enigmatic man. Even this high up, he stared right back at her. This man was unendingly dangerous. With whatever it was that was defending him, it truly seemed like she couldn't touch him.

Her eyes fell upon the mass of soldiers gathered further from the tree than their leader. Those eyes of hers began to glow as an idea struck her. If this man was alone, perhaps she could figure out a way to get him without interruption. It would also stop the coming war. For now, at least.

"This ends now!" Declared Mew, her voice echoing out through the valley.

A light pink glow enveloped soldiers one by one, earning murmurs of uncertainty and gasps of shock. Upon noticing this, Nova began twisting his watch once more. That sensation of void encompassed every single one of his men. As it spread, Mew's light vanished from all it touched, and her efforts to end this by simply teleporting the army away were thwarted.

"It won't be that easy," Spoke Nova up to her. "I have made every possible preparation for this day. The Tree of Life will fall, and you with it."

The Man raised an arm up and snapped his fingers. That signal ushered in the appearance of hundreds of silver rings. On the ground, yet more soldiers piled out from the rings to join with the others. Large armored vehicles the likes of which even Mew had never seen before also came through. Some of which looked like the ones already present. Others were brand new to her.

One more ring appeared at the front of the main force, between them and the small group near Nova. A thick, jet black boot emerged to stomp upon the ground. Beyond that was a raw heap of towering black metal vaguely shaped like a man.

The Burned Man tilted his visor up at the Tree of Beginning, a low, rumbling sigh escaping him. Behind him came a particular team of Black Suits. One of them, a smirk upon his face, elbowed the metal man.

"You excited, Harper? Today, we get to finish what we started on the Elemental Islands."

Harper's only response was to clench his large fist, making the metal grind against itself.

Silver rings dotted the skies at the Nova Corporation's back as well. Over their heads, roaring aircrafts shot out from the portals and into the open sky. Helicopters of all forms and sizes followed after.

But those were not the only things to emerge. From one of the rings, a light pink blur raced out, aiming straight for Mew. She enveloped herself in an orb of pink energy, and in kind, the blur coated itself in a blue one.

The two orbs collided with a thunderous crash, sending a shockwave across the sky. When Mew saw what, or who, was attacking her, she could hardly believe her eyes. A grinning Mewtwo stared back at her, chuckling ecstatically.

"What?!" Cried Mew. "Mewtwo, what are you doing with them?! The tree accepted you, and this is how you repay it?!"

Mewtwo responded with a haughty laugh. "Hah. I suppose that means the tree is a poor judge of character."

Mew's eyes went wide. Her face slowly contorted with growing rage she could not withhold. But before she could strike back at Mewtwo, Nova gave a silent two-fingered signal up at her to fire.

The sky was set alight as every soldier unleashed their weapons upon the Pokemon mother. As endless orange streaks rose up against her like a reverse rainfall, the aircrafts unloaded piercing bullets and missiles aimed at her sides.

With a smirk, Mewtwo wreathed his hand in the energy of a Shadow Ball, plunged it into Mew's orb, grabbed her by the tail and flung her down toward the oncoming hail before warping out of the way.

Sensing the oncoming fire at her back, Mew scoffed in annoyance. Just before anything could strike her, her eyes glowed pink. All at once, the innumerable projectiles threatening to hit her on all sides were frozen by her Psychic powers.

Nova turned another notch on his watch. A chill ran up Mew's spine as the sensation of void raced past her. The light around the bullets and missiles around her faded, and they gradually resumed their onslaught.

As the sky flashed with the light of countless explosions, Mew vanished in a veil of smoke. Streams of rising bullets converged upon that smoke without relent. There was a powerful pulse from within, scattering the oncoming fire.

Shrapnel rained back down upon the battlefield. "Shields up!" Ordered a Black Suit through comms. Each of the soldiers raised their right arm. Upon it, a small, round device that produced a grid like blue field above them. Shards of red hot metal pelted those barriers harmlessly.

From the smoke emerged Mew, nary a mark upon her fur. Despite this, her face was wrinkled in frustration. "I truly did not want this situation to come to this," Announced Mew, her voice ringing out over the battlefield. "I wanted this to be resolved peacefully. Unfortunately, you appear to disagree."

Her small paw balled up as she clenched her fist. "But," She began, a shimmering light welling up in that fist, "I won't just lay down and die either. If it's a fight you want.."

Turning back, Mew flicked her arm down and threw the light in her palm toward the ground. Upon touching it, that light expanded out and upward. It rose skyward around the branches of the tree until the entire tree was shielded by a colossal dome barrier.

"…Then you've got one."

Despite saying this, merely looking down upon the gathered soldiers marching through the valley to the tree reminded Mew of times long past. Memories of the tree's surroundings bathed in ashes flashed across her vision. She winced and shook her head to dispel that memory.

"It will be different this time," She told herself.

Orange light surged within her hands. Noticing this, Nova reached for his comms on a coat pocket and simply ordered, "Disperse."

The men and vehicles departed from one another, spreading out into groups. Near Nova himself, Thorn and the nearby Black Suits made a mad dash from him. He snapped his fingers at the six men in red, and they fled at inhuman speeds.

Nova was alone. Mew raised an eyebrow at this, wondering what he was planning. Whatever it was, she wasn't going to give him the chance. Bringing her hands together, she unleashed a colossal Hyper Beam down upon him, attempting to bring an end to this before it could truly begin.

Watching its approach, Nova merely let out a breath and reached for a canister within his coat. From it, he took a single cigarette, then placed the canister back inside. When the beam struck him, the resulting flames bent around him to prevent even a flicker from touching him.

He reached out and touched the tip of the cigarette with those flames to light it, then placed it between his teeth. With one finger he drew a line across the air, taking the flames with it. Mew's jaw slowly dropped as she watched Nova collect the beam into one small orb above his index. And with one snap of his finger, Mew's attack was completely dispersed without a trace.

"It won't be easy to kill me either." Nova looked down at the glowing black crystal upon his neck, then gripped it tightly. "Not after last time."

Mew raised an eyebrow at him. What had he meant by 'last time?' She had no recollection of meeting this man. Nor could she simply read his mind with that odd grafted mess of a crystal on his necklace.

Her train of thought came to an end when a Shadow Ball narrowly whizzed past her face from above. As she looked up, she was impacted by Mewtwo who grabbed onto her arms as they spiraled down. Losing patience, Mew prepared to simply blast him away with Dark Pulse until she noticed something in his eyes.

They were a stark yellow color. Had they always been that way? "Are you…?"

Mewtwo summoned two Shadow Balls in his arm, using them to launch her skyward. "Take her down."

Upon hearing the order from Mewtwo in their heads, the pilots of the jets soaring about turned their weapons upon the stunned Mew. A lingering distaste still perturbed the pilots.

"Why do we have to take orders from a Pokemon?" One of them wondered.

Lee's voice came through their receiver. "Endure it for now. It is the order of Nova."

Despite their lingering doubt, the pilots collectively sighed as they prepared to carry out their orders. Their targeting systems beeped as, one by one, their reticles locked on to Mew.

As Mewtwo created and unleashed an onslaught of Shadow Balls up after Mew, dark energy surged within small cannons on the underside of the jets. Each one of them sent out pulses of raw dark energy in waves.

Tossing the Shadow Balls away, Mew halted the approach of the others rising at her from below. When she noticed the black waves approaching, she tried to halt them as well. When her Psychic hold had no effect, her eyes widened.

"Those are Dark-Type?!"

The waves impacted her, cutting off her Psychic energy and allowing the Shadow Balls to proceed. They impacted her much more ferociously than any of the bullets had, and her inherent weakness to the attack did not help either. She blew away the smoke with one flap of her tail, revealing her slightly singed fur.

Her eye twitched in response to jeering laughter from Mewtwo. Above his head, he held an utterly colossal Shadow Ball and grinned down at her. "Are those burns on your fur I see? Oh, Mew, it seems you've lost your touch. To think Rayquaza and I had such trouble with you before."

He pulled back his arm, hurling the massive attack down at her as he shouted, "Now, even this sorry vessel's state is enough!"

Mew did little more than glower at the attack as it descended upon her. When it made contact, Mewtwo's face fell when the attack split in two and faded. Mew flicked her metal-coated tail through the air to return it to normal, then scoffed up at him.

"Don't get cocky. You're a few billion years off from beating me, even with help."

In a flash, she was upon him. He hardly had the time to widen his eyes before her tail was around his neck. Even as he gasped for air, he was grinning at her with an unsettling toothy smirk. Something in his eyes caught her own. Had they always been so…yellow?

More dark waves from the jets made her unable to think on it further. With a flick of her tail, she sent Mewtwo down into one of the pulses and warped away. When it struck him, the dark energy wreathed his body, making him cry out in shock. With his Psychic energy cut off, he no longer had the means to float, and began spiraling down into the valley below.

When Mew reappeared further up, she clicked her tongue in thought. "That's twice he canceled out my Psychic powers," She mused, glancing down at Nova. Even still, he stared right back at her despite the distance between them. Her gaze drifted away from him and toward his men that were marauding about the valley approach.

"If I can't get to him, and he knows how to stop Psychic powers, then…"

As the soldiers marched, one of them stopped when a raindrop struck their shoulder. They touched the area and looked at their wet glove, then turned their attention toward the sky. At an unnatural pace, rain clouds appeared to simply generate out of certain parts of the air until the sun itself became blotted out.

"Shields up!" Came a voice from their receivers, and so the soldiers obeyed. In the darkness of the coming storm, only the lights from those projected barriers was present to ward off the dark.

Not even the barrier around the Tree of Beginning seemed to emit light any longer. Nor did the tree itself behind that barrier. It became so dark and foggy that each soldier could scarcely see two feet in front of them without the light of one another's shields. Almost nothing could be seen. It was only the growing storm and the hordes of soldiers holding steady against it.

From the black above came the first of many raindrops. Upon landing on the shoulder pad of a soldier, there was a sizzle. They glanced at the area, befuddled by the smoke the raindrop produced. As more drops fell, that hissing noise filled the air. Screams of panic soon rang out as they realized what was raining down upon them was not mere rain, but acid.

"Remember the briefings!" Instructed that voice once more. "We have strength in unity. Come what may, our training has prepared you for-"

An immense flash of light blinded many of the soldiers. Many screams rang out as their retinas were pierced by that light like a flaming knife. Following that was a thunderous boom that shook the soldiers inside and out, even through their shields.

One soldier, a young, clean shaven man, wiped the rain from his burning eyes, frantically looking around to see what had happened. His eyes landed upon an area sparking with electricity. Such sparks ran across the field, scorching the ground they touched black.

Greater sparks were ravaging the shields of the unfortunate soldiers nearby, their arms trembling as they continued to hold their shields. If they faltered, even for a moment, even one spark could end them.

The young soldier glanced up into the dark, stormy sky, noticing another light above him. He caught only a glance of it before it was upon him. In an instant, he vanished amidst a second flash of light.

Far, far above, Mew tried her best to push the sensation of vanishing life forces out of her mind. "I tried to spare you all, but you wouldn't accept it!" She cried, as if anyone could hear her over the storm she produced.

Lightning coagulated upon the tips of her fingers. She pointed to the sky, releasing a colossal bolt of potent lightning into the dark clouds. The result was that lightning crawling through the storm as it expanded, before more lightning fell upon the earth with enough frequency and potency to fry even the rain.

Screams rang out across the battlefield as that lightning pelted the soldiers. Barely, their shields withstood at least one bolt when it came crashing down upon them. But their arms, attempting to hold back that force, were struggling to keep up.

Nova stood amidst the falling lightning with a vacant expression hidden behind the darkness of his glasses. Over his head, lightning crackled in the clouds. It fell upon him in only a fraction of a second, and yet, just before it could touch him, the bolt froze as if time had stopped around it.

Calmly, Nova walked out from underneath the bolt, letting it crash into the ground once he was out of harm's way. "Air team," He called into his receiver, "Cloud Nine Formation."

"Roger."

Many of the jets parted from the area, flying just outside of the valley and out of harm's way. A key few flew closely to one another, turning their noses down as they gradually shifted course to a nosedive.

They took the force of their momentum to soar back up just before they could impact the ground, at which point they began to spiral up toward the clouds around one another. Their cannons fired orbs of glistening water through the rain and into the clouds, and before touching those clouds, pulled back and began shooting more orbs diagonally across the sky.

Each orb sent a pulse through the clouds, disturbing their flow. Where the rings of each pulse touched, the rain ceased to flow. Soon after, the last light of the lightning fizzled out within the clouds as well.

A soldier with a sharp mustache near Nova gasped with relief, letting his weary arms and shield fall. However, as

he eyed the dark skies, he became wary. "The clouds are still there. Did the formation fail?"

Nova hummed thoughtfully. "The storm itself is gone. That is enough." As he eyed the clouds, he added, "Perhaps this could be fortunate for later."

Many curious and tepid Pokemon, sensing the danger that had crept near their home, emerged from holes along the sides of the Tree of Life to watch the battle. Hundreds of thousands of Pokemon beheld the unfolding battle with trepidation in their hearts. Even the proudest of Pokemon, such as Steelix or Haxorus, felt chills in their bones watching the mother of all Pokemon face such oppressions.

Still high atop the tree, Pikachu was left in shock as he watched the battle. He of all Pokemon had seen his fair share of battles, many of which endangered the world, but sensing the source of all life in danger as it was simply made him sick.

Pikachu shook his head and slapped his red checks to snap himself out of it. Above all else, he needed to find Ash. Amidst the ferocity of the battle happening just in front of him, what had become of his oldest friend? Deciding that merely wondering about it was no longer enough, he turned away from the fight and began running, looking for a way down.

Far below, atop a branch densely packed with Pokemon, a small, frail Ralts squeezed through the horde he found himself in on all sides until finally he was met with the edge. With the dark clouds blotting out most light, it was almost impossible to see anything. Yet still, he could sense how ferociously Mew fought. For him, and for all Pokemon she protected.

"Mew…"

Mew stared up at the stormless clouds with awe. "They can even change the weather? What in the world?" Her gaze, darkened with intent, lowered onto the gathered humans still scrambling to recuperate. "These people…" A pink glow covered her body. "…Are more dangerous than I thought."

In a flash, she disappeared. One unfortunate soldier saw only a pink light before his shield was knocked from his hands. He hardly had the time to scream before he vanished amidst that same pink light.

Unnerved, the surrounding soldiers murmured to one another. Those closest to her fell prone, aiming up at her and firing. To Mew, the speed of a bullet may as well have been a Slowpoke when the situation was under her control. Casually, she bobbed and weaved between the streams of bullets coming her way.

Gradually, she flew higher and higher into the air, just above their lines of fire as she continued to evade. One Black Suit, noting her altitude, pulled up his transceiver. "Excelus units thirty-nine and forty, Dark-Type on target."

On his command, two nearby vehicles began to whir. They were odd-looking trucks, carrying large discs behind the driver seats. Those discs tilted up until they faced Mew. Dark energy emerged in a ring shape along the discs' edges until a large, pulsating dark wave was launched from them.

Mew's attention was taken from the bullets and to the approaching waves. "This again?"

She warped below it to let it pass harmlessly. Above, one of the jets fired a single shot upon it. It impacted the dark waves, causing them to evaporate behind Mew in a black mass of mist.

Wincing as the mist enveloped her, Mew could feel herself beginning to fall once her Psychic powers were cut off. A Black Suit below crouched onto one knee and aimed a spear gun up into the cloud. Its sharp, clean edge shined even underneath the dark overcast.

It fired so forcefully that the Black Suit had to roll back to accommodate the recoil. The spear penetrated the dark cloud, dispersing it on contact. Its rapidly spinning tip drilled through the air as it closed in upon Mew. One flick of Mew's Iron Tail shattered the spear, sending its remnants clattering onto the ground below.

The Black Suit's face fell. An unamused-looking Mew narrowed her eyes at him. In an instant, she was in front of him. As he raised his shield in defense, it was almost immediately smacked out of his hand with her tail.

He was sent flying by an impact to his rib he could not see. Dozens of soldiers were knocked off their feet by his passing body. He attempted to roll back to his feet and, noticing a large, pointed stone, shot a wire from a machine on his wrist to pull him toward it and reposition.

As he swerved around the stone, a sudden pain flared up in his chest. That pain grew until it became unbearable, and he cried out, falling onto his face. He clutched his chest in agony. Only now did he realize just how much damage he had actually taken.

Mew flipped forward in the air and slammed her tail into the ground with thunderous force. Cries of panic from the soldiers rang out as the ground underneath their feet suddenly sank into earth.

The splintered ground far below was like an open maw ready to consume the unfortunate souls falling in. That maw reddened, and when Mew raised her open palm to the sky, an Earth Power attack erupted out like a volcano.

Chunks of molten stone spewed out, pelting the falling soldiers. Colossal, red hot boulders fell from the sky onto the battlefield. Those who raised their shields against them instead of fleeing out of harm's way were crushed in an instant.

Those were the lucky ones. Others were coated in smaller flaming material and ash. They cried out in agony as their armor was burned through. No matter how they pried at their layers, it was never fast enough to prevent them from falling victim to Mew's savage attack.

Their screams gave Mew a brief pause. In her mind, she could feel their panic and terror as their lives came to an end. Quickly, she dispelled those thoughts. "They asked for this," She reminded herself. "They refused to let me solve this peacefully. Better them then…"

Her eyes wandered toward the tree. Seeing all the Pokemon gathered upon the branches made her gasp slightly. They were watching this; seeing, with their own eyes, the savagery with which she dealt with her enemies.

A soldier braved the fire and smoke to run toward the edge of the chasm. Seeing the distracted Mew, he placed a black bullet into the chamber of his rifle and took aim. But before he could pull the trigger, the unstable ground beneath his feet gave way, and he cried out in panic as he began falling into the chasm.

Hearing his cry, Mew's attention snapped to the soldier. Upon seeing him slide helplessly into the flaming abyss, she acted without thinking. Her small hand grasped the back of his suit collar and pulled him back to the edge.

"Are you alright?"

Those words simply came to her. She hadn't even thought of the implication of her actions. In that moment, she had briefly forgotten the unfolding war, only seeing someone in danger.

That soldier scrambled away from her, back onto his feet. Before she could stop him, he brandished a handgun and fired at her. Though the bullet merely bounced off of her barrier, it stung more than any blow thus far.

The edges of her mouth wrinkled. When the soldier tried firing at her again, his weapon clicked. He eyed it oddly and went to check his ammunition, only to notice a pink glow around the gun. Suddenly, he was dragged back over the edge by that light and flung down into the chasm where hot magma awaited to swallow him whole.

Slowly, Mew raised her hand to the sky. "You tried, Mew," She told herself, "You really did." Then, she snapped her fingers, and warped away.

Reappearing over the battlefield, Mew raised her arms to the sky. Punching their way down through the clouds, hundreds of flaming stones fell from beyond. Those stoned joined with the Earth Power to shower the soldiers in a devastating Draco Meteor attack.

With that, the entire valley was set alight. Where the Nova Corporation had just been on the offensive, they were suddenly forced into a helpless defense. It became impossible to aim at Mew with the endless clouds of dust and smoke filling the air.

As the jets tried shooting down the meteors before they could strike the ground troops, one of them found their wing clipped off by a falling star. They were sent spiraling down until they crashed upon the very soldiers they were trying to save.

Amidst this chaos, Nova glanced down at his watch in contemplation. As his hand slowly reached for one of the notches. A meteor nearly struck him before it was annihilated by something invisible. Nova then shook his head and lowered his arm without even touching the watch.

"Recall the briefings," He ordered into his transceiver. "We prepared for this. Do not let a mere beast divide you."

Many of the soldiers stopped in their tracks after hearing that. Looking to one another, the soldiers began standing shoulder to shoulder and held their barriers high. Though the pelting of the falling stones upon their shields made their arms nearly buckle, together, they were able to withstand it.

From on high, Mew watched the soldiers begin piling into groups to survive. "You're smart, but that won't save you."

She took off in a blur. Round and round in the air, she spun, gathering wind with her. As she soared, the wind around her shaped into a cone. Nearby soldiers looked around in confusion as something began pulling them.

Shredding, torrential winds, grew faster and faster until a colossal Twister attack had formed. It stretched all the way to the black clouds far above. For the soldiers, it was almost impossible to see the Twister with their own eyes. Between the dust and smoke clouding their vision, and the sounds of molten rock and meteors crashing down all around them, the disoriented soldiers barely knew they were already dead until they were lifted off of their feet.

By the hundreds, the helpless soldiers were ravaged by the tornado. Even as they tried to flee, the falling stones would knock them off of their feet and, in spite of how desperately they dug their nails into the dirt, were taken in by the vortex regardless.

As the soldiers fled, many Black Suits shot themselves near the tornado with their hook wires before each tossing in a round, silver disc. Upon contact with the ground, those discs erupted. The ice mines detonated with such potency that frost crawled up the Twister and froze it solid within seconds.

Nova brandished his handgun and aimed it up at the frozen pillar piercing the sky. His weapon trained upon the smallest, faintest shadow within halfway up the pillar before firing.

The air itself sizzled as the bullet's destructive nature ate away at it in a gleam of purple dust. And yet, when it struck its target, a greater force emerged to combat it. The ice-coated pillar fell away as a massive pulse of Psychic energy erupted from it.

In a flash of pink light, the sky was cleared. Falling meteors and volcanic stones were erased without a trace. Smoke, dust, and ash that filled the air were cleared by a potent shockwave. Even the bullet, holding the destructive power of Necrozma within, was itself laid to waste by Mew's attack.

Nova shifted in place slightly, holding onto his weapon tightly in wait for when Mew came into view once more. And yet, all became still. There was a distinct absence of raging winds and deafening crashes from falling stones. Little more than a light breeze filled the air as the surviving soldiers regained their composure and rose back to their feet.

Above the dense clouds, Mew let out a sigh. She looked down with concern at a slight singe on her fur near her chest and said, "That was close. If I let that dust spread, it would have been bad." As her eyes fell back down to the clouds, peering through them at the enigmatic man who stared right back at her, she wondered what in the world he was using.

An idea struck her. "Perhaps one target is too easy for them. But…" With a devious smirk crawling up her mouth, she used Double Team. Dozens of clones appeared all around her from her body, and each of them were cast in light as their forms warped in shape.

From the clouds descended the guardian of the skies, Rayquaza. This alone sent a wave of unease through the soldiers' numbers. When they took aim at the new enemy, another flew down beside it. The rainbow-hued wings of Ho-oh flapped elegantly as it lowered itself beside Rayquaza.

And they were far from alone. Reshiram and Zekrom, wreathed in fire and lightning, revealed themselves as well. Then, it was the titanic form of the guardian of balance, Zygarde, dwarfing its compatriots in size. Following them, Articuno and Moltres accompanied Lugia down from the black overcast.

The sight of the flaming bird made a certain armored man clench his giant hand, his breath escaping him. "Easy, big guy," One of his old partner Black Suits told him, "You'll have your chance."

Dialga, too, lowered itself from the clouds. The lord of time paused to look back up, then bowed its head. Encased in a brilliant golden glow, none other than Arceus himself followed his son. His red glare sent chills up the spines of whoever dared to meet his gaze.

"C-commander!" Came the stuttering voice of a wounded lieutenant to Nova. "We weren't expecting the rest of the pantheon this early! What do we do?!"

The enigmatic man took in a long breath. "Don't take everything at face value, lieutenant. Especially when Mew's involved." He reached for his transceiver and spoke into it. "Continue to use Dark-Type ammunition. Don't bother switching just yet."

Atop the branches of the Tree of Beginning, the Pokemon instinctively began running back toward its interior. Many were grabbed by the Flying-Type Pokemon as they soared toward the ground far, far below. A befuddled Shaun was pushed back by the surrounding Pokemon, and despite his protests, he was dragged back inside by the crowd.

"Hear me."

Arceus's powerful voice boomed throughout the valley and its skies, buckling the legs of many of the soldiers as their wills were tested by the strength of his words alone.

"You are foolish to have come here. To attack the Tree of Life is to attack yourselves. To incur the wrath of Mew is to incur death. And to provoke the ire of the Legends will mean worse."

The Alpha and his children began descending once more, gradually lowering themselves toward the soldiers. "However, should you choose to leave and never return, your actions will be forgiven. I understand that these are pressing times, and that you-"

"Open fire," Ordered Nova.

Hails of bullets, coated in a black aura, intercepted the Legends on their way down and put an end to their leader's speech. Arceus and his entourage recoiled to shield themselves. Many of them bellowed down at the horde in fury and parted from one another to evade.

"FOOLS!" Arceus roared. "YOUR ARROGANCE IS YOUR DEMISE!"

As one, the gathered Legends fell upon the earth. Their might scoured the unfortunate souls close to them, and try as they might, the soldiers could not hope to withstand the combined force of their godlike enemies. Their shields crumpled like paper against a wall of elements that emerged to crush them.

Nova spoke into his transceiver, "Do not focus on any individual one of them. Spread your fire evenly. Let there be no room for them to evade."

As the black bullets pelted the Legends, they shrieked. In order to avoid contact with the hail, they gradually were split from one another. Surrounded by soldiers, Lugia and Articuno thrashed their wings against the hordes in an attempt to bat them away.

Moltres pulled back its head, red flames flaring up within its beak. Its vision flashed white as a sudden pain struck its face, eliciting an enraged shriek from the disoriented bird. Blinded, it retaliated by batting its wing against whatever had assaulted it.

There was a loud clang of metal. Moltres wondered if it had hit one of the enemy's vehicles until it laid eyes upon some inane mixture of a tank and a man in thick black armor. Harper clasped Moltres's wing tightly and pulled the bird toward him, a bright white flame raging within the closed palm of his other hand.

When the Burned Man drove his burning fist into Moltres's chest, he let out a bestial cry that echoed out over the battlefield loud enough to catch even the attention of the other Legends. On contact, there was a thunderous eruption of flame.

Harper stumbled forward within the flames as Moltres's weight suddenly disappeared. Swiping the fire away with his arm, he looked at where his nightmare had just been, only finding the lingering flickers of Moltres's own fire. He knelt down, attempting to grasp that fire in his hand, only for it to fade just as he reached for it.

At a loss for what to do, Harper cried out in dismay and returned to his feet to look around for where the bird of flame had gone. His voice quivered into little more than meaningless sputters as he turned his head in all directions, ignoring the bird of ice and Lugia right in front of him to find where Moltres had gone.

"They are not real," Came the voice of Nova through the transceivers of all on the battlefield. "These are just more of Mew's tricks."

Arceus raised his head to the sky and bellowed as golden energy congregated above his forehead. A spiral of light was raptured into the clouds above. Yet another rain came down from them, but not one of water. Endless streams of gleaming arrows were cast down upon the valley in a fatal Judgment attack.

Following him, his Legends joined in on the attack. A cascade of wind, fire, lightning, and more washed over the battlefield as their collective attacks rained havoc. Although the soldiers followed their orders and continued to fire with Dark-Type ammunition, it was difficult to land even a single shot with droves of elemental chaos swarming their vision.

The violet flames of Reshiram's Dragon Breath barraged the shields of any soldier unfortunate enough to be in her path. Frustrated, one of them briefly glanced down at their ammo case and entertained the idea of swapping to a Dragon-Type bullet for his rifle until a voice came from his transceiver.

"Stick to Dark ammunition. Do not be fooled. Mew can utilize any move it wants." There was a brief pause and static on the other end. Nova continued. "Those closest to the Legends, aim skyward. The rest of you, continue applying suppressive fire."

Although unsure of what he meant by those orders, those closest to the Legends turned their fire upward into the sky.

Although the Legends seemed perturbed at first, they were not given the opportunity to ruminate as more bullets flew their way.

That which was fired skyward shot into the air before suddenly colliding with a screen within the air itself. It was hardly visible, only appearing when struck. Behind that screen was a grinning Mewtwo, scuffs of dirt upon his body, but otherwise unharmed.

"Reflect, and…" He brought up a hand encased in an eerie crimson glow. "COUNTER!" Upon smashing his hand down onto the screen, the red glow spread throughout until it burst. Each of the bullets, encased in that same glow, were sent careening back toward the ground.

Shrieks rang out from the Legends as their flesh was pierced by the empowered shots, like a hellish hail. And yet no blood was drawn. The visages of the Legends gradually faded with strike dealt to them until they simply faded altogether. All, save for Arceus.

Against the falling rain of bullets, Arceus craned back his head and bellowed. The sheer force of his voice was like a shockwave that annihilated the unfortunate souls closest to him and sent many more flying off of their feet.

From the dust, Arceus, clad in an orb of golden light, focused his sight squarely upon the enigmatic man draped in shadow. His eyes burning brightly, Arceus raced toward Nova with streaks of golden light spiraling into an orb in front of his head.

And to this, Nova took one finger, placed it on the grafted crystal on his necklace, and swiped it through Arceus's body. The Alpha was still for but a brief moment, like time around him had completely frozen, before his shape warped and distorted until it shattered into naught but light.

Between the specks of glittering gold was a stunned Mew, her eyes wide with shock. Nova twisted a notch on his watch and Mew winced as the sensation of void crawled past her skin once more.

All around her, the sights and sounds of war crawled to a halt. The stomping and cries of battle from the soldiers, the hail of bullets from the sky, the very wind and skies themselves. All of them fell still and silent, like time itself had stopped.

Mew attempted to glance over at the soldiers off to her side, only to find that her head would not move. Nor would her eyes. Again, she tried to twitch her arms and her legs, but to no avail. Even teleportation would not work. She couldn't move. She couldn't blink. She couldn't breathe. Just barely, she was able to retain her thoughts.

And though her body was stuck in place, her frozen eyes remained wide enough to witness the one man who continued moving. Nova, his crystal necklace glowing dimly, took a soundless step toward her.

"Enough games, Mew," He spoke bluntly, brandishing his weapon against her. Pointing the gun straight between her eyes, he pulled the trigger.

Even with the hands of time bound, Mew managed to tremble against its hold in response to the click. Sparks of violet electricity crawled along the barrel as Mew raged at her invisible bindings.

Her eyes, unable to be given the luxury of blinking, were focused solely upon the man before her. The glow of the crystal hanging from his neck caught her attention. Rather, it did not allow her to look away.

Something about that crystal, and this overwhelming feeling of nothingness, itched at her mind. There was something so familiar, so dreadful about it that had caught her gaze and refused to let go. She heard cries ringing from that crystal. Cries that bounced around in her head like a pounding drum. Cries that we're familiar to her.

They were the cries of her dying children she had failed. Flashes of ebony claws and howling, hollow laughter appeared in her vision as she helplessly stared into the black crystal. Visions of her children being torn to pieces by a monster, while she had done nothing.

In that crystal, she saw the demon that had descended upon their world, Necrozma.

A potent pink energy sent waves across the frozen world. Mew's body was set alight, and with a fearsome bellow, she shattered the world's stasis. A potent pink pulse was loosed from her body, erasing the soldiers caught within the blast.

Nova recoiled, but kept his gun trained upon Mew even as the pulse surrounded him. It bent and twisted away from his body, and yet his crystal whined in response to the energy of the Pokemon Goddess. He fired into the pink light, eating away at it where the bullet flew.

A red-eyed Mew narrowly warped out of harm's way, allowing the bullet to pass. It pierced the air as it flew until finally hitting another mark. The barrier around the tree. Upon bouncing off the barrier, the bullet, bereft of its glow, fell harmlessly down onto the dirt below.

Where it had struck, the light comprising the barrier began to shimmer and churn until a glimmering violet speck floated away from it. Two more followed suit, then six, and then twenty. Slowly, that violet light ate away at the barrier. The Pokemon on the other side chittered anxiously amongst one another as the violet specks crawled along the shield's walls, and yet, Mew paid it no mind.

"That crystal," She growled. "It's that monster's, isn't it?" Her eyes, burning red as the screams of her children still rang in her mind without end, narrowed upon Nova and the accursed rock around his neck. "Couldn't leave well enough alone, could you? You couldn't have simply left it in the past?"

Nova gave no visible reaction to her question, instead merely replying, "So you figured that much out. Curious. You appear to recognize it, yet our scouts never reported your presence in that war."

Mew's skin crawled with irritation. Her teeth gnashed and she balled her small hands into fists that trembled with rage. "You…!"

Unable to bear the sight of the man wielding Necrozma's remnants any longer, Mew teleported high into the air. "I have endured your presence long enough!"

Glints of light appeared in the sky like stars underneath the clouds. Winds rushed to those glints as the very matter around them was dragged to their center. Those glints of light grew larger, becoming superheated dust before growing into orbs of raw energy.

Those orbs began to spiral higher into the air as Mew soared around them at blitzing speeds that reddened the sky with heat. As Nova witnessed this, he could have sworn he saw the double helix of DNA in the pattern of orbs.

When those two streaks collided, they bent the very sky around them. The orbs coalesced into a colossal one that gleamed like the cosmos itself. It was akin looking into a microcosm of the very universe.

Slowly, Nova brought up his transceiver to his mouth. "Lee? What's the charge at?"

"Ninety-seven."

"Understood. I will do what I can on my end." He turned a notch on the transceiver, then gave an order. "All aerial units, vacate the valley until further notice."

"Roger."

On his order, the vast array of aircrafts, circling around Mew like angry hornets, suddenly turned away from her. The jets bolted over the horizon in mere seconds, with the helicopters slowly hovering after them.

The completed orb hung in the empty air above Mew's head. A panting Mew stared into its cosmic glow and winced at the memory of Palkia. She shook her head to rid herself of the sound of his scream, then grit her teeth.

"Your time has run out! Genesis Supernova!"

"Shields up, men."

Psychic energy wreathed her hands in a violet glow. She pulled back her arms, then slammed the palms of her hands into the orb to send it careening toward the ground.

Cries of terror rose up from the soldiers as they brought up their shields in a vain defense against the attack. Nova stared up into the cosmic abyss that descended upon him, responding by pointing his weapon up at it in defiance and firing.

As the bullet cleaved through the cosmic mass, it bent and twisted, yet it was not destroyed. The energy collapsed on itself, becoming robbed of its light as its mass grew in its stead until it burst. Dark streaks fell upon the battlefield, and though shields were raised against them, it made no difference.

All who found themselves taken in by the darkness instinctively felt something had gone wrong in the core of their being. They looked down at their bodies as they withered away. Their DNA, the very genesis of their existence, was slowly being reduced to violet dust. They could only scream as their bodies lost form and structure, slowly melting away through the gaps in their armor.

But Mew did not stop with merely that. The moment the streaks of Genesis Supernova petered out, she coated every inch of her body in Psychic energy. That energy generated friction upon itself, growing hotter and hotter by the second until she was entombed in a blinding blaze.

The flames of her rapidly growing ire burned savagely. Soldiers who had, moments before, watched their comrades dissolve before their very eyes now had to steel themselves against a hellish heat bearing down on them. Before long, it was as if a second sun had formed underneath the clouds.

No. Beyond that, if what had just struck them earlier was the cosmos, then what currently hung over their heads was nothing short of the Big Bang itself. Although where that had been the origin, this most certainly spelled the end. As it only continued to grow, the soldiers found their wills tested.

Even shade from the colossal branches of the Tree of Life offered no respite from the heat of the Pokemon Goddess's wrath. In that shade, the myriad of Pokemon gasped in horror. Never had they seen their divine mother so furious. Without the barrier, what would become of them? Did she know the shield was gone?

Those Pokemon cried out to Mew in terror, pleading with her to stop. But their cries did not reach her. They could not match the level of anguish from Mew's fallen children that rang in her mind without end, only seeming to grow louder and louder as the fiery orb grew.

Her shoulders heaved up and down with each weighted breath, taking in the fiery mass around her. It was blinding and deafening. She could see nor hear anything else within the flames around her except for what that accursed crystal had afflicted her with.

There was only one solution. She had to purge them all. What remained of Necrozma, and those who continued to use it to endanger the world. Not one of them could be left alive for the sake of the world, and for all of her children who lived in it.

"BEGONE FROM THIS PLACE!" Her thunderous voice rang out even amidst the hissing of the heat in the air. "YOUR KIND HAVE TRIED TO DESTROY THE TREE OF BEGINNING TIME AND TIME AGAIN, BUT NO LONGER!"

"Lee?" Inquired Nova.

Fingers rapidly typed away on the control boards of a vessel. On those boards, a number, and a bar, steadily rose. Christopher Lee watched the number '99' on his own panel with narrowed eyes and a sweaty brow.

"Just a smidge away."

Nova glanced down at the crystal on his chest and gripped it tightly. "We only have one chance at this stage. It's this, or it's nothing."

Mew raised her arms, ushering the orb of flame to rise above her head. "YOU. ALL OF YOU." Her eyes were red and blinded with hatred, crimson dust from burning tears flying from their edges. "BURN!"

And in response, Nova spoke into his transceiver. "Now."

From the sky, a colossal streak of red light shot through the clouds and split them open to reveal an utterly gargantuan vessel floating in the sky, a titanic, smoking railgun cannon sticking out from its underside. Faster than even Mew could perceive, it pierced straight through the flaming orb and, with no barrier in its path, impacted the tree.

"The Azathoth Gunship is at your command," Announced a smirking Lee with a chortle. "Looks like scrapping Necrozma's ship was well worth the effort."

Deep groans shook the valley as the Tree of Beginning swayed back and forth. Comparatively small branches were jettisoned from it where they rained down onto the valley outskirts. The Pokemon gathered along the ground just beneath the tree all cried out in terror as the ground beneath them trembled and splintered in response to the tree's movement.

Mew hung in the air without moving, her eyes wide and jaw slack. She was still, as if paralyzed when the tree, half of her life force, was stricken. And in this state of shock, she was woefully unaware of the fact that her attack, destabilized by the shot running through it, was now on the verge of collapse.

It exploded like a miniature supernova just above her head, consuming her in her defenseless state. The explosion wracked the top of the Tree of Beginning. There was a blinding flash of light that bent the tree's shape backward. The groans of bending wood that filled the air became loud, booming cracks.

A single fracture divided the Tree of Life nearly in twain down the middle until just above its center. Many of its branches, doused in primordial flames, rained down amidst

the mountain ranges surrounding the valley of the Tree of Life.

Mercifully, the ivory-sheened branches just over the heads of the Pokemon held steady. And Mew, from within the flaming sky, fell with them. Down, down, into the fissure that split the tree she fell until even Nova could no longer see her.

Immediately, there was a change in the feeling of the air. The color of the sky. The life within the ground. The world itself. Everything seemed to lose a slight shade of color, and the air became a bit harder to breathe. That sensation gradually passed over the valley like a wave before going onward past the horizon.

Some of the men put hands to their throats as they noticed this. Their legs wobbled as their bodies reacted to this small, yet noticeable, change in life itself. And for a moment, a key few of these men turned dazed, questioning glances to their leader, as if he would have some way to ease this feeling.

The Man let out a long breath before standing upright once more. "Men!" He shouted loudly up into the valley's bright sky. "Today, we have fulfilled the legacies of countless men and women who failed where we succeeded! And today, we will go far beyond any of them could dream!"

He planted one foot forward, beginning the march toward the Tree of Life, and raised his fists. "What you feel is not the loss of life, but the first step of mankind toward its future."

He lowered his arm, pointing toward the tree ahead. Gathered beneath its remaining branches was an army of powerful Pokemon, shaken, but more ready than ever to defend what remained of their home.

"Men!" Shouted Nova. "Our biggest hurdle is conquered, but it was not the only one. Stand tall once more…" Six men, clad in red, surrounded their master again as he prepared to take the next step toward humanity's future. "And break the gilded cage that binds us."

Author's Note

Pokextinction Fact of the Day: Aura, as a worldly force, is life essence at its heart. Anyone can wield it with enough training.

However, Ash's pure white Aura, given to him by "Aura" itself, is different. Where Aura like Riley's was blue and Zero's was a wild and uncontrollable red, both of those are concerned with the essence of life.

Ash's Aura comes from a much more primal source, from a life form far more alien than anything in Ash's world. It would be more apt to call Ash's version of Aura "Matter" rather than "Life" since Aura is present even within nonliving things. Aura is what gave all things form after all.

Could this be a reason why he's felt so alienated from the rest of the world? Are his feelings his own? Or are they Aura's?

The Creator- At last, the gilded cage begins to break. Mankind has delivered the first strike against Pokemon, but I wonder who will emerge victorious? With Mew seemingly out for the count, and Nova in command of so many powerful forces, can the Pokemon of the Tree of Beginning possibly stand up to him?

Hydra- The goddess of all Pokemon appears to have fallen, though saying she's completely out for the count might be an overstatement. Nova has finally taken the first step towards accomplishing his dream of a Pokemon free world, the only question is could he have realistically planned for every defense the tree could conjure up?

Lord Traynwreck- "Ahh, the much awaited fight between Arceus and Giratina; love that PLA reference by the way, really gives off the whole "going straight to Phase 2" vibe. The previous chapter with Primal Kyogre and Lugia was awesome too! And wait, does Giratina not know Palkia is with the Nova Corps? One can only imagine the bloodbath that will follow once Giratina realizes he's been punked, and I can't wait for the next chapter!"

The Creator- As soon as I played Pokemon Legends Arceus and saw that Giratina phase two opening, I knew I had to do something similar. No, Giratina does not know Palkia's true whereabouts. There is a confusing error about that in a prior chapter, but it will be fixed shortly after this chapter is uploaded. Always glad to see new reviewers by the way.

Hydra- Kyogre is just absolutely ruthless with his enemies. No matter what species his enemy is he will gladly drown anyone that dares to encroach on his territory. Lugia continues his spiral into hatred and it's so blinding that he keeps making mistakes.

Leafy boi- "so i finally got internet again, and what do i find out, I WAS RIGHT! STAR TO NOVA! IT WAS WAY TO SIMILAR TO NOT BE A CONNECTION! and holy hell was there alot to catch up on, happy things sad things good bad and odd things, kyogre still an ass xD gira going full idiot, lots of twists, serena might have lost her head, shaun is finally trusting mew it seems, mew has changed big time, and manaphy bringing cavalry was just perfect. Loving this story and cant wait for more"

The Creator- Glad to have you back. Yes, you could say Star becomes Nova when the events of the story "blow up," so to speak. And speaking of blowing up, you're right. If you thought things were crazy now, it's only going to get more heated from here until the end.

Hydra- Isn't it ironic that the moment Mew finally changed her nature and tries to act with sympathy to deal with her problems, it ends up exploding in her face.

SilverWolf1130- "Oh, Giratina… you poor angry soul. When you learn the truth, you're gonna be kicking yourself with all six legs.

Looks like the real Arceus has been brought to the surface…

You just know the Nova Branch members are watching this and laughing evilly with buckets of popcorn in hand.

Ooh, boy. Next time, the true war begins…"

The Creator- How did you like your first taste of the true war? Perhaps Lee would have been enjoying that battle like a film had his hands not been busy. The dominoes have been set. Now, it is time to make them fall.

Hydra- It was nice to finally see Mew get into a real fight, instead of her dominating every enemy like she normally does. One of my favorite parts this chapter has to be when she saves one of the soldiers and they respond in kind by shooting a bullet in her face.

G- "Interesting chapter, so we watched a "family meeting" between Arceus and Giratina, well was interesting to see their battle and exchange of words, as both were chastising and critizing each other, for their actions; Giratina's rebellious behavior and Arceus's choices, making that father and son finally had a dispute for all their previous issues, especially after Necrozma's ouslaught and Nova Branch assaults.

Being honest, this chapter gave me vibes of Star Wars the Revenge of the Sith, specifically the battle in Mustafar; Obi Wan vs Anakin, as the jedi also had some odds in the past, with Obi Wan chastizing the behavior of Anakin ocassionally, and Anakin harboring some resentment in Obi Wan for be holding him back, causing that all this issues were released during their confrontation in Mustafar, especially with the fall to Dark side of Anakin, leading them to a gruesome battle.

But also, this chapter game me vibes of God of War 3, during the final battle between Zeus and Kratos, as both also had serious issues each other; Zeus fearing that Kratos could overthrows him, and Kratos wishing revenge in Zeus for betrayed him, leading them to a bloody battle. Though that unlike the case of Arceus and Giratina, in the case of Zeus and Kratos, the son defeated his father; beating him up to death.

As other point, so in the next chapter we'll see finally the current events of the Tree of Beginning, to knows about the reason of the reaction of Lugia and Kyogre, as i doubt that this would be only for the pressence of Nova Corporation in the Tree of Beginning, implying that something very bad occured here. And for some reason, i have a hunch that this could be related to the gun of Nova, as maybe he didn't shot down Serena, but someone else, like Ash or even Mew, explaining why Lugia and Kyogre had a "disturbance in the force/aura".

PS. Regarding to your point Creator, could be certainly interesting to see the fight between Mew and Nova Corporation, as both will be certainly facing a titanic battle, to considers the poweress of Mew and the adaptability of Nova Corporation, making that this battle can't be decided easily whom could wins, or even maybe this ends in a pyrric victory; with Nova Corporation losing the battle in technical aspects, but with the Tree of Beginning still badly damaged.

And regarding to your point Hydra, i am also fan of Halo, as even this franchise harbors references of many others, including Star Wars, making me have interest in both Sci-fi franchises. Adding that to considers the actions of Nova Corporation to manipulated everybody, caused a lot conflicts and promotes the hatred and bigotry, i dare to compares Nova Corporation, specifically to Mr Star, aka Nova, as the Prophet of Truth, as both are cunning and ruthless men that are willing to do anything to accomplishes their objectives, regardless the consequences, adding that Nova and Truth are also very charismatic, allowing them to manipulated the pokemon world and Covenant to do their will, making that Nova and Truth ended causing notably bloody conflicts; pokemon-human war, and human-covenant war.

Well, perhaps this even could gives us a hint about the possible demise of Nova; being stabbed by one of his former henchmen.

Keep the good job."

The Creator- I fear no family therapy in existence is equipped to handle the likes of Arceus, Mew, Giratina and the other Legends. They'll have to work out their differences a bit more forcefully before coming to any resolution.

Well…who said that your comparison may be "unlike" Arceus and Giratina? Will Arceus beat Giratina back into submission, or will the son overthrow the father once and for all? Perhaps there is a third option altogether? Could they come to some resolution after all? Or will they end up killing each other?

I hope you enjoyed the battle between the Nova Corporation and Mew. Mew held herself back and gave too many chances. Now look what has happened. It seems her change came back to bite her. But then again, if she had gone all out mercilessly, something even worse may have occurred.

Hydra- When I was envisioning the Nova Corporation betraying Team Rocket I specifically thought of the great schism and how it all happened in the middle of the war with the UNSC. I do think that Nova and the Prophet of Truth are similar in many ways, especially in their speeches and how they can easily get so many people to believe in their views. Time will only tell though if the Nova Corporation suffers a similar path to the covenant. I've been playing so much Halo wars 1 lately that I've been slacking a lot lately high is why this chapter took so long to get released lol.

The Creator- Next time, the war continues. Mankind will rage against Pokemon in brutal warfare. Without Mew to protect the Tree of Life any longer, how can the Pokemon hope to win? Then again, Mew isn't the Tree of Life's only defense.

Hydra- Fun fact the whole scene with Riley was inspired from the Walking Dead when the governor killed Hershel in front of Rick. Well guys that's all for this one I hope you enjoyed the chaos and I shall see you on the next one peace out (salutes).
