BTWF Octane WarZone (Part 2)
"Visibility of Zero" by Rise Against plays, as Ed comes out to the boos of the crowd. Ed leers at all the crowd, who are jeering at him and walks slowly to the ring doing his best to ignore the crowd.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Ed!" Justin Roberts announced, as Ed went into the ring, and continued to leer at the crowd, who were now giving him the middle finger.
"Ed has really changed his attitude since Hardcore Heaven. He has done an excellent job of keeping the fans out of his head, and not letting the people distract him from his matches," JR explained, as Ed went to sit in the corner.
"And I say it'll do well for him. Unlike Mordecai who dedicates everything he does for the fans, which is why he led the team to failure," Naoko continued, causing Benson to roll his eyes.
"Mordecai did nothing wrong. Yes, he did get distracted from his tag team by a World title opportunity, but wouldn't you be?" Benson asked.
"Maybe, but Mordecai hasn't been able to let this go, while Ed seems ready to move on from him. As far as I'm concerned, Mordecai is damaging himself," Naoko countered, before "Time to Shine" by Saliva played throughout the speakers in the arena, turning the crowd's jeers into cheers.
"And his opponent, from Central Park, New York, Mordecai!" Justin Roberts announced as Mordecai ran to the ring, slid underneath the bottom rope, took Ed down with a double leg takedown, and started raining down punches on him. The referee pulled Mordecai off, allowing Ed to crawl to a corner to compose himself. The referee made sure Ed was ready before he rang the bell. When the bell was rung, Ed ran to Mordecai, who dodged the attack, causing Ed to ram his shoulder into the turnbuckle. Mordecai started punching and kicking Ed, sending him in a seated position in front of the bottom turnbuckle.
Mordecai went into an opposing corner, and ran to the corner where Ed was sitting, hitting a Hard-iac Arrest on him. Ed rolled out of the ring, clutching his chest in pain. Mordecai, not wanting to give Ed any reprieve, hit a springboard corkscrew crossbody on Ed, which the crowd responded to with cheers.
"And Mordecai is taking the early advantage against Ed," Benson stated. Naoko scoffed as Ed was kicked in the face my Mordecai once he attempted to stand up.
"He assaulted Ed before the match. Give it some time, and Ed will take back control," Naoko countered, as Mordecai went back to the apron and attempted a diving leg drop onto Ed, but Ed moved out of the way, causing Mordecai to hurt his lower back and leg on the padded concrete. "See? What did I tell you?" Naoko gloated as Ed picked Mordecai up and threw him into the steel steps before throwing him back in the ring.
As the crowd booed Ed, Ed started stomping on Mordecai's leg before putting him in the corner, and punched him in the gut before hitting a suplex onto Mordecai with enough power to throw him halfway across the ring. Ed slapped Mordecai in the head several times before picking him up, and tackling him into the corner. Ed started hitting shoulder thrusts in the corner onto Mordecai before hitting him with a Belly to Belly suplex.
"Unlike Mordecai, Ed uses an array of power moves that look simple to the untrained eye, but actually deliver a lot of damage to the opponent on the receiving end of those moves," JR explained as Ed stepped on Mordecai's stomach so that he could pose, much to the chagrin of the crowd.
"That's the difference between him and Mordecai. Mordecai wants to both win and excite the crowd, while Ed only wants to win, and that results in Ed having a less self destructive move set than Mordecai," Naoko agreed, as Ed put Mordecai in a chinlock. Mordecai began to fight out of it, and Ed countered that by ramming his knee several times in Mordecai's back.
Mordecai was able to get back to his feet, and elbow Ed in the gut several times before Ed grabbed Mordecai's head, and slammed him back down to the mat. Ed ran the ropes and hit several leg drops on the neck of Mordecai before hitting a running senton on Mordecai's chest before going for the first pinfall of the match.
Ref: 1…2
Mordecai kicked out, and Ed responded by kicking Mordecai in the chest and throwing him chest first into the turnbuckle before hitting a German suplex on Mordecai. Ed grabbed Mordecai's legs, gave a disingenuous thumbs up to the crowd, and put Mordecai in a Boston Crab. Mordecai tried to make it to the ropes while screaming in pain, but Ed was able to pull Mordecai back to the center of the ring. Ed also started pounding on Mordecai's right leg.
"Ed pounding the right leg of Mordecai that was injured by Stan Smith on Octane!" Benson exclaimed, as Mordecai tried again to go to the ropes, but wasn't able to pull Ed with him too far away from the center of the ring. 30 seconds later, Mordecai started pounding on Ed's leg, eventually causing Ed to let go of the hold. Ed punched his own leg and attempted to put Mordecai back in the Boston Crab, but Mordecai pushed Ed with his legs into the corner. Mordecai crawled into another corner, trying to get his feet using the ropes. Ed ran to the corner Mordecai was in, but Mordecai countered the attack into a drop toe hold into the bottom turnbuckle.
Mordecai started clapping, and the fans clapped with him, before he ran and hit a 619 onto Ed before hitting him with a springboard hurricanrana. Mordecai hit a couple of running splashes onto Ed's chest, before hitting a springboard corkscrew senton. Mordecai picked up Ed, slapped him in the face, and ran to the corner to hit the Whisper to the Wind onto Ed before going for the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2
Mordecai picked Ed up by his head, kicked him in the gut, and put Ed in position for the Twist of Fate, but Ed pushed Mordecai off, ran the ropes, and hit a Gore on Mordecai before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
"Both of these men have kicked out of their big moves, showing how much winning this grudge match means to them," JR explained, as both men were down on the floor, as the crowd was chanting for Mordecai, trying to will him to get up.
"I will admit, Mordecai lasted longer in this match than I thought he would, but that doesn't mean I think he's going to win," Naoko admitted, as Mordecai and Ed started groggily getting up. Ed attempted a clothesline to Mordecai, but Mordecai hit Ed with a Twist of Fate to the roar of the crowd. Mordecai took off his sleeveless T-Shirt, flipped off Naoko, and started climbing the turnbuckles.
"HEY! What the hell was that about!?" Naoko yelled.
"Well, you've been doing nothing but insulting him since Ed betrayed him. What, did you think that he was going to be your friend?" Benson responded, with JR chuckling at Naoko's shocked face.
"Well…no, but that was just uncalled for. All I was doing was offering criticism towards his attitude and wrestling style," Naoko countered as Mordecai was on the top rope, leading the fans in clapping before he dived off the top rope for a Swanton Bomb. Mordecai missed as Ed rolled out of the way of the Swanton, causing Mordecai to land back first on the ring canvas. Ed got up, yelled at the fans before picking Mordecai up and hit him with a One Handed Spinebuster and covered him.
Ref: 1…2…3
The bell rang as the crowd booed at Ed who smirked at the fans as his hand was raised in victory by the referee.
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner; Ed!" Justin Roberts announced, as the crowd continued to boo and as Ed exited the ring, leaving Mordecai grabbing his back with pain etched on his face.
"Well Ed able to show the BTWF Universe that he can survive the shark infested waters of the BTWF as a singles star," JR explained as Mordecai grabbed the ropes and tried to get up.
"As much as me and Mordecai don't see eye to eye on a lot of things, he gave it his all in this match and I have to give him credit for that," Naoko admitted, as Benson gave an over exaggerated gasp.
"Naoko, are you OK? You're not sick or anything are you?" Benson asked with faux concern.
"Yeah, real funny you jumbo headed prick," Naoko hissed back.
"Well before we get a boxing match here at the commentary table, our chairman has an announcement regarding a change to the match schedule for WarZone coming up after the Last Woman Standing match next," JR explained as the camera went to Chris Drahmin's office.
"As you all know, we have a BTWF title match tonight between Natsu Dragoneel and Kaworu Nagisa. Regardless of who wins this title match, we need #1 contenders. So after the Last Woman Standing match between Zoey Hanson and Akira Hayami, we will have the start of a Best of 5 series between Shoto Todoroki and Soul Eater Evans. The winner of this best of 5 series will earn a shot at the BTWF championship at Bash at the Beach. That's all for now, please enjoy the rest of WarZone, especially us defeating the TWAE," Chris Drahmin explained as the camera went back to the ring.
"The following contest is a Last Woman Standing contest. The winner of this match is the woman who incapacitates their opponent for the count of ten," Justin Roberts introduced as the houselights went out, leaving only a spotlight at the top of the entrance way. "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva plays through the speakers, as Akira Hayami comes out under the spotlight, with her arms outstretched as if she was waiting for the blessing of God himself.
"Introducing first, from Tokyo Japan, she is the self proclaimed Spotlight of the Women's Division, Akira Hayami!" Justin Roberts announced as the crowd boos. Akira went into the ring and grabbed Roberts by the collar of his shirt, offended by his 'self proclaimed' remark. Before she could do anything too rash, Zoey Hanson came from the crowd with a kendo stick and started hitting Akira with it. Justin Roberts escaped the ring, and the referee, before he went into the ring, told the timekeeper to ring the bell. When the bell rang, Zoey was still beating Akira with the kendo stick, so Akira escaped the ring.
Zoey put down the kendo stick and ran through the ropes with a suicide dive, but Akira did not go down. Zoey started punching Akira in the head, but Akira pushed Zoey into the ring apron, and hit a belly to belly suplex onto Zoey onto the padded concrete. The referee went outside the ring and started counting.
Ref: 1…2…3
Zoey started groggily getting up, holding her back, and Akira starts kneeing Zoey in the gut and the head, before throwing Zoey into the steel steps. Akira mounted Zoey and started hitting her with punches and elbows, before grabbing her by the hair, and ramming her head into the ring apron. Zoey kept her hands on the ring apron so that she wouldn't be able to go down. Zoey was able to kick Akira away so that she could go back into the ring.
"Zoey looking for some form of reprieve after that initial flurry," JR explained, as Akira went back into the ring, and grabbed Zoey's kendo stick with a sick smile on her face. Zoey was able to pull herself up, and Akira responded with shots to Zoey's back and stomach with the kendo stick before finishing with a hard shot to the top of Zoey's head.
"Ow! That had to hurt for Zoey Hanson," Benson exclaimed as Zoey fell face down on the ring canvas, with blood pouring out of the top of her head.
Ref: 1…2…3
Akira went to the top rope and posed for the fans.
Ref: 4…5…6
"I think Akira may have put the final nail in Zoey's coffin already," Naoko stated, as Akira started arguing with the booing fans.
Ref: 7…8
Zoey grabbed the ropes and pulled herself before the ref counted to 9. Akira hit Zoey with a diving axe handle from the 2nd rope, and the ref started the count again.
Ref: 1…2…3
"Very nice move by Akira. Had she been a little more green, she would have allowed Zoey to start hitting her," JR explained as the referee continued the count.
Ref: 4…5…6
Zoey rolled out of the ring, landing on her feet. Zoey crawled underneath the ring, causing Akira to let out a frustrated huff, and follower her out of the ring. Akira was able to see one of Zoey's boots under the ring, and pulled her out. However when Zoey did, she shot at Akira with a fire extinguisher she found underneath the ring. Zoey got up and started hitting Akira with the fire extinguisher twice in the stomach and once in the side of the face, sending her on the announce table.
"And Zoey found her second wind!" JR exclaimed, as Zoey went up to the apron, and roared much to the delight of the crowd. Noticing that Akira was still laying on the announce table, Zoey hit her with a springboard moonsault, hitting Akira but did not break the table. Zoey mounted Akira and hit her with punches, slaps, and elbows. Zoey started yelling at Akira, saying that they used to be friends and that this is what Akira wanted. Zoey threw Akira back into the ring, and positioned Akira on her knees before she started doing Daniel Bryan's Yes! Kicks to Akira's chest until she kicked Akira's chest 10 times before she kicked Akira in the head. For the first time in this match, the referee counted Akira out.
Ref: 1…2…3
"Zoey winning this match would have to be considered an upset," Naoko stated.
Ref: 4…5
Akira starts to get up, but Zoey immediately starts punching her in the face, sending her into the corner. Zoey keeps punching Akira in the face until Akira pokes her in the eye and pushes her off. However, Zoey starts hitting multiple running dropkicks on Akira while she is still in the corner. When Akira stumbles away from the corner, Zoey kicks her in the gut and hits her a DDT.
Ref: 1…2…3
"Zoey showing off her aggression in this match that we haven't seen from her in a long time!" JR exclaimed as Zoey waited in another corner as the referee continued to count out Akira.
Ref: 4…5…6
"Akira seems to be stirring, but will it be enough to get her up before the 10 count?" JR asked as Akira continued to stir.
Ref: 7…8
Akira was able to get up, rubbing the blood out of her eyes. Zoey picked Akira up and started punching her in the face some more. Akira, however, blocked one of Zoey's punches and hit her with a Spotlighter (F-5) onto Zoey, pinning her foot on Zoey's throat as the ref continued to count.
Ref: 1…2…3
"How is this OK!? Akira has her foot on Zoey's throat!" Benson called, as Akira yelled at the crowd who was booing him.
Ref: 4…5…6
"Well this match is no-DQ, so…you do the math," Naoko quipped, causing JR to chuckle.
Ref: 7…8…9
Zoey, at the count of 9, grabbed Akira's leg, and took her down to the mat, putting her in a legbar.
"AKIRA IS DOWN ON THE GROUND AND ZOEY HAS HER IN A SUBMISSION HOLD!" JR yelled, as Akira tried to punch Zoey off of her, but she keeps the hold on her. Zoey, while still holding Akira's leg, got up and started stomping on her leg. Akira tried to push her off, but Zoey just stomped on her leg more. Akira was able to grad Zoey by her top and throw her through the middle ropes and out of the ring, but Zoey was able to land on her feet and hit an enziguri onto the back of Akira.
"Zoey is showing as much heart as she has been showing aggression in this match," Naoko complimented as Zoey went back into the ring, and hit a springboard dropkick onto the back of Akira, sending her into the corner and her head into the top turnbuckle. Zoey went into another corner and waited for Akira to turn around, before she hit a running knee strike to the face of Akira, causing the crowd to cheer.
Ref: 1…2…3
Both Akira and Zoey were down, but Zoey was trying to climb up the ropes to pull herself up.
Ref: 4…5…6
At the count of 5, Zoey was able to get up and go into another corner, just in case Akira got back up.
Ref: 7…8…9
At the count of 9, Akira was able to pull herself up, while slapping her leg in order to try and get the blood flowing back into her leg. Zoey tried to hit another running knee on Akira, but Akira dodged the attack and threw her out of the ring. Akira left the ring, and got into a fistfight with Zoey.
"Amazing! What's it going to take for these women to go down for the 10 count?" JR asked, as Zoey started kicking Akira in the leg.
"Their unimaginable hatred for each other, JR. Zoey is fueled by vengeance, and Akira is fueled by just plain anger," Naoko responded as the two competitors made their way to the entrance way. As they brawled next to a set of production equipment, Akira blocked a punch by Zoey, and picked her up for a Spotlighter (F-5). However, Zoey was able to worm her way out of the move, and kick Akira square in the head.
"Well now that Zoey avoided disaster, what's she going to do now?" Benson asked, as Zoey started running to the other side of the entrance ramp with Akira still dizzy, before Zoey ran at Akira and hit her with another running knee, sending Akira down onto the production equipment and the tables down below the entrance way.
"HOLY SHIT!" Naoko yelled as sparks came up from where Akira landed.
"ZOEY MAY HAVE JUST DESTROYED AKIRA!" JR screamed as Zoey stood on the entrance ramp, glaring down at the unconscious body of Akira, buried underneath equipment and broken pieces of table.
Ref: 1…2…3
"Zoey has shown an aggressive side to her in this match that we haven't seen from her before, but I feel like she may have gone too far in this instance," Benson stated as the referee continued the count.
Ref: 4…5…6
Akira was still not moving down below the entrance ramp, while Zoey was still glaring at her, preparing for the unlikely scenario where Akira gets up.
Ref: 7…8…9
Akira started to stir, and was trying to get her back off of the floor, but was in too much pain to make the effort.
Ref: 10! Ring the Bell!
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Zoey Hanson!" Justin Roberts announced, nearly being drowned out by the cheers of the fans as Zoey Hanson used some of her remaining energy to run into the crowd, giving the people hugs and hi-fives.
"After this grueling and intense match, Zoey deserves some time to relax with her fans," Benson said, as medical personnel tended to Akira.
"I have to agree with you Benson. Zoey showed just how dangerous she could be," Naoko responded.
"Congratulations are in order to Zoey Hanson for surviving this intense and gruesome matchup. Now we go backstage to Matt Striker, who is currently standing by with the #1 contender for the BTWF Championship, Kaworu Nagisa," JR said, as the camera went to the interview area, where Matt Striker was standing next to Kaworu Nagisa with a microphone in his hand.
"Thank you for the introduction, JR. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the #1 contender for the BTWF title, Kaworu Nagisa," Matt introduced as the crowd booed when the purple robe clad Kaworu Nagisa came into the frame of the camera.
"Now Kaworu, tonight is your Money in the Bank cash in match for the BTWF title when you go one on one with the BTWF champion Natsu Dragoneel. Do you have any final thoughts before your match later tonight?" Striker asked before he put the microphone underneath his mouth. Kaworu chuckled before he responded.
"All I have to say is…Natsu should prepare for his loss and prepare to hand the championship to me when I win tonight," Kaworu said before he walked off. Striker nodded before turning his attention back to the camera.
"Strong words from the challenger ladies and gentlemen, now let's get back to the ring where a match with BTWF championship implications is about to take place. JR, take it away," Striker said, before the camera went back to the ring, and "Root of All Evil" by Incendiary plays as the lights in the arena go out aside from a red spotlight on the top of the entrance way. The spotlight revealed Todoroki sitting down criss cross looking at the darkness surrounding him before he stood up and opened his eyes, causing the lights in the arena to turn red and dark blue.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is the first match in a best of 5 series to determine a #1 contender for the BTWF championship!" Justin Roberts announced, as Todoroki walked to the ring much to the delight of the crowd. "Introducing first, from Tokyo Japan, Shoto Todoroki!" Justin Roberts called, as the crowd cheered for Todoroki sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope, and went back into a sitting position, positioning himself to look at the entrance. "Rebel Heart" by CFO$ plays as the lights in the arena went from dark red and blue to bright yellow and white. Soul ran out of the back, pointing over at the fans who were cheering him as well.
"And his opponent, from Death City Nevada, Soul Eater Evans!" Justin Roberts announced as Soul ran to the ring, and went down face to face with Todoroki, who showed no emotion on his face. Soul smirked at him before going to the top rope, and posing for the fans.
"These two new faces to the BTWF brand have the opportunity of a lifetime, getting a shot at the BTWF title," Benson explained as Soul came back down, and Todoroki moved to another corner, looking diagonally at Soul.
"And Todoroki already showed that he could go toe to toe with the BTWF champion when he barely lost to Natsu Dragoneel on Octane," JR explained as the bell rang, causing Soul and Todoroki to go into the corner. Todoroki offered a hand to Soul, who responded by shaking his hand. After the handshake, the two of them locked up, and Todoroki grabbed Soul's arm and put him in an armlock. Soul struggled for a few moments before he countered it into his own armbar. Todoroki walked to the ropes, and put one of his legs on the outside. The referee tried to get Soul off of Todoroki, and Todoroki used that distraction to elbow Soul in the face.
"And Todoroki taking every advantage he can get here," JR stated, as Todoroki put Soul into a headlock. Soul tried to irish whip Todoroki off of him, but he kept the hold locked in. Soul punched Todoroki in the gut a couple of times and hit him with a back suplex, but Todoroki still kept the headlock on. Soul started punching Todoroki in the gut more, and was able to use the split second of Todoroki registering the pain of the gut shots, to move behind Todoroki and hit a reverse DDT on Todoroki, much to the delight of the crowd, which was split down the middle, supporting both wrestlers.
"Very nice counter by Soul!" JR exclaimed as Soul put Todoroki into the corner and hit him with a few knife edge chops before hitting an uppercut on the chin before hitting him with a scoop slam and a double foot stomp on the chest before hitting the ropes and hitting a running neckbreaker onto a seated Todoroki before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2.
Todoroki kicked out, causing Soul to pick him up, kick him in the gut, and attempt a springboard clothesline from the 2nd rope, but Todoroki countered with a bicycle knee strike onto Soul's face. Todoroki grabbed Soul by the wrist, and hit several boots to Soul's face before hitting a seated hurricanrana driver onto Soul. Todoroki smiled at Soul before putting him on his knees, and hit Soul with a shining wizard before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Soul kicked out, causing Todoroki to put Soul into a seated abdominal stretch. Soul tried to hit Todoroki off of him, but he was contorted in a way that made this impossible. Soul tried to scoot to the ropes, but Todoroki pulled him back to the center of the ring. However, since Todoroki had loosened his hold on Soul, allowing Soul to roll Todoroki up.
Ref: 1…2
Todoroki kicked out, grabbed Soul by the arm, and repeatedly struck Soul in the chest with his knees before running the ropes and hitting a dropkick on the side of Soul's head. When Soul went back first down on the ground, Todoroki hit a running knee drop to Soul's head. Todoroki went into a corner, and went up to the 2nd rope. Todoroki took off his right knee pad, and jumped off the rope, hitting Soul in the neck and chest area with his exposed knee before pinning him.
Ref: 1…2
Soul barely rolled his shoulder up, causing Todoroki to stand and glare at the referee.
"I think Todoroki is starting to show some frustration, which is really rare for him," Benson explained, as the referee backed away from Todoroki.
"Todoroki is usually an athlete that known for his discipline and calm demeanor in the ring, helping him focus on strategy and his opponent," JR further explained as Todoroki hit Soul with a soccer ball kick.
"Well wouldn't you be a little agitated that a 2nd rope uncovered knee to the neck didn't put your opponent away?" Naoko countered, as Soul used the ropes to try and get up. Todoroki attempted to hit Soul with a cutter, but Soul pushed Todoroki off. Todoroki attempted to run at Soul again, but Soul pulled the ropes down, sending Todoroki crashing down onto the padded concrete floor. Soul, as Todoroki was starting to get back up on his feet, ran through the ropes with a suicide dive, hitting Todoroki and sending him back first into the fan barricade.
"And Soul able to get some momentum back on his side!" JR exclaimed, as Soul got up and threw Todoroki back into the ring and followed him in. When Todoroki stood up, Soul hit him with three clotheslines, a reverse atomic drop, a DDT, a dropkick to Todroki's face in a seated position, and a springboard leg drop onto Todoroki's neck. Soul put an arm up before hitting a running shooting star press before going for the pin.
Ref: 1…2
Soul picked Todoroki up again and hit him with a side slam and several spinning elbow drops, before going up to the top rope, and preparing for a move. Todoroki was starting to get up, but Soul still attempted an Arabian Facebuster from the top rope, but Todoroki was able to dodge, sending Soul crashing down to the canvas, and hitting a kick right to the face of Soul before locking him in the Dragon Slayer.
"THE DRAGON SLAYER IS LOCKED IN!" JR yelled, as Todoroki kept cranking Soul's neck. Soul tried to crawl to the ropes, but Todoroki pulled him back to the center of the ring. This time, Todoroki kept Soul in the submission, so Soul was unable to escape like he did with the seated abdominal stretch before. Soul, after another minute in the hold, was able to muster enough strength to throw Todoroki off of him and hit a knee to his back. Grabbing his throat, Soul hit Todoroki with a German Suplex once Todoroki stood up, and bridged for a pin.
Ref: 1…2
Todoroki kicked out, and Soul went back on the attack with punches to the face, but Todoroki countered with two kicks to the leg, a spin kick to the gut, a back kick to Soul's neck, and a knee right on the bridge of Soul's nose. Todoroki looked at the top rope and nodded to himself before he climbed to the top rope, and did a throat-cutting taunt to the crowd and Soul. Todoroki hit a diving double foot stomp onto Soul, but despite being hit with the move, Soul rolled Todoroki up in a small package.
Ref: 1…2…3
*Bell rings*
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, Soul Eater Evans!" Justin Roberts announced as the crowd cheered. Soul rolled out of the ring while holding his ribs to celebrate, while Todoroki was looking at Soul with a shocked expression on his face.
"Soul got the pin in an amazing back and forth contest," JR stated as Soul ran to the top of the ramp with both his fists up, while Todoroki walked out of the ring with the blank stare returning to his face.
"Well, this is only one out of the five matches that these two will have to determine a new #1 contender for the BTWF title," Naoko further explained, as Soul stopped at the ramp to shake Todoroki's hand. Todoroki looked at Soul's hand for a few moments, and took a deep breath before patting him on the shoulder and leaving.
"Looks like Todoroki isn't in the mood for sportsmanship," Benson explained, as Soul looked at Todoroki's disappearing frame before sighing and returning to playing to the crowd.
"Well we'll see what this means for the rest of the Best of 5 series. Now, we have three more title matches coming up before the epic 6 on 6 interpromotional warfare match," Naoko explained.
"That's right, Naoko. We have Rei Ayanami defending her Women's title against Asuka Langley Soryu in Asuka's contractually obligated rematch, Shinji Ikari defending his United States title in a Steel Cage match against Stan Smith, and Natsu Dragoneel will be defending the BTWF title against the holder of the Money in the Bank contract, Kaworu Nagisa," JR further explained as the camera panned to the excited crowd.
