It's hard to say how long she's been down here. God, what if it's been days? What if everyone is gone? Time has taken on a distorted quality here as she moves against the walls. Shrieks echo through the mines.

"It's just the wind. It's just the wind."

She's not sure she believes it.

Eventually she comes across water.

There's something in the water. It's hard to make out in the gloom, Jessica gets into the freezing water, feeling trepedition.

She was right to. It's a body.

"Matt?" She calls out

It's not Matt. It's worse.

It's Josh.

It's Josh and he looks like he was in pain.

Jessica wants to scream, but its like she doesn't have enough air. She wants to throw up, but there's nothing left in her stomach, and her throat burns for it. She's on her hands and knees, in shallow water and it's freezing, and she's crying.

"Josh? Josh! Oh God Josh I'm so sorry. Your not supposed to be dead. Your supposed to be alive, and oh God, why! I'm sorry. I'm so sorry Josh."

Matt was the last living person she saw down here. Oh God. What if the rest are dead?

Nonononono. Please no.

"God, if you have any love left in your heart for me, please no."

Eventually Jessica calms down enough to try to do right by Josh. And that means closing his eyes, and doing her best to drag a grown man onto shore.

Eventually she makes it halfway, and decides that will have to work for now.

"Josh. I'm sorry for what happened with your sisters. I was angry with Hannah's… attitude, but that didn't justify what happened that night. I'm sorry for what happened with your sisters. I'm sorry you got died on the same mountain they did. Possibly by serial killer.

It's a horrible sort of Irony. You loved horror movies, and ended up a victim in our real life one. You were a good friend when you weren't being a complete asshole, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm going to miss you, and the UST you had with Sam. You should have just asked her, you know. She would have said yes.

I'm sorry I don't have anything better for this. You deserve jokes and pranks at your funeral, but I am in no state to do that. If I get out of here alive, I'll be sure to prank every guest that comes to your funeral, ok. Watch over me please."

He deserves more. A marker.

She sets out to look for something appropriate.

She finds a diary on one of the islands deep in the freazing waters. She opens it, and it's Hannah's, and it's painful to read her excitement over Mike.

Jessica drops it.

She keeps looking around for a marker. It would be pretty fucked up to use his sister's diary as a grave marker.

She finds a watch on the next island. She picks it up only to find it's marked.

It reads Beth.

She drops it, and sits as the implications hit her.

Josh died in the same mineshaft his sister's did.

And maybe she will too.
