Having rested for a bit, and after checking there was nothing of the utmost importance. Briza decided to track down her brother's location, mostly out of simple curiosity.
While keeping her presents in the force at a low, mostly just as an exercise on her part, she used the force to track her brothers to a bar called The Happy Hutt.
As Terrow was patiently waiting for a better hand to play, he noticed out of the corner of his eye that his elder sister entered the bar and spotted them almost immediately. At a second glance, he noticed she was wearing a long black jacket, with the hint that she was wearing loose festive clothes for a change. To him it was still a little strange to see his sister out of her usual battle armor, but he gave her a slight smile regardless.
Mathorn, who was very fixated on the game, suddenly sensed a familiar present behind him. "Hi sis? So you finally got out of that boat I see." As soon as those words had left his mouth, he felt his throat getting a quick but painful choke.
Briza gave him an angry glare. "Call me sis again! And I will smack your face until you will be unrecognizable to anyone in your family!"
"Ouch! Please don't." Mathorn suddenly remembered to keep shut about the sibling thing.
The bothans looked up in surprise at the newcomer's angry outburst, with one of them asking. "Sooo... Are you their boss?"
"I am just the one to keep these two in check." Briza stated her position.
"Remember, we are still on our leave." Terrow commented in irritation, playing his part. "Try the local brew, it's good."
As soon as those words were said, a tall brown human politely offered her a drink, in the form of the local Wazapa... which Briza declined without a second thought, much to the Human's dismay. Just to make a statement, she went to the bar and ordered the most expensive drink possible, which the bartender happily served her. It was a dark purple drink with small crystal-like bubbles fizzing. Though expensive, it did however have a taste to match, in fact this might be one of the best drinks she had ever tried. "They certainly know their drinks. Maybe I should buy a few containers of this stuff." She pondered to herself, as she took another delightful sip.
As Briza was enjoying her drink, a large dark skinned human male came up to her, oozing with self confidence, he said the following line. "Hey, you look totally awesome. Kinda like a female version of me."
Briza just raised an eyebrow at him, she shook her head and replied in a cold voice. "You are not even top teen in this place." Without bother looking, she could sense this big man's self worth burst like a balloon, as he slowly left her. Later some of the bar's patriots, mostly human, were trying to make a casual conversation with her, however none peeked her interest, mostly because they seemed too stupid and backwards for her to play along. Also their basic was heavily accented, which annoyed her slightly. Even when a green twi'lek female tried to invite her over to a table with a group of various female races, she really didn't feel for it.
Without really looking at any of them, Briza casually walked over to see how her brothers were doing and so far... Terrow pretty much controlled the game and most of the credits that were in play. It was clear that Terrow was cheating his way to victory, not that she could figure out how he was manipulating the game in his favor... Mathorn on the other hand had lost most of everything he had possessed at the beginning. "Not doing so sharply I see." She commented nonchalantly.
"I'm pretty much gameover at this point." Mathorn honestly admitted, and a moment later, he handed the last of his credits to Terrow, who by now was getting glaring eyes from all his opponents.
One of the bothans especially felt vexed, as he also handed all his credits to the orange zabrak. "You lucky bastard! Of course you had the 'idiot's-array' when I finally achieved 'sabacc'. Just perfect..."
Both the bith and the last bothan tried to recuperate their losses, but it was all in vain. When the game was over, Terrow rose and spoke to them all. "Gentlemen, it have been a pleasure playing with you tonight."
"Well it was... interesting meeting you all." The bith said in a bitter tone. Followed up by one of the bothans saying. "You must be the luckiest zabrak in the galaxy."
"Tonight maybe, but not always." Terrow replied with a slight smile.
With Briza slowly nodding. "Not always?" She said in a low voice.
Terrow wasn't completely sure if they suspected him of cheating, but they all left without saying anything.
"So guy's, should we stay here a little longer, or should we find a place to dance all night long?" Briza suggested in good spirit.
"You certainly have regained your energy Boss." Terrow chuckled a bit.
"A girl needs to have some fun once in a while, don't you think?" Briza implied in a surprisingly innocent tone.
This perplexed Mathorn for a moment, since he had never seen this side of his elder sister. "I don't know you are anymore... Boss."
She just smiled at him in return. "We are all full of surprises."
Mathorn wanted to say this out loud, but he just smiled widely while thinking. "I have the most awesome sister in the galaxy."
"Gentlemen, shall we take our leave?" Briza politely suggested again.
"PARTY TIME!" Mathorn exclaimed. They paid for their drinks and ventured out to find a decent nightclub.
As they wandered the streets above the treetops alone and out of earshot, Mathorn asked, although he more or less knew the answer. "So... Did you cheat?"
"I might have." Terrow grinned slightly. "Which reminds me. Do you always use the force when playing a game? I doubt it's the jedi way." He pointed out.
Mathorn shook his head. "Try and play a game with Tikala. Even in the simplest of games, she cannot stop using the force while playing."
"I'm actually curious Dex, how much did you win?" Briza asked, remembering to use his cover name.
Terrow made a quick calculation in his mind. "About three-thousand credits."
"So... cousin. Are we going to celebrate your glorious win?" Mathorn said with a huge undertone of hinting to something.
Terrow sighed slightly. "Why not, let it be the reason."
Just following the sound of music, they found a several stories high nightclub built into a GIGANTIC sparkling tree, with a sign the size of their spaceship spelling 'Botanic Galaxy' in all the colors of the rainbow.
Though they all had seen other equally impressive nightclubs from their respective systems, it was still a sight to behold. Every inch of the tree was decorated with light in all colors and with tens of thousands of people entering or exiting the club every minute.
Terrow whistle slightly as he gazed up at the tree. "I wonder if this is a real tree or an artificially made... bit of both maybe."
"I am so hyped right now!" Mathorn uttered with glee.
"Then let's check the inside." Briza commanded and led them to the entrance, where they paid and entered.
If the tree was well lit from the outside, it pales in comparison to the inside. The roof was decorated as a galaxy spanning tree with thousands of planets hanging from it's branches. It was all lit up by huge star-fighter sized holo-projectors, sparkling and flickering in rhythm to the loud high beat music, that reverberated around the main dance floor, larger than most hanger they had seen, containing millions of guests from all over the galaxy, dancing wildly among each other.
To the left side, a half a mile long bar was serving swizzling drinks to thousands of customers, with signs pointing to refreshes practically placed below for ease of use. "The first drink is on me." Terrow announced with a smile and led them to the bar.
As they walked among the big crowds, Mathorn found himself absorbed by a huge amount of attractive females dancing around and for a short moment he was separated from his siblings. If not for the force, he might not have been able to locate them again.
When Mathorn showed up, Briza commented a warning to him. "Keep your use of the force at a minimum. I sense other force sensitives around here, and I doubt their jedi."
"Yes milady." Mathorn replied, in the manner he visioned Jonathan would do it. Now that he thought about his old friends at home, he kinda wanted to show them this amazing place.
Briza could only grin, as she saw Mathorn stare at one girl after another. "If I really wanted to turn him away from the Jedi path, I would only need to take him to such places. His desires alone would do the work for me."
"Three Wazapa please." Terrow ordered, as they reached the bar. As he received the drinks, he handed them to his siblings. "Cheers." He uttered, and raised his glass.
"Cheers." Briza replied cheerfully.
"Skull!" Mathorn exclaimed… Both his family members looked puzzled at him. "What? I learned it from my friend Urr'tah.
While her brothers drank showing a satisfied expression, Briza on the other hand was not too keen on this drink, too sweet for her liking, although she did find the taste somewhat refreshing.
"Not one of your favorites?" Terrow asked, seeing her reaction.
Briza shrugged. "No, too sweet." She then ordered a purple drink, similar to the one she had at the Happy Hutt. But as she was casually enjoying her drink, she got the sense of someone staring intensely at her.
A young blond human guy had an eye for the female zabrak and decided to make his move. "What's up babe, you look stunning. Do you come here often?" Though somewhat good looking... he seemed to have no brain to speak off.
At first Briza wanted to tell this moron to get lost, but decided against it in favor of something more sinister. In a surprise to everyone around, especially the human involved, she grabbed him and kissed him... using a minimum amount of Force Drain, completely invisible to the spectators. The human got very tired and extremely dizzy, he had trouble even keeping his balance, carefully he dared to walk away... shaky and slowly in a pathetic display. To her brothers, who stood beside her, Briza smirked. "Tastes like energy."
Mathorn, who was kinda shocked, replied. "You are a scary kisser!"
"Remind me never to kiss you, seems dangerous." Terrow just casually commented.
Briza just laughed in return. "Whatever you say, come on boys let's dance."
A few seconds later, they joined tens of thousands of people dancing to the fast paced rhythms of the music, while completely bathed in vivid colors.
It didn't take long before both Briza and Terrow had found a dance partner, with Mathorn feeling slightly jealous, or just a little envious. Though after a little search he did manage to find a short green twi'lek, who seemed to like him well enough for a dance or two.
In the masses of the dancing crowd, the three siblings got separated, Mathorn somehow ended up dancing with a group of togrutas, who tried to make a dancing circle with as many people as possible. Later on they tried to make a dancing pyramid consisting of people dancing on top of each other... which quickly escalated into jumping on and off each other's shoulders. Many of the togrutas were impressed by Mathorn's willingness to play along with their moves, as most other species, including other zabraks, had left their group because of their wild acrobatic dances.
Terrow, who was taking a short break from all that intensive dancing, had gone back to the bar to get a refreshment. He was watching Mathorn and the togrutas performing stunts like dance moves... when he suddenly noticed a drink being offered to him. Two female humans and a young zabrak girl were smiling at him. "Hi darling, I see you are lonely, can we be of assistance?" Spoke the oldest of their group.
"Thank you ladies. What an honor I have been given." Terrow replied polity and smiled as he accepted the drink. At first, he thought that the humans were playing wingmen to the young zabrak, but whilst that may have been their original intention, it seemed clear just from a look in their eyes, that the humans too took an interest in him.
While at first, it was really intriguing to speak to these ladies, as they in turn revealed more and more of themselves. Terrow mostly out of old habit, introduced himself as Daxten Halen. As they conversed, it quickly escalated out into a fight of dominance between the three women.
In the meantime, Briza had been invited over to a large table by two well dressed young human gentlemen. Whilst at first glance they seemed a bit arrogant in the way they held themselves, mostly because of the dozens of waiters constantly at their service and guards surrounding them at all times. But as they sat down at a private lounge overlooking the dancefloor, it became clear to her that it was their curiosity that was driving them. They spoke to her well mannered and very politely, offering her any drinks or snacks she might desire.
Because of her red skin and her expensive looking dress, they assumed Briza was a successful merchant or business woman from imperial territories. Though she decided to play along with their assumption of her to remain somewhat anonymous... she kinda wanted to tell them she was actually a dangerous sith lord, just to see their reaction. She could picture their terrified faces as she ignited her red lightsaber that she had hidden away under her dress... But this way she instead had the opportunity to get some inside knowledge on how the political system worked on this remote neutral planet.
As the rich gentlemen began asking deeper into her personal life, Briza just told them flat out. "It has been a pleasure." And left them in a state of confusion. "Time to get back to reality." she thought to herself and began looking around.
Briza found Mathorn hanging out with a female togruta who tried to persuade him to permanently join their group of stunt performers.
"Sorry girl, I have a job to do, cargo to deliver and stuff." Mathorn tried excuse himself,
"But you could get a job together with us! What's holding you back?" She almost pleaded.
"Because he doesn't want to get fired." Briza said firmly. Very much to the dismay of the Togruta, who gave her a death glare in return.
"Sorry I have to end it here, it was really nice meeting you." Mathorn said his farewell in an apologetic tone.
The togruta was both sad and angry, but she found it in herself to replay in a soft tone. "It was nice meeting you too..." And added before he was out of earshot. "Come find me if you change your mind."
"I'll remember!" Mathorn shouted back. "...There goes my soul mate."
Briza smiled as she heard his longing voice. "It sounds like you have had some fun tonight."
Mathorn smiled in turn as he replied. "You bet I did, those togrutas are really fun to hangout with."
They found Terrow in a similar situation, with two human girls seemingly fighting over him and the young zabrak seemingly giving up competing.
"Sorry hotshot, duty calls." Briza ordered as she and Mathorn grabbed Terrow, dragged him away from the bar in a mostly comedian fashion, trying to make it look like this was how they usually behaved.
If the togruta girl seemed to wish Briza´s death from taking Mathorn away... these humans seemed to want to murder her on the spot from just touching Terrow. "HOW DARE YOU!" The humans yelled in unison, with the young zabrak looking shocked at their aggressive outbursts and the colorful insults that followed.
"If he wants to get home to his wife and kids this week, he better follow orders." Briza just replied firmly, silencing the human's discredit of her and of her mother.
"I was his first man." Mathorn smirked back at them. Perplexing the women to a state of disbelief.
Terrow had to hide a laugh, as he was being dragged out of the club by his siblings. Only when they were out of sight, was he released. "Well that was an... experience." Terrow laughed. "Had I know I had a wife and kids to look after, I may not have spoken with these ladies to begin with."
"We are always happy to assist with a little improvised joke." Mathorn laughed in turn.
"And ruin a couple of girls' marriage dreams." Briza added with a smile. Her expression then turned more serious. "Let's return to our ship, we have spent enough time on fun distractions for now."
