This is sort of a break from my Blink fic Unexpected Papes. I wrote this for a drabble contest so hopefully ya'll like! Here ya'll go! I know short intro!

That smell. Blink snapped out of his daydream and looked around. Trying to find the location of the scent, he sniffed every few seconds. Where is it? He got up and began to follow a trail of that familiar scent. Where did you go? Blink lost the trail. He sniffed all around him and began walking in a new direction. There you are! Once again he followed the lovely scent.

"Watch it!" a stranger cursed as she spun around. Blink jumped back. He ran into the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. She had blue eyes that had a hint of grey in them, long and wavy brown hair, and beautiful fair skin.

"I'm…I'm sorry," he stammered as he gawked at her.

"Watch where you are going next time." She spun around and began to walk away. Blink took after her. He knew her from somewhere and couldn't put his finger on it.

"Wait! Have we met before?" He stopped her as she was turning the corner.

She looked at him for a minute and actually considered him: his dirty blond hair that he revealed after removing his cap, his blue eye, and his eye patch. "No," she replied quickly as she began to turn to leave.

"I think I know you," Blink quickly stated.

She turned around and considered him again. "I don't believe you do." She turned and walked away. Blink watched her walk and began to ponder for a moment. Never mind, he thought, she's not the mayor's daughter. She's too rude to be considered as the mayor's daughter. Blink hoped for once he would meet the girl of his dreams…but again, the memory of her perfume from the time she bought one of his papers must continue to be enough.
