Before you go reading this chapter, I would like to say that the ocs that appear in this story belong to their original creators including my ocs. I don't own them, they belong to their original owners. I only own my ocs. Thank you.

Disclaimer: This story that I wrote is a different alternative universe of the Magical World meaning that my Magical World universe is not exactly the same universe as TheDragonSaver Magical World universe series.

Our story today will be slightly different from the one you have read before. Our tale began not in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studio, or Animal Kingdom but rather in the Disney Spring, a place where everyone can explore a charming waterside dining, shopping and entertainment destination at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.

All of the guests enjoy their magical and exciting day! Some were shopping, some eating at a restaurant, while others took pictures for memory or posted on their social media for their followers to see.

Everyone is having a wonderful time!

Well….. everyone but one.

One guest isn't happy nor excited like the rest.

A girl with black hair that had blue and pink streaks going through it, purple eyes like hydrangeas flower, and wearing a vintage white dress with black lace.

After some training with Merlin about three week and Yen Sid transforming her back from the cat into her human again, she was finally sent back to the Magical universe.

Aline did try to be kind to others but with no success; she tried giving everyone a kind smile but her smile scared them away which she then dubbed her smile, a "Pennywise clown" smile, another was offering her help but they refused her offer. Ever since the Sorcerer Arena tournament, many have heard of Aline action during her battle with Gabriel.

Some sympathized with her after hearing about her past, however others didn't believe her past and accused her of lying just to gain some sympathy. No matter how much she tries to be kind or nice to others, they still see her as a villain.

[Song: Reflection - Mulan (1998 version) but most of the lyric have been change]

Aline walks close to the railing of Disney Spring and looks down at the water. She looked at her reflection in the water trough before continuing her way.

Aline:

Look at me

I will never pass for a perfect girl

Or a perfect daughter.

She stares at the little girl wearing an Alice costume while holding both hands with her mom and dad before the happy family walk away.

Aline:

Can it be?

She finds a bird's nest in the tree branches over her heads with a distraught mother bird at the base of the tree. She looks down to see her baby birds on the ground, they can't fly up there due how small they are. She squatted down and cupped her hands together which the two birds quickly hopped into.

Aline:

I'm not meant to play this part?

She stepped up onto a rock and returned two baby birds to their nest before continuing her way as the mama birds and her babies stared at her.

Aline:

Now I see,

that if I were truly to be myself.

Shs hops along the bridge railing before jumping down safely.

Aline:

My parents will be very disappointed in me.

Aline looks into the water and sees her own reflection. She puts her hand on the tree and looks upward at the sky.

Aline:

Who is that girl I see,

Staring straight back at me?

Why is my reflection someone I don't know?

The scene slowly transitions to the Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa area where Aline took a stroll on a broad walk of the boat transportation bridge.

Aline:

Somehow I cannot hide who I am though I've tried.

Aline has both of her knees touch the board platform with her arms on her chests.

Aline:

When will my reflection show who I am inside?

She sighs before getting up, dazing off some dirt on her leg. Aline walked away from the boat transportation area before a single tear rolled down on her left cheek.

Aline:

When will my reflection show

Who I am, inside?

It wasn't long before she ended up sitting on a bench located in Fantasyland. She watched as people were passing by either to go on a ride nearby or enter some shops.

Aline signs in sadness, she grabs her left side hair and smooths it down. However, she never noticed the sound of heels clicking toward her.

"Excuse me? May I sit with you?"

Aline gasp, she gazed up at the princess who offered her a small smile. She wears a pink gown with a petal overskirt, a ruffled white petticoat, long triangular sleeves, a golden tiara sat on her gold of sunshine, and pink shoes.

It was none other than Princess Aurora, the Sleeping Beauty.

"Oh! O-of course!"

Aline scooted over to let the Sleeping Beauty sit next to her. Aurora sat down, smooth out her pink gown while feeling a breeze blowing her golden sunshine hair and took a deep breath with a smile on her face.

"The weather is lovely today don't you agree?" Aurora looks at her.

Aline and Aurora awkwardly peeks at each other. Aline assumes she's talking to someone, she turns to her right but no one is there, then to her left, no one and stares up at the pink princess.

"Oh you're talking to me? Oh, uh yeah! Ah huh! Totally! It's lovely today." Aline said, stumbling over her words. "Just… lovely."

Another awkward silence. Aurora is trying to come up with a friendly chat with Aline. "I hear you're no longer being a cat after your training with Merlin! How wonderful!" She smiled.

"Yup." She said with the "p" sound at the end. "I'm no longer a cat and back to being human again, so hooray!"

"Have you made any friends today?" Aurora asks.

Aline shook her head. "No, not really." She answered. "I do want someone to be my friend but every time I try to be friendly with them, they just turn their body away. I have tried everything that Merlin has taught me during my punishment." Her voice goes softer. "Oh! Why bother?" Aline whines, throwing her hand up. "I try to be a good person but whenever people see me, they tend to stay away or whisper. If they want to see me as a villain, guess I will be an villian in their eyes." She sighs. "I don't know what else to do."

Suddenly, Aurora tapped her chin with her finger and began to think. What can she do to make Aline feel better? Let's see…. perhap food can cheer her up? No, she would still be sad afterward. How about a long nap? No, that's more like her thing. There must be something she can do, but what? And then it struck her. She touches Aline's shoulder with a smile. "I think I know just what you need! Follow me."

Aurora got up and Aline began to follow her. What idea does Aurora have in mind exactly?

It wasn't long until the two of them ended up in the Sleeping Beauty Universe. Aurora, now changed into her Briar Rose peasant dress, took Aline (who's also wearing a peasant dress like Aurora but in shade of light pink) a nice and calm walk in the woods.

Aline was amazed and gasped, the whole forest looked like it was hand painted. A lush stylized landscape of groves of trees, dense hedges and bushes in vivid shades of green and stark black. Some trees have a regular tree crown shape like your ordinary tree crown but some crown shape like a square.

It's so magical and so whimsical. Aline felt like she just stepped into a medieval or renaissance painting.

"Whenever I feel sad or like to clear my mind," Aurora began to speak softly to her. "I go out for a walk in the forest in my kingdom. It helps me feel better."

Just then, Aurora's woodland friends like chipmunks, rabbits, birds and an owl, came to see her. One of the blue birds flew in front of her face. "Why hello there." She let the bird sit on her finger. "It's wonderful to see you all again!" She said as she gently stroked the blue bird top head.

"And you know what the best part is?" She said, not keeping her eyes off from the bird.

Aline shook her head side by side. "No…"

Aurora continues petting the bird. "The best part is friends will be there by your side so you won't feel alone and find a way to cheer you up!"

Just then, Aurora spotted a similar pond that she remembered. "Ah huh!" Aurora runs toward the lake with Aline following behind. The two ladies start walking towards a little pond, the same pond that she and her woodland animal friends went to. Aurora gently sits down on the tree roots and slowly puts her toes in the cold water. It's a bit relaxing.

She looked at Aline who was standing there, she pat the grass and motioned for her to come sit beside her. So she walked over to her and sat on the root beside her.

"Did you feel that?" Aurora asks.

"Feel what?" Aline tilted her head.

"Why don't you listen and find out?" Aurora responded softly, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath with a warm smile form on her face.

Aline copies her movements and does exactly as she does. She closed her eyes, relaxed her body, and took a deep breath.

"Did you feel it?" Aurora asks her.

"Yeah…." Aline nodded, answering. "I did feel it. I can feel it!"

"Describe to me what you're feeling right now." Aurora let one eye open and looked at her before closing her eyes shut.

"I feel like everything is so calm right now," Aline explain. "Like it's helping to clear my mind and relax. As well as the comforting feeling of serenity, it also eases knotted stresses in my muscles, making me feel so fresh and calm."

"Very good!" The Sleeping Beauty clapped at her. "Look down at the water." She instructed. "What did you see?"

Aline stared at her reflection in the water, but was confused when she raised her eyebrows. All she saw was her…. Just her.

"Um… me?" She answered, looking up at Aurora in confusion. Not sure what she wants her to look at.

Aurora shook her head. "Look closely," she said, pointing down at the water. "What did you REALLY see?"

"I… I see an…" Her reflection suddenly changed from her to a young version of herself when she was a child. "I see myself as a little girl, doing some lessons and practice my parents made me do."

"Excellent, now what more did you see?" Aurora urges her to continue before taking any steps back in case of Aline sudden outburst.

"I see my father always favored my mom more than me. I always did everything they told me to do and more, burst myself to live up to their expectations - to my mom's reputation. All I ever wanted in exchange was for them to love me... for who I am... But they never did. That's how I ended up becoming the bad girl you've faced in the Sorcerer's Arena. I'm sorry about that, by the way."

"Your apology is accepted." Aurora smiles. "Now. Tell me about your feelings right now, what is your emotion? Isn't sadness? Anger? Confused? Do let your emotion show. There's no shame or embarrassment to feel this way." She explains. "Do not hold back your emotions, instead embrace them. Show me your tears, show me your frustration, show me everything! What did you feel?"

"I feel sick… so… so sick of my parents expecting me to be the perfect daughter they want me to be throughout my whole entire life and literally." Aline hands began to clutch her skirt and also form an fist, showing her vain and knuckles. She began to feel her body shaking. "I did what they told me, I did exactly what they taught me and the only thing they paid me back for was being disappointed in me!" Aline tears of fury and frustration began rolling down on both cheeks.

"I never wanted to be perfect! I never wanted to be their perfect porcelain doll! All I wanted was for my parents to LOVE ME!!! WHY. WHY DON'T THEY GET IT!? CAN THEY SEE HOW MUCH I WANT THEIR LOVE? I JUST WANT MY MOM AND DAD TO JUST…." Aline relaxed her whole body while a drop of tears landed on the lake. "I just wanted my parents to give me their love." With each sentence, she sniffed. Aline's body stopped shaking for a moment, she's openly sobbing now. It's a breakdown overdue for almost years, and it's taking its toll. Aline feels like a five year old girl who wants her parents to hold her, to comfort her and to wipe her tears away. The woodland animals went over her to comfort her.

She sat there on her knees with hot tears running down her face. Her head rose up, she looked down and stared at her two palms with tears dropping down. What is this strange feeling she's getting right now. She's not feeling any sign of sadness, anger, or even confusion inside of her. She felt so… calm and relieved after her sudden outburst.

[Song: What else can I do? - Encanto, but the lyric have been change]

Aline:

I just burst out unexpected

Something ease, something relief

She got a wondrous look on her face. She has never had this feeling before, never in her entire life she felt this emotion before. Aline knows all her emotions but this one? This one is… strange.

Aline:

What is this strange feeling?

Aline rose up from her knee, as she observed herself with a smile beginning to form on her face.

Aline:

But I feel so calm, and it's feel great

Why bother pretending?

She wiped her tears away.

Aurora (Aline):

Let it out, Let it out!

Aurora speed walks toward her, both her and Aline grab each other's hand and both spin in one circular direction together.

Aurora (Aline):

(Good talk) Let it out, let it out {Why bother pretending?}

(Let's walk) Let it out, let it out

(Feel so relax) Let it out, let it out

She let go of Aline as the girl slipped through the woods.

Aline:

I was told to act so perfectly

"Be a good girl, we want you to be"

I took perfect, practiced lessons

to live up to my parents high expectations

Why bother being the character that my parents cast me as?

She made poses and poses through the trees and bushes while having an annoyed look on her face. Aline remembers all those lessons she took her parents taught her just so she can be perfect as they want her to be.

Aurora: drop that character performance

Aurora along with her animal friends managed to fight her way through the trees and bushes to find Aline. Only for her skirt to be caught on the branch of the bush before she got herself free and ran after Aline.

Aline:

Why bother to make them proud if I just knew they don't care?

Who cares what they'll say?

I don't care that they're mad!

Aline looked up at the sky smiling with the determination and happiness she ever felt in her life.

Aline (Aurora):

I'm cutting the string they hold me down

No more being (No more being)

Their Marionette (Marionette)

Aline launches across the steaming river with Aurora trying to catch up with her but rather having to jump over it she just hop on two rocks carefully without falling down.

Aline:

The smell of relief fills the air as I climb

And I push through

Why bother pretending?

Aline ran with her hair blowing in the wind, with each step she ran, she felt more stress and sadness faded away and replaced with happiness and relief.

Aline:

Isn't it time for me to cut ties with them?

Perhap I should, I don't want to see them again

I wanna feel the shiver of something new

I'm so sick of being perfect, I want something real, don't you?

Aline turned to face Aurora, she began to wonder if it was best to cut ties from her parents. Knowing they don't care or love her let alone be happy for her, they would be outraged if they see their daughter behaving like this right now. But she doesn't care what they think, she's done being their perfect daughter, she wants to be a real Aline that was hidden away and to come out of the darkness.

Aurora (Aline):

You just seem like your life's have been plan out (Woah)

But since the moment you opened your eyes

(How far can I go?)

You can create the life you wanted to have (Woah)

And it's wonderful to see how you rise

Aurora was overjoyed to see Aline feeling better and embracing her emotions. After seeing her memory back in the Sorcerer's Area Tournament, she feel bad for her. Her parents created a different daughter for her to act and behave, now she can quit playing the character and create a real life she wanted to have now she's done with her parents.

Aurora & Aline:

How far can I run? Through the leaves, to the skies, let's go!

They started doing a little dance, twirling and spinning around in their skirts.

Aline (Aurora):

I'm cutting the string they hold me down

No more being (No more being)

Their Marionette (Marionette)

The smell of relief fills the air as I climb

And I push through

(What else, what else?)

They continue to twirl through the wood tree bridge and Aline laughs and chuckles.

Aline & Aurora:

What can you do when you are deeply, madly, truly in the moment?

Aline walked on until she felt something cool and wet, she looked down and saw she happened to step into a small lake that only reached her ankle.

Aurora:

Seize the moment, keep going!

Aline & Aurora:

What can you do when you know who you wanna be isn't imperfect?

Aline held the water into her hands and threw up in the air letting the water sprinkle her. She took Aurora's hand as they all ran into the forest together.

Aline (Aurora):

But I'll still be okay ("Wait up, I can't keep up with you!")

They reach the end only to end up in the flower field with a bunch of beautiful flowers like daisies, iris, delphinium, eryngium thistles, and so much more.

Aline (Aurora):

I'm done being a perfect daughter (A perfect daughter no more!)

And to live up (live up)

their high expectations (high expectations)

Aline ran through the flower field with Aurora and her animal friends following behind her, trying to catch up with hers. She entered back inside the woods.

Aline:

The way is clearer 'cause you're here, and well

I owe this all to you

She ran through the woods, her eyes filled with happiness, relief and freedom.

Aline (Aurora):

Why bother pretending? (Show them the real you)

Why bother pretending? (You don't need to act anymore)

Aline & Aurora:

Why bother pretending?

Aline overlooking the kingdom. She just stood there and stared at the castle of King Stephen. Even from a distance, the castle looked very huge and open.

"Oh my goodness!" Aurora ran out of breath before resting on the tree root. "You run…. So fast… than my good friend Pocahontas! Oh dear!"

"Thank you Aurora!" Aline hugged her. "I feel so much better now!"

"You're very welcome Aline!" Aurora hugged her back. "I'm so glad I can help you out! Next time, please don't run so fast. I am not blessed with the gift of being athletic or amazing runners."

Even if her parents find out about this, who cares! If they have a problem with it, they will have to deal with it. Aline doesn't need to be the perfect girl her parents expect her to be, if they don't want her love, fine by her. With or without them, she can be the girl she wants herself to be rather than pretending to be someone else.

The old Aline is gone, the perfect girl no more. The new Aline is ready to show the world the real her! Not the old one she's forced herself to act.

Goodbye old Aline, hello new Aline!

I hope I did your character justice Alex C 1209! I did everything I can to be exactly like she is. Sorry it took so long to finish your request. But I managed to finish this chapter and try to make it last as long as I can.

Anyway, review if you can. I would like to see your thoughts about this chapter so far! The reviews are the best form of motivation! Let me know what you think and see you all for the next one and the final one-shots requested chapter. Thank you. :)
