In the living room, Terrow was pouring himself a cup of hot caf, when he got a notification that an encrypted call was coming on their central comm unite. A quick look on the addressee verified what he had already guessed, it was from republic space. "Mathorn! Someone from the republic is calling us."

Mathorn who was eating snacks while watching an imperial conquest documentary, eagerly replied, "Really?! Let's see who it is," curious to see who would appear before him.

Terrow accepted the call on the holo in their living room. They both sat down in the couch, as the holo-projector turned on.

The image was distorted and flickered in front of them, due to the thousands of relay stations the signal had to pass through. But Mathorn easily recognized the image anyway, "Master Linzan?"

"Mathorn?" The Rattataki jedi Master replied with a wide smile on her lips. "It's so good to see you again, are you well?"

"I'm just fine here on planet evil." Mathorn grinned from ear to ear.

"Are your sister with you?" The hologram asked, as it seemed to look around for other beings nearby.

"She is training at the moment," Mathorn informed, then he grabbed the shoulder of Terrow and began to introduce his brother, "And this cool fellow here is-"

"Dexten Halan." Terrow broke in, before Mathorn had a chance to finish his sentence. "Well met master jedi."

"I'm jedi knight Remiuz Linzan. I thank you for housing our people, I find your courage and generosity remarkable." Reniuz bowed to show her appreciations.

"You shouldn't thank me. This is my sisters place, she is really the one who is risking her life." Terrow clarified in a polite manner.

"Would it be possible for me to speak to your sister?" Reniuz carefully requested. "If not, please forward my sincere gratitude to her for risk in involvement with the jedi council."

"She prefers for me to do the talking, but I shall gladly relay your praises." Terrow replied knowingly. Even before he had accepted the call from republic space, he had sent a message to Briza to notify her. Her reply saying, she didn't want to be conversing with jedi at the moment, unless absolutely necessary.

The hologram nodded in understanding, then changed to a more serious expression. "To matters at hand. The data disk, my Padawan brought to SIS, revealed two possible leads as to where Master Buz might have been taken. One lead is the planet Ord Canfre, the other to the planet Forsen, both in the Cassander sector. Also, we learned that the Tenkan bounty hunter Syndicate have been secretly selling Tibanna gas in a large quantity from an unknown planet designated 'N5'. This lead could be a third option should our other leads prove falls. I will send you the information now."

"Thank you very much Master jedi, we will be putting it to good use as soon as time allows." Terrow promised with a short bow for emphasis.

Reniuz smiled, as she continued, "And to a more light hearted request, I have three young jedi knights here who wants to say hello to padawan Xastra and jedi Xastra if you don't mind?"

"OI! I want to talk to them." Mathorn quickly shouted without a second thought.

"Sure. I'll contact jedi Tikala, while you converse with your peers." Terrow allowed in a friendly manner, as he got up from the couch.

"Oh no you don't. I want you to meet my old pals." Mathorn demanded with a grin, while dragging his brother back in the couch.

A new figure appeared in the holo, it was a young human male. "Hello Mathorn, it's very reassuring to see you are doing great on Dromund Kaas."

"Heh, this planet of evil, has so far been a fun experience." Mathorn smiled widely and added with a question, "So Jonathan, what have you been up to here of late?"

Jonathan thought for a moment about how to address the question. "To put in mildly. I've have been on one escort duty after another. Nothing major really."

"Do I see double?" A familiar Mirialan mumbled, with only his head becoming visible in the holo projection.

"No, this is my imperial friend T... Dexten." Mathorn was about to reveal his brothers real name, but remembered to use the cover name.

"You still smell alike... I like that smell." Urr'tah muttered in a drowsy tone.

Terrow made an odd expression, all while Mathorn chuckled, "How I missed your weirdness Urr'tah."

"Urr'tah and Master Odoum have been on several archaeologist projects, here on Tython. Many ancient steel sabers have been found in excellent condition." Jonathan informed in a carefree tone.

"When I'm working there. I see everything in post... in... the past" Urr'tah added to his own story. And further added, "My Master says, that is what she likes about me."

Mathorn was about to reply something, when his Sister entered the living room. "Hi sis, come over here. Our pals would like to say hi."

"I came as soon as I heard we were having a meeting." Tikala told, as she took a seat in the couch next to her older brother.

At the sound of Tikala's voice, a young female twi'lek came into view. "Tikala! Are you okay? I've missed you so much." The figure partly looked like she was going to cry.

For a short moment, Tikala wanted to remind her friend, to let go of attachments. But then decided this was not the time or place for lessons. So she replied with a sweet, "I'm perfectly fine, I've missed you too Mile'giko. How is your teaching going? Last time we talked, you said you wanted to teach the art of healing?"

"I've have been enrolled as a teacher," Mile'giko happily informed. "So far, I've been teaching younglings physical and force based healing techniques. It's such a fulfilling job, You would have loved it," She cheerfully stated.

"Well, I never had the affinity for force healing, I only mastered the basics as you know," Tikala replied in soft tone, enriched by the happiness radiating from her friend.

Reniuz reappeared in the holo projection to say her greetings, "Jedi Knight Xastra, It's good to see you too are well. I imagine it must be hard to live in such a dark place, as the imperial capital."

"Master Linzan, It's good to see you again. There is a strong dark aura surrounding this planet, a nexus of the darkside if you will. But we have learned to mask our presence well enough to avoid suspecting eyes. And even in such a foul place, there is a light that guides us safely," Tikala said the last sentence, looking directly at Terrow, as a way to reassure the jedi Rattataki they were in good hands. But she omitted telling how they made Mathorn blend in as a sith apprentice.

"That's is a great relief," Reniuz sighed deeply, her fears evaporating from her mind. But added regardless, "...Be careful! Never underestimate the lure of the dark side.

"You have my word... We will do all that we possibly can to avoid the temptations of the dark," Tikala promised for both herself and Mathorn.

Mathorn had to hide a chuckle, at the whole 'avoiding the dark side'.... Meanwhile they themselves, were living with a dark lord of the sith. True it was their dear Sister, but regardless a true sith lord with potent knowledge of the dark arts. "I wonder what would happen if we told master Linzan the whole story."

"In that case. I will leave you to your work... And may the force be with you all." Reniuz bowed and left, making room for the other three jedi to say their goodbyes in the traditional manner... except for Urr-tah who wished them a happy dinner.

"May the force be with you too." Tikala and Mathorn said in unison before the connection ended.

Terrow had been half listing to the conversation, half looking through the data files that they had received. On one hand he really wanted to ask a bunch of questions about the life in the jedi academy, so he could better picture himself in the role of a jedi, as if he had been born in republic space. Just to dream of a world that could have been. On the other hand, he really didn't want to think too much about it, as it stirred up old painful childhood memories of fear and suffering. He shook the thoughts from of his mind and continued to look through the files.

Mathorn, sighed comfortable, "It was good to see the old gang again, I was starting to miss them a bit."

"It's good to known everyone is doing great at home," Tikala nodded in agreement, then walked over to Terrow to assist him in looking through the files at hand.

A little later Tikala and Terrow was looking through the data from SIS, comparing it to the info they already had from Imperial intelligence, with Mathorn occasionally looking over their shoulders to see if they could conclude something. Then a priority call came in on their main monitor. Terrow immediately checked the source of the call, it was from the Office of Law and Order. "Tikala! Get Briza! I'll answer the call in a moment."

Tikala didn't even have to get Briza, as the eldest sibling stepped out of the turbo lift.

Briza and Tikala only had to share a glance, Tikala just nodded and went to the basement to get out of sight, while Briza entered the living room and gave signal to answer the incoming call.

Deedrah materialized in holo-form. "Thank you for accepting my call so quickly." She politely uttered, before continuing in a more serious voice. "By orders from my master Darth Imperious, you are all to depart on a very important mission to the industrial mining planet of Ord Canfre!"

Everyone looked at each other … they all knew Ord Canfre was one of the planets where the Tenkan Syndicate have been operating from.

"Our Lord believes, that our agents operating in that area may be compromised. Further details will be sent to you for debriefing." Deedrah informed them in a very urgent tone.

"We will depart with all haste." Briza promised, as she had already signaled to her servants to prep the Silent Fang for take off immediately.

In less than ten minutes, the Silent fang took off from their personal hanger and ascended into the clouded sky above.

"Finally we are leaving planet negative! I was getting too depressed with it's constant soggy weather." Mathorn bust out his relief and opinion... which was ignored by everyone. The others were far too busy looking over the mission details they had received just a few moments before take off.

The Silent Fang was controlled and piloted by five droids, and eight twi-leks, the latter hand picked and trained by Terrow, who had personally schooled them in flight and navigation.

While the large covert craft could be flown by a single person, this ship was built for a crew of a minimum of seven and twelve for peak performance.

As they studied the mission details, it became clear, that the reports from the empire's agents, were reporting too peaceful and vague concerning the info of the planets situation. Which meant that their first job would be to find and interrogate the agents stationed there. The next priority would be to track down the bounty hunters from the Tenkan syndicate.

The siblings began to examine a hologram of the planet Ord Canfre, and a discussion followed among them to decide where the best place to land on the planet without being discovered would be. The ability to remain hidden could very well prove to be a deciding factor for the success of the mission. They were so occupied by the task, that they barely noticed the ship going into hyperspace.

Mathorn tried to contribute to the discussion, but quickly found out that his knowledge in stealth operations was limited at best. So instead he began to antagonize the only two female Twi'leks on the ship, by asking number of random questions and annoyingly poking their head tails. Had he not technically saved them from their former cruel slave master, both Twi'leks would have kindly ask him to jump the airlock, to see him out of their space.

As the trio came up with an optimal approach once they entered Ord Canfre atmosphere, Tikala decided she needed to center herself for a bit. "If no one mind, I'll like to retire and meditate for awhile."

"Granted." Briza casually replied. "Use the bedroom, it should be the most quiet."

Tikala bowed her head and left for the bedroom, she shared with Briza. On her way she laid a hand on Mathorn's shoulder and firmly stated, "Be nice to the people around you. If you feel restless, help out or meditate on recent events."

"Yes... Sis," He replied in a low voice and left the Twi'leks to themselves. Mathorn hesitantly went to meditate in the cargo area, as always he felt as if he was missing out on something while meditating. It was not like he disliked meditation in on itself, quite the contrary, as it always made him feel fresh and clear minded afterwards.

Both jedi leaving for meditation, left alone the imperial side of their family in the conference room. Briza was the first to speak, revealing a concern she have been dwelling upon, "You know Brother I've been wondering. What would happen if the Imperial intelligence or another imperial faction, found out that, we are also looking for a Jedi master?"

Terrow pondered the question before replying with a bit of uncertainty in his voice, "Hard to say for sure. I think the fact that we are hiding information from Darth Imperious is our biggest concern... should the truth come to light, we might need to go into hiding. You know as well as I, lying our way out of it, would be virtually impossible."

"I see," Briza just replied in a low tone. After a little while, she rose from the couch, "I'll be at the workbench, inform me if any new developments happen."

"You will be the first to know." Terrow assured her, as he continued to look at the galaxy chart for possible issues that could hinder their progress.

At a workbench in the armory, Briza was equipping her red lightsaber with a small beskar blade in the rear of the handle. It was original from a small dagger she had required from a corrupt Mandalorian a few months ago. Beskar metal, also known as Mandalorian-iron, was sacred to the Mandalorians and forbidden to outsiders.

The Beskar dagger like blade at the rear of her red lightsaber, made it deadly from multiple angles, but at the other hand also impossible to use as a two handed weapon, without cutting into her own hands. Since her other captured lightsaber had a regular design, she worried little.

The Office of Law and Order

Imperious was studying clues on the mask's origin, when the door slid open. He looked up at the pure-blood sith holding a data-pad in her hand. "What it is Deedrah?" he asked as he looked up from his work desk. Just from the look in her eyes, he knew something BIG had come up.

"My lord... I have very bad news," Deedrah had a very worried look on her face, when she handed over the data-pad with the info saying, *BREAKING NEWS*

"No-no, NO... not now!" Imperious shouted in frustration, as he read. This was followed by a message from Darth Mortis, ordering him to attend a meeting at his palace immediately. "I have been summed by Lord Mortis this instant! Carry on until my return." He quickly ordered and left for the speeder platforms, before Deedrah had a chance to reply.

IN HYPERSPACE: onboard the Silent Fang

As Terrow were thoroughly studying the galaxy chart, to see if he could pinpoint exactly where this planet *N5* could be located, he got an high alert message on his comm-link. He checked the message... the headline alone made his face turn pale and he uncontrollably burst out. "SHIT!"

In the armory, Briza heard quick footsteps coming her way. She turned to see her brother entering the room, one glance on Terrow's expression told her something was seriously bad. "What is it!?"

With a heavy heart Terrow uttered, "The treaty of Coruscant have been broken! We are at war... once again with the republic!"
