BTWF Cyber Sunday (Day 2 Part 3)

The camera faded into the locker room, where Hazama Clover was getting ready to leave. However, before he could reach for the door, Clover Lamoreaux and Jerry Lewis came into the locker room.

"So...you're the other Clover I've heard so much about? Well, I just wanted to congratulate you on doing your best out there. Even though you failed, you looked...halfway decent doing it. Of course, if it were me out there, I would've looked amazing in defeat. Not that I would lose, but you get the idea," Clover bragged as Jerry looked on with a proud smile and Hazama looked at her in mild annoyance.

"Spare me the sarcastic drivel, Ms. Lamoreaux. I can tell that all your words are just as empty as your soul," Hazama said, smirking at her.

"Oh spare me the lecture. 'Oh, how could you turn on Alex and Sam? They were your best friends.' They were, but I realized that for my career to go the way I wanted it to, I had to cut the dead weight that was holding me back from reaching my true potential!" Clover explained as Hazama looked like he was more focused on making sure he had everything in his bag than actually listening to what Clover was saying.

"You clearly have yet to cut off all the dead weight. Perhaps if you did you would have been fighting for a championship. Instead, you simply are relegated to being a possibility for being the referee in a match where instead of working your way into the picture, you simply get to be the one taking the picture from behind the camera. How... disappointing," Hazama countered, causing Clover to get more pissed as Jerry was trying to calm her down from behind.

"I should be at the top, but my idiot GMs think that it would be better if I babysat two girls who keep fighting each other like they're children. And speaking of idiot GMs, I still haven't forgiven that dumb alley cat for making me lose to that rookie Ochako!" Clover exclaimed with Hazama going back to looking through his bag, further infuriating Clover.

"You seem all too willing to place the blame on others. Yet you lack the ability to understand why you have created your own undoing. Consider it a lesson. I would not have ascended to the top of Japanese wrestling had I not accepted my own losses as my own fault. Until you do that, you will never achieve anything," Hazama responded.

"What're you, my Dad!? Don't try and lecture me when I'm still the biggest star in the Octane Women's Division, whether or not I'm actually wrestling! I WILL get the championship I deserve soon so you don't need to worry about that. I, however, am worried about your chances of sticking around in this business with all the younger and better wrestlers showing up in S7W!" Clover bit back as Hazama looked at her with a slightly raised eyebrow.

"First of all, I happen to only be 32 which most wrestlers only begin to hit their stride at. And I do not need to worry about the young ones. They lack experience, but there is more than that. I will not bore you with the details, you seem more hung up on your own failure than anything else to listen to my advice. Consider this though, you still have much to learn. You are young so there is room for growth, but until then, your ambitions will end in failure. And it will all be most… Intriguing. Have a pleasant day as it was my absolute displeasure to meet you." Hazama left the locker room with a smirk, waving goodbye as if he enjoyed the conversation.

"Like I liked talking to you either! Va te faire foutre, tu es une tête de merde!" Clover yelled in French before punching the side of the locker room door and heading to Gorilla Position to hear the results of the voting.

The lights in the arena went down, as the crowd booed a single spotlight appearing in the middle of the stage as 'Ladies and Gentlemen' by Saliva played throughout the speakers. Soon after the song started playing, Akira Hayami walked out of the back with a glare accompanying her confident smirk as she made her way to the ring, with the spotlight following her as she made her way to the ring.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is to determine the #1 contender for the BTWF World Women's Championship. Introducing first, from Yokohama, Japan, she is the Spotlight of the BTWF Women's Division, Akira Hayami!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd booed even louder as Akira made her way up the steel steps while cracking her knuckles with the spotlight continuing to accompany her.

"Akira and her opponent for tonight, Zia Simpson, have been involved in a feud full of vitriol and violence! And it all comes to a head tonight!" Cornette exclaimed as Akira walked into the middle of the ring and outstretched her arms, causing the spotlight to disappear and the lights in the arena to come back on as the crowd continued to boo her.

"Akira, since she's come back to the BTWF, said that she wants to capture the World Women's Championship!" Beth exclaimed as 'Fear Nothing' by CFO$ played, causing the crowd to cheer as Zia ran out of the back, stopped at the stage, and shot both of her arms in the air while pointing upwards, causing pyro and smoke to come out of the stage as the crowd cheered louder.

"And her opponent, from Springfield, Illinois, she is the Woman that Gravity Forgot, Zia Simpson!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd cheered Zia running to the ring and sliding underneath the bottom rope into the ring.

"Zia looks ready for a fight, which knowing her headstrong attitude, isn't much of a surprise!" Okabe exclaimed as Zia immediately got into Akira's face, arguing with her and pushing her, with Akira responding in kind. The camera then panned to Scott Stanford standing behind the podium as the two women continued to trash talk each other.

"Ladies and gentlemen, your votes for the special guest referee of this #1 contender's match have been counted and we will see who will be in charge of this important match. Will it be the controversial and outspoken Clover Lamoreaux? Will it be the BTWF Hall of Famer who showed that she still had it in the ring, Misato Katsuragi? Or will it be the first true villain of the BTWF, Medusa Gorgon?" Scott asked, before pictures of Clover, Misato, and Medusa disappearing and reappearing before the picture of Clover stayed on the screen, causing the crowd to boo as Clover came walking out the back with an annoyed look on her face.

"Clover has been selected to be the special guest referee, and she is not happy about it!" Beth exclaimed as Clover walked her way to the ring with a tank top with black and white referee stripes and short black shorts. Clover glared at the still arguing forms of Zia and Akira before rolling into the ring and getting in between them. Clover started yelling at the two of them, telling them to wait until the match actually started. Akira and Zia hesitantly moved away from each other before Clover walked to the side of the ring and told the referee to ring the bell.

"And this match has started! How long will it take for them to trade bombs with each other!?" Cornette exclaimed as Akira and Zia immediately started trading punches with each other in the middle of the ring, causing the crowd to cheer as Clover looked on in the corner. Zia was able to win this punch off and sent Akira into the corner with multiple punches to the face, with Clover not even bothering to stop Zia from punching Akira. Zia stopped once Akira fell to the bottom turnbuckle, and Zia ran the ropes before hitting Akira with a running face wash. Akira tried to crawl away from Zia, but Zia ran and hit Akira's back while she was on all fours and hit her with a corkscrew moonsault before going for the pin.

Clover: 1…

"Clover not doing the best job as a referee in this match, probably wanting the attention that she's been craving since her victory against Sam Simpson on Bash in the Beach!" Beth exclaimed as Zia glared at Clover before she started hitting Akira with multiple uppercuts before kicking her in the gut and attempting to Irish whip her into the corner. However, Akira was able to counter the Irish whip and throw Zia into the corner. However, Zia was able to run-up to the top rope and hit a missile dropkick onto Akira, causing the crowd to cheer before going for another pin.

Clover: 1…

"Another slow count allowing Akira to kick out at a count of one!" Cornette exclaimed as Clover went back to the corner before Zia attempted to grab Akira by the hair again. However, Akira pushed Zia away and picked her up and pushed her in the corner before hitting her with multiple shoulder tackles in the corner. Clover chuckled at Zia's predicament before Zia grabbed her by the sides and attempted to hit her with an Overhead Belly to Belly suplex. However, Zia was able to counter with multiple elbows to the sides of Akira's head, but Akira then pushed Zia back into the corner. Akira then went to the other side of the ring before running to Zia with an attempted running spear into the corner. However, Zia was able to move out of the way, causing Akira to throw herself into the steel ring post and fall to the outside of the ring, causing the crowd to cheer while Clover lightly applauded while rolling her eyes.

"Akira tackled the steel ring post and threw herself to the outside!" Okabe exclaimed as Akira tried to get back onto her feet, but Zia ran the ropes and hit Akira with a diving corkscrew moonsault to the outside and onto Zia, causing the crowd to cheer.

"And Zia with that corkscrew moonsault sending the fans into a frenzy and Zia back down to the ground!" Beth exclaimed as Zia mounted Akira and started hitting her in the face with forearms with the crowd chanting 'Zia' as she continued to hit her with Clover sighing and rolling her eyes before walking up to one of the corners of the ring and started counting.

Clover: 1…2…

The crowd cheered as Zia pulled Akira back up by her top and attempted to throw her into the ropes, but Akira countered the Irish whip. However, Zia was able to jump on top of the steel steps, causing the crowd to cheer, and attempted to hit Akira with a crossbody, but Akira was able to grab her in midair, and threw her across the other side of the ringside area with a Fallaway Slam, causing the crowd to boo at Akira.

"And that Fallaway Slam onto the padded concrete just turned the momentum of this match around!" Cornette exclaimed as Clover was continuing her slow as molasses count.

Clover:…3…4…5

Akira then grabbed Zia by the head and threw her back into the ring, but kept Zia's head dangling from the apron. Akira then jumped onto the apron and hit Zia with a leg drop before rolling her full body into the ring and following her in there. Once Akira was in the ring, she picked Zia up by the hair, and started punching her in the gut multiple times before hitting Zia with the Overhead Belly to Belly suplex that she tried earlier in the match. Akira then glared at Clover before going down to pin Zia.

Clover: 1…2

"I guess Akira found a way to get Clover to improve her counts; threaten to beat her up!" Beth exclaimed as Akira ran the ropes and hit another jumping leg drop across Zia's throat.

"Well, that is a pretty good way to deal with Clover's childish actions!" Okabe responded as Clover backed away as Akira mounted Zia and started punching her in the face and chest before picking her up by the throat, and hitting her with a double-handed chokeslam before picking Zia back up by the hair and threw her into the corner chest first. Akira then hit her with a German Suplex that sent her across the ring. The crowd booed and chanted 'Lesnar sucks' as Akira rolled her eyes with a smirk on her face before picking her up and hitting Zia with another German Suplex that sent her across the other side of the ring.

"Akira wants to take Zia on a trip to Suplex City!" Cornette exclaimed before Akira grabbed Zia and hit her with a third German Suplex before going for another pin.

Clover: 1…2

Akira shot up and glared at Clover, who left the ring in response, allowing Zia to get onto all fours. However, Akira responded with multiple Penalty Kicks to the gut and chest before picking her up and hitting her with a Reverse Gutwrench Suplex and locking Zia in a grounded Abdominal Stretch, causing the crowd to start cheering and chanting for Zia as she tried to fight her way out of it. Clover looked on at Zia's struggling form and yelled at her to just tap out, as she was never going to get out of it. Zia yelled back at her to shut the fuck up as she tried to drag herself to the ropes.

"Well, it looks like Clover isn't going to be unbiased in this match!" Beth exclaimed as Akira was able to roll Zia back to the center of the ring before Zia immediately started hitting elbowing Akira in the face, allowing her to escape Akira's grip. Zia ran the ropes and attempted to hit Akira with a running Meteora, but Akira was able to dodge and hit her with a 4th German Suplex before putting Zia on her knees and kneeing her in the face multiple times before running the ropes and hitting Zia with a running reverse STO before going for another pin.

Clover: 1…2.

"Zia still in the fight, despite a 4th vicious German Suplex that dropped her on her neck!" Okabe exclaimed as Akira picked Zia up and put her in a Bearhug. The crowd booed as Clover went up to Zia and yelled in her ear to give up, while Zia tried to punch her way out of Akira's Bearhug. However, Akira just tightened the grip on her Bearhug and even started jumping around to put more pressure on her back. Zia then started hitting Akira in the face with multiple headbutts, causing the crowd to cheer as Akira finally let go of her, with blood pouring out of her nose like a faucet.

"And I think Zia may have just broken Akira's nose!" Cornette exclaimed as Zia started kicking Akira in the legs and sides before hitting her with a spin kick to the face, causing the crowd to cheer despite Akira still standing on her feet. Akira ran the ropes and hit multiple running double ax handles, a Sling Blade, a running dropkick to the knee followed by a running dropkick to the side of the head, and a Float Over DDT. The crowd continued to chant for Zia as she ran the ropes and hit a standing shooting star press before putting Akira in a seated position and running the ropes to hit her with a Meteora before going for the pin.

Clover: 1…2..

"And now Clover decides to act fair! But why!?" Okabe asked as Clover went back into the corner as Zia ran the ropes and springboarded off of the middle rope to hit Akira with a moonsault into a reverse DDT, before picking her up for a Deadlifting German Suplex, causing the crowd to cheer as Zia bridged for a pin.

Clover: 1…2..

"I think at this point, Clover just really stopped caring about screwing anyone and just wants to end the match so that she can put all the attention on herself!" Cornette exclaimed as Zia waited for Akira to get back to her feet before hitting her with a Superkick and locking her in the Rings of Saturn, causing the crowd to cheer as Akira was already down to a knee as Zia kept pulling back on the arm that Akira ran into the steel ring post.

"It's very interesting that Zia would remember Akira running her shoulder and arm into the steel ring post!" Okabe exclaimed as Clover asked if Akira wanted to quit, which she responded to with multiple loud 'No's. Zia continued bending Akira's arm back further as Akira fell to both knees, but Clover grabbed Zia by the hair and pulled her off of Akira, causing the crowd to boo as Clover threw Zia to the side as she checked on Akira.

"Oh so now Clover is back to trying to screw Zia! I guess Clover was acting like she was trying to be fair just so that she can keep the fans attention on her!" Beth exclaimed as Zia grabbed Clover by the collar of her shirt and started yelling at her. Clover yelled back at her and threatened to disqualify Zia if she kept touching her. While Zia was distracted by Clover, Akira was able to get up and hit Zia with a chop block from behind her leg, causing the crowd to boo and Clover to smirk at Zia's downed form.

"And now Akira is targeting the leg, possibly trying to take away the high flying ability of Zia, taking away a major part of Zia's arsenal!" Cornette exclaimed as Akira picked Zia up and hit her with multiple shin-breakers before putting her in a Fireman's Carry, and hitting a Backbreaker onto her. Akira then grabbed Zia's right leg and hit her with multiple leg snaps before running the ropes and hitting a third leg drop onto Zia's right leg. Akira then stepped on Zia's leg and posed on it while the crowd booed and Clover chuckled. Zia pushed Akira off, but Akira responded by running the ropes and hitting Zia in the face with a boot before going for the pin.

Clover: 1…2..

Akira grabbed Zia's right leg and started pounding on the knee before turning Zia on her stomach and slammed her knee onto the canvas multiple times. The crowd booed as Akira grabbed the back of her leg again and started kicking at her knee before throwing her into the corner. Akira ran into the corner with a Gore before she grabbed Zia's leg, hung it against the ropes, and jumped on the back of her knee with a stomp before dragging her to the center of the ring and putting her in a Spinning Toe Hold, causing the crowd to boo and cheer for Zia to escape.

"And Akira has Zia locked in the Spinning Toe Hold ala Terry Funk!" Cornette exclaimed as Zia tried to drag herself to the ropes, but Akira was able to pull her back to the center of the ring. Clover paid close attention to Zia's screams of pain and yelled at her to just tap out. Zia countered by telling Clover to go fuck herself before she turned to her back and started kicking Akira in the face, causing the crowd to cheer. However, Akira countered with another leg snap before deadlifting her into a Military Press. The crowd booed as Akira threw Zia to onto the top of the turnbuckle, hit a Penalty Kick to her chest, and picked her up in a Powerslam position. Akira attempted to run and hit Zia with a Powerslam into a corner, but Zia was able to escape the move and push Akira into the corner, causing her head to bounce off the top turnbuckle. The crowd cheered as Zia hit a sit-out jawbreaker onto Akira, sending her into the bottom turnbuckle as the crowd continued to cheer and chant for Zia.

"Zia may have finally gotten her momentum back in this match!" Okabe exclaimed as Zia grabbed Akira and started punching her in the face and kept her in the bottom turnbuckle before she ran the ropes and hit another standing Meteora onto Akira before dragging her, with all her strength, to the center of the ring where she went to the middle rope and hit a springboard twisting splash. Zia then put Akira in a sitting position, and much to the crowd's delight ran the ropes and hit a shining wizard onto Akira before going for another pin.

Clover: 1…2..

"I'm surprised that shining wizard didn't end the match right there, as it looked like she took off Akira's head with it!" Beth exclaimed as Akira rolled out onto the apron, but Zia was close behind and was able to hit Akira with a springboard triangle enziguri that sent her falling to the outside. Zia then went onto the apron and hit her with a running shooting star press onto Akira before picking her up by the hair and slamming her multiple times into the fan barricade before Zia started punching Akira in the face. Clover looked on in disgust as Zia started stomping on Akira as she started her count.

Clover: 1…2…3…4

"Clover's counting a little fast there!" Cornette exclaimed as Zia quickly grabbed Akira by her top and threw her back into the ring. Zia glared at Clover before she grabbed both of Akira's arms and hit her with a Straight Jacket Neckbreaker, picked her up for a Straight Jacket DDT, and then picked her up once again for a Straight Jacket Powerbomb, causing the crowd to cheer before going for another pin.

"A Straight Jacket Combination by Zia could finally end the match and secure her the #1 contendership for the World Women's Championship!" Beth exclaimed as Clover went down to the canvas slowly and started counting.

Ref: 1…2..

Zia looked over to the corner, causing the crowd to cheer, and started climbing up to the top rope. Once Zia was balanced on the top rope, she attempted to hit the Blue Arrow (Red Arrow) onto Akira, but Akira was able to roll out of the way. However, Zia was able to land on her feet, which caused her right leg to give out and cause her to fall.

"I knew that Zia going up to the top rope was going to end badly. In this case, it just caused more damage to Zia's leg," Okabe explained as Akira picked her up and attempted to hit her with a Spotlighter (F-5), but Zia was able to escape and hit her with multiple kicks to the knees and sides again before running the ropes and attempting to hit a Hurricanrana onto Akira. However, Akira was able to hold Zia up and hit her with a high speed and high angle Powerbomb onto Akira, causing the crowd to boo and wince as Akira grabbed Zia's right leg and locked her in the Akira Lock (Brock Lock).

"After a Powerbomb that damn near sent her through the ring, Akira has Zia locked in the Brock Lock!" Cornette exclaimed as Zia tried to drag herself to the ropes, but Akira dragged Zia back to the center of the ring and after a few seconds, Zia tapped out. However, Clover sat down criss-cross in the middle of the ring and asked Zia repeatedly if she was sure that she wanted to give up, causing the crowd to boo before she finally told the timekeeper to ring the bell.

*Bell Rings*

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner as a result of a submission, and the new #1 contender for the BTWF World Women's Championship, the Spotlight of the BTWF Women's Division, Akira Hayami!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd booed while Clover laughed at Zia as she held her leg in pain and Akira leaped up to the top rope and celebrated by spreading her arms out as the lights in the arena went down and the spotlight came back.

"Akira, with that devastating submission hold, is able to defeat the Woman that Gravity Forgot!" Beth exclaimed as Clover grabbed Zia by the hair and hit her with the White Cyanide (Brain Buster), causing the crowd to boo.

"Oh come on! What was that for!?" Beth exclaimed with disgust as Clover kicked Akira out of the ring and celebrated with Akira, who glared at her as she jumped back down and stomped over to Clover, who attempted to back away.

"Well Clover wanted to steal some of Akira's spotlight, and if there's one thing we should know about Akira, she does not like that!" Cornette exclaimed as Akira picked Clover up in a Fireman's Carry, and hit the Spotlighter (F-5) onto Clover before rolling out of the ring and continuing to celebrate with the spotlight still following her.

"And just like that, the spotlight is back on Akira, and if she keeps doing what she did tonight, the spotlight is going to stay on her for a long time," Okabe explained before the camera panned to the backstage area, where Kaworu Nagisa was polishing his championship belt.

"I may have my back against the wall tonight, but I will once again prove all the plebeians in the audience wrong and defeat Natsu once again," Kaworu said with a smile on his face as he took the championship and displayed it in front of the camera.

"This championship represents the sole motivation of all the risks I took throughout my career in the BTWF, such as 'stabbing Shinji in the back' and if Natsu thinks that last month was a 'fluke', then it will be my pleasure to prove him wrong," Kaworu finished as the camera panned back to the stage, where 'Time to Shine' by Saliva played, causing the crowd to cheer as Zoey Hanson walked out of the back, looking nervous but determined at the same time as she made her way to the ring.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the BTWF World Women's Championship! Introducing the challenger, from Hollywood California, Zoey Hanson!" Tim Barr announced as Zoey hi-fived several fans as she continued to lock eyes with the ring. As Zoey rolled in the ring, she slapped herself in the face multiple times to psyche herself up before Rei came out.

"Zoey knows that if she loses this Women's title match, she could suffer a humiliation that she does not want!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey went into the corner before 'Shatter Me' by Lindsey Sterling and Lzzy Hale played as the crowd cheered even louder for Rei coming out with her light blue robe.

"And her opponent, from Tokyo, Japan, she is the BTWF World Women's Champion, Rei Ayanami!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd cheered even more as Rei walked to the ring, taking off her robe and taking the championship off of her waist.

"One thing that Rei Ayanami is known for is her confident and cool demeanor, which is the exact opposite of Zoey's nervous and emotional state at the moment!" Beth exclaimed as Rei climbed up to the top of the steel ring post, and held her championship above her head, causing the crowd to cheer louder and Zoey to glare at the championship.

"But these emotions could help her find the aggression within her that could help her win the championship from a woman who has kept her spot at the top of the Women's Division on Octane," Okabe countered as Rei jumped to the middle of the ring and handed her title to the referee before extending her hand for a handshake from Zoey. Zoey hesitated, looking towards the cheering crowd while thinking of what to do before she did give Rei a handshake just before the bell rang.

"And now this Women's Championship match is underway!" Okabe exclaimed as Zoey and Rei circled each other for a moment before they started locking up, with the crowd chanting both competitors' names before Zoey was able to win the lock-up by sending Rei down to the ground with a Fireman's Carry before locking her in an armlock. Rei was able to escape the hold after a few seconds by putting her in her own armlock, but Zoey was able to drag herself to the ropes with her legs. Rei willingly broke the hold, but Zoey immediately tripped her up with a Drop Toe Hold and locked her in a headlock. Rei was able to get out of the headlock and put her in a rear chinlock, which Zoey was able to slip out of and push Rei away. The two of them got back to their feet and stared at each other intently, causing the crowd to cheer and applaud the technical wrestling on display.

"Looks like things are a lot more even than most thought they would be!" Cornette exclaimed as the two locked up again, but this time, Rei was able to win this exchange by putting Zoey back in the headlock. The crowd cheered as Zoey attempted to Irish whip Rei off of her, but Rei continued to keep the headlock locked in tightly. Zoey then tripped Rei up and put her in a headlock of her own, with the crowd continuing to chant the names of both women as Rei was able to grab Zoey's arms and put her in a Keylock.

"These two women continuing to exchange submission holds in the middle of the ring as if they're trying to one-up each other!" Beth exclaimed as Zoey was able to get onto her feet and roll Rei slightly, causing her shoulders to land on the mat, executing a pinfall.

Ref: 1…2

Rei was able to kick out of the pin and keep the Keylock on Zoey, with the crowd continuing their dual chants. Zoey was able to get back onto her feet and pull herself out of the Keylock, holding her arm in pain as the referee checked on her. Rei also went to check on her, but when Zoey saw this, she hit Rei with a headbutt to the face, causing the crowd to cheer before throwing her into the corner and stomping her. Zoey then ran the ropes and hit Rei with a running knee to the face, sending her falling to the bottom turnbuckle.

"And Rei getting hit right in the face with a headbutt by Zoey! I think it's safe to say that we've reached the end of the technical wrestling portion of this match!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey ran the ropes and hit a running dropkick to Rei's face before picking her up for a neckbreaker. Zoey then pushed Rei out of the way and climbed up to the 2nd rope and waited for Rei to get back on her feet. However, when Zoey dived off of the top rope for a missile dropkick, Rei was able to counter by hitting her with a reverse atomic drop and hit her with a Northern Lights Suplex before bridging for a pin.

Ref: 1…2

"Rei has come back into this match with a beautiful Northern Lights Suplex!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei picked Zoey up and hit her with multiple chops across the chest. Rei then Irish whipped Zoey into the ropes, but Zoey was able to hit Rei with a Hurricanrana when she rebounded, but Rei was able to land on her feet and hit Zoey with a dropkick to the face, causing the crowd to cheer loudly and chant for Rei. Rei then grabbed Zoey's legs and attempted to lock her in the Angelic Stretch (Lasso from El Paso), but Zoey was able to push her off and roll her up in a Jackknife pin.

Ref: 1…2.

"Zoey able to escape the Angelic Stretch!" Beth exclaimed as Zoey grabbed Rei by the arm and attempted to Irish whip her, but Rei was able to throw her out of the ring and onto the apron. Rei attempted to run at Zoey, but Zoey was able to counter with multiple punches to the head but when she attempted to springboard back into the ring, Rei pushed her off of the ropes but Zoey was able to land on her feet. The crowd cheered as Zoey was trying to regain her balance, but Rei was able to use this distraction to run the ropes and hit Zoey with a suicide dive that sent her into the announcers' table, causing the crowd to explode as Rei climbed up the fan barricade and lifted her arms in the air, causing the fans to once again explode.

"That suicide dive to the outside by Rei Ayanami, and the crowd has become unglued!" Beth exclaimed as Rei jumped down from the fan barricade, and saw that Zoey was laying down face first on the announcers' table with her head hanging from the edge of the top. Rei then ran at Zoey and hit her with a running knee to the face before picking her up and hitting her with a suplex onto the floor. Rei then kipped up, causing the crowd to once again explode as she picked Zoey up and hit her with more knife-edge chops to the chest as the referee started counting.

Ref: 1…2…3

"That vicious knee to the side of Zoey's head damn near took it off!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey blocked one of the knife-edge chops and kicked Rei's arms multiple times before putting Rei's arm in a hammerlock before pushing her into the steel ring post, causing the crowd to cheer as Rei attempted to walk away from Zoey as she chased after Rei and got on top of the steel steps to hit her with a diving knee to Rei's back before hitting her with a Russian Leg Sweep with a hammerlock into the fan barricade before flexing for the cheering crowd.

Ref: …4…5…6

"Zoey targeting the arm after that throw into the steel ring post!" Beth exclaimed as Zoey noticed the referee counted and rolled into the ring to break up the pin. Zoey then noticed Rei starting to get back up to her feet, so she grabbed the top of the rope, and springboarded to the outside with a diving crossbody. The crowd cheered as Zoey once again grabbed Rei's right arm, put it behind her back in a hammerlock, and started ramming it into the fan barricade multiple times before throwing her back into the ring.

"Zoey showing off her in-ring smarts here. She is targeting the arm of Rei, which helps her make it easier to apply her submission hold, the Cat Nap (Crossface Chickenwing), but it will also make it harder for Rei to do a lot of her moves, like the Redemption (Cross Rhodes) or the Angelic Stretch (Lasso from El Paso)," Okabe explained as Zoey got up to the apron and springboarded into the ring with a leg drop onto Rei's throat before going for another pin.

Ref: 1…2.

"That's right Okabe, and Zoey also showed her ring smarts by breaking up the count by the referee so that she could continue to use the fan barricade to her advantage," Cornette agreed as Zoey grabbed Rei's right arm and kicked her in the back of the elbow and threw her into the corner before she started kicking Rei in the chest.

"Zoey has said that she does not want to be humiliated by losing this match, so it's not surprising that she is being more aggressive here than we have seen her with anyone who isn't Akira Hayami," Beth explained as Zoey wraps Rei's right arm around the top rope and started stretching the arm, causing Rei to scream in pain before the referee tells Zoey to let go. Zoey does, but kicks Rei's arm one last time before grabbing it in an armbar hold, and hits a Tornado DDT onto the right arm before going for a pin that pushed the right arm down with her elbow.

Ref: 1…2.

"Zoey is now 100% focused on that right arm of Rei!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey grabbed Rei's arm and wrung it a few times before Rei was able to escape and hit multiple forearms to Zoey's face before running the ropes. Zoey was able to counter this attack with a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker before putting her in a seated position and ran the ropes to hit a running crossbody onto Rei before going for another pin.

Ref: 1…2.

Rei kicked out and Zoey immediately grabbed her arm and put her in a Fujiwara Armbar, with half the crowd chanting for Rei to tap out, and the other half chanting for Rei to escape.

"And one of the painful submissions someone could put on the arm, and Rei is locked in it in the middle of the ring!" Okabe exclaimed as the crowd was still going wild as Rei tried to drag herself to the ropes. However, Zoey started elbowing Rei in the face several times before dragging her back to the center of the ring. However, Rei was able to roll Zoey up, causing the crowd to cheer.

Ref: 1…2

Zoey was able to kick out and put Rei back in the Fujiwara Armbar.

"Rei was close to getting the sneaky pin, but Zoey was one step ahead and put her back in the armbar!" Beth exclaimed as Rei tried to drag herself to the ropes again, but Zoey flipped her to the other side of the ring. However, this did not stop Rei from trying to once again drag herself to the ropes and finally, she was able to get an arm over the bottom rope, causing the crowd to cheer as the referee told Zoey to pull herself off of her.

"Rei finally able to get to the ropes, getting a brief break from Zoey's attack on the arm!" Okabe exclaimed as Zoey noticed that Rei was leaning against the bottom and middle ropes, which she responded to by running the ropes and hitting Rei with a running knee lift to the face before going for another pin.

"Just when Rei thought she had gotten this match back in her favor, Zoey cuts her short with a hard knee to the face!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey Irish whips Rei into the ropes and hits her with multiple arm drags, but when Zoey attempted to lock Rei in another armbar, Rei was able to get back on her feet and hit Zoey with an Eat Defeat. The crowd cheered as Zoey staggered to the ropes, allowing Rei to use her good arm to clothesline her out of the ring, causing the crowd to cheer even louder, as Rei went onto the apron and waited for Zoey to get up. When Zoey did get back on her feet, Rei ran off of the apron and hit Zoey with a Hurricanrana that sent her face-first into the steel steps.

"And Rei with a Hurricanrana that drove Zoey into the steel steps!" Beth exclaimed as Rei picked Zoey up and started punching her in the face with multiple quick jabs before throwing her back into the ring. The crowd cheered as Rei jumped onto the apron and hit Zoey with a Tope Con Hilo before putting her in a seated position and running the ropes to hit a running dropkick to the face. Rei ran to the corner and started slapping her right arm as hard as she could to get the blood flowing back into it, causing the crowd to cheer even louder when Zoey started getting back to her feet.

"Rei may have finally gotten momentum back on her side despite the damage done to her right arm!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei hit two clotheslines, a jumping clothesline, a swinging neckbreaker, ran the ropes to hit a Hurricanrana DDT onto Zoey before running the ropes and springboarding off of the 2nd rope to hit a moonsault causing the crowd to explode before she went for another pin.

Ref: 1…2..

"Rei almost put Zoey away with that beautiful springboard moonsault!" Okabe exclaimed as Zoey attempted to roll back onto the apron, but Rei was able to pull her back to the center of the ring by her legs and stomped on her gut multiple times before putting her in the Angelic Stretch (Lasso from El Paso), causing the crowd to cheer as Zoey yelled out in pain.

"Zoey is trapped in the Angelic Stretch (Lasso from El Paso)! She's going to have to tap out!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey tried to drag herself to the ropes, but Rei was able to drag her back to the center of the ring again. Rei then drug her knee into Zoey's back, but Zoey started pounding on Rei's damaged right arm, causing the crowd to cheer as Rei started to loosen her grip on the submission hold. Thanks to this, Zoey was able to use her leg strength to push Rei off of her, causing the crowd to cheer, before running the ropes and springboarding off of the 2nd rope with a twisting crossbody, hitting Rei, before going for another pin.

Rei kicked out and Zoey put Rei on her knees, and started kicking her in the chest and right arm, causing the crowd to count along with how many kicks that she hit Rei with. The crowd counted up to 20 kicks before Zoey ran the ropes and hit Rei with a shining wizard before laying her down in the center of the ring. The crowd continued to cheer as Zoey started climbing up to the top rope and started clapping the top of the turnbuckle before diving off of the top rope, hitting Rei with a diving headbutt.

"Oh my God! A diving headbutt to the right side of the neck and the right shoulder of Rei!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey crawled on top of Rei for a pin.

Ref: 1…2..

"And with what we know about how dangerous the diving headbutt is, Zoey can't be 100% after that move!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei rolled her shoulder off of the mat, causing Zoey to look up at the referee in the shock while running her hand through her hair. Zoey walked up to the ropes and kicked the bottom rope multiple times in frustration, while Rei started getting up on all fours. The crowd has started cheering for both women again as Zoey went into the corner and waited for Rei to fully get up, preparing to hit the Cat Attack (Eddie Edwards' Boston Knee Party). However, when Zoey ran at a now standing Rei to hit the move, Rei was able to counter with a sit-out spinebuster, causing the crowd to cheer as Rei went for another pin.

Ref: 1…2..

"Rei was able to counter the Cat Attack (Boston Knee Party) with that vicious spinebuster!" Beth exclaimed as Rei picked up Zoey and hit a Three Amigas onto her before picking her up for a 4th time and hitting her with a sit-out Brainbuster. Rei moved Zoey closer to the corner and started climbing that same corner, and once she balanced herself on the top rope, the crowd cheered as Rei dived off of the top rope with the Light from Above (Frog Splash). However, much to the shock of everyone in the arena, Zoey lifted her knees up, causing Rei to dive right onto Zoey's knees, allowing Zoey to roll Rei up in a small package.

Ref: 1…2..

"That counter was almost able to help Zoey defeat Rei and win the championship!" Okabe exclaimed as Zoey immediately picked Rei up and hit her with a Salina Del Sol before going for another pin.

Ref: 1…2..

Rei barely kicked out again, causing Zoey to start pounding the mat in frustration before picking Rei up once again and locked her in the Cat Nap (Crossface Chickenwing), putting Rei's damaged right arm behind her, causing the crowd to cheer as Rei tried to get out of the hold.

"Zoey has the Crossface Chickenwing locked in, made famous by former WWF Champion, Bob Backlund!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei tried to reach the ropes, but Zoey quickly rolled her and Rei back to the center of the ring. Rei started to pass out, and the referee picked up Rei's free arm, but when he picked up Rei's free arm, Rei kept it back in the air and used it to elbow Zoey in the side of her hear repeatedly.

"Rei's using her elbows to attempt and break out of this hold!" Beth exclaimed as Zoey finally let go of the hold, holding her head in pain. Rei was able to get up and turn Zoey around, but Zoey was able to counter with a Pele Kick, and run the ropes and attempted to hit her with the Cat Attack (Boston Knee Party), but Rei was able to dodge and grab Zoey from behind before she hit Zoey with the Redemption (Cross Rhodes) before going for the pin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, and still the BTWF World Women's Champion, Rei Ayanami!" Tim Barr exclaimed causing the crowd to explode as Rei jumped up and rolled out of the ring to get her championship from the timekeeper.

"Zoey tried her best, but in the end, Rei was able to secure the victory with a well-timed Redemption (Cross Rhodes)!" Beth exclaimed as Rei rolled out of the ring with her championship in her hands with Zoey still on the ground, staring up to the lights with tears of frustration threatening to pour out of her head.

"I think Rei, while she respected Zoey before, has a newfound respect for Zoey after having competed against her," Cornette explained as Rei held her hand out, offering to help Zoey to her feet. Zoey took her hand and once Rei lifted her back to her feet, thanked her and shook her hand before the camera panned to the podium on the stage where Scott Stanford was standing behind.

"That was a hell of a match right there, but unfortunately, Zoey Hanson must be punished due to her loss. But the question is, what did you fans vote for in regards to her punishment? Did you vote for her to not challenge for the BTWF World Women's Championship for 6 months, to admit that Rei Ayanami is the best women's wrestler in the world, or for Zoey to do a strip in the middle of the ring?" Stanford asked before the camera panned to the TitanTron, where the phrase 'Cannot Challenge for the Women's Title for 6 Months' causing the crowd to look into the ring in shock as Zoey ran her hand through her hair in frustration.

"Well, it looks like Zoey won't be able to challenge for the Women's Championship for 6 months! And for someone as driven and determined as her, those 6 months might as well be an eternity!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei put a comforting hand on Zoey's shoulder. Zoey looked over at Rei with a frustrated look on her face and nodded at her. Before she could leave the ring, the crowd booed as Akira ran into the ring and turned Zoey inside out with a clothesline.

"Oh, what the hell is she doing here!?" Cornette exclaimed as Rei attempted to attack Akira with multiple punches, but Akira was able to pick Rei up over her shoulders and hit her with the Spotlighter (F-5) before picking Zoey up by the hair and hitting her with another Spotlighter (F-5) that sent her crashing into Rei's ribs. The crowd booed as Akira took the BTWF World Women's Championship from the ground and held it up over her head, causing the crowd to boo louder as Akira put her foot on Rei's head.

"Akira just made a huge statement, and that statement says that she's coming for the BTWF World Women's Championship!" Beth exclaimed as Akira threw the Women's Championship onto Rei's body before leaving the ring with the crowd's boos accompanying her back to the stage. The camera then panned backstage, where Todd Grisham was in the interview area with Naruto Uzumaki and Sheldon Lee.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with the BTWF World Tag Team Champions representing the NWO, Sheldon Lee, and Naruto Uzumaki. Not only did you two defend your titles against Valentino Calavara and a mystery partner who turned out to be Death the Kid, but you also found out that your #1 contenders for the title next month will be Eddy and Gene Belcher of 2Cool," Todd explained before Sheldon decided to respond.

"That's right Todd! We overcame the odds once again and showed why me and Sheldon are the best tag team in all of the Fanfiction Wrestling Multiverse!" Sheldon exclaimed as Naruto patted him on the shoulder in agreement before he started talking.

"As for 2Lame, Gene and Eddy don't stand a chance against us. Don't get me wrong, Eddy and Gene are pretty good, but they're not me and Sheldon. We beat them at Hardcore Heaven to capture these titles, and if they think they're going to get these titles, well they must be even dumber than we gave them credit for," Naruto responded before he and Sheldon left the interview area as the camera panned back to the stage as 'Not Gonna Die' by Skillet played, causing the crowd to get off their feet and cheer as Shinji Ikari came running out of the back with the BTWF United States Championship around his waist.

"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the BTWF United States Championship! Making his way to the ring, from Tokyo Japan, he is the BTWF United States Champion, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced as Shinji continued running to the ring while hi-fiving all the fans he could before he rolled into the ring with the crowd chanting 'Shinji' his whole way to the ring.

"Shinji Ikari calls himself 'Undisputed' because he believes that he is the undisputed best wrestler on the entire roster, due to the number of instant classics that he delivers in the ring!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji rolled into the ring and ran up the top turnbuckle, took the championship off of his waist, and held it over his head with one hand, causing the crowd to continue their loud cheers.

"We'll see if he can maintain his 'Undisputed' moniker after this match!" Okabe responded as Shinji jumped off of the top rope and the camera panned to Scott Stanford behind the podium.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Shinji Ikari will be defending his United States Championship against one of three possible opponents. Will Soul Eater Evans continue the momentum he gained after his classic Best of 5 series with Shoto Todoroki? Will the brawn of Owen and the brain of Mr. Enter give Shinji the challenge of his title reign? Or will Shinji fight the revitalized Mordecai?" Scott asked as pictures of Soul, Owen, and Mordecai started appearing and disappearing before Soul's picture was selected, causing the crowd to cheer as Johnny Gargano's 'Rebel Heart' theme song plays as Soul rushed out, putting his hand over eyes to get a better view of the cheering fans.

"And his opponent, from Death City Nevada, Soul Eater Evans!" Tim Barr announced as Soul ran to the ring while hi-fiving fans on his way with Shinji nodding as he patted his championship.

"Soul has been selected, and with his classic matches with Todoroki, this one has all the ingredients of an all-time classic!" Cornette exclaimed as Soul climbed up to the top turnbuckle, and spread his arms out with his fingers pointing at the crowd before putting his right hand over his eyes causing the crowd to cheer before he jumped into the middle of the ring and pat Shinji's championship before going into his corner.

"Shinji looks excited at the prospect of wrestling Soul, and I don't blame him given his love of a challenge!" Beth exclaimed as the referee rang the bell. Soul and Shinji went into the middle of the ring and shook each other's hands before locking up in the middle of the ring with the crowd chanting for both wrestlers. Mid lockup, Soul was able to grab Shinji and roll him up in a small package.

Shinji was able to move and put Soul in the pinning situation while still in the small package.

Ref: 1…2

Soul kicked out and attempted to roll Shinji up with a Victory Roll.

Ref: 1…2.

Shinji kicked out and locked him in a Fujiwara armbar while the crowd continued to cheer for both men as Soul attempted to fight out of the hold. As Shinji continued to wrench the hold, Soul was able to move his waist around and rolled Shinji up in a Crucifix Pin.

Ref: 1…2

"These two have been exchanging pins and counters with each other! That shows how much the United States Championship means for both men!" Okabe exclaimed as Soul put Shinji in a headlock, who responded by pushing Soul into the ropes and attempted to Irish whip him. However, Soul kept the headlock locked in, and took him down to the mat, with the crowd continuing to cheer for both men. After a moment, Shinji was able to escape the headlock and put Soul in a headscissors, with the crowd continuing to cheer as Soul attempted to escape. Soul pulled Shinji's legs off of his throat and put him in another headlock. However, Shinji immediately slipped out of the headlock and put Soul in an armlock while bending Soul in a 90-degree angle.

"Shinji putting Soul in an armlock, which could prevent Soul from hitting the Soul Eater (Gourdbuster GTS)!" Cornette exclaimed as Soul was able to stand up straight again and throw Shinji off of him with an arm drag. The crowd cheered as Shinji ran at Soul again, but Soul countered with another arm drag before rolling him up with an Oklahoma Roll.

Ref: 1…2

Shinji kicked out and Irish whipped Soul into the corner, but when he attempted a running strike in the corner, Soul countered by lifting both of his legs up. Shinji was able to catch his legs, but Soul was able to counter with a hurricanrana. However, Shinji was able to roll his way out of it and attempted to hit a dropkick onto Soul, but Soul dodged and when Shinji got back to his feet, hit him with a knife-edge chop to the chest, causing the crowd to cheer as Soul continued to hit Shinji with multiple knife-edge chops that sent Shinji staggering into the corner.

"And Soul strikes first in this match with those brutal knife-edge chops!" Beth exclaimed as Soul ran the ropes and hit Shinji with a clothesline that sent him out of the ring. Soul then went to the other side of the ring and leaned on the ropes before seeing that Shinji was getting back to his feet. Soul then got out of the ropes and ran through them to hit Shinji with a suicide senton, causing the crowd to cheer as Soul picks Shinji up and hit him with multiple European Uppercuts before attempting to Irish whip him into the steel steps. However, Shinji was able to jump to the top of the steel steps and hit a diving moonsault off of the steps and onto Soul, causing the crowd to cheer as the referee started counting.

Ref: 1…2…3

"Shinji came out of nowhere with that Moonsault off of the steel steps!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji picked Soul up and started hitting him with forearms to the face before hitting a scoop slam onto Soul before running to one side of the ringside area. Shinji attempted to hit a running shooting star press onto Soul, but Soul got his knees up and this time, he was able to throw Shinji into the steel steps, with the crowd continuing the cheer.

Ref: 4…5…

"And Shinji sent headfirst into the steel steps! That had to have hurt!" Cornette exclaimed as Soul threw Shinji back into the ring and springboard back into the ring with an elbow onto Shinji before running the ropes and hit him with multiple leg drops onto Shinji's neck before picking him up and throwing him into the corner. Soul smirked at the cheering crowd before he started stomping on Shinji, and didn't stop until Shinji fell down to the bottom turnbuckle. The crowd cheered as Soul ran the ropes and hit Shinji with a running face wash, but ran the ropes again to hit him with another running face wash before dragging him to the center of the ring and going for the pin.

Ref: 1…2

"Soul knows that he has to do anything he can to get the United States Championship from a wrestler the caliber of Shinji Ikari," Okabe explained as Shinji attempted to roll out onto the apron but Soul was able to counter this by hitting Shinji with a double foot stomp to the back before dragging him back to the center of the ring. Soul picked Shinji up again and started hitting him with multiple punches to the head before running the ropes and springboarding off of the 2nd rope to hit a twisting crossbody onto Shinji before going for the pin.

Ref: 1…2.

"That was a beautiful crossbody by Soul, almost putting Shinji away!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji rolled Soul into a pin, causing the crowd to cheer even louder than they already were.

Ref: 1…2.

"Shinji almost snuck away with the pin!" Okabe exclaimed as Soul got up, but Shinji started running the ropes. However, Soul countered by feigning a kick to the gut, and when Shinji was about to stop himself, Soul turned to his back and hit Shinji in the head with an elbow to the head. This sent Shinji down to the ground allowing Soul to put Shinji in a sitting position and ran the ropes to hit a knee to the center of Shinji's back before running again and rebounding off of the ropes to hit a dropkick to Shinji's face before going for another pin.

Ref: 1…2.

"Soul continuing to dominate this United States Championship matchup! I know Shinji has a lot of respect for Soul, but I don't think he expected this level of domination!" Cornette exclaimed as Soul grabbed Shinji and turned him on his stomach before putting him in a Camel Clutch, causing the crowd to split down the middle with half of the crowd chanted for Shinji to escape and half chanted for Soul to make Shinji tap out. After almost a minute in the hold, Shinji was able to slip his way from underneath Soul's legs and hit him with a dropkick to the back, causing the crowd to cheer as Soul staggered to the ropes. Shinji then ran the ropes and hit a running dropkick onto Soul's chest, but when Shinji ran the ropes and attempted to clothesline him out of the ring like Soul had done to him earlier, but Soul countered by hitting Shinji with a Stun Gun. This sent Shinji falling throat first onto the top rope, allowing Soul to roll Shinji up into another pin with a backslide.

Ref: 1…2..

"Shinji was so close to getting back into this match, but Soul was able to use the ring ropes to keep the match in his favor!" Okabe exclaimed as Soul picked Shinji up and put him in an Abdominal Stretch, causing the dueling chants to start up once again as Shinji tried to escape the hold. Shinji attempted to hit an arm drag onto Soul to get him off, but Soul was able to stay on his feet and continue to stretch the hold. Soul then started clubbing Shinji's chest while continuing to stretch Shinji while he tried to pull himself to the ropes, causing the crowd to cheer as Soul attempted to pull him back to the center of the ring.

"Shinji is so close to the ropes!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji started clubbing Soul's legs, allowing him to escape the loosened grip and punch Soul in the face multiple times. However, Shinji wasn't able to run the ropes as Soul was able to grab him by the hair and hit him with a DDT, causing the crowd to cheer again.

"It's pretty amazing how Soul has been able to keep Shinji down every time he tries to gain momentum in this match!" Okabe complimented as Soul ran the ropes and hit Shinji with a knee drop before throwing Shinji into the corner and running after him with a knee to the face before picking him up and putting him on the top turnbuckle.

"It looks like Soul has something devastating planned for Shinji!" Beth exclaimed as Soul followed him up and went to the top turnbuckle as well before attempting to hit a hurricanrana from the top rope onto Shinji. However, Shinji was able to keep himself on the top rope, sending Soul falling off of the top rope, causing him to land into the middle of the ring on his back causing the crowd to cheer as Shinji attempted to balance himself on the top rope. Shinji tried to turn himself around, but Soul surprisingly got back to his feet and hit Shinji with a couple of punches to the chest. Soul attempted to get back onto the top rope, but Shinji punched and elbowed him off of the top rope, sending him back on the canvas back first. The crowd cheered loudly as Shinji turned around and hit the Genesis Moonsault (Best Moonsault Ever (BME)) onto Soul.

"Wow! What a moonsault by Shinji! This could be what he needed to get back into this championship bout!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji pinned Soul, hooking Soul's legs with his legs.

Ref: 1…2..

"Soul may have kicked out of that amazing moonsault, but Shinji was finally able to get some momentum in this match!" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji was able to get back to his feet, holding his ribs in pain, waiting for Soul to get back onto his feet. Shinji started stomping on the ground, in which the crowd responded to by clapping in sync as Soul used the top rope to get himself back to his feet. Shinji immediately responded by running at Soul and hitting him with multiple clotheslines and multiple double ax handles before kneeing him in the gut and running the ropes before hitting a leg drop bulldog onto Soul.

"Shinji getting back into the groove of this match, and Soul is probably in shock at Shinji's come back here!" Beth exclaimed as Soul got back to his feet and Shinji immediately responded by running the ropes and hitting Soul with a Sling Blade before picking him up and putting him in a Powerbomb position. The crowd cheered as Shinji ran into another corner to hit Soul with a turnbuckle Powerbomb before hitting him with a Fly to the Moon (Superkick) that sent Soul out of the ring. Shinji then ran the ropes and hit Soul with a suicide dive that sent the two of them crashing into the fan barricade with the crowd chanting for both men as Shinji started raining punches down on Soul.

"That suicide dive nearly sent Soul through the barricade, but Shinji thought that it wasn't enough!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji picked Soul up and dropped him on the steel ring apron before hitting him with a suplex. Shinji then ran to one side of the ringside area and ran back near Soul, hitting him with a Running Shooting Star Press, causing the crowd to cheer before he threw Soul back into the ring and jumped onto the apron. Shinji then springboarded back into the ring with a Frog Splash onto Soul before picking Soul up, going to another apron, and hitting him with a Springboard Knee Strike before going for another pin.

Ref: 1…2..

"Shinji has completely taken all of Soul's momentum and has started dominating this match!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji wanted for Soul to get up, and once he did, he kicked Soul in the gut and attempted a Pedigree, but Soul was able to backdrop Shinji off of him. Shinji, however, was able to land on his feet, and when Soul turned around, Shinji attempted to hit him with a standing Enziguri, but Soul was able to duck, sending Shinji crashing face-first into the mat. Soul then ran the ropes and attempted to hit Shinji with a Running Senton, but Shinji was able to dodge before he ran the ropes, attempting the Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp). However, Soul was able to pick Shinji up and hit him with a Sit-Out Powerbomb, causing the crowd to cheer and chant 'This is Awesome!' before going for another pin.

Ref: 1…2..

"Soul won this exchange of counters, and nearly put Shinji away with a devastating Sit-Out Powerbomb! He's got the makings of a future BTWF Champion!" Cornette exclaimed as Soul pounded the mat in frustration before mounting Shinji and started punching him in the face and the side of his head that hit the steel steps earlier in the match. By the time the referee had pulled Soul off of Shinji, a small cut started to open on the right side of Shinji's head.

"Soul is starting to get frustrated here at his apparent inability to put Shinji away!" Okabe exclaimed as Soul immediately ran at Shinji and started stomping on his chest and arms before running the ropes and hitting Shinji with a dropkick to the bloody right side of his head before going for another pin.

Ref: 1…2..

"Soul needs to be careful here. His frustration could prevent him from focusing at the task at hand, which is defeating Shinji for the United States Championship," Beth noted as Soul put Shinji in the corner, ran the ropes, and hit him with multiple Running Discus Elbows into the corner before attempting a Running Discus Clothesline into the corner. However, Shinji was able to get out of the corner and counter Soul with another Fly to the Moon (Superkick) causing Soul to fall back down to the ground before Shinji himself fell onto Soul for a pin.

Ref: 1…2..

"It's amazing how these two athletes can still fight after going 100 miles a minute for almost this entire contest!" Cornette exclaimed as Soul put his right leg over the bottom rope, activating a ropebreak which forced the referee to break the pin. Shinji looked on in shock before he picked Soul up and hit him with a Pedigree, causing the crowd to cheer before going for the pin.

Ref: 1…2..

"How Soul still has this impressive ring awareness after getting kicked in the head multiple times is pretty fascinating," Okabe agreed as Soul barely rolled his shoulder out, causing Shinji to run his hand through his hair in frustration before he attempted to pick Soul up for another move. However, Soul was able to counter Shinji with a headbutt to the gut and a kick to the knee before he started punching him in the head, with the crowd continuing to cheer and chant for both men before Soul ran the ropes and attempted a Shining Wizard. However, Shinji was able to duck, but Soul was able to run the ropes and hit Shinji with a Shining Wizard to the back of the head before going for another pin.

Ref: 1…2..

Soul looked at the referee in shock before picking Shinji up by the hair and gave him an elbow to the face. Shinji staggered before hitting Soul with an elbow of his own, with the crowd cheering both men on as the two started exchanging elbows to the face until it became a fistfight in the middle of the ring which Shinji eventually won with multiple open hand strikes to the face. Soul pushed Shinji away and attempted to pick him up for a Soul Eater (Gourdbuster GTS), but Shinji was able to escape the hold before hitting Soul with a standing enziguri to the face and going for another pin.

Ref: 1…2..

"How are these men able to kick out of all these attacks!?" Beth asked in shock as Shinji picked Soul up and took him to the corner before placing him on the top turnbuckle. Shinji went onto the 2nd turnbuckle and started punching Soul in the face. However, Soul was able to block one of these punches and hit multiple headbutts to Shinji's face, causing him to stagger off of the middle turnbuckle, causing the crowd to cheer as Shinji's nose started bleeding along with the side of his head.

"Soul was able to escape Shinji's grasp! What does he have planned!?" Cornette exclaimed as Soul was able to balance himself off of the top rope and turned around for a moonsault. However, the crowd cheered even louder again as Shinji was able to jump up to the top turnbuckle and hit Soul with a Reverse Superplex, causing the crowd to explode before picking Soul back up and hitting Soul with a Falcon Arrow. The crowd cheered as Shinji went into the corner and started stomping the ring, getting the fans to clap along with him before Soul started getting on all fours.

"We all know what's coming next!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji ran at Soul and hit him with the Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp) before going for the pin.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, and still the BTWF United States Champion, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd exploded into cheers as Shinji fell down in a seated position as the referee went to get the United States Championship belt.

"Shinji, after an intense contest, was able to retain his United States Championship and keep his reign intact!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji pulled himself up using the top rope and grabbed the United States Championship from the referee before raising it over his head, causing the crowd to cheer even more.

"There were a couple of points where I thought Soul had this match won, but Shinji lives to prove people wrong!" Okabe exclaimed as Soul sat up and looked at Shinji posing with the title. Shinji offered a hand to Soul, who accepted it, allowing Shinji to pull him back to his feet. The two then shook hands before Soul left the ring, allowing Shinji to continue celebrating.

"Some good sportsmanship there, that is tragically becoming a lost art in this business!" Beth exclaimed as the TitanTron turned on, revealing Mercury Black, causing the crowd to boo.

"Shinji! Shinji! Hey there!" Mercury yelled, causing Shinji to turn around and look at Mercury with a raised eyebrow as he put the United States Championship belt around his waist.

"Now that I FINALLY have your attention, you have something I want. You got lucky at Bash at the Beach, and I've been trying for the past MONTH to get you to take notice of my challenge for a rematch, but you've ignored me and ducked me like a coward!" Mercury yelled causing Shinji to shake his head in annoyance before Mercury pulled the camera further back from his face, revealing that he was in the trainer's room.

"I was in the trainer's room to get some athletic tape, but I saw your…lovely wife here. And…I decided to introduce myself," Mercury explained before he took the camera and showed a downed Rei Ayanami, holding her head and leg in pain while the medical personnel was trying to help her. Shinji looked at Mercury's face with fury in his eyes, which Mercury responded to with a glare.

"Do I have your attention now?" Mercury asked. Now waiting for an answer, Mercury turned the camera off, causing the crowd to boo as Shinji ran to the back with bloodlust in his eyes.

"How could Mercury do something so disgusting!?" Beth asked with restrained anger in her voice as Shinji ran off the stage and into the backstage area.

"Well Mercury did get Shinji's attention, but I think Mercury may come to regret it," Cornette said before the camera panned to a wide shot of the cheering crowd.

End of Part 3…Final Part coming soon.
