I just want to say that I do not own any of the characters of Ghost World or Ghost World itself. This is being used for pure enjoyment, for me and all my fans out there!

Enid's Ghost World Continuation! This is what I would like to happen after the end of the film Ghost World.

By El Ireburg

Enid was sitting on the bus, alone, except for the grubby-looking homeless gentleman about six seats away. The Night's sky was dark and dim, only lit by a few fluorescent lights lined along the streets. Very few cars drove around now, and if they did, they were scarce.

Enid had just left Los Angeles and was going God-knows-where. She just wanted to be alone and away. Away from the friend who had made new, away from the people who had bothered her, away from the city which doesn't understand her. This Summer, though she had just graduated from High School and had no plans for College, had been a total wreck.

Yes, it was a total wreck, but after all, Enid had met Seymour, the Forty-something 78rmp record and memorabilia collector with a soft-spot for her. They were too similar to love each other, so they enjoyed lengthy discussions and musings about the world today. They were best friends, and that was part of the reason why she wasn't as much of friends with Rebecca, her former-best friend, anymore.

She had decided to leave the city because it was one of her life-long dreams: just to leave everything behind, not tell anyone and never go back. And that was exactly what she was doing on this dreary night.

The driver called out to the two passengers: "Burbank, California!" It wasn't so clear to Enid what was going on due to lack of sleep and depression, so she just lay down, covering about three seats. After all, it wasn't like anyone was going to occupy those seats at this time of the night.

This gave Enid some time to think about her future, where it was going. She knew she wouldn't go too far, like out of state somewhere, but then again, it would be to easy for someone she was trying to get away from to find her. It wasn't all that obvious yet, but Enid was going somewhere important.
