The Office of Law and Order

After a lengthy day at work, Deedrah was beginning to wonder what her boss had been doing all day. She could sense he was still in there, but also felt the sense of something abnormal, like a being or thing that twisted the force itself. She had managed to do most of today's work, without the input of her Lord's supervision. The only issue where she was still in the dark, was whether Darth Imperious would desire a new apprentice, to replace the fallen Lord Lanyzz. She got a bit surprised when the door to Darth Imperious private chamber slid open. It was not that she didn't expect him to come out eventually, what surprised her a little was how fresh he now seemed, unlike when he entered his chamber earlier, by then he looked like he hadn't' slept for weeks.

Instead of asking how everything progressed like he would normally do, Imperious began stating the facts. "The powers we face, are formidable. All our operatives are at risk of being mind dominated by Psiron," he paused before continuing. "We need everyone mentally strong to continue their work."

Deedrah nodded in acknowledgement. "Unfortunately, we have way more operatives than strong minded force sensitives," she concluded with a heavy expression. "Nor am I sure any of our current numbers of force uses would be suitable for this line of work. So far, only Lord Briza have given us any results in this matter."

Imperious' expression darkened, as he pondered how best to proceed. "This is unfortunate... Assign Lord Briza the most critical task and give her whatever she requires for her mission. Tell her, this is her chance to prove her worth once and for all."

Once again Deedrah was a bit surprised, this time by his sudden change of heart. "As you wish my lord, I'll begin by recalling our operatives and reassign what few strong minded we have available."

"See to it! We need to find our missing Dreadnought and the rogue bounty hunter guild. I will contact Darth Mortis and the renaming dark council and ask them to assist us in this crucial matter." He informed quickly and headed straight for the comm center.

Briza's skyscraper

The four sibling sat around the dinner table and ate lunch in a quiet peace... Until they heard an unmistakable sound of Mathorn, being squashed by silents itself... and desperately had to break free. "Question bro? You have a little force connection right?"

"That would be correct." Terrow politely confirmed.

"So, shouldn't we see how powerful you could become if you learned to use force-link? We could make you the powerful and tyrannical Darth Terrow! How awesome would that be!" Mathorn suggested as a joke.

The reply came from all the other three resounding in a huge sigh, completely in sync.

Briza leaned in to whisper to her sister to her left at the table. "Tikala, where again did he learn to speak in such a unlawful manner?"

Tikala replied in a whisper as well. "Since he was born I believe, he already spoke differently when he entered the jedi order. The masters tried to rid him of his… how do you put it... street slang?"

"I take it they failed miserably" Briza commented unimpressed.

Tikala really didn't like to put the masters of the order in such a bad light, but nodded nevertheless. "That wouldn't have been my choice of words... But yes."

Terrow had to hold back a chuckle, as he had could make just enough out of the females whispering, to piece together the conversation.

All the while Mathorn kept blabbering on, something about how they could make Terrow the new sith emperor of the empire. Of courses no one was listing at this point.

"Is everyone ready for our next force-link training?" Tikala politely asked, as they all had finished their meal.

"Let's go," Briza instantly replied as she rose up and headed towards the turbolift. Followed by Mathorn, who too was eager to continue practicing.

Terrow was about to walk to his workstation, when Tikala stopped him with a simple hand wave. "Terrow, I would like you to participate with us."

"Sure, though I don't know what you will need me for?" Terrow agreed with a compliant nod.

Tikala gave him a soft reassuring smile. "I believed you could be force-linked to the rest of us."

Terrow didn't really believe his weak force connection could be of any significant use, but followed nonetheless.

Back in the training chamber, the four siblings sat next to each other in one straight line, cross legged and eyes closed, meditating on their individual force connection and those right next to them.

While Terrow could feel his siblings presence in his own state, his many years of suppressing his force signature to remain undetected by other force sensitives, made this simple exercise a huge challenge for him to undertake.

Tikala could sense his struggle to unfold his long buried force connection. To help him, she decided to start by leading him through the basics. By the time he was ready to recessive an external force connection, she reduced it to a small amount for him to get comfortable with.

As instructed, the service droids had placed a number of empty cans on the floor, for practice use.

"Now. Let's begin by lifting small cans, to test the stability of our link." Tikala assigned, as she closed her eyes to remain focused on her own energies.

Mathorn just listen to the instructions, and began moving the objects around with no difficulty.

To Briza it was a strange experience to be moving one object with her own force connection, and moving another with her force-link to Tikala.

Terrow was feeling very uncanny, although he was only receiving less force energy from Tikala, he felt energized in a way that was an eye opener to him. "So this is how my family's force power feels like." But because of his lack of training, he could barely keep one cane hovering somewhat stable in the air.

For Tikala, keeping the force-link open to her three siblings at the same time, was both a wonderful experience, but also taxing on her mental capacity.

In time as all three had gained a somewhat decent control over the external energies, they began playing a game of force abilities. It was a game where everyone just sat completely still and used the force to disrupt the other persons siding position.

As soon as they began, Mathorn felt like thousands of threads was tying him up, in the next second he was helplessly dragged backwards and slammed down on the floor like a solid statue.

This game was clearly in favor of Briza, her understanding of the universal powers the force, gave her several ways to unbalance or break Mathorn's natural force bobble. It became five minutes of Mathorn trying to break free, which only occasionally succeed... and only for a very short moment, before he was becoming one with the floor... or the ceiling.

"Hi Bro! He-elp me here... will you?!" Mathorn asked a bit demanding for just some kind of assistance, in his futile endeavor.

"Are you seri-iously asking the rookie for assistance?! Alright... I'll try," Terrow replied, fully knowing this wouldn't do him any good.

"Not going to change the outcome." Briza just muttered in a low voice, as she was now mentally gluing Mathorn and Terrow up against a durasteel pillar each. "...Not the finest statues," she admitted.

Even with Tikala trying to adjust the force flow to help her brothers to get some leeway, they simply lacked the years of training it required to master the physical force.

To Briza, this was becoming boring. She had to restrain herself against the natural desire to painfully punishing him for his lack of ability to give her any meaningful resistance in this game.

A few minutes later, the males were completely exhausted. Briza went over to look Tikala directly in the eyes. "I want to practice against you! While our force-link still remains."

"That would be difficult... even a bit strange to fight myself," Tikala replied a bit puzzled. She was about to decline the demand, but she decided to try nevertheless. "Okay. Sit down and let's begin."

As soon as Briza returned to her former sitting position, she started by lifting Tikala ever so slightly.

To Tikala, it felt extremely weird to be partly lifted by herself. It also took a tremendous amount of concentration to keep the force-link to her sister open, while trying to fight off Briza, who had now turned her upside down, her hair touching the floor beneath. "I too have a few things to improve." she admitted to herself.
