We now present to you a special presentation brought to you by Sinnoh City Police force in:

#69: Sinnoh's Traffic Solution

A female reporter standing on a bridge above a freeway with traffic bustling by, holding a microphone.

"For years traffic in our region has been growing rapidly worse. People speed, run traffic lights, drive slowly in the fast lane, violate the simplest rules of driver courtesy and road rage has become one of the most common symptoms of the everyday driver. Police have tried many ways, such as higher fines and jail time to combat these ills but nothing it seems has helped. As of today, in Sinnoh, home of the world's worst traffic, an elite police team has been developed to combat bad drivers.

The scene switches to a roof top where a sniper is sitting, watching the traffic drive below him intently. The reporter's voice speaks, though the reporter is off-screen.

"They are called Sinnoh Elites and their mission: to shoot anyone who violates a traffic rule on the spot."

The sniper continues to watch the traffic, when he sees the next offender.

"She didn't use her turn signal!" the sniper says as he aims carefully and fires at the car which subsequently crashes into a building. Screams are heard soon after.

The scene switches to an interview set up where two snipers are sitting in chairs somewhat uncomfortably while the reporter questions them. One of the snipers was none other than Officer Jenny.

"Well, I think most of the team used to be in the military. I know that once I got out, I got a letter asking me if I would like to join some sort of elite force that would bring traffic into control again," the male sniper states.

"And so you just joined up?" the reporter asks.

"Well, hell yeah. I live in the suburbs. You have no idea how difficult it is to drive into Jubilife City during rush hour," the male sniper adds.

Now down in the streets, people are rushing up to the car that was previously shot. Paramedics are rushing the driver away. The reporter questions one of them.

"Have you noticed an increase in traffic deaths since the Sinnoh Operatives have been in place?" the reporter asks.

"Oh yeah, definitely. I mean, there are a lot of bad drivers out there," the paramedic responds.

"And you don't see any problem with them being shot dead?" the reporter questions.

"Well, I suppose on some quasi-moral level it may be wrong, but let's face it: There are a lot of bad drivers out there. Half the time when we're racing to go save Mr. Joe Blow Heart Attack, the cars on the road never pull to the side so we can get by. They just keep on driving like there's nothing more important than making it home to watch the game. I actually suggested we hire a few of them to work out of our ambulance-you know shoot the morons who don't pull over. But they decided it would be counterproductive," the paramedic explains.

"How so?" the reporter asks.

"We'd have to stop and throw them in back. Look, can't you see I'm kinda busy here?" the paramedic says, looking around a bit nervously.

The reporter turns back to the camera.

"And there you have it! Remember folks, drive safely, or else you just might find yourself within someone's sniper scope," the reporter says, concluding the broadcast.

Butch, Cassidy, and Alolan Meowth all look at one another after watching this news report from their Pokedex as they walked the sidewalks through the city.

"You see what you started with your horrible driving, Butch?!" Cassidy exclaims while facepalming.

"Yikes…I didn't realize Sinnoh was THAT aggressive in their laws," Butch says with an embarrassed laugh.

"Looks like we really are hoofing it to the next hideout," Alolan Meowth mutters whilst rolling his eyes at the inconvenience Butch has created.

And this, folks, is what happens when you don't obey the law. Just be sure not to jay-walk or anything. Please review and stay tuned to the next chapter to see!
