A/N: Yeah I know what you're thinking, "You're starting another fic!" I can't help it. I have 'I can't stick with one fic syndrome'. Anyway, this was supposed to be yaoi but it developed into something entirely different. Well, here it is!
Roy and Ed were at it again. Riza sighed. With them, it was like a never-ending battle. They were both stubborn, hard-headed, and above all, too proud to admit their mistakes.
'Heh. A match made in heaven.' Riza thought, mentally chuckling at her supposed to be joke.
She walked down the hallway to her higher-up's office, the yelling getting louder and louder by every passing second.
When Riza reached the third door on the left, she stopped, turned the doorknob, opening the door. What met her eyes first was the sight of a bickering Roy and Ed. Ignoring them, Riza went over to her desk, which was located next to Jean Havoc's.
"So, they're at it again. What's it about this time?"
"Well, Ed came in and, like always, the Colonel went one short comment too far. Ed blew a fuse and criticized Roy's reasons for wanting to become Fuhrer. Roy lost his cool and now they're in a head-to-head argument. You know, the usual."
"Oh, that's all? They'll never learn, will they?"
"I highly doubt it."
"I AM NOT SHORT!"
"Not short in whose eyes, Fullmetal? An ant's?"
"Grrrrrrr….SHUT UP! YOU'RE IN NO POSITION TO TALK ABOUT ANYONE, YOU SLEEZY MAN-WHORE!"
"MAN-WHORE!" Mustang's expression changed from a cocky to a serious one. He pulled out his gloves, placing them on his hands.
"Fullmetal, take that back or else."
"Or else what?"
"Or else I'll burn you to a crisp."
"Ooh…I'm sooooo scared. Man-whore gonna make scary fire?"
That was the last straw. After that, Roy just snapped.
"THAT'S IT!"
Just when he was about to snap his fingers, engulfing not only Ed but his whole office in flames, Riza stepped in the middle of this quarrel.
"Sir, with all due respect, I cannot allow this argument to progress any further."
"Second Lieutenant, step aside. I need to teach Fullmetal a lesson on respecting his higher-ups."
Bad mistake on Roy's behalf. Riza sighed, as she took out her gun, taking extra care in loading it.
"R-Riza? What are you doing?" Roy asked with a hint of fear in his voice.
Hawkeye raised the gut, pointing it at the Colonel. Roy just stood there, shaking with fear. It felt like his knees were going to cave in on him. He had an idea on what was coming next.
A bullet brushed past Roy, nearly grazing the side of his head.
Riza lowered the gun and slowly looked around the now deadly silent room.
"Now, does anyone else have any problems?"
Silence.
"Good. Now, Roy?"
"Y-Yes?"
"Get back to work on those reports."
"Y-Yes ma'am."
That was the day that Roy and Ed learned the most important rule of the State Military. Never piss Riza off.
A/N: So, what did ya think of it? It just came to me at 11:30pm. R&R! Flames are accepted!
