Another Fire Boy

"It not burny" Draco said as he patted the top of Ron's head. "Mummy said fire burny."

Hermione shook her head with a smile, she was trying desperately not to laugh after all it wasn't every day Ron Weasley had Draco Malfoy pat his head to see if it was hot.

"That's because it's not real fire Draco," Hermione told him as she slowly lowered him off the back of the chair.

Ron had turned up in the middle of the afternoon declaring he wanted to spend time with the friends he hadn't seen in what felt like forever. Happy to see him Hermione and Harry had welcomed him into the common room and from that moment his every step had been watched by Draco. The blonde had continued to stare at the other fire boy. He was the first fire boy he had seen and he fascinated him.

"But he a fire boy" Draco wined as he stared up at Hermione. "It should be burny!"

"A fire boy?" Ron asked as he looked down at Draco.

Draco nodded and proceeded to inform Ron all about the fire twins and the fire twin's mummy and big brother. By the end of the story Ron was laughing at the tale.

"The fire twins said you were their little brother, you a fire boy too." Ron smiled and rubbed the top of Draco's hair.

"I guess I am, did you know I have a little sister too." Draco stared wide eyed at Ron.

"Charlie said he had a little sister, so she's a fire girl!"

"She's a fire girl," Ron said and Hermione smiled as she watched the two interact. Draco just seemed to adore the Weasley's it was so strange for her to see as they were enemies in real life. It was nice that Ron was able to put aside his dislike for the adult Draco and see him as the young and innocent child he was.

"Mione, Draco meet the fire girl!" He asked, raising his hands indicating to be lifted. Hermione rolled her eyes but raised Draco into her arms. Instantly Draco snuggled into her embrace.

"So when do they turn back?" Ron asked as Harry walked into the room with Blaise and Pansy on either side.

"Two days, we have tomorrow with them and then Monday they are changed. It's going to be really weird when they go back to normal." Harry said.

"You should take them to the Hufflepuff verses Ravenclaw Quidditch game tomorrow, both lads are in the Slytherin team so I'm sure they'd enjoy it." Ron said as Blaise walked up to him.

"I want fire hair," Blaise said reaching out to touch Ron's, rolling his eyes Ron picked up Blaise who balanced himself on Ron's legs. His hand reached out and patted Ron's head similarly to Draco.

"It not burny Blaise," Draco called out.

"No it as orange as a carrot." Blaise cried clapping his hands excitedly. Blaise patted Ron's head one more time before he slumped on to his bum to wave at Hermione.

"We could do, I'm sure they'd like it." Hermione said waving back at the little Italian who giggled loudly.

"You don't think they're too young?" Harry asked bouncing Pansy on his knee.

"No, I think once the action starts they'll be hooked and they'll just sit and watch. If it becomes a problem you just bring them back here." Said Ron who looked between Hermione and Harry. "Obviously it's up to you but you've only one day left before it's all over."

Hermione and Harry glanced at each other, silently asking what they wanted to do.

"Pansy, do you fancy going to see a Quidditch match tomorrow?" Harry asked Pansy.

Pansy looked up at Harry in confusion before turning to look at Blaise and Draco who were both nodding in excitement.

"What Quidditch?"

"You fly on broom Pansy and shoot balls and win the game." Cried Draco bouncing in Hermione's arms. "I go see Quidditch, let Draco go!"

"Me go too!" Shouted Blaise. "I see Quidditch and catch balls and fly on the broom!"

"You're not going on a broomstick young man. You'll have to wait until you're older." Said Hermione. "But we can go to the Quidditch match as long as you're all very good."

"Hermione I be the bestest ever," said Blaise nodding his head.

Blaise jumped off of Ron's knee and ran to Hermione silently asking to be picked up with his arms in the air. Hermione sighed but lowered Draco to the floor who moaned at being lowered, he made his displeasure even more known when she picked up Blaise for a cuddle.

"Draco come here," Harry called and the blonde ran towards him happy for the attention to be on him.

Still confused Pansy tugged Harry's sleeve "we no go on broom?" she asked and Harry shook his head.

"You won't be going on a broom no." Draco groaned unhappily but Pansy grinned.

"I go but not go on broom."

"Is fireboy going to be at Quidditch?" Draco whispered while pointing at Ron.

"Why don't you go and ask him." replied Harry.

Puffing out his little chest, Draco hopped off the sofa and over to Ron, he patted Ron on the knee and cleared his throat. "You going to Quidditch?"

"Yup," Ron replied.

Happy with Ron's answer Draco nodded his head and climbed on to the chair beside him. "Mummy and Daddy coming tonight," he said happily.

Surprised Ron looked over to Harry and Hermione, the two nodded both looking unhappily at the news.

"We got a letter today, the parents will be coming tonight." Ron winced and looked up at the clock, he'd been here a few hours and he really didn't want to be here when the seniors arrived.

"Think I'm going to get off now, I've Snape's homework assignment to do and I don't want to be here for the seniors." Ron chuckled and they all grinned.

"Kids say goodbye Ron's going now,"

"Bye Mr fireboy!" Pansy cried waving.

"Bye bye," Blaise said with a smile and a wave.

Draco stared up at Ron with a frown, he didn't want his new friend to go, he was supposed to stay and play with him. "You stay," he said looking up at Ron.

"I can't I've got lots of big boy things to do and your Mummy and Daddy will be here soon so they can play with you." Draco nodded sadly and waved.

"Bye," he said sadly.

"Cheer up kiddo, I'll probably see you tomorrow at Quidditch."

"Yeah Quidditch!" said Draco instantly cheering him up.

Ron left the common room and the children were left to play. Their parent's would be arriving in the next hour and they were uncertain when they would be leaving. Hermione and Harry stood quietly in the corner watching the trio play happily completely unaware of the plan they were forming. They would give them one final bath, the plan obviously being to give each child a bath before their parents arrived. While this was happening the other would be giving the other two children their food.

"What do you want, food or bath?" Hermione whispered watching the children.

"Food, you can do the bath," Harry said grinning, "who we putting in first?"

"Draco. There is no chance of getting him in the bath if he knows about it. I'll go and fill the bath and then come down for Draco, then we'll take Blaise and finally Pansy. While I'm doing this you can be giving Blaise and Pansy their dinner."

Harry nodded and Hermione headed upstairs, she flicked the taps on and watched as the bath slowly started to fill, she wasn't sure how she'd get Draco upstairs without a scene. While thinking this all over Harry began to prepare dinner, it was going to be a simple spaghetti dish made with tomato sauce and a few slices of garlic bread. He placed the pasta into the pan and watched it boil as he heard Hermione down the stairs.

"Draco sweetie, do you need a wee?" Draco paused from his playing and seemed to think about it before nodding his head. "Come on then let's go have a wee." Draco dropped his toys and ran to Hermione, Hermione turned to Harry with a wink and lead Draco upstairs. Once inside the bathroom Hermione quickly made work of Draco's trousers and placed him on the toilet. She turned to the door locking it and waited patiently for him to finish.

It was almost as though Draco knew something was up, he continued to stare at her, his head tilted to one side.

"Finished," Draco declared and he hopped down off the toilet and reached for his trousers. Hermione sighed and shook her head. She slowly walked over to him and reached for his t-shirt. On instinct Draco raised his arms in the air and Hermione pulled it over his head. It was only when his t-shirt was removed did Draco realise what was going to happen.

"No!" he cried but he was too late, Hermione sung her arms under Draco's and lifted him in to the air, holding him out at arm's length so his swinging feet didn't kick her in the stomach. She lowered him into the bath and he looked up at her, his lip was wobbling and his eyes were filling with tears.

"I'm sorry baby but you need a bath."

"Tricked," he sniffed folding his arms across his chest.

"Don't you think it's better having a bath first before Blaise and Pansy?" Draco shook his head wiping at his eyes.

Closing her eyes Hermione leaned over and kissed the blondes nose before rubbing her own nose against Draco's who giggled. Draco reached forward, his hands clutching Hermione's hair as he kissed her nose.

"Kisses" Draco said before kissing her lightly on the lips.

"Kisses indeed monkey. Let's get you washed so you can get out and have your dinner." He was still unhappy about being in the bath but Draco willingly allowed Hermione to wash his hair and body. It took less than 10 minutes before Hermione was lifting him out of the bath and wrapping a towel around his body.

"All done," she said squeezing him tightly in a hug. Draco giggled and dropped the towel.

"You ruddy!" Hermione laughed as she chased him around the bathroom before grabbing hold of him. Tapping his bare bum she quickly redressed him and allowed him to escape the bathroom.

Hermione followed behind Draco, they entered the common room and Hermione called over Blaise. "We're going to have a bath now,"

"But I want dinner." Blaise said patting his stomach to prove this.

"Well the quicker you can get in the bath the quicker you can have your dinner," Blaise looked up at Hermione before sniffing his nose, he could smell his dinner cooking.

"Be quick?" Blaise asked and Hermione nodded. She scooped Blaise into her arms and jogged towards the bathroom. Blaise squealed in laughter from his position in her arms, he continued to laugh uncontrollably once he was placed on to the floor.

Finding his laugh unbelievably cute Hermione started to laugh alongside him, suddenly the two of them were just laughing and neither could remember what it was they were laughing about. After taking a few deep breaths Hermione slowly started to calm down. She slowly began to undress the little Italian and placed him in to the bath.

"That funny," he giggled as Hermione started to sponge down his body.

"What was funny," she asked.

"Running," Hermione smiled at him as she picked up his right foot and scrubbed it with the sponge. Blaise split into more giggles and Hermione had to stop him from throwing himself backwards in to the bath.

Once he was settled she reached for the cup and started to pour it over his curly hair, dampening it so she could lather it with shampoo. Blaise's entire body stiffened as she quickly washed his hair and she was relieved when she could finally remove him from the bath. She wrapped him securely in a towel and pulled him down on to her lap.

"You're a good boy you know that." She said as she ran her fingers through his damp hair.

"Bestest boy ever?" Blaise asked and Hermione nodded.

"I'm really going to miss you when you have to go home," she said burying her hair into his head. Out of all three toddlers she had bonded with Blaise, his sweet yet shy personality was adorable and she'd become very over protective of him. It was slowly breaking her heart that he would eventually be a teenager in less than 48 hours.

"I not go home now?" he asked fear lacing his voice.

"No sweetie not today but you will be soon." Blaise shook his head and gripped tightly on to Hermione's arm.

"Me stay with you," he said and Hermione could feel a stab in her heart. She said nothing but held him tighter hugging him with everything she had, desperate to show him how much she cared.

Eventually she pulled away and she slowly dressed him back in his clothes, Blaise remained quiet until he re-joined Draco and Pansy in the kitchen.

"I think we should have done the baths after dinner," Harry said as he stared at Draco and Pansy who were covered in tomato sauce.

Draco wiggled his sticky fingers at Hermione before spooning another forkful of spaghetti in to his mouth.

"Pansy once you've finished your dinner you're going to go in the bath. Draco you'll be subjected to the flannel. I'm not bathing you again."

It didn't take Pansy long to declare herself full, it also didn't take Blaise long until he was also covered in tomato sauce. Hermione wiped Pansy's hands and face before she escorted the only girl into the bathroom.

She was glad to have left Pansy to last as she cooperated immediately and was happy to get into the bath.

"When Mummy and Daddy come, we watch film?" she asked as she covered her face in bubbles.

"You want to watch a Disney film with your parents?" Pansy nodded and started to apply bubbles to Hermione's face.

"You got a beard," she squealed once she had finished. Hermione laughed and tapped Pansy on the nose.

"If you, Blaise and Draco can decide on a film then you can watch a film with your Mummy and Daddy's." really Hermione wanted to be a witness to the Malfoys, Zabini's and the Parkinson's watching their first ever muggle cartoon movie. It was an experience not to be missed.

"Yay! Can we have ice cream?" Pansy asked excitedly as Hermione wrapped a pink towel around her body.

"I don't see why not, you did eat all of your dinner." Pansy cheered and ran from the bathroom to tell Draco and Blaise the news.

"Mummy and Daddy gonna watch film!" she chanted over and over until Hermione placed her hand over her mouth.

"Shush Little Miss Gobby." Pansy tilted her head up to her grinning wildly.

"I take it we'll be watching another Disney film tonight?" Harry asked as he walked out of the kitchen wiping his hands. Draco and Blaise stood beside him both freshly clean with no tomato sauce in sight.

"Yup, Pansy fancy's watching a film with her parents and eating some ice cream." Hermione explained with a smirk. Both of them were thinking the same thing, a Muggle Disney film and some very proud purebloods.

At precisely 6pm the fireplace lit into flames and outstepped Madam and Mister Zabini, upon seeing his parents Blaise squeaked and ran to his mum. Maria Zabini scooped up Blaise and cradled him against her chest, she soothed down his hair pressing kisses on to his forehead.

"I missed you mummy!" Blaise said reaching up and kissing her face. "I been good mummy," he told her.

Maria Zabini looked over her young sons head to Hermione and Harry, she nodded to them before looking back down at Blaise.

"That's good to hear,"

The fireplace roared once again and out stepped Mr and Misses Parkinson, Pansy cried out "Mummy, Daddy!" before jumping straight into her father's outstretched arms. He threw her high into the air erupting a giggle from Pansy.

"Aww Daddy, I miss you!" she said with her arms wrapped tightly around her father's neck, almost to the point of strangling him.

She pulled back and waved to her mother who smiled and reached for Pansy's tiny hand. Ivy Parkinson rubbed the back of her daughter's hand with affection, she slowly brought Pansy's hand to her lips pressing tiny kisses on each finger.

"Hermione where Mummy and Daddy," Draco asked as the fireplace stayed silent for several more minutes.

"They'll be here soon sweetie. Mummy and Daddy are probably a little busy and are running late." Draco nodded his head, he watched closely as Blaise and Pansy received affection from their parents and he reached his arms up to Hermione.

On instinct Hermione bent down and picked him up, cradling him to her chest while they waited. It was another few minutes before the fireplace lit for the final time, Lucius and Narcissa Malfoy stepped casually out of the fireplace and Draco shimmied down from Hermione's hold upon seeing them. He ran straight to his father who caught him in the nick of time.

Hermione and Harry stood back silently watching the way the six adults acted. Even though they knew it was only a spell and these children would be an adult very soon they instantly moulded back into parents of toddlers. It was weird for Hermione and Harry to see the six in front of them smile, it was bizarre for them to even act human. The Malfoys, Zabinis and Parkinson showed no emotion to the outside world and yet here they were smiling, laughing and proving they truly loved their only child.

"Daddy, we gonna watch film," Pansy said as she looked into the identical set of eyes staring back at her. "I pick."

"No I pick!" Blaise cried from his mother's eyes.

"You picked last!" argued Draco putting his hands on his hips.

"Why don't all three of you decide together," Harry suggested as the three toddlers glared at one another, instantly three pairs of eyes widened and they each slipped from their parents arms and ran to the corner where the films were located.

Meanwhile, the parents stared at Harry and Hermione in confusion. Each was thinking the same, what was a film?

"They've gotten quite into Muggle television and films. They want you to watch a Disney film." Hermione explained with a shrug. "Would any one like a drink? Hermione took the drink orders as Harry quickly set up the DVD player, ready for the film the trio chose.

He was shocked to see them return with a single film in Pansy's hand. In her excitement she handed Harry Alice in Wonderland. He shrugged and slipped the disk into the DVD player. Each of the children ran to their parents and snuggled into their warm embraces.

As soon as Hermione brought out everyone's drink the film started. Hermione couldn't help but find it ironic that the chosen film was so perfect, Wonderland reminded her of the Wizarding World, a weird yet wonderful world where everything you thought you knew was different.

As the film progressed Harry spent more time watching the parents than actually watching the film. He personally loved the look on their faces when the white rabbit appeared and started to sing "I'm late I'm late I'm late," over and over before running off. It was priceless when they were first introduced to the Mad Hatter and the March Hare.

Blaise giggled the entire way through singing along with the Mad Hatter. He even shimmied off his mother's lap and danced around the room amusing everyone.

"It's my unbirthday today too!" Blaise suddenly said as he froze on the spot. His face erupted into a huge grin and he danced excitedly at the thought.

"Blaise keep watching or you'll miss the rabbit again." said Hermione and the Italian instantly jumped on to the sofa where Harry and Hermione were sat to watch in anticipation for the rabbit.

"Mione, what the rabbit late for?" Pansy asked as she twirled her hair around her finger.

"Keep watching and you'll see." Hermione winked and poked Blaise in the cheek. Blaise turned to scowl at her but Hermione just poked out her tongue. Laughing Blaise reached up and poked Hermione in the cheek.

"A Cat!" Draco shouted pointing to the screen. The Cheshire cat curled around the tree mocking Alice who was afraid and lost deep in the forest of Wonderland. The toddlers stared transfixed as a door appeared once hidden in the maze walls of the forest.

Harry noticed that even Narcissa Malfoy watched the film with childlike amazement. She cradled Draco to her chest as the playing cards started to sing, "We're painting the roses red,"

"Why red, why not blue?" Draco asked.

"You'll see," said Hermione smirking.

And he did, Draco watched the red queen in fascination but he cowered into his mother's chest when she screamed "Off with their heads!"

"He was only painting roses red!" Draco argued to the telly but the Red Queen didn't listen. Instead she challenged Alice to a game of croquet using flamingos and hedgehogs. Alice won and she raced through wonderland with the Red Queen, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, the Walrus and the Cheshire cat plus all the others chasing after her.

"Alice, Alice, wake up Alice!"

"It's a dream," said Maria Zabini, "it was just a dream... How bizarre." Giovanni Zabini stared at his wife and shook his head.

"It was quite a fascinating story," Lucius admitted as he patted Draco on the knee. "Have they been watching these since being in your care? Hermione and Draco nodded.

"You've enjoyed them though haven't you kiddo." Draco nodded once again and begun to tell his father all about Peter Pan.

The parents stayed for another hour, the children were slowly starting show signs of being tired and it was decided that the toddlers would be put to bed. As Harry took the toddlers upstairs Hermione informed their parents about the progress of them being reunited with their teenage children.

"Professor Snape will be administrating the potion the day after tomorrow. So fingers crossed they'll be back to normal Monday afternoon, Monday evening the latest."

"That's reassuring, I thought I'd have to start again and raise my son from a baby once more," said Narcissa. "We will return on Monday evening. Until then Miss Granger I wish you the very best of luck." Hermione smiled at Narcissa and watched as each adult disappeared through the fireplace.

There was only one day left of them being like this, just one more day as sweet innocent children and Hermione was dreading Monday more than ever before.

I'm really sorry, I sort of promised loads of you that this chapter would be up by October and well it wasn't, I am only three days out but I am still really sorry!

Just one thing I want to mention, I had already started writing the story when I discovered Blaise Zabini's father had died and he just had several step fathers. Obviously Giovanni Zabini is his father in this otherwise the toddler Blaise wouldn't recognise the man, so that is a slight error on my behalf.

Writing this was interesting, I was a little uncertain at the beginning (Ron's part) but I slowly got into it and flew through the second part (Bath time) but the ending was so tricky and I really struggled with it and it's not my best work (parents). There's a lot I'd change but I've no idea what I'd change it too.

On a positive note this is the longest chapter so far, so I hope that makes up for the delay. Thanks to all that reviewed it really means a lot :)
