I felt sunlight spread across my face; the warm light rousing me awake from my slumber. I open my eyes, seeing that I am no longer in the white void, or in that trippy warp tunnel I was in. The bed creaked as I sat up. My eyes wandered around the small room that contained a sparse amount of furniture. The bed I sat on was located at the end of the room next to a window, the door on the other end.
'I feel like shit.'
Was the first thought that came to mind with a killer headache.
I took a deep breath and exhaled, putting a hand on my head. The feeling of cloth was there. My head was wrapped up in bandages. It looks like I'm injured. Fantastic... That damn jerk.
I think back to what happened to me before waking up; being able to remember what happened unlike last time. The lazy bastard who was responsible for my reincarnation and target of all my irritation seems to have screwed something up. Shouldn't reincarnation have made me start off as a baby? I should have been reborn as a new life in this new world, marveling at how different things are compared to my old one, and learn with a new and loving family. Or at least that's what I believed. But instead of waking up as a baby, I'm in some random old bed with a terrible headache and a head wound, having no clue of where I am, and confused as all hell. I also feel whole lot shorter than I normally am.
What was that guy's problem? Seriously, he was such an ass. Did he mess with the reincarnation process or something? Did I experience "Temporal Soul Displacement"? I'm certainly not dead anymore at the very least.
All of a sudden a dark blue transparent screen popped up in front of me. I jumped back in surprise from the thing, bumping my head against the wall behind me.
*Thud*
"Gah! What the hell!?" I exclaimed while rubbing the back of my head. My damn headache getting worse.
「GREETINGS」
You have successfully been reincarnated, and have now received the benefits of the 『Master System』
You are now able to begin your journey to become the Greatest Master of all time.
What? The 'Greatest Master'? What is it going on about? Does this have something to do with my ability? The shadowy prick certainly didn't tell me enough information to know what's happening. What the hell is going on?
「NOTICE」
『ERRORS』had occurred upon reincarnation, causing you to experience Temporal Soul Displacement.
You were born in this world at the date
December 31, X766
with your memories and system dormant within you for fourteen years.
As of two days ago you were attacked and suffered a major blow to the head that resulted in the system being able to reactivate itself and restore your previous memories and psyche.
Dormant for fourteen years!? I can't believe it! The bastard screwed up my reincarnation and made me miss out on fourteen years of my brand new life! My childhood entirely gone in a flash! That guy is totally the worst!
You are in "Earth Land", the world of "Fairy Tail".
The date is currently
July 2, X781
And as of right now, you are located in an unnamed village, a short distance northeast from Hargeon Town, in the land of Fiore.
Fairy Tail? Isn't that the anime where a whole bunch of powerful wizards with powerful magic face off against powerful enemies and win with the power of friendship? I can't remember all too much, but I'm sure that this world has some pretty scary threats. Everything during and before Tenrou is super hazy in my mind, and I don't know what happened afterwards. I can't recall exactly what went on during each arc, but I believe I should know the important bits. I remember some characters, but I can't help but feel like I'm forgetting some... Damn it, I should know this! It must be that bastard's fault again! I'm sure of it.
But hold on... The year is currently X781, and if I remember correctly then the year that canon starts is the year X784. Then that means...
THERE'S ONLY THREE YEARS UNTIL THE STORY STARTS!
Oh god! I am so not ready for this world! There's no way I can learn Magic good enough from scratch to make a difference that fast! Maybe I should just forget about joining Fairy Tail and live a peaceful life somewhere far, far away. Yeah...maybe that's for the best...
「ALERT」
You have received a new Main Quest
『Making History』
You have been granted a new life to live in Earth Land for an experiment. With higher beings backing this project, you are expected to become an important figure in the future of this world.

This one recommends joining Fairy Tail.
. . .
. . .
. . .
Well... There goes that idea.
Wait a minute...
I should have gotten an ability to help me out, that bastard said so himself.
"Hey, uh...you? Do you think you could tell me if I have any powers or abilities that I should know about? You know, like, Magic?"
「NOTICE」
As stated earlier, you have been granted the
『Master System』.
Related information and details about yourself will be shown on your profile page.
Profile page? What profile page? Am I supposed to have something on me?
I search myself, feeling around my pockets for anything of note.
Nothing.

Out loud.
"Huh? Well, okay then."
*Ahem*I clear my throat.
"Show Profile."
「PROFILE」
Name: Cyril Alerion
Age: 14
Birthday: December 31, X766
The newly reincarnated owner of the 『Master System』. Because of the 『ERRORS』that ocurred before reincarnation, Cyril had gone under "Temporal Soul Displacement", which caused his past self to remain dormant for the first fourteen years of his life, and has only recently awakened.
As the owner, Cyril is able to use multiple abilities from the [Fate] Universe, and improve himself through training and the use of the [Parameter Leveling] function.
Before being overwritten by his past self, Cyril was a normal boy who became a traveler after the death of his parents, touring through all sorts of places in Fiore.
(Information is subject to change in the future.)
Woah! That's pretty handy.
It says here my name is "Cyril Alerion". I am apparently fourteen years old; born on December 31, X766. Hey, I'm around the age of the main cast! It also says I can use abilities from the Fate series. If I recall correctly, it has a bunch of characters with hax abilities and plenty of powerful characters. I never really got to know much of the series as whole, but I do know several things from Fate/Stay Night and couple other things. If I can use things like Gilgamesh's Gate of Babylon I'll be more than set for this world! I might be able to take on super powerful opponents without even moving! How sick is that?
. . .
...What the hell is this?
"Overwritten?" What's that supposed to mean? I thought I reincarnated and just regained my memories, not overwrite somebody!
"Hey! You said I recovered my memories, not overwrite an existing person!" I started to feel pale. The notion of me stealing someone else's body just doesn't sit right with me.
「NOTICE」
Because of the Temporal Soul Displacement, your soul was left dormant; which included your past life's memories and psyche.
During those fourteen years you lived on as Cyril Alerion without any memories of your previous life, developing a new personality.
Upon the reactivation of the system, both personalities and psyches of the one known as Cyril Alerion were found to be incompatible, and awakening your previous life's self would create many 『ERRORS』within the system.
Therefore, the new personality and psyche were erased and replaced with the original.
Holy crap... Doesn't that mean I basically killed a fourteen year old boy? If he was just living his own life and I swooped in and took it over, doesn't that make me a body snatcher? An imposter? A taker of his life...?
Oh jeez, I can feel a cold sweat running all over my body. Am I a child killer now? A youth murderer? I can't even remember who I was in my past life, so do I deserve this second chance at life at the cost of another? I don't know... And I don't think I wanna know the answer to that question.
This one recommends you to not think about it too hard.
You are Cyril Alerion, and Cyril Alerion has always been you.
Technically, if you have "killed" Cyril Alerion, then you have not actually killed anyone else, as Cyril Alerion is you.
So therefore, you killed yourself.
. . .
. . .
. . .
. . .That doesn't make me feel any better at all.
*Click*
I look towards the sound of the door opening from the other side of the room. From the door comes in a short old lady with gray hair in a high bun. She was wearing a pink martial arts style qipao, with red rims, and black sleeves. Her baggy pants were also black, and wore some sort of martial arts slippers. She walked in with a tray holding a bucket of water and a towel. She seems to be the one who's been nursing me. She notices me up, and quickly comes to the side of the bed.
"Oh dear! You shouldn't be up yet." She says as she places the tray down on the floor, inspecting my face, turning my head in several directions, looking at all angles.
"You look quite pale. You should rest a bit more, please lie back down." She gently pushes me back into bed and began checking my bandages.
It seems she can't see the screen. How convenient. I won't have to explain about the weird blue window floating in the air; though I'm sure I could've gotten away with it by just calling it my magic.
"Have you experienced any headaches, nausea, or sluggish movements?" She asked.
"When I woke up I had a headache, but no nausea. I also move just fine. I assume you've been the one taking care of me, miss...?" I responded
"Michelle." She answered. "The people usually call me Doc Michelle. I'm sort of the local Doctor in this little village. I don't believe I'm fit for the title, but I've patched up quite a number of people during my time as a mercenary, so people usually come to me for healing. You're currently in the place that everyone likes to call 'The Old Doc's Clinic', which is to say, my house." She continues to inspect my bandages, checking my head wound.
"It's quite the injury you have there. One of the people found you right outside our village, completely unconscious while sporting a pretty bad hit to the head. Why, if Victoria hadn't found you so soon you may have died there from blood loss." She informs me of my head injury.
Great, almost died without having a chance to live my second life. Totally off to a great start here... I blame that shady bastard for everything that's happening. The prick is probably laughing at me right now.
She looked at my clothing.
I was wearing an open beige sleeveless jacket with black rimmings, and a white buttoned up shirt with red outlining the edges with the collar popped out. My pants were black; a bit cut up from what I assumed had happened when I was attacked. I also had a red tie to top it all off.
"It seems you were attacked by the local bandits. They usually don't cause problems for us in the village as we do have a couple capable fighters, but I can't say the same for outsiders. Looks like they're targeting travelers who come near the village, and since you didn't have a single item on you when you were found, I'd say they robbed you blind and left you for dead." She sighs, looking away with a melancholic expression. "Seems like wherever I go it's always the same. Folks just never leave each other alone." There's a story there, but it's probably best I don't ask about it.
「ALERT」

"Never should have come here!"
~Random Bandit
Looks like I get Quests from this type of stuff as well. Retrieve my stolen things? Alright, but how the hell do I even find them? Not exactly a tracker or hunter, wouldn't know how to look for them as I am now. Maybe I can ask the people around for help. Or ask the system if it has anymore of its "Recommendations".
"If you don't mind me asking, where are you from Sonny? You don't exactly seem like the type to just be wandering around our village for no reason. You wanna tell me what you were doing before you were brought to this quaint little home of mine?" She asked.
I open my mouth to respond to her. But as I was thinking of what to tell her, I realized I–again–couldn't remember anything about myself. It seems that not only was the personality and psyche of the previous Cyril erased, but his memories are gone too. I can't remember anything during my fourteen years on Earthland.
Crap...what do I say? That I'm an other worlder that has been reincarnated and just now has regained his previous life's memories but forgot the rest of his current life? Yeah right, she'll think I'm crazy. No one in their right mind would reveal that they were reincarnated to random people. I'm most likely taking this secret to the grave, for better or for worse.
"I uhh...umm..uhh... I don't remember." I replied lamely. "I think I have amnesia. I can't remember anything about myself besides my name." Not a lie, but not the complete truth either.
"Oh my, you poor boy." She looks at me with a pitiful expression. "Having to deal with this kind of thing at such a young age. Well, if there's anything you need, just ask." She says while softly patting me on the head. Looks like she believed me.
"I think I'd like to be alone for now please. You know, to gather my thoughts." I need a moment to check with the system. I'm not entirely sure of what to do right now, so I hope the floating screen will be able to point me in the right direction.
"Yes, of course. Please do try to relax for a second. Get your bearings." She picks up the tray and walks back through the door, closing it with a *click*.
I keep an eye on the door, the sound of the old Doc's footsteps getting more faint each step. I get back up and look towards the screen. "Hey system, you got any more of those 'Recommendations'? 'Cause I don't have a clue on how to start my 'Journey'. So a little help would be nice."
「NOTICE」
The 『Master System』 comes with a "Starter Pack" for new users.
Your Starter Pack has not yet been claimed.
This one recommends you claim it.
To claim your Starter Pack, say:
"Menu"
Tap on the Inventory tab, then tap on the item "Starter Pack".
Seriously? A Starter Pack? How nice of it to include such a thing. If only a certain lazy God was like this then I wouldn't have been screwed over so much. What a nice system, more should follow its example.
This one thanks you for the compliment.
"Menu." I state aloud.
The blue screen changes to a list of different tabs to choose.

I tapped on the Inventory tab; the screen changing, now showing a large amount of empty blue squares. The first space was shown to contain the Starter Pack.
Wow, that's a lot of storage. I can fit anything in here? Imagine how much stuff I can bring around!
Another blue window pops up to my right
「NOTICE」
The Inventory will only work on items that come from the system.
The user is not allowed to store items from the overworld inside.
Oh, so I can't just pick up anything and throw it in my inventory. Man, and here I thought I'd be able to do some cool stuff with it, like showing someone something in my hands, and with a flick of the wrist it'd disappear into my inventory. A pretty cool magic trick, though I don't know how cool the trick would be in a world with actual magic now that I think about it.
*Tap*
I tapped on the first square, containing the gift box that was labeled "Starter Pack". The Inventory space was now empty. Motes of blue light started gathering, with the Starter Pack materializing right in my hands. I unwrapped the box and opened it. Inside were four cards; the first one being labeled "Catalyst", the next two had the word "Skill" on them, with the fourth card having "FP" on it. All items vanished in motes of blue light right in my hands, including the box.
–Random Summoning Catalyst received and stored in inventory
–Magecrafts Reinforcement and Structural Analysis received
–1,500 FP received
My mind was flooded with information of the two Magecraft spells I received.
Reinforcement would allow me to "enhance" an object's existence by pouring magical energy into it. The enhancements to said existences would be something like: increasing the sharpness of a knife, the nourishment in food, or in the case of living creatures, their physical strength, durability, and abilities. It usually requires a good understanding of the object so you wouldn't flood it and end up destroying it, as too much Reinforcement may lead to an object breaking and exploding from the inside. It's actually a pretty difficult Magecraft to master. I'd hate to see what would happen if I were to screw up Reinforcing myself. Eugh...
Structural Analysis was something fairly simple to understand. If I use Structural Analysis then I'll be able to understand an object's structure and design as if viewing a blueprint. This is practically a perfect partner for Reinforcement, as I'll be able to structurally grasp an object and understand its limits so I won't destroy it by accident with Reinforcement. Though I don't think I can use it on living beings.
I remember that these two Magecrafts were prominently used by Shirou Emiya. One memorable moment was that he managed to Reinforce a poster that was able to fend off Lancer's spear for a little while, even though he was toying with him. Still quite impressive really.
Although I've learned these Magecrafts by having information being implanted into my brain, I can't exactly say I'm good at them, since I haven't actually used Magecraft or Magic before. I'll have to practice later.
I looked back to my Inventory and spotted a pair of earrings that have now been stored inside. This thing's a Catalyst? I'm pretty sure that in Fate terms, catalysts are items with connections to Heroic Spirits that call the specific Servants that are connected to said item. If I were to summon a Servant with something like Avalon as the Catalyst, I'd summon the Saber Class Servant Arturia Pendragon. And now I have a pair of earrings that should call a specific Servant.
. . .
. . .
I don't remember who's catalyst this is...
Crap...
「ITEM」
『Cú Chulainn's earrings』
A pair of ovaloid silver earrings worn by Cú Chulainn. They were engraved with Original Runes, inscribed by Chulainn.
It is used to as a catalyst to summon forth the Lancer Class Servant
Cú Chulainn
Wow, thanks system. I knew I could count on you.
Cú Chulainn... I'm pretty sure he was the Lancer in the Grail War of Stay Night. He's a force to be reckoned with, being someone who many call Irish Hercules. He's got speed, survivability, and a pretty good Noble Phantasm. Now that I have his catalyst, how does this summoning thing work?
「HEROIC SUMMONING」
As a Master you are able to summon Servants thanks to the System.
In order to summon forth a Heroic Spirit, you will need to use a Catalyst for the system to use and call forth the Servant.
This one recommends finding a flat and open area for you to summon.
Sounds good to me. Let's make this the first thing I do. If I summon a Servant then I'll be able to easily take on those bandits. No way will those guys be able to handle a Servant.
Servants are Heroic Spirits of Legend. Their fantastical abilities are portrayed in their stories and tales; things such as splitting mountains, slaying Gods, doing impossible tasks, and more. The more well known the Servant is, the stronger they are. They're way more powerful than humans, even a servant with E rank stats would still be ten times more powerful than the normal person. I've gotta get a Servant, pronto!

~Arturia Pendragon
Say no more!
I got off my bed, stumbling as I stood up. Man, I really do feel shorter. I wobbly made my way towards the door, opening it. On the other side of it was a hallway, the room I came from was on one side, with another door on the opposite end from my room labeled as "Washroom". I guess I could at least freshen up a bit, maybe check out my appearance.
I entered the Bathroom. It was a small room, but it had a toilet and sink with a mirror above it. I made my way to the sink and began removing my bandages. With all my bandages off I was able to finally see what I looked like.
I looked into the mirror and froze.
'Arturia!?'
. . .
No, wait...
My blonde hair is wilder, with the bangs split in middle. Arturia's hair and face is more elegant and slightly more fine-textured. I look similar, but not exactly the same. In fact, I'd say I look a lot more like Mordred!
'WHAT THE HELL!?' I yelled internally. I brought my hands up to my face; feeling all around it, making sure this was real. And unfortunately it was, as I confirmed it with a pinch of my soft cheeks.
Compared to Mordred, my hair is shorter, completely lacking the ponytail she usually wore. My eyes were also different; being amethyst purple instead of the teal green Arturia and Mordred had. All in all, I just look like a slightly more masculine version of Mordred, but still fairly androgynous. People will most likely see me as a guy, but it's still possible they could mistake me for a girl.
That dark, lazy, shady, slimy, irresponsible, no-good dirtbag! He really couldn't bother making me a new face! Not that I don't like how Arturia and Mordred look like(quite the opposite really), but if I were to summon any Knights of the Round then it'll get really awkward. Even more so with Mordred herself! I'll get called an imposter, a fake, or a look-alike!
Haaaah...how annoying. Of course that bastard had to screw with me again. He got lazy and just made slight modifications to Mordred's face and slapped me in.
Wait a minute...
I look down towards my lower body, staring at my "zone".
There's no way right? My Profile said I was a boy, but Mordred says the same thing about herself but she's really a girl.
I slowly bring my hands to my waist, hands grabbing onto my waistband and underwear. He wouldn't have...would he?
I pull them away.
. . .
. . .
. . .
"Phew..." A breath of relief hits me. Looks like he wasn't that much of an ass after all.
. . .
Damn...
Would Mordred be packing this much if she were a guy? Should I thank that bastard? Actually, I think I'd rather die again than thank him.
. . .
I should really stop ogling at my own body.
I let go of my waistband and underwear, my eyes back towards the mirror. I stare at the face looking back at me.
'Well, what's done is done I guess. Looks like I'll just have to deal with it. At least I can be considered a pretty boy.'
I should find Doc Michelle and ask if there's an open area somewhere around here.
I turn on the water, the faucet running with water magic. I wash my face, clean up, and exit soon after.
"Well, well, so this is where you were." Outside the bathroom waiting for me was Doc Michelle.
"So you're well enough to be moving around I see. You shouldn't push yourself, but if you believe you can walk around fine now then who am I to stop you." She continues.
"Ah, Doc Michelle, I was actually just about to go look for you." I said
"Oh? And what would need from this lady?"
"Do you know where an open area is? Preferably someplace quiet perhaps?" I'd rather not have to explain what I was doing if someone were to be there watching.
"Hmm..." She cups her chin, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Try the open glade in the forest behind my house. No one ever really comes around these parts unless they need me to heal someone, so the forest will most likely be empty."
"Right, thanks." I thanked her and began walking down the hall. It's time to go summon a Servant.
"The exits the other way Sonny." She calls out.
I stopped in my tracks, a small blush of embarrassment settling on my face. I quickly turned around and began walking in the other direction.
'Right, I totally knew that...'
(Forest)
I've been walking around in this damn forest for 2 hours straight... I think I'm lost. I guess I should have asked for more directions before going off on my own. She said that the open area was in the forest behind her house, but I've been wandering around for a while and it looks like I'm going in circles. Everything looks the same! How do people navigate through this area?
. . .
Walking through a set of bushes I finally found the glade in the forest. The open area was clear of any objects or debris, no bushes or trees occupying the space. There was also a deep river nearby, a variety of fish swimming around in it. This looked like a good enough place.
"So... Could you run that by me again?" I ask.
「NOTICE」
『Heroic Summoning』through the system can only be achieved with Catalysts.
Once you have acquired a catalyst and have found an appropriate space, place the catalyst on the ground and take several steps back.
Face the catalyst, then raise your hand towards it, and repeat the words that are transmitted into your mind.
I was excited and nervous at the prospect of summoning a Servant. A powerful being that would either spell the end for me if we don't get along, or support me for most likely the rest of my life if we do.
"Okay...I've got this. Deep breaths, calm your nerves, don't mess up." I psyched myself up as I placed down the earrings right in the middle of the glade. I take several steps back raising my hand, palm facing the earrings, the back of my hand facing me. The words will come to me; just gotta repeat whatever I hear in my head. I took another deep breath, closing my eyes as I did. I opened them back up as I exhaled. And with that I begin the incantation.
"Let silver and steel be the essence.
Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation.
Let this world be the land I pay tribute to.
Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall.
Let the four cardinal gates close.
Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate."
A Magic circle forms underneath the earrings; a shining clear blue light radiating from it. It continued to pulse as I chanted further. A faint bruise began forming on the back of my hand.
"I hereby declare;
Your body shall serve under me,
My fate shall be your sword,
Submit to the beckoning of the System,
If you will submit to this will and this reason…Then answer!"
The circle began to glow brighter and brighter with each phrase I spoke, magical energy coalescing and condensing in the air around the circle. The wind began to go wild, pushing against me and everything else in the vicinity; trees shaking, leaves flying through the air, my hair and clothes fluttering about. The wind pressure forces me to close one of my eyes. I stood my ground, and continued the incantation.
"An oath shall be sworn here!
I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven.
I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell!"
I feel a burning sensation on the back of my hand. A red sigil appeared on top of it, engraving itself onto my hand. The mark that would forever connect me to my Servants for as long as I live. My Command Seals. Three claims of absolute obedience, the crystallization of a great magic, that a Master has over their Servant.
"From the Seventh Heaven, attended to by three great words of power,
Come forth from the ring of restraints,
Protector of the Holy Balance!"
A blinding flash of light engulfed the area, causing me to shield my eyes. The powerful gale that had been going on had reached its climax; abruptly stopping soon after. I lowered my arm, the view of smoke covered the area around the summoning circle. As the smoke cleared, the summoned Servant's appearance came into view.
A tall, muscular and lean man in ultramarine-blue full body tights. He had grey metallic pauldrons, and a metal plate over his lowest abdominal section. He looked down at me with his blood red eyes, me being only as tall as my head reaching his chest. More smoke cleared and I could see the rest of his face. His blue hair was tied in a rattail that reached his mid back, four strands of hair in the front sticking out across his forehead. The silver earrings on his ears was the very catalyst I used for the summoning. The man gave off an impression of a beast, a hound ready to go on the attack. The blood red spear he held behind him pulsed in a dark distorted red energy; his Noble Phantasm. I blinked as I looked at him. A moment of silence passed. He then flashed a grin, and spoke his very first words to me.
"Yo, Servant Lancer has answered your summon. Well, let's try to have some fun, Master."

'HELL~YES!' I roared internally, fist-pumping.
I summoned my first Servant successfully! The Command Seals on the back of my hand, and this Quest being complete is proof of that. And there was apparently an achievement there as well. I am officially a Master now. I quickly turned back to Lancer.
"Well...I guess it's time for introductions." I started. "The name's Cyril, Cyril Alerion; your brand new Master. Welcome to Earthland, let's go make history!" I raise my hand to him, offering a handshake.
"Hm..?" He cocked his brow, seemingly surprised at the gesture, then took my hand and promptly shook it. "Heh...'make history' you say? That's quite the order you've got for me." He smirks, a smug look appearing on his face. "Big words for such a little Master. You got the skills to back it up? Making History ain't exactly an easy thing to do, especially for someone your age."
"Maybe not right now, but in the future, I'll grow strong enough to really make a difference! I swear that I'll make my mark on this world!" I claimed.
'If I don't then everyone including me are screwed...'
"Quite the ambitious Master I've gotten heh." He chuckled. "Well then...let this guard dog be the first one to join you. Cú Chulainn; Lancer Class Servant, at your command, Master." He introduced himself. Even though I already know who he is, it doesn't hurt to have a good first meeting. Everyone knows that Lancer gets screwed over all the time. This time, it'll be different.
"By the way Master... Are you inept?"
. . .
'Huh?'
"I mean, ever since I was summoned I've been feeling pretty off." He thrusted his spear in the air multiple times, showcasing his speed. It still looks really fast to me. "My attacks aren't nearly as impactful, and my speed's been massively decreased. Not to mention everything else. Aahh...I haven't felt this weak since I broke all my geas'." He says disappointingly.
Weak? Is he being inhibited by something?
"You sure? Still looks really fast to me."
"That's the problem Master, someone like you shouldn't be able to see my movements."
Wow, really?
All of a sudden, a blue window popped up between me and Lancer, surprising the both of us.

Cú Chulainn has the capacity to use the 18 Primordial Runes (Norse Runes), granted by his mentor Scáthach from his studies with her. Although he is a nearly first-rate master, since he himself sees them as a hindrance, he doesn't usually employ them in combat. He appropriately utilizes them to respond to different situations.
Protection from Arrows (B Rank): LOCKED
[Noble Phantasm]
Gáe Bolg (B Rank) (Anti-Unit/Anti-Army):
A cursed spear with an ominous design that was obtained from Scáthach in the Land of Shadows by Cú Chulainn. Gáe Bolg was carved from the remains of Curruid's skull.
Barbed Spear that Pierces with Death: LOCKED
Soaring Spear that Strikes with Death: LOCKED
"S-So low!"
"Hey! What the hell's up with this!?"
We both expressed our thoughts out loud, bewildered as to why Lancer's Parameters and Skills were severely nerfed. And it would seem that Lancer can also see the System.
Oh, Goodie...
「NOTICE」
Normally, a Servant has three factors when it comes to their strength.
『Land』– The closer they are to the stage of their legend, a bigger geographical boost they will receive.
『Recognition』– The more that they are known makes them "stronger", bringing them closer to the strength they had in their legend.
『Magical Energy of the Master』– The more powerful the magical energy of the Master, the greater the Servant will be able to reach the strength they displayed in their legend.
Out of these three factors, two are unable to be used.
As you are in another world,『Land』and 『Recognition』are unable to be factored in.
Therefore, the System had changed it so that the Servant's strength will solely rely on the Master's capabilities.
The more capable the Master is, the more powerful the Servant shall be.
This one recommends checking your stats in the『Menu』.
"Menu!" I quickly open up the menu and tap on the [Stats] tab.

You've gotta be kidding me... The reason Lancer is so nerfed right now is because I'm super weak!? All of his Parameters except Luck went down by two ranks! Most of his skills also got locked as well! Crap, I need get stronger immediately! I refuse be the one holding back my Servants!
"Oi, Master." Lancer calls out to me with a confused expression on his face. "You really planned on 'making history' with these kind of stats? 'Cause the way I see it, you're too weak to be making anything. You can barely be called a 3rd rate Magus at this point; an absolute noob."
I sweatdropped as I looked away, rubbing the back of my head, a nervous smile gracing my lips. "Ehh... I may not have put too much planning into it, but I told you I'd grow in the future right? I just gotta get strong enough right now to make sure your abilities aren't too hindered and so that I can take care of myself. So I gotta train hard! I won't be a liability!" I determinedly stated.
Lancer looked at me with a neutral expression and then sighed. He held his spear so that it rested on his shoulder as his other hand went through his hair. "Hahh...seriously, you really are quite the Master. Alright, let's get you into shape then. Can't have my wimpy little Master dying on me now, can I?" He said with a cocky grin.

'Training with Lancer? I'll have to train with a Servant? Oh man, this is gonna be rough, isn't it?' I thought to myself, fearing for my future health.
Lancer viewed Quest prompt with an inquisitive look. "Oh? A Quest? It seems to have some rewards too, so even more reason for us to begin training. C'mon Master, let's get started!"
I didn't get the chance to say anything as he picked me up by the scruff of my jacket and leapt into the air; towards the ocean. It seems he's already thought up a training method for me.
'Yep. Definitely going to be rough...'
Author's Note
So um...yeah.. First Servant is Cú Chulainn and the system is pretty Gamer-like. Not all Servants are going to be from Stay Night. Though I can't guarantee any Servants from FGO since I don't play the game.
The Servants are getting a nerf at the beginning. Not for too long though as they'll regain their strength as Cyril grows. Hopefully this made enough sense as to why they're getting nerfed for a bit since I don't think them stomping on almost every enemy they come across seems very interesting. Though that doesn't mean they won't be able to stomp on some people. I'd recommend not to focus too hard on the Stats, they're mostly being used to show growth in Cyril and his Servants' strength. They'll get their skills back too.
The next chapter is basically two chapters in one since I didn't think it would be that long, but boy was I wrong. I wanted it to be the last chapter before canon started and didn't really think of how long it was gonna be.
Hope you're enjoying this so far. See you in the next chapter.
Also, I wonder if you noticed the pretty obvious reference with Doc Michelle.
