"Don't forget to grab my make-up bag from behind that suitcase Justin!" Alex yelled her last command before stepping out of the compartment to find Cedric.

She walked past the other students who were carrying their stuff out of the train. Alex smiled to herself. Sucks for them. They don't have a Max or a Justin to carry their things for them. Alex looked past all the people walking through the halls of the train, frowning when she couldn't locate her tall, brown-haired boyfriend. He's tall... he should've be hard to find. Maybe he made it outside already?

She finally located an exit and tried to navigate towards it. She frowned when she ended up stuck behind Neville Longbottom, who was struggling to lift a giant suitcase out of the train. Alex crossed her arms, tapping her foot impatiently as she waited for Neville to get out of the way. This dude was already not on my good side. Now this? Alex waiter a while longer, her patience thinning more and more. That's it! She finally gave up and shoved Neville forward, causing him to crash into his suitcase. Neville and his suitcase fell to the floor outside the train. Alex stepped off the train, looking down at Neville with an unimpressed look.

Neville stared up at her with a look of shock. "Did you just shove me?"

"No blood, no foul." Alex shrugged before walking away from him.

Alex scanned the train station, continuing the search for her boyfriend. Where was he? Alex looked towards the train again to see Justin and Max stepping out. Guess it's time to give up. Alex frowned as she started to make her way towards her brothers. She was halfway there when she felt two hands grab at her stomach, she flinched for a second before she realized who it was. She smiled as Cedric pulled her close to him, as he turned her so they were facing each other.

"Looking for me, love?"

Alex smirked. "No, I was actually looking for Draco Malfoy. Have you seen him anywhere?"

She turned away from him but was stopped as Cedric's hands went to her waist again and her turned her back toward him. He stared at her with a frown.

"Hey, you know I'm only kidding, right?" She gave him a playful smile as she wrapped her arms around him. He sighed, relaxing into their embrace.

"Yeah… I guess I should know that your taste in men would never reach Malfoy. That's just horrid." He gave her a playful smile.

"Never." She smiled.

Cedric pulled her into a hug, leaning to her ear. "I'm happy you found me."

"I wanted to say goodbye one more time. I'm going to miss you so much this summer. Will you call me?"

Cedric pulled away from her slightly to look at her. "Call you? But I don't have your telephone number." He raised an eyebrow at her.

Of course. She had totally forgotten that the British wizards were still living in the century where cellular phones didn't yet exist.

She grabbed his arm and pulled out a pen from her pocket. Cedric watched in confusion as she wrote down her number on his arm. "This is my personal number meaning you can only reach me with this number. This is separate from the phone in my house. Don't lose this number." She smiled as he nodded towards her appreciatively.

"Well then, expect my call regularly. I already miss your beautiful smile, your mischievousness, your sweet voice, and most importantly your kisses." He leaned in, giving her a quick peck on the lips.

"Well, I think you deserve a kiss to remember me by then, don't you?" Alex looked at him mischievously before twisting her fingers in his hair and pulling his face to hers. When their lips met, she was reminded our their first kiss. In the forest, near the water, in his arms, it was perfect. This moment is perfect.

Their perfect moment was interrupted when she heard a forced cough near them. Cedric pulled away from Alex, looking at her apologetically as Alex frowned. They turned in the direction of the cough to see Justin, Max, and their 'parents' looking at Alex awkwardly.

"Hey mom! Hey dad!" She smiled at them innocently as she linked arms with Cedric. She glanced at her boyfriend to see him looking at her family in embarrassment.

"Hi Alex. Don't you want to introduce us to your friend over here?" Jerry looked at her expectantly.

"Right. Mom, dad, this is my boyfriend Cedric Diggory. Cedric, these are my parents, Jerry and Teresa Russo." Alex looked between them nervously as Jerry took Cedric's hand and shook it firmly. Alex could see the discomfort in both their faces. Jerry may not be her dad, but he had raised her as his daughter since she was a baby. It couldn't have been easy for him to see her kissing a boy like that. As for Cedric... he wasn't very comfortable with PDA in front of her brothers so she could only imagine how uncomfortable he was getting caught making out in front of her parents.

"It's nice to meet you Cedric." Theresa smiled at Cedric sweetly, causing Cedric to relax a little.

"Well, I'm glad you all met but I think it's time for Cedric to go. His dad is probably looking for him. You probably don't wanna make him wait, right Cedric?" She look at Cedric with a smile. He smiled back at her appreciatively.

"Yes, you are right Alex. It was nice to meet the both of you. You have a wonderful daughter." He nodded to them before turning back to me. "I'll see you at the end of the summer for the Quidditch World Cup. I'll introduce you to my father then too." He gave her a smile and wave before turning away. Alex quickly grabbed onto his collar, pulling him towards her for a quick peck on the lips. His face flushed red as he pulled away. He nodded to her parents one last time In embarrassment before quickly walking away. Alex smiles as he disappeared into the crowd.

"That was interesting." Justin commented.

"Hey mom, hey dad." Alex turned to her parents, making air quotes with her fingers as she called them 'mom' and 'dad.' Jerry rolled his eyes at her.

"We need to talk when we get home. Justin told us briefly about what happened." Alex noticed the serious look on his face and realized what he wanted to talk about.

"Let's go home." Alex nodded.

~~~~~
Alex sat on the sofa, waiting for her Uncle Jerry and Aunt Theresa to join them in the lair. The two hadn't said more than a few words to them since they had left the train station in London. After agreeing to speak at home, Alex and Justin ran into Harry, Ron and Hermione. They quickly introduced their friends to their family and said their final farewells before excusing themselves to go home. As soon as Justin has flashed them back to Waverley Place, Jerry and Theresa suggested the kids get themselves settled in while they checked up on the new employees they had hired to work at the substation.
With their belongings unpacked, the three siblings flashed themselves into the lair to wait for their parents. Justin was pacing around the lair impatiently, his mind seemingly elsewhere. Max was seated beside Alex, his eyes mesmerized by the crystal ball sitting on the coffee table. Justin stopped moving as the door to the lair swung open and in entered Jerry and Theresa.
"Good, you all are here." Jerry said as they stopped in front of the kids. Justin moved behind the couch to join them. "So it looks like you guys know now… about your father. Don't get us wrong, we always wanted to tell you the truth, but-"
"But what? What excuse have you cooked up?" Justin crossed his arms over his chest angrily.
Jerry stared at Justin in shock, unsure how to respond to the outburst.
"Justin, honey. We just wanted you two to be safe." Theresa placed a hand on her husband's shoulder as she stepped closer to them
"You sent us to a school where everyone knew who our dad was and knew him as a murderer! You think sending us there and hiding the truth was going to keep us safe? Can you imagine what Alex or I would have gone through if we heard someone talk about him? After all those years of thinking he was dead, having someone tell us that our father was a murderer! And why would you every think for even one second that our dad would hurt us? Even if he was a murderer, he would never hurt Alex or I! Did you guys consider anything besides you own selfish fear of having to tell us the truth?!"
"Justin-"
Before Theresa could continue, Justin interrupted her again. "I can't deny that I always saw you both as my parents, which is why I respected all your warnings. But I lost all respect for you both when I found out my father was alive. You didn't even tell us we have godfathers! I would have wanted to know whether he was alive or dead!"
"Justin-"
This time Jerry tried to speak but Justin cut him off. "No! I can't live with people who have lied to me my entire life! Jerry, Theresa, I thank you for your hospitality all these years but I think we have overstayed our welcome. I am taking my little sister and we are leaving!" Justin walked around the couch and stopped in front of Alex. "Come on Alex, let's go."
Alex looked from her brother to the couple who had raised them as their own. She could see the guilt and hurt from Justin's words on their faces. And while Alex was also mad that they were lied to all these years, she couldn't hurt them like this. Alex looked at Justin as he held out a hand to her expectantly.
"Justin, we can't..."
"Alex, I'm your brother. You have to come with me."
He was right. She couldn't just leave him to go off by himself. But their dad told Justin that they would stay with the Russos. Alex looked pleadingly at her brother. "Justin, you told me that you promised dad we'd stay with them. Are you going to break your promise to him?"
The anger in Justin's eyes softened at the mention of their dad. He stared at her for a while, considering his options before sighing in defeat. He turned back to face Jerry and Theresa.
"Fine, we'll stay." Justin decided. He glanced at Alex again briefly then looked at their parents again. "But I want to make it clear, I can't call you two mom and dad anymore. Our father is alive and it doesn't feel right to call someone else our dad, even our mom. Sirius Black is our dad and Arianna Silvestre is our mom. I want to be able to say that freely at home at the very least. That goes for Alex too. I... I'm sorry" Justin shook his head sadly before heading towards the exit. They all watched him leave the room silently.
Alex looked beside her at Max. He was still staring after Justin, an expression of hurt and shock on his face. Alex looked sadly at Jerry and Theresa who seemed to be in the same state as Max. Not able to form the words to placate them, Alex stood up and left the room.
