"Hello, Hello, " CC singsonged as she walked through the Sheffield front door. She glanced at the living room couch and waited a moment for the butler to retrieve her coat.
"Handi-wipe?" She shrugged and put down her brief case to hang up her own coat. After retrieving her briefcase again, she stopped in front of the living room mirror to push her hair behind her ears before saying good morning to Maxwell.

"Why bother? Your kind doesn't have a reflection." The deep voice called from behind her.

She stopped and turned to the butler with her voice icy, "Mm, and what kind is that?"

"The kind that sucks men's blood."

She cocked an eyebrow and slowly took on a haughty smile as she blinked. "Well, at least I'd have a reason…" She leaned toward him locking eyes and slowing her voice. "unlike you, who just…sucks."

He chuckled to himself and put his hand out to her to take her briefcase. She blinked and handed it to him as he turned toward the office with a smirk. "I'll bring this to your usual lair."

She turned in the direction of the kitchen, "Where's Maxwell?"

"In the kitchen with Miss Fine. They're trying to sooth Miss Grace. The poor thing has had her heart broken by a boy at school."

"Ugh." CC turned on her heel away from the kitchen and headed to the office entering after him.

Niles, sighed as he set her briefcase on her spot on the couch. "Too bad, I was looking forward to the view as you left."

"Excuse, me?"

"The sight of you disappearing turns me on." Niles smile grew as he looked down at her.

CC stood straight "Disappearing? Let's talk about invisible men…"

"If I were invisible, you wouldn't always be watching me the way you do. Really Babcock, it's like you can't get enough."

"Me, watch you? Have you lost your-"

Niles' smile grew more before the phone rang. Niles turned to grab the phone and she moved in front of him scooping it up and sitting back halfway on the desk. "CC Babcock, here." She covered the receiver looking at him. "That's two in a row, Buella. Your age is really slowing you down."

Niles squinted an eye in a glare and she giggled as she went back to the call. "DD! How are you?" CC watched Niles mindlessly straighten the organized papers on the desk while she talked. "Yes…I can clear a few things to have lunch with you…ok, see you then."

She hung up the phone and crossed her arms. "Well, that was odd. My sister is in town and she wants to have lunch even though it's not a holiday."

Niles nodded. "I think it's give an alcoholic a hug week."

"Oh, that makes sense." She put her arms out. "Come here."

"Oh no, Babcock. You know you have to pay me first." Niles winked at her and swiftly left the room.

CC's eyes swept over him as he left and she cocked her head to the side. She did like the sight of him disappearing. She shook her head and then moved to sit down and do a little work before he came back.
