Hera heard the ships buzz past the Ghost first. She stared out of the window to see if the ships were only passing over or if they had spotted the Ghost. Three tie fighters were flying around near the ship, but they hadn't zeroed in on the Ghost yet.

"Chopper, pull up the scanner, I want to see if the ties are flying right above us."

Suddenly a transmission came in.

"Spectre one here, we need a quick pick up."

"Spectre one, I hear you. Is this urgent? I have ties flying near me, I'm not sure we can get to you yet." If Hera started the Ghost up now, the ties would notice and recognize the ship.

"We have the information and are outside the base. For now, the mission's been quiet. We just need a pick up before we're noticed."

Kanan and Zeb stood atop a communication tower, waiting for the Ghost to pick them up. Before they had contacted Hera, they made sure Sabine had planted the bombs and was safely out of the base.

"Spectre one, I could ignite the bombs as a distraction if we need one to get out of here," Sabine suggested.

"No, Spectre five. It's not safe to set them off right now, you're too close to the base still."

"I could make my way toward you."

"Hold your position for now. We don't want you to be seen." Kanan changed his transmission to talk to Hera.

"How's the tie situation?"

"They seem to be doing some sort of training right above me. I'm going to try to get off the ground without getting noticed."

Back at the ship, Hera set Ezra in his seat and buckled him in, though the buckle was way too big for him.

"Hold on tight, bud. I'm going to try to fly under the empire's radar." Hera turned on the ship and slowly rose up from the ground. The Ghost barely hovered over the ground as Hera turned the ship in the direction of the imperial base.

Once they were far enough away from the ties, Hera put the thrusters at full capacity and the ship shot out toward the base. Ezra fell forward in his seat, almost falling off the seat. He gripped the edge of the seat and scooted back.

"I'm on my way. Where do you need the pick up?"

"Spectre four and I are at the Eastern most communications tower. Spectre five is on the roof of the biggest building on the western side."

"Got it. Making my way to the communication tower first." Hera brought the ship over to the tower and opened the ramp.

"We're on. Let's get…" The communication stopped abruptly.

Hera froze. She heard ties fly past the hovering ship, starting to shoot at the Ghost.

"Chopper, keep the ship steady." Hera rushed to the back of the ship, hoping that Kanan and Zeb were still okay and on the ship.

Hera met Kanan in the hallway. After seeing Zeb behind him, Hera relaxed, but only slightly. The ship rattled as a tie fighter started to shoot at the Ghost.

"Chopper, take us out!" Hera yelled into her com.

"Zeb, man the nose guns. Kanan, where's Sabine?" Hera started to run back to the cockpit with Kanan.

"She's on the roof of the building on the west side." Hera barged into the cockpit to find Chopper freaking out. He yelled that the shields were down and there was damage to the ship. And Ezra was coughing up a storm.

"Breathe, Ezra. Kanan, fly the ship to get Sabine. I'm going to try to fix the shields." As Kanan flew the ship, he talked to Ezra to try to calm him down.

"Take a deep breath, buddy."

"I...I…" But Ezra couldn't talk over his coughing. Kanan opened the ramp and heard Sabine tell them that she was on before moving off into space.

"Kanan, hyperspace is down, too. Keep close to the ground. With the damage that we have, we might lose power," Hera instructed. Kanan swerved the ship out of the way as a tie sped right toward the front of the Ghost.

Everyone fell to the side. Ezra actually flew out of his seat and hit Hera's legs.

"Ezra, hang onto Chopper." Hera instructed as she finally got the shields working.

"Chopper, turn on the shields." Sabine ran into the room.

"Hera, what do you need me to do?"

"Man the other gun. We need to get these ties off of our tail." Before Hera ran to the engine room to try to get hyperspace working, she grabbed Ezra and put him on Kanan's lap. Ezra held on to Kanan's shoulders as the man flew the ship away from the ties.

Kanan noticed that Ezra had stopped coughing.

"Are you okay?"

"Ya."

"Okay, hold on, I'm gonna get us out of this." Kanan flew forward and then pulled back. He then changed altitude, giving Zeb a chance to shoot one of the ties down.

Chopper buzzed at Kanan.

"First of all, keep your language civil since Ezra can understand you. Second of all, Zeb got one of the ties, so it worked."

Chopper grumbled.

Kanan ignored him.

"He said you're lothrat stink," Ezra said groggily, wiping at his eyes.

"I know. Chopper's not being very nice today. Well, he's not really ever very nice."

"He's nice to me and Hera."

"You two are lucky. And probably more likable than the rest of us are."

Chopper beeped his agreement.

"Hyperspace is working, get us out of here," Hera said. Kanan flew the ship off the planet and into hyperspace.

Once Hera was back in the cockpit, she took over flying for Kanan. The rest of the crew came into the cockpit. Zeb gave Hera the information that they stole.

"At least the mission was a success," Zeb said.

"Yes, nice job you three."

"Sabine, I hope you set off your surprise to the empire," Zeb said.

"Yep, right when I got on board and we were far enough away."

Ezra started coughing again, this time worse than ever. Kanan rubbed his back, but it wasn't working. Ezra was starting to gasp for breath. Finally when the fit was over, Ezra started to cry in Kanan's shoulder, causing him to have another coughing fit.

"There's got to be some sort of medicine that we can get him," Sabine said. She grabbed a datapad and started researching. Zeb looked over her shoulder.

"It says that the juice of a melorun helps soothe the cough and will cure the sickness faster."

"Well, we need to get that. This cough is horrible. Sabine, research a planet in this system that imports meloruns," Hera said.

The crew found a small planet not too far away that would definitely have meloruns.

"While I'm gone, I want Zeb to run a diagnostic on the ship while Sabine and Kanan start to fix some of the damage. Ezra, see if you can take a little nap. And I want Chopper to make sure you don't have another bad coughing fit," Hera ordered.

"If he does, come and get me," Kanan said.

By late afternoon, Hera arrived back on the ship with not only a bunch of meloruns, but a special package for Ezra.

"What's that?" Zeb asked as he and the others made their way into the cockpit.

"This is a ship seat. I saw it in a shop for kids. It's for Ezra to sit safely in our cockpit seats." Hera finished installing the seat and went to go get Ezra.

"Hey, bud. Look what Hera bought you at the market," Kanan said. "Let's try it out."

Ezra climbed into the seat and let Kanan strap him in.

"You look pretty secure in there. Is it comfy?" Hera asked, bringing in a freshly squeezed cup of melorun juice. But Ezra had already fallen asleep in his new ship seat.
