Bash at the Beach (Day 1 Part 2)
MJF's theme song played from the speakers, much to the chagrin of the crowd. Patty and Liz Thompson and Tohru came out to the ring with BTWF Women's Champion Lucy Heartfilia from behind them. Patty and Liz Thompson performed the Impact Players' pose, and Tohru raised one arm with her hand in the shape of a claw while Lucy was clapping for them.
"The following contest is a 6 woman tag team match scheduled for one fall. Making their way to the ring accompanied by the BTWF Women's Champion Lucy Heartfilia, the team of Patty Thompson, Liz Thompson, and Tohru; the Conglomerate!" Tim Barr announced as the Conglomerate made their way inside the ring, while Lucy made her way to the commentary table.
"I guess I can never get a break from Lucy, even here at the commentary table," Andy mumbled as Lucy put the headset on.
"This is Luna Collins' last match she needs to win to get a BTWF Women's title match against Lucy Heartfilia," Scott explained as Lucy chuckled.
"Yes it is, but unfortunately she won't be able to win this match. The Conglomerate is a legitimate team that has been training to work together and gel perfectly. There is no way that this peasant is going to win!" Lucy exclaimed, before 'Memory' by Rev Theory plays. The crowd cheered as Luna came out, and hi-fived fans along the way.
"And their opponents first, from New York City, 'Amazing' Luna Collins!" Tom Barr announced as the crowd cheered even louder as Luna stopped at the ringside area, and pointed at Lucy before pointing at the entranceway while her music was continuing to play. The crowd cheered when they saw Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long run out of the ring and hi-five fans.
"And her partners, from Remnant, the team of Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long!" Tim Barr announced as Yang and Ruby shook hands with Luna before the three of them ran into the ring, confronting the Conglomerate.
"WHAT A GET BY LUNA!" Scott exclaimed as Andy and Bob nodded.
"I knew my daughter would get some good talent, but I didn't know she would get two members of Team RWBY!" Andy exclaimed.
"I've heard the BTWF is working on contracts for these two athletes!" Bob exclaimed before Lucy decided to interject, while Luna, Ruby, and Yang were arguing with the Conglomerate in the ring.
"Oh please! Those two may be good, but they're not good enough to beat the Conglomerate!" Lucy yelled at the announcers before the bell rang. When the bell rang, Luna and Liz got into the ring and started punching each other, before Luna started kicking Liz in the sides before hitting her with a vertical suplex. Luna picked Liz up and hit her with multiple chops to the chest before tagging Ruby into the match. The two Irish whipped Liz in the ring, hitting her with a double dropkick to the head, before Luna scoop slammed Ruby onto Liz, sending Liz in a sitting position. Ruby ran the ropes and hit a running seated clothesline onto Liz before going for a pin.

Liz kicked out and Ruby picked Liz up, hitting her with multiple jabs to the face before hitting her with a Hurricanrana, and a dropkick to the back of Liz's head. Ruby tagged Yang into the match while wringing Liz's arm. Ruby hit Liz with an arm drag and Yang ran the ropes to hit a jumping elbow drop onto Liz's gut, much to the crowd's delight.
"Yang and Ruby are showing the BTWF fans what they're made of!" Scott exclaimed, before Yang picked up Liz, and hit her with a back elbow before running the ropes, allowing Liz to counter with a Kitchen Sink knee strike before tagging patty into the match. Patty attempted to kick a downed Yang in the face, and Yang was able to duck, put her legs up, and push Patty away from her. When Patty tried to run after her, Yang hit a hip toss onto Patty and picked her up to hit a Falcon Arrow.
"These two are just lucky! Once their luck runs out, the Conglomerate will take the momentum back to their side," Lucy explained before Yang threw Patty into the corner and hit multiple punches and elbows to the face. Yang smiled at Lucy, before running into another corner and hit a clothesline into the corner onto Patty. However, when Yang was about to run the ropes, Tohru ran at Yang, and hit a Bicycle Kick to the side of Yang's head, sending her down face-first onto the ring canvas. That caused the crowd to boo while Tohru taunted the crowd, and Lucy stood up from her seat and applauded Tohru's attack.
"See!? That's an example of good teamwork right there!" Lucy cheered, as Patty got back up and started punching Yang in the face, before tagging Tohru into the match. Tohru hit a scoop slam onto Yang, and Patty hit a double foot stomp onto Yang's gut before leaving the ring. Tohru ran the ropes and hit Yang with a boot to the head before going for the pin.

Yang kicked out, and Tohru responded by throwing Yang into the corner and hitting a twisting body splash onto Yang before hitting her with a Uranage before tagging Liz back into the match. Liz ran the ropes and hit a running dropkick to the side of the head before Liz used the ropes to choke Yang.
"The Conglomerate getting back into the groove of this match, looking to win so that Luna won't go anywhere near the Women's Championship as long as Lucy is the champion!" Bob explained, as Liz let go of Yang and hit her with a swinging neckbreaker before tagging Patty into the match.
"Exactly! A team with a common goal will always overtake a team that is formed randomly just to help a peasant like Luna!" Lucy exclaimed as Liz and Patty hit a kick to both of Yang's legs, before hitting two Eat Defeats onto both sides of Yang's face before Patty rolled Yang up with a small package.

Patty put Yang in a headlock, occasionally using the ropes to add extra leverage to the hold. Patty looks over at Luna and starts yelling at her, arguing with Luna before Yang lifted herself off of the ground, and started punching Patty in the face, but Patty pulled Yang back into the corner before tagging Tohru back into the match. Patty hit a single knee Facebuster and Tohru immediately hit a German suplex onto Yang before going to the pin.

Tohru grabbed Yang by the hair and put her in a Torture Rack. Tohru was facing Luna and Ruby, who were trying to reach for a tag. Tohru yelled at Luna while continuing to stretch Yang.
"Yang is not having the best night here with this Torture Rack," Bob stated, as Yang tried to punch Tohru in the face, but Tohru hit Yang with an Argentine Backbreaker but still hanging on to her in the Torture Rack. Yang started punching her in the face again, and this time, she was able to slip out of the hold, and hit her with a backstabber, sending them both down to the ground. The fans started chanting for Luna and tried to give Yang the energy to tag out of the match.
"Luna needs to tag in here if she wants her title dreams to stay alive!" Andy exclaimed as Tohru and Yang both started crawling towards their respective corners.
"Well Andy, her dreams are going to die tonight!" Lucy exclaimed as both women were able to tag Luna and Liz into the match respectively. Luna hit multiple Japanese arm drags onto Liz, a Michinoku Driver, and multiple leg drops across her throat. Luna then turned to Tohru and hit her with a running dropkick to the face sending her falling to the padded concrete below.
"Typical peasant attacking someone when they aren't expecting it!" Lucy spat in disgust, causing Andy to roll his eyes.
"Yeah, because you and the Conglomerate NEVER do anything like that to anyone," Andy countered, causing Lucy to turn and glare at him.
"You shut the hell up, you peasant!" Lucy yelled as Liz attempted to hit s suplex onto Luna, but Luna countered into a Parallel Snapmare complete with a running kick to the body before transitioning into a Trouble in Paradise kick to Patty, making her groggy. Yang got back into the ring and ran through the ropes and hit a suicide dive onto Tohru, grabbing Tohru by the hair and slamming her multiple times onto the announce table, showing off Tohru's unconscious face to Lucy.
"You better get out of my face you peasant before I ruin you!" Lucy screamed at Yang, who responded to Lucy's explosion by throwing Tohru into the steel ring post. Meanwhile, in the ring, Luna attempted to put Liz in the Octopus Stretch, but Liz was able to escape and hit a Superkick onto Liz. While both were down, Patty went to the top rope and attempted to hit a diving knee drop onto Luna, but Ruby got into the ring and threw her off the top of the rope, sending her down to the ring canvas face first.
"Ruby showing her loyalty to Luna!" Bob exclaimed before Ruby picked Patty up and hit her with the Rose Plant, before rolling her out of the ring. Liz and Luna started getting up and exchanged punches in the center of the ring. Liz poked Luna in the eyes, before attempting a standing enziguri, but Luna dodged the kick and hit a jumping double stomp onto Liz's back, before picking her up, slapping her in the face, and hitting her in the head with a high kick before going for the pin.

*Bell rings*
"Ladies and gentlemen, here are your winners, the team of Yang Xiao Long, Ruby Rose, and 'Amazing' Luna Collins!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd was on their feet cheering the three women, who hugged in the center of the ring. Lucy glared at the ring and took the headset off of her head, holding up her championship.
"Luna has done it! Luna has earned herself a championship match against Lucy Heartfilia!" Andy exclaimed as he stood up, applauding his daughter who was yelling at Lucy.
"I can't wait to see that match again, because you know Luna is going to be even more aggressive after going through all these obstacles to get that title shot!" Bob exclaimed, as Lucy walked away from the commentary table and to ringside, still glaring at Luna. While Luna was distracted by Lucy, Tohru, Patty got back up and started attacking Yang and Ruby from behind.
"I guess the Conglomerate isn't done yet!" Scott exclaimed as Luna attempted to go after Tohru and Patty, but Lucy attacked her from behind with a shot to the back of the head using the BTWF Women's title. Lucy then hit Yang in the face with the Women's title, allowing Tohru to get back up on her to attack her with forearms to the face. Patty and Ruby started exchanging punches to the face before Liz got up from the high kick, and hit a running knee to Ruby's back, and started attacking her with stomps and punches.
"I think it's clear to everyone that Lucy and the rest of the Conglomerate had this attack planned!" Andy seethed, as Patty and Liz threw Yang and Ruby out of the ring, and started attacking Luna with Lucy and Tohru. Lucy then stopped Patty and Liz and told them to go outside and get something from under the ring. While Patty and Liz were looking under the ring, Tohru and Lucy continued beating on Luna with stomps and clubs to the back. When Tohru saw Yang and Ruby getting back up, she ran the ropes and hit a baseball slide onto both women, sending them back down to the ground.
"Patty and Liz got out two chairs! What the hell are they going to do with those chairs!?" Scott asked worriedly, as Lucy grabbed Luna by her hair and pulled her head up which allowed Liz to put one chair underneath Luna's head. Patty then handed the chair to Lucy, who looked around at the booing fans, before hitting Luna in the back of the head with the steel chair, hitting Luna with a Con-Chair-To.
"OH MY GOD! A CON-CHAIR-TO TO LUNA'S HEAD!" Scott yelled out, as Lucy continued to hit Luna with Con-Chair-Tos as Tohru, Liz, and Patty went outside of the ring to fight with Ruby and Yang. After the 10th Con-Chair-To, Luna's head was starting to bleed from the back, and the crowd was booing Lucy loudly as she continued to smirk at the crowd.
"Luna may be seriously hurt here—OH CRAP!" Bob exclaimed, as Lucy hit more Con-Chair-Tos onto Luna before multiple referees and security guards tackled Lucy down to the ground, and dragged her out of the ring, with the crowd chanting 'Asshole' at her, while Luna was lying face down in the ring, motionless and her head surrounded by a pool of blood. Andy took off his headset and went into the ring to see what happened to his daughter.
"You know…Andy adopted Luna when she was really young. They may not be bound by blood…but…they love each other as if they were related by blood," Scott exclaimed, with worry lacing his voice, as medical personnel asked Andy to step back, bringing a gurney into the ring and placed her onto it, before putting her on a stretcher. As the medical personnel rolled her out of the ring and away from the makeshift arena, Andy followed her away from the arena with tears in her eyes, as the crowd chanted for Luna.
"This was an absolutely disgusting attack by Lucy! I never thought she would sink as low as she just did!" Scott exclaimed angrily, as Bob nodded his head in agreement.
"I'm just shocked at what we witnessed here. I mean…Luna could be severely hurt here, and for what?" Bob asked, not even able to look into the ring still stained with Luna's blood. The Conglomerate, Ruby, and Yang continued to brawl outside of the makeshift arena, but they went towards the ocean rather than follow the stretcher Luna was on.
"Well…we're going to have some security separate these five women, but…I just hope that Luna isn't too gravely hurt," Scott stated, as he looked down in sadness before the Titantron showed the logo for the 'Happy Place' with the theme song playing through the speakers.
"We're really glad that you're our friend, and this is our friendship that will never, ever end," the song said, as the camera panned to the Happy Place, where Minatsuki Tamaki was painting a chair in multiple different colors. Then, she was tapped on the foot by Donna.
"Minatsuki! I got everyone to the living room like you asked!" Donne exclaimed, with Carrie, Bret, and Henry. Minatsuki turned around and smiled at the four of them before putting them in a giant bearhug.
"Good job, Donna! Thanks for bringing everyone out here, because I have an important announcement for not only all four of you but for all our friends out there!" Minatsuki exclaimed, before bringing out a snare drum with drumsticks, and performed a drum roll for about thirty seconds. Once she finished, Donna, Bret, and Henry applauded.
"Come on now Minatsuki! We only have a set amount of time before the PPV has to come back," Carrie instructed, causing Minatsuki to nod, and take a deep breath before she exclaimed;
"I'M GOING TO BE A WRESTLER AGAIN!" This caused the four furry friends to all gasp in shock.
"Are you sure about this Minatsuki?" Bret asked worriedly. Minatsuki nodded, as she took out a mannequin stand that had her wrestling attire on it, which was a white top and shorts with Minatsuki's name written in purple and green.
"I miss being in the ring, Bret, and I'm too excited not to take this opportunity!" Minatsuki responded before Carrie walked up to her.
"Minatsuki…," Donna mumbled out with tears in her eyes. Minatsuki knelt down to Donna's level and pet her head.
"Don't worry about me Donna, I'll be fine. I've been training for this moment for a long time now," Minatsuki explained before Carrie tapped Minatsuki on the back of the leg.
"Minatsuki, you have to consider what you're doing! What if…she comes out," Carrie said, causing everyone in the Happy Place to pause, and look at Carrie in fear. For the first time today, the smile on Minatsuki's face completely disappeared.
"She's not coming back Carrie, trust me," Minatsuki said almost robotically before going back to her painted chair.
"Minatsuki all I'm saying is-" Carrie started before Minatsuki grabbed the chair she has been painting and slammed it down on the ground as hard as she could, shattering it into a bunch of multicolored splinters.
"I SAID SHE'S NOT COMING BACK!" Minatsuki screamed, before she stomped off to her room, and slammed the door, leaving Carrie and the rest of the inhabitants of the Happy Place in a state of shock, before the camera turned back to the announcers.
"You know Bob, I thought an episode of the Happy Place was going to be the thing that could cheer me up after what happened to Luna Collins. But now I have to wonder, who this mysterious 'she' is," Scott asked, as Bob shrugged his shoulders and sighed.
"I've never seen Minatsuki that upset before. Whoever this 'she' is, she must be someone who really messed Minatsuki up," Bob responded, before 'Duality' by Set It Off started playing from the speakers. The crowd cheered as Shoto Todoroki made his way to the ring, with a focused glare on his face, looking up at the BTWF Championship match contract hanging from a pole.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a ladder match for the #1 contendership for the BTWF Championship! Introducing first, from Tokyo Japan, Shoto Todoroki!" Tim Barr announcer, as the crowd cheered loudly for Todoroki flipping into the ring, and on his feet before sitting in a criss-cross position right in the center of the ring, which was surrounded by multiple ladders.
"In a rare moment of an Octane match being displayed on the day of Intensity matches, we have a #1 contender's match for the BTWF championship between Shoto Todoroki and Soul Eater Evans!" Scott exclaimed as Johnny Gargano's 'Rebel Heart' theme song played, as the crowd continued to cheer Soul running out on the stage and pounding on a couple of ladders on the entranceway.
"And his opponent, from Death City, Nevada, Soul Eater Evans!" Tim Barr announced as Soul rolled underneath the ring and walked face to face with Todoroki, who stood up and glared at him right back.
"You can feel the tension in this match right now, and cut through it with a knife," Bob stated, as the bell rang. Once it did, Todoroki extended his hand out for a handshake, which Soul accepted. Right after the handshake, the two came to blows, trading punches, elbows, and chops with each other. Todoroki managed to gain the advantage with a spin kick to the gut and attempted to hit a running move, but Soul countered that into a Japanese arm drag and hit a kneeling Todoroki with a dropkick. Todoroki used the ropes to get back up, but Soul hit a Cactus Clothesline onto Todoroki, sending them both crashing to the outside of the ring.
However, Todoroki was able to get back up first and kick Soul in the chest multiple times before Irish whipping him into the fan barricade. Todoroki started stomping on Soul's gut before he went to a ladder leaning up against the steel ring post and threw it into the ring before he threw Soul into the steel ring post. Todoroki then went inside the ring and set up the ladder to make sure that it was right below the contract.
"Todoroki is trying to end this match early!" Scott exclaimed, before Soul got back up on his feet and rolled inside the ring, and hit Todoroki with a clothesline before he could climb the ladder. Soul hit multiple punches to Todoroki's face before Irish whipping him into the ladder, sending him down on all fours. Soul left the ring and took another ladder to put it between the ring apron and the fan barricade, creating a bridge. Soul made sure it stuck before getting back into the ring, kicking Todoroki in the gut, and climbing up the ladder.
"Now Soul is trying to end this match early!" Bob exclaimed, as Todoroki got back up, and kicked Soul in the back a couple of times before attempting a powerbomb, but Soul was able to counter with a Hurricanrana, but Todoroki got back up and attempted to hit a clothesline onto Soul, but Soul was able to counter with a Spinebuster.
"That was a nice spinebuster by Soul there. Arn Anderson would be proud of that one," Scott stated, as Soul took Todoroki into the corner and hit multiple European Uppercuts onto Todoroki, sending him down to the bottom turnbuckle. Soul ran the ropes and attempted to hit a running dropkick to Todoroki's face, but Todoroki was able to dodge. Soul was able to get back up, but when Soul ran after Todoroki, Todoroki feigned a kick to Soul's gut but instead hit an elbow to the side of Soul's head, sending him down to the ground.
"These two men are going to war with each other!" Bob exclaimed as Todoroki started climbing the ladder. When he made it to the 3rd to last rung, Soul was able to get back up and clubbed Todoroki in the back. Todoroki started kicking Soul in the arms and chest, but Soul rammed Todoroki's leg a couple of times into the ladder, causing Todoroki to fall to the ground. Todoroki's legs were fine enough for him to kick Soul in the arm, before throwing Soul into the steel ring post arm first. Todoroki then got onto the ring apron, and while Soul was still hanging from the ring post, Todoroki ran at him with a knee to the side of Soul's head, sending him falling down to the outside, with the crowd cheering and chanting both men's name.
"Todoroki may have brought control of this match permanently!" Scott exclaimed, as Todoroki got a third ladder that was standing next to the announcer's table, and dropped it down onto Soul. Todoroki hit a double foot stomp onto the ladder while it was still on Soul. Todoroki then rolled the ladder off of Soul, and picked him up with a Falcon Arrow, and hit him with the Falcon Arrow onto the announcer's table. Todoroki then picked Soul back up and threw him into the steel steps before going back into the ring. However, when Todoroki went back into the ring, he noticed that Soul was starting to get back up on his feet.
"How is Soul still able to stand after all this punishment!?" Scott asked as Todoroki started rolling back into the ring.
"Soul is a man with a lot of resilience as he has shown in this best of 5 series with Todoroki," Bob responded, as Todoroki picked Soul back up. However, Soul grabbed Todoroki by the hair and threw him into the steel ring steps head first. Soul, noticing that the crowd was cheering and chanting his name, grabbed Todoroki's head again, and repeatedly banged his head onto the steel ring steps.
"Soul getting back into this match, but you can tell he's not 100% at the moment," Scott stated, as Soul started to go back into the ring while holding his head in pain. He went up to the ladder and started climbing back up. He made it to the 4th rung before Todoroki started to get up, grabbing the ring apron, and rolling back into the ring. Todoroki, still groggy, was walking up to the ladder as Soul continued to climb. Todoroki started climbing up to the other side of the ladder, which caused Soul to speed up his pursuit to the top.
"Now both men are racing towards the contract!" Bob exclaimed as Todoroki was able to get to the top rung with Soul. Soul and Todoroki smirked at each other before the two started trading punches with each other.
"That race has turned into an all-out fistfight!" Bob exclaimed, as Soul grabbed Todoroki by the hair again, and started bashing his head into the top of the ladder a few times. Soul then put Todoroki up in a suplex position.
"Wait…what the hell is Soul planning on doing now!?" Scott exclaimed as Soul winked at the fans, before hitting Todoroki with a Curtain Call, sending them both crashing to the ground with the crowd cheering loudly, and chanting 'HOLY SHIT!'
"OH MY GOD!" Bob exclaimed as both men began convulsing and writhing in pain on the ground.
"Goddamn! I know how dangerous and unpredictable ladder matches can be, but I did not expect Soul to do something like this in this match!" Scott exclaimed as Soul rolled out of the ring, while Todoroki continued to lay down in the middle of the ring.
"Despite these two wrestlers laying down trying to heal, the fans are still cheering on both men!" Bob exclaimed as the crowd continued to chant both men's names. Finally, Todoroki used the ladder still standing in the middle of the ring to stagger back to his feet. When he saw that Soul was still on all fours, he focused on Soul, waiting for him to get back up. When Soul finally started to get back up, Todoroki ran the ropes and went through the ropes to hit a suicide dive. However, Soul had gotten a chair from underneath the bottom of the ring, and while Todoroki was diving through the ropes, Soul hit Todoroki right in the face with the steel chair. Todoroki then immediately fell to the outside, all his momentum from the dive completely gone.
"Todoroki's brains may have been scrambled right there!" Scott exclaimed, as Soul, still holding onto the chair, started hitting Todoroki in the back repeatedly with the chair until it started to get bent. Soul threw the chair back into the ring and leaned on the apron to catch his breath. After a few seconds of getting his breath back, Soul rolled into the ring and was still staggering in the ring, heading for the ladder.
"Soul is desperately trying to reach the ladder with all the remaining amount of strength that he has!" Bob exclaimed, as Soul grabbed the rungs and tried to lift himself onto the ladder.
"This might take a while for Soul. For his sake, Todoroki better stay down for a long while to guarantee a victory for Soul," Scott explained, as Soul continued to hold onto the rung and try to carry himself up the ladder. Todoroki started staggering back up, holding his back in pain, noticing that Soul was started to climb up the ladder. Todoroki rolled out of the ring and ran at Soul with a knee to the back. Todoroki dragged Soul off of the ladder and started hitting him with multiple kicks to the leg and the chest. Todoroki attempted to hit a jumping spin kick onto Soul, but Soul ducked and hit a headbutt onto Todoroki.
"How these two are still showing so much strength in their strikes is completely beyond me," Bob stated, as Todoroki staggered into the corner, allowing Soul to run to the corner to hit a jumping clothesline into the corner and a Tornado DDT onto Todoroki. Soul then got onto the middle rope and attempted a splash, but Todoroki lifted his foot up, causing Soul to get hit in the jaw.
"The resiliency of these two men is completely amazing!" Scott complimented, as Todoroki threw Soul out of the ring and ran the ropes to hit a Tope Con Hilo onto Soul. Todoroki then picked Soul up and threw him into the barricade. However, Soul was able to jump on top of the barricade.
"WOW! I never thought I would see something like this from Soul!" Bob exclaimed as Soul hit a moonsault onto Todoroki who was running at him. Soul ran back into the ring and attempted to get onto the ladder. Soul then fell down onto his knees after the pain of the events of this match started flaring up.
"Oh, this is not good for Soul!" Scott exclaimed as Soul kept trying to get up, but his back and head pain kept flaring up. By this time, Todoroki was able to roll back into the ring, and mount Soul's back and hit him with multiple elbows to the head, before putting him in the Dragon Slayer.
"What is Todoroki doing? A submission won't win him this match," Scott asked, as Soul kept trying to squirm out of the hold.
"Well, the Dragon Slayer could choke Soul out, which would give Todoroki a better chance of climbing up the ladder without resistance from Soul," Bob explained, as Soul reached his hand back and dug his fingers into Todoroki's eyes.
"A rare dirty tactic from Soul to get out of the Dragon Slayer!" Scott exclaimed as Todoroki let go of the Dragon Slayer before he got up and hit a clothesline to the back of Todoroki's head, sending him out of the ring. Todoroki was staggering on his feet, but Soul took advantage of the fact that Todoroki out of the ring and started climbing up the ladder.
"Soul trying his hardest to get back to climbing the ladder again!" Bob exclaimed as Todoroki got onto the ring apron, and springboarded back into the ring with a dropkick to Soul's back, sending Soul falling forward onto the falling ladder. When Todoroki turned Soul around, Soul's nose was busted open, and blood was starting to pour out of it.
"We finally have some blood in this ladder match!" Scott exclaimed as Todoroki went to the apron, and attempted to hit another Tope Con Hilo onto Soul, but Soul was able to partially roll off the ladder, causing his right arm to be hit by Todoroki, but Todoroki still was able to hit some of the ladder, causing them both to writhe in pain again. Soul, while grabbing his right arm, got back to his feet and started stomping on Todoroki before picking up the ladder and trying to put it the proper position as fast as he could with only one arm.
One Soul got the ladder set up, he went after Todoroki and threw him in the corner before he started stomping on his gut until Todoroki went down to the bottom turnbuckle. Soul went to the outside and grabbed the chair he used earlier in the match, and set it up in front of Todoroki's face. Todoroki started to stir, causing Soul to stomp on Todoroki more before he went to another corner, and started climbing the ropes.
"Wait…I think we know what he's going for, Scott!" Bob exclaimed as Soul clapped to get the fans to clap along with him.
"Yes we do, Bob," Scott responded as Soul dived off of the top rope and hit Todoroki with a Coast to Coast, sending the chair into Todoroki's face.
"A Coast to Coast by Soul!" Scott exclaimed, as the crowd cheered and chanted for both men, as Soul began to crawl towards the ladder. When Soul got to the bottom of the ladder, Todoroki grabbed the chair that was left in front of him.
"You just have to wonder how after all this, Todoroki and Soul are even able to move, let alone compete in this match," Bob wondered, as Todoroki used his hand that wasn't holding the chair to prop himself out of the corner.
"Both men have made it clear how much winning the BTWF Championship would mean to them. They are willing to sacrifice their bodies to get the opportunity to fight for this prestigious championship," Scott explained, as Todoroki was able to get back onto his feet, and hit Soul in the back multiple times with the steel chair until Soul let go of the ladder. Todoroki picked Soul up and hit a Teardrop Suplex onto Soul, which caused Soul to roll onto the ring apron. When Soul got back up on the ropes, Todoroki ran the ropes and hit a running dropkick onto Soul sending him out of the ring.
"Todoroki has to wonder what he has to do to keep Soul down long enough to grab the contract," Bob brought up once again, as Todoroki got onto the apron and hit a running senton onto Soul's chest before he picked Soul up and attempted to throw him into the fan barricade, but Soul held on to the ring apron, and kicked Todoroki in the leg multiple times before he hit a DDT onto Todoroki.
"I think Soul may have the same thoughts running through his mind," Scott responded, as Soul rolled back into the ring, and before he started climbing the ladder, he went back out of the ring, picked up Todoroki, and threw him back into the ring.
"Wait…what is Soul doing? He had a clear shot at climbing the ladder," Bob asked, as Soul yelled in Todoroki's face before picking him up in a suplex position while the crowd was still cheering and chanting for both men.
"I think he wants to make 100% sure that Todoroki will not stop him from climbing the ladder!" Scott responded as Soul attempted to hit Todoroki with the Soul Eater (Gourdbuster GTS). However, Todoroki was able to counter the Soul Eater into a DDT. Todoroki picked Soul up and hit him with multiple punches, palm strikes, and kicks, which caused Soul to try and escape to the ring apron. However, Todoroki did not stop and hit Soul with a Black Mass kick to the face. This caused Soul to stagger back to the ladder propped up between the fan barricade and the ring apron from early in the match.
"This HAS to be it! Todoroki can easily climb up the ladder and get the contract!" Bob exclaimed as Todoroki attempted to climb up the ladder. When he was halfway up the ladder, he ran his hand through his hair in frustration when he saw that Soul was starting to wake back up. Todoroki then looked over at the fans, who were cheering and chanting his name.
"I think Todoroki has something in mind!" Scott exclaimed, before Todoroki jumped off the ladder, springboarded off the ring ropes, and hit Soul with the Hot and Cold (Mushroom Stomp), sending Soul through the ladder and causing the crowd to get on their feet and chant 'Holy Shit!'
"OH MY GOD! A MUSHROOM STOMP RIGHT THROUGH THE LADDER!" Scott yelled out, as Todoroki ran out back into the ring, and started using whatever remaining energy he had to climb up the ladder.
"AND THIS MAY HAVE FINALLY BEEN ENOUGH FOR SHOTO TODOROKI TO GET THE CONTRACT!" Bob yelled as Todoroki finally made it to the top rung, and before he grabbed the contract, he looked down at Soul who was still unconscious surrounded by pieces of the ladder. Todoroki then grabbed the contract, and pulled it off of the hanger, before he fell off of the ladder while the crowd was still on their feet cheering.
*Bell rings*
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Shoto Todoroki!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd cheered despite Todoroki laying nearly motionless in the ring.
"Todoroki used all of his energy to win this match, and in the end, it was all worth it!" Scott exclaimed as Todoroki finally started to stir, staring in disbelief at the contract that he won.
"He is now the #1 contender for the BTWF Championship and with the quality of this ladder match, he and Soul will most likely be embedded in the minds of fans for a long time to come," Bob explained as Todoroki rolled out of the ring and started walking to the makeshift backstage area. However, he looked over and saw Soul still laying down in the ladder rubble, and went to pick Soul up by the arm.
"And Todoroki showing that he still respects Soul both as a wrestler and as a friend!" Scott exclaimed, as Todoroki assisted Soul to the back by propping Soul up underneath his arm and walked to the makeshift backstage area, while the fans were giving both wrestlers a standing ovation for their performance in the ladder match. The camera then panned to the interview area, where Gaara was standing next to Victor Clavara, who was afraid of even standing next to him.
"So…ladies and gentlemen…we…have Gaara…who requested time to…," Victor nervously attempted to introduce, as Gaara took the microphone from Victor and pushed him out of the interview area.
"Yeah, I did request time to talk. Now everyone wants to know why I attacked Jonah von Bruken on Intensity! Well here's the answer for all the idiots who didn't see how clear I made my intentions; I…WANT…COMPETITION!" Gaara yelled, before grabbing the camera and panning it closer to his face.
"Look into my eyes! I am a predator! I want to feel challenged! And all these losers that I was given was not doing it for me! So if Jonah can come back to Intensity, I want him in a one on one match!" Gaara yelled. He took a deep breath, and before he could rant again, Jonah ran at Gaara and tackled him to the ground, punching him repeatedly in the face. Referees tried to separate the two, but Gaara and Jonah continued to trade punches with each other.
"You want me!? You got me! I'll see you at Intensity! You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into!" Jonah yelled at Gaara as the two of them continued exchanging punches before the referees were finally able to pull the two apart and separate them.
