BTWF Christmas Chaos (Day 1 Part 2)
The camera panned back to the stage, where 'One Finger and a Fist' by Drowning Pool played, causing the crowd to boo as an overconfident Mr. Enter came strutting out with Owen, who had a fist in his hand, before walking with Enter.
"The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the BTWF United States Championship! Introducing the challenger, representing Enter Enterprises and accompanied to the ring by Mr. Enter, from Toronto Ontario Canada, Owen!" Tim Barr announced as Owen flexed for the camera as Enter told the fans at home that so far, he's 2-0 in matches tonight at Christmas Chaos, and Owen's going to make it 3-0 as they continued to make their way to the ring.
"Owen is literally and figuratively the biggest challenge Shinji has had for his United States Championship!" Beth exclaimed as Owen swiped a couple of fans' hands away before walking up the steel steps. Enter cheered Owen on as he walked over the top rope and into the ring where Owen glared at Tim Barr before going into the corner. The crowd continued to boo as Owen climbed up to the 2nd rope, and flexed once again while Enter continued to applaud Owen as he climbed back down.
"Remember, Owen won this opportunity by pinning Shinji in a Gauntlet match in November, so Owen has to be confident knowing that he's pinned the champion once before," Okabe explained as Owen went into another corner, where he and Enter started talking about strategy. While Enter and Owen were talking, 'Not Gonna Die' by Skillet played, causing the crowd to explode as pyro shot out of the stage and Shinji ran out of the back with the BTWF United States Championship around his waist.
"And his opponent, from Tokyo Japan, he is the BTWF United States Champion, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced as Shinji shot both of his fists in the air before hitting a strong punch to the air before walking down the entranceway. Shinji hi-fived several fans in the front row before smirking at Owen and Enter in the ring, who were still going over strategy while waiting for Shinji to get into the ring.
"That is true, but you have to remember that Shinji was already beaten down by Joe Wolf and Charlie Bonifer before Owen got into the ring," Beth countered as Shinji took the BTWF United States Championship off of his waist when he got to the ringside area, slid it into the ring, and jumped onto the apron as Enter attempted to grab the BTWF United States Championship. Shinji, however, jumped over the top rope and in front of Enter, causing Enter to jump up and roll out of the ring while leaving the BTWF United States Championship in the middle of the ring.
"Shinji has shown no fear when it comes to Owen, and that is shown clearly right now as he's just looking at Owen while getting his BTWF United States Championship," Cornette explained as Shinji gave the BTWF United States Championship to the referee before telling Enter to stay out of the way as Owen started walking up to him. The referee told Owen to get away from Shinji before making sure both men were ready for the match before telling the timekeeper to ring the bell. When the timekeeper did, Shinji immediately went to grab the wrist and attempted to lock Owen in a Wristlock, but the crowd booed as Owen lifted Shinji in the air by his one arm and attempted to throw him off. However, Shinji continued to maintain his old at Owen's arm, and the crowd cheered as Shinji started wringing his wrist again.
"Shinji trying to maintain wrist control, showing Mr. Enter and the fans that he is capable of technically wrestling the big man," Okabe explained as the crowd booed as Owen pie-faced Shinji, and threw him into the corner. Owen attempted to hit Shinji with a punch, but Shinji grabbed Owen's wrist, and turned it into an Armlock from behind, causing the crowd to cheer as Owen attempted to elbow Shinji in the side of the head, which Shinji dodged while continuing to keep Owen's arm locked.
"Shinji continuing to show that he can maintain control of his opponent's limbs, but you have to wonder how long this can last," Cornette explained as Shinji started kneeing Owen's arm, but this allowed Owen to finally hit Shinji in the side of the head with an elbow that was powerful enough to send him staggering into the ropes. The crowd continued to boo as Owen attempted to hit Shinji with a Clothesline, but Shinji was able to grab Owen's arm and lock him in an armbar over the ropes. Shinji broke the hold after the referee started counting to 5, and Shinji responded by punching Owen in the side of the head.
"Shinji giving Owen some strikes to the side of the head, showing he's not afraid to fight the big man with his fists," Beth noted as Shinji climbed up to the top rope, and hit Owen with a Missile Dropkick that barely moved Owen. Shinji immediately responded by hitting a Shotgun Dropkick to the chest of Owen, sending him staggering, causing the crowd to cheer as Shinji started punching Owen in the side of the head. However, the crowd booed as Owen sent Shinji down to his knees with a single gut punch before Owen attempted to stomp on him, which Shinji rolled out of the way of.
"Shinji averts certain disaster by avoiding the full weight of Owen stomping down on him!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji started kicking Owen in the side of the calf and knee while he was on the ground. Owen backed away into the ropes, which allowed Shinji to get back to his feet, and continue his kicks to the legs of Owen. The crowd cheered as Owen started falling to a knee, holding his right knee in pain.
"Shinji targeting both legs of the big man here, which is smart if he doesn't want to be hit with that Running Earthquake Splash," Okabe explained as Shinji ran the ropes, and hit a Running Dropkick to the kneecap of Owen. The crowd continued to cheer as Shinji ran the ropes, attempting another Dropkick, but the crowd booed as Owen catapulted Shinji out of the ring and onto the floor. However, the crowd cheered as Shinji landed on his feet, and after shooting Mr. Enter a quick glare to remind him to keep out of this match, Shinji jumped onto the apron. The crowd cheered as when Owen turned around, Shinji hit Owen with a Hotshot over the ropes before kicking Owen away with a few quick kicks to the face.
"Shinji showing no fear and putting his speed advantage to good use against the giant!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji springboarded into the ring, and hit Owen in the side of the head with a Springboard Knee Strike. The crowd cheered as Shinji hit multiple Knife-Edge Chops to the chest of Owen while he was on one knee, still dazed from the knee to the side of the head. Shinji attempted to run the ropes again, but Owen grabbed Shinji by the back of his tights and attempted to hit him with a Back Suplex. However, Shinji was able to land on his feet behind Owen and hit him with a Dropkick that sent him falling into the ropes.
"Owen, with his head draped over the middle rope! What does Shinji have planned here!?" Beth asked as Shinji ran over to Owen, and clubbed him several times in the back before running the ropes, attempting to the Tiger Feint Kick. However, Owen was able to catch him mid-move, and much to the crowd's chagrin picked him up and hit him with a Fallaway Slam that sent Shinji crashing to the outside back first. The crowd booed as Owen raised both of his fists up in celebration while Enter continued to applaud him from the outside.
"What a Fallaway Slam by Owen, throwing Shinji completely out of the ring!" Cornette exclaimed as Owen rolled out of the ring through the middle rope, and started stomping on Shinji's prone body. The crowd continued to boo as Owen picked Shinji up again, and hit him with a Snake Eyes that sent his face bouncing off of the steel ring apron. Shinji used the apron to try and keep himself standing, but Owen responded by hitting Shinji with several knee strikes to the chest before hitting him with multiple punches to the face. Shinji finally fell to the floor after one straight right hand to the side of the head, causing the crowd to boo as the referee started counting them out.

"Owen showing Shinji some powerful strikes of his own! He just knocked Shinji on the floor with a punch right to the face!" Cornette exclaimed as Owen grabbed Shinji, picked him up, and pushed him into the steel ring post mid-section first multiple times. Owen then threw Shinji overhead with an Inverted Fallaway Slam, with Enter running over to Shinji, and insulting him as Owen once again raised both of his fists in celebration. Shinji tried to get back to his feet, but Owen saw this, and ran at him with a Savate Kick, sending Shinji inside out.

"Shinji going through an inhumane amount of punishment on the outside, especially when it comes to his midsection!" Beth exclaimed as Owen grabbed Shinji by the hair, and started slapping him in the face several times before hitting him with a Scoop Slam on the ring apron. The crowd continued to boo as Owen pushed Shinji back into the ring, and walked over to the steel steps to get back in the ring. Once he got back into the ring, Owen hit an Elbow Drop onto Shinji's chest before going for a pin, hooking both of his legs back.

"Shinji barely rolls his shoulder off of the mat, which takes less energy to do than a kick out. This shows that Shinji's trying to conserve as much energy as he can so that he can last longer in this match," Okabe explained as Owen picked Shinji up by the hair, and threw him into the corner. The crowd continued to boo as Owen yelled at the crowd before hitting multiple punches to Shinji's midsection, with a couple of these punches being hard enough for him to jump in the corner. Owen then started choking Shinji and wouldn't stop until the referee threatened to disqualify him.
"Owen trying not to give Shinji a single second to himself, preventing him from thinking of a strategy of how to handle the match," Beth explained as Owen distracted the referee, allowing Enter to choke Shinji with the tag rope on the apron before dropping back down to the floor as the referee started turning around again. Owen then ran into the corner and hit Shinji with a Running Body Avalanche hard enough to send Shinji falling down to the bottom turnbuckle. Owen then nodded at Enter before running the ropes again and hitting Shinji with a Running Hip Attack to the side of the head before dragging him to the center of the ring and going for the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2..
"Shinji once again rolling his shoulder off of the mat, but you can tell that he's dazed from that Running Hip Attack," Cornette explained as Owen grabbed Shinji, and hit him with multiple punches to the side of the gut before picking him in a Side Slam position. The crowd continued to boo as Owen hit several Backbreakers to Shinji before lifting him back up and hitting him with a Running Side Slam. Owen then clapped his hands together before getting back to his feet and hitting a couple of Elbow Drops to the chest of Shinji before Enter lifted three fingers in the air, indicating the 3-0 streak for Enter Enterprises.
"You have to imagine that the more Owen damages Shinji with these powerful moves, the more confident Enter becomes that his group is going to be draped in gold," Beth noted as Owen picked Shinji back up, and locked him in a Bearhug, causing the crowd to boo as Owen would push his knuckles into the small of Shinji's back. Shinji tried to pull himself out of Owen's grip, but Owen was able to maintain a bear-trap-like grip onto Shinji's back. Shinji started fading as his attempts to pull away from Owen continued to fail.
"Owen literally squeezing the oxygen out of Shinji's body, and you can see Shinji beginning to lose consciousness," Okabe explained as Shinji was able to free one of his arms from Owen's grip, and started hitting Owen in the face multiple times with Forearms to the face. Owen staggered but continued to keep Shinji in a Bearhug, to which Shinji responded by continuing the Forearm strikes. Owen did not start letting go of Shinji until Shinji started hitting headbutts to Owen's face and nose, loosening Owen's grip enough for Shinji to slide out of. Shinji started kicking Owen in the side of the leg, causing the crowd to cheer as Owen began to stagger once again. However, Owen was able to block one of Shinji's kicks, push his foot away, and hit Shinji with the Belly 2 Belly Suplex before going for the pinfall, much to the crowd's chagrin.
Ref: 1…2..
"Shinji was so close to taking control of this match back, but Owen is able to take him back down with the Belly 2 Belly Suplex!" Cornette exclaimed as Owen stepped over Shinji's ribs before going up to the middle rope. Owen flipped off the booing fans before jumping off the middle rope for a splash, but the crowd cheered as Shinji was able to roll out of the way, causing Owen to crash onto the canvas ribs first. Shinji started rolling to the corner of the ring, breathing heavily to try and get oxygen back into his lungs. Owen started getting back up to his knees, and Shinji responded by shooting up to his feet and clubbing Owen in the back and the back of the neck.
"And Shinji nailed Owen with some hard strikes to the back and the back of the neck to try and wear Owen down!" Beth exclaimed as Owen was able to push Shinji into a corner. However, when Owen attempted to hit a Running Shoulder Tackle in the corner, Shinji was able to dodge, sending Owen crashing into the steel ring post arm first. The crowd cheered as Shinji, after taking a few more deep breaths, ran the ropes, and hit Owen with a Tiger Feint Kick, sending Owen staggering out of the corner. Shinji then climbed the top rope, and hit Owen with a Diving Knee Strike right to the side of the head, sending Owen on all flours.
"Shinji has Owen down on all fours! This could be the opportunity that Shinji's been waiting for!" Okabe exclaimed as the crowd continued to cheer and chant Shinji's name as Shinji ran the ropes, and hit a Jumping Corkscrew Shooting Star Press onto Owen's back. The crowd exploded as Owen was finally down on the ground, and Shinji took advantage of this by taking another couple of deep breaths before springboarding off of the middle rope, and hitting Owen with a Lionsault across the chest before going for the pinfall.
Ref: 1…2..
"Owen kicking out, sending Shinji jumping a couple of inches away from him!" Beth exclaimed as Owen tried to get back to his feet, but while Shinji was on the ground, Shinji started kicking at Owen's knees again. The crowd continued to cheer as Shinji grabbed Owen by the hair, and continued to stomp on Owen's knee, sending Owen falling back down to the knees before Shinji ran the ropes, and sent Owen back down to the ground with a Running Knee Strike to the back of the head. Shinji then put Owen back on his knees and hit Owen in the side of the head with a Fly to the Moon (Superkick) before going for another pin.
Ref: 1…2..
"Owen once again kicking out, but with a lot less power than before despite that Superkick by Shinji nearly kicking his nose off!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji went into the corner, and waited for Owen to get back up to his feet, but while the referee was checking on Owen, Enter grabbed Shinji's legs and attempted to keep him from going after Owen. However, when Owen got up and attempted to hit another Running Body Avalanche, Shinji was able to dodge, causing Owen's head to hit the top turnbuckle.
"Enter's attempts at interference have backfired, sending Owen's head crashing into the turnbuckle!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji jumped onto the 2nd rope, put Owen in a Front Facelock, and attempted to hit him with a Tornado DDT. However, Owen was able to throw Shinji off of him mid-DDT, but when Owen attempted to run at Shinji, Shinji hit Owen with a Jumping Enziguri and attempted to hit him with a Pedigree. Owen was able to pick Shinji up and throw him away once again, but when Owen once again attempted to hit a Running Clothesline, Shinji was able to hit Owen with a Dropkick to the knee that sent Owen falling on his back.
"Shinji taking out the leg of Owen with that Dropkick to the knee, using Owen's own momentum against him to do it!" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji grabbed Owen's legs, and started stomping on the side of the knee and calf before attempting to lock him in the Figure-4-Leglock. However, the crowd booed as Owen pushed Shinji off of him with his legs with enough force that it sent Shinji out of the ring. Shinji was able to land on his feet in front of the announcer's table, and much to the crowd's delight ran into the ring by jumping through the middle ropes, and hit Owen with a Rolling Stunner in the middle of the ring, causing the crowd to explode as Owen fell down, allowing Shinji to hit another pinfall.
Ref: 1…2..
"I don't know what the hell that move was, but it looked good and sent Owen back down to the mat!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji jumped onto the middle rope, and attempted to hit the Genesis Moonsault (BME)(Best Moonsault Ever). However, Owen was able to lift his knees up, causing the crowd to boo as Shinji bounced off of the knees of Owen and went into the corner. The crowd booed as Enter yelled at Owen to get up and take advantage, and Owen responded by running into the corner, and hitting the Running Forearm to the side of Shinji's head.
"Owen once again almost knocking Shinji's head off with that Forearm! I think this may be the end of Shinji's run!" Okabe exclaimed as Owen hit Shinji with an Overhead Belly 2 Belly Suplex that sent him into the corner. The crowd booed as Owen walked into the corner, and started climbing up to the middle turnbuckle in an attempt to hit the Banzai Drop. However, the crowd cheered as Shinji was able to get back to his feet, and hit a Jumping Fly to the Moon (Superkick).
"And Shinji is still in this match, hitting Owen right in the back of the head with a Superkick, leaving him prone on the middle turnbuckle!" Okabe exclaimed as Shinji went underneath Owen, and much to the crowd's shock and amazement, Shinji was able to pull Owen away from the corner in a Powerbomb position. The crowd exploded into even louder cheers as Shinji quickly ran into another corner, and sent Owen crashing into the corner with a Corner Powerbomb.
"WHAT THE HELL!? How in the hell did Shinji do that!? He sent Owen crashing into the corner with a Corner Powerbomb, and somehow the corner is still intact!" Cornette exclaimed as Shinji grabbed Owen's arms, and hit him with the Pedigree. The crowd continued to explode as Shinji stretched his back a little bit before noticing an exasperated Enter coming onto the apron. Shinji immediately responded with a Fly to the Moon (Superkick) before he ran the ropes, and hit Owen with a Peace of Mind (Curb Stomp).
"A Curb Stomp! That has to be it, but…Shinji isn't going for the cover!" Beth exclaimed as Shinji went back on the middle rope, flipped off both Owen and Enter, and hit Owen with the Genesis Moonsault (BME)(Best Moonsault Ever) before going for the pin, hooking both of Owen's legs back.

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, and still the BTWF United States Champion, 'Undisputed' Shinji Ikari!" Tim Barr announced as Shinji fell to the floor, completely exhausted from the effort it took to keep Owen down. The ringside attendant gave the BTWF United States Championship to the referee, who in turn handed the title to a downed Shinji. Shinji grabbed the BTWF United States Championship from the referee and held it close to him as the crowd continued to cheer and chant his name.
"And against all odds, Shinji is able to retain his United States Championship, and show us some unbelievable strength!" Cornette exclaimed as Enter was still on the floor with a hand over his jaw. The crowd continued to cheer as Enter pounded the padded concrete in frustration as Owen rolled out of the ring, pressing a hand over his head as Shinji finally started getting back to his feet. The crowd exploded as Shinji raised the BTWF United States Championship over his head as he nodded in approval at the crowd.
"There were several times where I thought Owen had it, but Shinji, once again, proves me wrong in this match!" Beth exclaimed, trying to talk over the cheering crowd as Shinji climbed up to the top rope, and once again raised the BTWF United States Championship over his head. Enter went after Owen, and checked on him while glaring at a celebrating Shinji who was still on the top turnbuckle. Shinji jumped down to the ground, holding his ribs in pain before asking the referee to put the BTWF United States Championship around his waist.
"Shinji has made a career here in the BTWF revolving around proving people wrong, and that is undisputed," Okabe explained as the camera panned to the backstage area once Shinji rolled out of the ring with the BTWF United States Championship around his waist. In the backstage interview area, Pieck Finger was standing next to Maki and Mai Zenin.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with one of the BTWF's newest Women's Tag Team, Maki and Mai Zenin. Maki and Mai, you two have been targeting Mina Ashido and Guri since your debut. I understand you have some issues with how Mina and Guri present themselves, but I'm curious as to if there's more to it," Pieck explained as Maki snorted in amusement before moving the microphone closer to her mouth.
"Honestly, no. We don't have any dramatic and emotional back story with those two clowns. We just hate how they're representing the sport of professional wrestling," Maki explained as Mai nodded and moved the microphone closer to her mouth.
"The dancing, the hugging, the barf inducing colors in their entrance, they're pretty much wrestling clowns like my sister said. Pieck, do you know how long we've trained to become professional wrestlers?" Mai asked as Pieck stroked her chin with her thumb and pointer finger before answering.
"5 years?"
"Much more than that. Pretty much since we were able to walk, our family trained us to become wrestlers. Painful training that a normal child wouldn't have survived. We nearly had our bodies shattered by this training, and to see Mina and Guri come out here and dancing like a bunch of idiots makes our blood boil!" Maki exclaimed before Mai put a hand on her shoulder to calm her sister down.
"It's ridiculous to us that people take advantage of the training they go through to become professional wrestlers just to act like buffoons on TV. THAT is our problem with Mina and Guri," Mai explained. Before Pieck could respond to Mai and Maki, Mina and Guri came walking up to them with their arms folded.
"Really? That's your whole problem with us? You know what the two of you need to do? Mind your own business. How me and Guri choose to act is none of your business, and we're not going to get judged because we don't have gigantic poles up our asses like you two," Mina responded, causing Maki to step up to them, but Mai held her back, giving Guri and Mina a simple smirk.
"I may be a hugger, and Mina may be a dancer, but don't think we can kick butt in the ring. And if you two want to know how good we can be in the ring, who don't you step into the ring with us?" Guri asked. Mai looked at Maki and chuckled before nodding and walking up to Mina and Guri.
"A match does sound nice, but…we'll do it on our time. You see, like the professionals that we are, we like to scout our opponents, so we'll get back to you on this so we can schedule our match. Thank you for the offer though," Mai said before flicking her hair and leaving the backstage interview area with Maki glaring at Mina and Guri before following Mai out of the interview area. Mina and Guri looked on at the disappearing frames of Maki and Mai with annoyed glares on their faces before the camera panned back to the stage. The lights in the arena went out, causing the crowd to boo as 'Ladies and Gentlemen' by Saliva played. A spotlight appeared at the center of the stage before Akira appeared on the stage, outstretching her arms.
"The following contest is an 'I Quit' match! In this match, there are no pinfalls, submissions, disqualifications, or countouts. The only way to win this match is to make your opponent say 'I Quit'! Introducing first, from the Asahi Ward in Yokohama, Japan, she is the 'Spotlight of the BTWF Women's Division' Akira Hayami!" Tim Barr announced. As Akira stepped off of the stage, the sound of a Kendo Stick hitting flesh was heard as Akira fell out of range of the spotlight.
"We have an 'I Quit' match coming up next, but what the hell is going on here!?" Beth asked as the lights in the arena came back on, revealing Zoey Hanson beating a downed Akira with a Kendo Stick, causing the crowd to cheer. The referee told the timekeeper to ring the bell and start the match, but when Akira attempted to push Zoey away, Zoey hit Akira in the sides and the arms more with the Kendo Stick. The crowd continued to cheer as Akira started pushing the end of the Kendo Stick into Akira's chest, yelling at the ref to ask Akira whether or not she quit.
"Akira, do you want to quit!?"
"Grrr…grrrr…no!" Akira started kicking Zoey in the knee, causing the crowd to boo as Zoey dropped the Kendo Stick. Akira got back to her feet, grabbed the Kendo Stick, and started hitting Zoey in the back with the Kendo Stick. Akira got back up on the stage with Zoey, but Zoey started hitting several right-handed punches to the side of Akira's head, but Akira countered with a knee to the gut. However, when she attempted another Kendo Stick shot, Zoey was able to dodge it and kick Akira in the side of the head.
"Well, we're starting this match earlier than anticipated, with Zoey rushing Akira during her entrance!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey grabbed Akira by the hair, and threw her face first into the fan barricade. Zoey then started hitting Akira in the side of the face with multiple forearms to the side of the face before grabbing her arm and attempting to lock her in the Cat Nap (Crossface Chickenwing). However, Akira was able to ram Zoey face first into the top of the steel ring apron before fully locking in the submission. The crowd booed as Akira grabbed Zoey by the waist, and attempted to hit her with a German Suplex, but Zoey hit her with a Mule Kick to the groin to get out of it.
"A low blow right to the labia! There's something you don't see something every day!" Beth exclaimed as Zoey once again tried to lock in the Cat Nap (Crossface Chickenwing). Akira responded with multiple back elbows to the side of Zoey's head and attempted to throw her into the steel steps. Zoey, however, was able to land on top of the steel steps, and much to the crowd's delight hit Akira with a Diving Hurricanrana off of the steel steps that sent Akira into the fan barricade back first. Zoey then ran at Akira, and hit her with a Running Knee Strike to the chest before grabbing her leg, and locking her in a Boston Crab. The crowd cheered as Zoey told the referee to see if Akira wanted to quit.
"Akira, do you want to quit!?"
"Ahhh…shit…no!" Akira yelled before hitting Zoey in the back with multiple forearms before pushing Zoey off. The crowd booed as Akira put Zoey in a Front Facelock and started clubbing her in the back before sending her flying with an Overhead Belly 2 Belly Suplex. The crowd booed as Akira looked under the ring for some weapons, and eventually pulled out a table and a chair. Akira slid both things in the ring before grabbing Zoey, throwing her back into the ring, and following her in. When Akira got into the ring, Zoey tried to start kicking Akira in the leg several times, but Akira grabbed Zoey's leg and hit her with a Spinebuster.
"And that Spinebuster may have very well busted up Zoey's spine!" Cornette exclaimed with a wince as Akira outstretched her arms, causing the crowd to boo before Akira grabbed the steel chair on the ground. Akira then attempted to hit a grounded Zoey with the move, but Zoey was able to kick the chair away, causing the crowd to cheer as Zoey grabbed Akira, and sent her to the ground with an Achilles Lock. The crowd cheered as Zoey started punching Akira's leg while yelling at the referee to ask Akira whether or not she quit.
"Akira, do you want to quit!?"
"God Dammit! No!" Akira yelled before turning on her back and trying to kick Zoey off of her, but Zoey continued stretching her leg out in the Achilles Lock. Akira dragged her way to the outside while Zoey was still in the ring with the submission locked in, allowing Akira to look under the ring. The crowd booed as when Zoey brought Akira back into the ring completely, Akira had pulled out a trash can lid, and when she turned around, she hit Zoey right on the top of the head with the lid a couple of times.
"And Akira, using that trash can lid to break the hold on her! I don't think Zoey, even in her angered state, can keep a hold locked in after those blows to the head!" Okabe exclaimed as Zoey did indeed let go of the hold. Akira got back to her feet before picking Zoey up and throwing her chest first into the corner with enough force that Zoey almost bounced out of the corner. Akira then turned Zoey around and rammed her in the chest with multiple Shoulder Thrusts before leveling her with several forearms to the face.
"Akira now taking control with some hard strikes to the face, and I wouldn't be surprised if she opened Zoey up with the forces of these blows," Cornette explained as Akira grabbed Zoey, and threw her halfway across the ring. The crowd booed as Akira once again pointed up and told the crowd that the spotlight is on her like it should be. Akira then hit a kick to Zoey's gut when she tried to get up and dragged her to the center of the ring by the hair. Akira then grabbed the steel chair and hit her several times in the back much to the crowd's chagrin before turning Zoey on her back.
"Akira now going to town on Zoey with that steel chair!" Beth exclaimed as Akira rammed the top of the chair into Zoey's chest multiple times before she began choking Zoey with the top of the chair. The crowd continued to boo as Akira stopped choking Zoey, and hit her with more steel chair shots to the chest, but the crowd cheered as Zoey shockingly kicked the steel chair away. Akira glared at Zoey before grabbing her by the hair, but Zoey attempted to counter what Akira had planned with multiple punches to the face.
"I don't know how Zoey is still fighting out of this, but she may only be making Akira angry," Okabe noted as Akira sent Zoey into the corner with an Overhead Belly 2 Belly Suplex, sending her back crashing into the turnbuckles. The crowd continued to boo as Zoey tried to get back to her feet, but Akira immediately ran into the corner, hitting a Running Knee to the side of Zoey's head that sent the side of Zoey's head crashing into the bottom turnbuckle. Akira then grabbed Zoey by the right ear and started punching Zoey in the side of the head again, but Zoey started hitting Akira with a couple of forearms to the side of Akira's head.
"Zoey is still fighting back, hitting a couple of forearms to the side of the head. But these forearms don't have the mustard they did before," Cornette noted as Akira grabbed Zoey by the waist, and hit a Release German Suplex. The crowd booed as Akira kipped back up to her feet, and outstretched her arms once again before grabbing Zoey from behind and hitting her with another German Suplex. Akira rolled out of the ring before going underneath the ring to search for some more weapons and was able to find a trash can full of kendo sticks, trash can lids, and even a crutch. However, just as Akira started throwing the weapons into the ring, Zoey ran at Akira and hit her with a Baseball Slide to the face.
"Zoey has been trying to prove to the fans, and probably to herself, that she can beat Akira! That's why she's still trying to fight despite all the pain coursing through her body!" Okabe exclaimed as Zoey grabbed the steel chair, ran the ropes, and hit a Sliding Body Press from underneath the bottom rope, sending the chair crashing into Akira's chest. Zoey grabbed Akira by the hair, and slammed the side of her head into the fan barricade repeatedly, yelling at her to quit.
"Akira, do you want to quit!?"
"Ah! Ow! Ah! NO!" Akira yelled into the microphone before Zoey pushed her foot into the side of Akira's face, sending her face pressing up against the fan barricade. Zoey then yelled at the referee to ask Akira if she wanted to quit again as she continued pressing her face into the fan barricade.
"Akira, do you want to quit!?"
"Hell no!" Akira yelled into the microphone once again before pushing Zoey off of her. As she tried to crawl away. Zoey grabbed Akira by the hair and hit her with multiple Crossface shots to the face, but Akira was able to turn around, poke Zoey in the eye, and throw her into the steel steps. The crowd booed as Akira grabbed the back of Zoey's head, and slammed her head onto the top of the steel steps multiple times before walking up to the top of the steel steps while Zoey's head was still on the top of the steps. The crowd booed as Akira stomped on the side of Zoey's head, and the referee, despite this being a no disqualification match, tried to pull Akira away from Zoey as she continued stomping her head into the steps.
"Akira trying to injure Zoey here, possibly trying to take her out of wrestling with these stomped to the side of the head!" Beth exclaimed as Akira pushed the referee away before picking Zoey up, and throwing her on top of the Spanish announcers' table. The crowd booed as Akira started walking on the steel ring apron while Zoey is bleeding from the side of her head, and when Akira was parallel to Zoey, jumped off of the apron to hit her with a Shining Star Press (Shooting Star Press). The crowd booed as Zoey slid off of the table, seemingly unconscious as Akira looked surprised that the table did not break.
"What a move by Akira! Launching herself from the apron to the table with a Shooting Star Press!" Cornette exclaimed as Akira picked up Zoey, who was barely responding. Akira put Zoey in a Gorilla Press position, and much to the crowd's chagrin, threw her back into the ring over the top rope, sending Zoey falling onto the canvas face down. Akira then climbed up to the top turnbuckle and once again hit Zoey with the Shining Star Press (Shooting Star Press) to the back. Akira then, for the first time since this match started, told the referee to ask Zoey if she quit.
"Zoey, do you want to quit!?"
"Uhhh…ughhhh…no," Zoey barely coughed out as Akira mounted the back of Zoey, and started hitting Zoey in the face with Crossface shots before picking her up in a Waistlock. Akira told the crowd that she was going to send Zoey into an early retirement before attempting to hit her with a Release German Suplex. However, the crowd exploded into cheers as Zoey was able to land on her feet, just barely, and when Akira noticed, she attempted to hit Zoey with a Clothesline, but Zoey was able to dodge. Akira ran into the ropes, and Zoey used that momentum to hit a Dragon Suplex onto Akira before putting her on her knees. The crowd continued to cheer as Zoey hit Akira with multiple kicks to the chest, with the crowd cheering and chanting her name after each kick.
"Zoey, despite bleeding like a stuffed pig, is fighting back against Akira with some vicious kicks!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey hit Akira in the side of the head with a kick to the side of the head, sending her falling to the ground. The crowd continued to cheer as Zoey grabbed the trash can Akira brought in earlier and hit her in the back several times with the can, and when Akira rolled herself to her back, Zoey hit her with more trash can shots to the back. Zoey then threw the trash can down on the chest of Akira before going into the corner, causing the crowd to cheer as he started climbing up the top rope.
"Zoey attempting to do something on the top rope! With how much blood she's losing, I'm not sure if this is a good idea," Okabe noted as Akira pulled herself back to her feet, and ran into the corner to hit Zoey with a couple of forearms to the side of the face. Akira climbed to the 2nd rope, punched Zoey in the side of the head a couple of times, and then put her in the Fireman's Carry Position, setting her up for the Spotlighter (F-5). However, when Akira attempted to hit the middle rope Spotlighter (F-5), the crowd exploded into cheers as Zoey countered the Spotlighter (F-5) into a Spinning Facebuster.
"Oh good, Lord! What a counter by Zoey, sending the face of Akira crashing right into the mat!" Cornette exclaimed as Zoey got back to her feet, and much to the crowd's delight, went into the corner, waiting for Akira to get back to her feet. The crowd chanted Zoey's name as Akira started staggering to her feet, with her nose beginning to bleed, and Zoey responded to this by knocking Akira back down with the Cat Attack (Boston Knee Party). The crowd continued to cheer as Zoey grabbed a trash can lid, put it under Akira's face, grabbed a steel chair, and gave her a unique version of the Con-Chair-To. Zoey then hit Akira in the back multiple times with a steel chair before telling the referee to ask Akira whether or not she wanted to quit.
"Akira, do you want to quit!?"
"Ahhh…no. No!" Akira yelled as she started crawling to the ropes, with Zoey responding by running the ropes and hitting Akira with a Dropkick to the back of the head of Akira. The crowd then cheered as Zoey springboarded onto the apron, and then springboarded back into the ring with an attempted senton, but Akira grabbed Zoey in mid-air, and much to the crowd's chagrin, hit Zoey with a Powerbomb onto the trash can. The crowd continued to boo as Akira grabbed the table that had been put into the ring earlier and set it up in the middle of the ring before picking Zoey back up, and hitting another Powerbomb onto Zoey through the table.
"And Zoey gets hit with two Powerbombs! Being sent through a trash can and a table respectively!" Beth exclaimed as Akira grabbed the plastic table liner from the broken table, and started choking Zoey with the liner, yelling at the referee to ask Zoey whether or not she quit. However, before the referee could ask Zoey, Zoey grabbed a Kendo Stick that was in the ring and started hitting Akira in the face with the Kendo Stick. This loosened Akira's grip on Zoey, but she still kept the table liner in her hand, and Zoey started kicking Akira in the side of the knee, but Akira knocked Zoey down by whipping her with the plastic table liner right to the face.
"Ouch! Akira just whipped Zoey right in the face with that plastic table liner!" Okabe exclaimed with a wince as Akira continued to whip Zoey in the back and chest with the plastic table liner. Akira then yelled at the referee to ask Zoey whether or not she wanted to quit.
"Zoey, do you want to quit!?"
"Ah! Ow! Ah! NO!" The crowd continued to boo as Akira wrapped the plastic table liner around Zoey's neck, and attempted to throw her out of the ring to hang her. However, Zoey was able to land on the top rope, and jump off of the top rope with a Hurricanrana onto Akira. Zoey then took the plastic table liner away from Akira and started whipping her in the back with it, telling the referee to ask Akira whether or not she quit.
"Akira, do you want to quit!?"
"No! No!" Akira yelled before swatting Zoey's hands away and hitting her with a kick to the gut. The crowd continued to boo as Akira attempted to hit Zoey with a Back Suplex, but Zoey was able to counter with another Hurricanrana, which was powerful enough to send Akira out of the ring. Zoey took several deep breaths before running the ropes and attempting to hit a Suicide Dive onto Akira, but Akira was able to grab Zoey in a Spotlighter (F-5) position. The crowd booed as Akira sent Zoey's knee crashing into the steel ring post with the Spotlighter (F-5), with Zoey falling to the ground and screaming in pain.
"Akira, using the same move she used to injure Rei back at the Jumping Bomb Angels Tag Team Tournament!" Cornette exclaimed as Akira told the referee to ask Zoey if she quit.
"Zoey, do you want to quit!?" However, before Zoey could answer, Akira stepped on Zoey's injured leg and took the microphone from the referee.
"This is your last chance, Zoey. You either give up now or I'm going to cripple you right here, and right now!" Akira exclaimed as she kneeled down so that she could put the microphone closer to Zoey's mouth. Zoey slapped Akira in the side of the face, and spat in her face for extra measure, causing the crowd to cheer. Akira nodded with a furious look on her face before grabbing the steel chair from inside the ring and smashing the chair into Zoey's right knee repeatedly while yelling at Zoey to quit.
"Fuck you!" Zoey yelled before Akira dropped the chair, grabbed Zoey's leg, and locked her in the Akira Lock (Brock Lock). After almost a minute of trying to keep herself in this match, through gritted teeth and tears in her eyes, Zoey nodded.
"I…I quit! I quit!"
*Bell Rings*
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, she is 'the Spotlight of the BTWF Women's Division', Akira Hayami!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd booed. Akira dropped Zoey onto the mat before telling the referee to raise her hand up in victory, causing the crowd to boo louder as Akira smirked at the downed form of Zoey. The medical personnel at ringside came running over to Zoey, who was holding her right leg in pain.
"Akira gets the win in this three-match series, defeating Zoey 2-1 thanks to this victory in this I Quit match!" Beth exclaimed as Akira looked down at the medical personnel checking on Zoey. The crowd booed louder as Akira walked over to Zoey, making sure to step on her right knee before going over to Tim Barr, and telling him to give her the microphone that he used to announce her as the winner.
"Despite Zoey's best efforts, Akira sending her leg into the steel ring post with the Spotlighter was too much! And now, it looks like Akira has something to say," Cornette noted as Akira glared at the crowd while grabbing the microphone from Tim Barr, and walking back into the middle of the ring.
"Spotlight…please!" Akira exclaimed, causing the crowd to boo louder as the lights in the arena turned off, with the lone spotlight in the middle of the ring being the only source of light in the entire arena at the moment.
"Now, as you all saw there, I destroyed my former tag team partner to the point where she has to be helped back up to her feet. This is my message to whoever wins the First Blood match for the BTWF World Women's Championship; you're going to have me to deal with really soon," Akira explained. Zoey glared at Akira as a couple of medical personnel helped walk Zoey off to the back. Akira smirked at Zoey's defeated figure before looking back at the crowd and continuing her talk.
"Whether it's that nut case cult leader Sherry Blendy or the woman who I had beat several times and only beat be because of luck Rei Ayanami, I'm going to make sure they hand the BTWF World Women's Championship to me when I destroy them," Akira explained before dropping the microphone, and taking in the jeers of the crowd one last time before the lights in the arena came back on and she walked out of the ring.
"Akira making her intentions of getting back into the hunt for the BTWF World Women's Championship known. The question is who is she going to be facing for that championship when all is said and done?" Okabe asked as the camera panned to the backstage area where Hana Uzaki was standing with Azula, Ty Lee, and Mai.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with Princess Azula, Ty Lee, and Mai. First of all, I want to congratulate you on your victory over Alex and Haruko in the pre-show earlier tonight," Hana complimented before Azula rolled her eyes, grabbing the microphone and holding it closer to her mouth.
"Well, it was no surprise we were going to win, but thank you for that irrelevant little compliment," Azula responded before pushing the microphone back into Hana's chest. Hana rolled her eyes before mumbling some curses and going back to the interview.
"So after this major win, do we have an update on this singles match for Mai that was promised a couple of weeks ago?" Hana asked as Azula looked over at Mai, who nodded at Azula before she responded.
"I have spoken with Tanya von Degurechaff after our pre-show victory, as I have Mai vs. Haruko scheduled for the Octane after the Battle Riot. And when Mai wins, we're going to show all the fans and the rest of the Women's Tag Teams in the BTWF who the next Women's Tag Team Champions are going to be," Azula explained before she, Mai, and Ty Lee left the interview area. The camera then panned back to the ring, where the lights in the arena turned dark, causing the crowd to boo as 'Knives' by Bullet For My Valentine played and the lights turned a blood red. A row of fire appeared on the stage as Sherry Blendy crawled out of the ground, and went through the fire.
"The following contest is a First Blood match, where the only way to win this match is to make your opponent bleed, and it is for the BTWF World Women's Championship! Introducing the challenger first, from Galuna Island, she is the leader of the Sisterhood of Darkness, Sherry Blendy!" Tim Barr announced as the crowd continued to boo while Sherry cricked her neck several times as she slowly stood back to her feet. Sherry stuck her tongue out as she ran her fingers across her face.
"Sherry won a Fatal-4-Way match against some of the best female Superstars Octane has to offer, and won the opportunity to face Rei in a First Blood match as she suggested," Okabe explained as Sherry growled at the booing fans in the front row before looking at the last remnants of the fire with amusement. Sherry then dropped onto all fours and crawled to the ring with her tongue still sticking out of her as the crowd continued to boo and chant 'You Sick Fuck!' at her.
"Sherry's mind games, so far, haven't had the effect on Rei that she is used to, but that hasn't dampened Sherry's resolve at all," Cornette noted as Sherry turned to the steel steps, and crawled up to the steps before rolling into the ring through the middle rope. The crowd continued to boo as Sherry got on her knees in the center of the ring Sherry then bent backward with her knees still on the mat as she started chanting something that did not sound like human language as the red lights started to strobe.
"If anything, it's motivated Sherry to be even more evil and vicious just so she could break Rei," Beth elaborated as Sherry got back up to her feet, and waited for Rei to come out in the corner. The lights in the arena turned from blood red to sky blue, causing the crowd to explode into cheers as 'Shatter Me' by Lindsey Sterling (feat. Lzzy Hale) played as pyro shot out of the stage and the sides of the TitanTron. Rei then came walking out, causing the crowd to somehow cheer even louder as she came out with her white robe with blue trims and a snowflake pattern.
"And her opponent, from Tokyo Japan, she is the BTWF World Women's Champion, 'the Shining Ace', Rei Ayanami!" Tim Barr announced. Rei made her way to the ring, glaring right at Sherry's cackling face. Rei did not take her eyes off of Sherry as she made her way to the ring, nodding in respect and thanks to the fans who were cheering and chanting her name.
"Rei's husband, Shinji Ikari, was able to retain his United States Championship earlier in the show. Hopefully, that momentum can rub off on Rei in this contest," Okabe noted as when Rei made it to the ringside area, she took off her robe, revealing the BTWF World Women's Championship around her waist. Sherry walked out of the corner, and draped herself over the top rope, telling Rei that her 'Key to the Kingdom' was going home with her.
"Sherry is on a quest to take control of the BTWF and engulf the company in her own world of darkness, but she has said that she needs the BTWF World Women's Championship to do so," Beth explained as Rei walked to another side of the ring, and rolled into the ring through the bottom rope before taking the BTWF World Women's Championship off of around her waist, and gave it to the referee.
"Well if Rei has anything to say about it, that won't happen. And Rei also looks like she's ready for a fight right now!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei told the referee to tell the timekeeper to ring the bell. When the timekeeper did, Rei and Sherry went to the center of the ring and started punching each other in the sides of the face. However, the crowd cheered as Rei started punching Sherry in the gut, and threw her into the corner. Rei hit multiple Knife-Edge Chops to the chest of Sherry, but Sherry kicked one of Rei's hands away, slammed the back of Rei's head into the top turnbuckle, and hit her with multiple Knife-Edge Chops.
"Rei and Sherry immediately trading blows with each other all over the ring!" Cornette exclaimed as Sherry climbed up to the middle rope, and attempted to bite Rei in the head, but Rei pushed Sherry off of her before her teeth could go through her skin. Rei then ran out of the corner and hit Sherry with a Running Crossbody before mounting her and hitting her with multiple Forearms to the side of the face. However, Sherry poked Rei in the eye, causing the crowd to boo as Sherry started clubbing Rei on the back multiple times before picking her up for a Suplex. However, Rei punched Sherry in the side of the head before turning the Back Suplex attempt into a Hurricanrana, causing the crowd to go back into cheering.
"Rei taking Sherry down with a Hurricanrana, showing off some impressive athleticism!" Beth exclaimed as Rei went after Sherry with a Running Dropkick to the side of her head, sending her falling out of the ring. The crowd continued to cheer as Rei grabbed the top rope, and springboarded out of the ring to hit a still standing Sherry with a Springboard Crossbody. Rei then stomped on Sherry's gut before grabbing her hair and attempting to throw Sherry into the steel ring steps.
"Oh! Those ring steps are not only made of steel but have sharp edges! Those are easy skin cutters and could cause some bleeding easily!" Okabe exclaimed as Sherry was able to jump over the steel steps. Rei, however, was able to see this and ran at her, jumping over the steel steps in an attempt to hit a Jumping Crossbody onto Sherry. However, Sherry was able to pick Rei up in mid-air, causing the crowd to boo as Sherry attempted to slam Rei on the top of the steel steps, but Rei started elbowing Sherry in the side of the head to break herself out of the hold.
"Rei and Sherry have not been able to gain long term momentum in this match because they know the more momentum one has, the more chances their opponent has to make them bleed," Cornette explained as Rei attempted to hit Sherry with a Tornado DDT onto the padded concrete, but Sherry was able to keep Rei in position within her grasp. The crowd continued to boo as Sherry attempted to throw Rei away with an Exploder Suplex, but Rei was able to land on top of the fan barricade, causing the crowd to cheer as Rei hit Sherry with a Moonsault from the top of the fan barricade, taking both her and Sherry down.
"What a moonsault by Rei! Lucky for Sherry, however, her head didn't hit the side of the steel steps, so she should be fine," Okabe explained as Rei grabbed Sherry by the hair, picked her up, and started punching her in the side of the head before dragging her to the announcers' tables.
"We should also talk about how well Rei is doing in this fighting environment even though she's admitted herself that this isn't her cup of tea," Beth noted as Rei smashed Sherry's head onto the top of the announcers' table multiple times. Rei then hit Sherry with a punch to the side of the head that had enough force to send Sherry laying down on the top of the announcers' table. The crowd continued to cheer as Rei went to the apron, and dragged a steel chair out of the bottom of the ring.
"Rei has a steel chair in her hands now! If anything will make you bleed, it's a hard chair shot right to the face!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei attempted to hit Sherry with a chair, but Sherry was able to counter with several kicks to the gut of Rei, causing Rei to drop the chair and jump off of the top of the announcers' table, knocking Rei down with a Lou Thesz Press. However, rather than go for punches, Sherry slammed the back of Rei's head into the padded concrete multiple times before picking her back up by the hair.
"Despite that amazing Moonsault, neither woman has gotten a clear cut advantage yet," Okabe explained as Sherry punched Rei in the gut multiple times before attempting to pick Rei up again, but Rei was able to slip out of the hold, and push Sherry chest first into the steel ring apron. The crowd started cheering as Rei started elbowing her in the back several times and throwing her back into the ring. The crowd continued to cheer as Rei hit Sherry with a Springboard Senton to the back of Sherry before rolling back out of the ring, grabbing the steel chair that Sherry had gotten earlier.
"And now we're seeing Rei with a chair, probably wanting to end this as early as possible," Beth explained as Rei hit Sherry in the back with the chair several times before turning her around and ramming the chair into Sherry's stomach. The referee briefly stopped Rei to check if Sherry was bleeding, but Sherry wasn't bleeding, so Rei continued ramming the chair into Sherry's gut, causing the crowd to cheer and chant for Rei.
"Maybe Sherry's mind games affected Rei more than we thought. We haven't seen this aggressive side of Rei since New Horizons," Cornette explained as Rei prepared for another chair shot, but Sherry kicked the chair right into Rei's face, causing the crowd to boo as Rei put a hand over her forehead. The referee ran up to Rei, checked on her, and said that she wasn't bleeding, allowing Sherry to get back to her feet, and hit Rei with a Running Jumping Clothesline that sent Rei crashing into the corner.
"Sherry literally jumping into the frame there, sending Rei crashing into the corner!" Cornette exclaimed as Sherry kicked Rei in the gut multiple times before rolling out of the ring. The crowd booed as Sherry grabbed a toolbox from the bottom of the ring, smirking as she opened it and grabbed a pointed screwdriver. Sherry attempted to ram it into Rei's face, but Rei was able to dodge, but when she attempted to punch Sherry, Sherry kneed Rei in the gut before hitting her with a DDT.
"Sherry has a screwdriver in her hand, so it was smart of Rei to try and fight back!" Okabe exclaimed as Sherry grabbed Rei by the hair, and put the screwdriver in Rei's nose, causing the crowd to boo as Sherry tried to drive the wrench further into Rei's nose, but Rei grabbed a wrench from the toolbox and struck Sherry in the side of the arm with it several times. The referee checked both women and found that neither one were bleeding before Sherry hit Rei with a headbutt to the side of the head, sending her falling to her knees.
"I would've thought a screwdriver up the nose would've caused some bleeding there!" Beth exclaimed while wincing at the memory of it before Sherry ran the ropes, and hit a Running Basement Dropkick to the side of the head, sending Rei falling out of the ring once again. The crowd continued to boo as Sherry followed Rei out of the ring, picked her up by the face, and started hitting her with knees to the gut before nailing her with a Superkick that sent her staggering into the corner of the fan barricade.
"What does Sherry have planned here!? Rei's leaning on that part of the fan barricade, barely able to stand!" Okabe exclaimed as Sherry growled at the booing crowd before letting out a primal scream, and running at Rei, sending her crashing through the timekeeper's area with a Spear.
"Well, that's what she had planned Okabe! I wouldn't be surprised if Rei's bleeding from somewhere right now!" Cornette exclaimed as Sherry grabbed the timekeeper's table, and sent it crashing onto Rei's gut. The referee ran over to the two women and checked to see whether or not Rei was bleeding, and when she determined that Rei wasn't bleeding, Sherry glared at the referee before stomping on Rei's chest and sides before dragging her out of the timekeeper's area by her hair.
"I'm just in absolute shock that Rei isn't bleeding right now, especially with how she hit the back of her head on the side of the timekeeper's table," Beth said in shock as Sherry dragged Rei all the way to the Spanish announcers' table, and started punching Rei in the face before picking her up, and hitting her with a Falcon Arrow onto the top of the announcers' table. The crowd booed as Rei's back smacked against the cover for the announcers' table, but the table did not break. Sherry then hit multiple forearms onto Rei's face before walking backward and attempting to hit a Running Splash onto Rei. However, the crowd cheered as Rei grabbed one of the table monitors, and slammed it right into Sherry's face, sending her falling to the ground.
"Rei just sent that television monitor crashing into Sherry's face, but amazingly, it doesn't look like she's bleeding at all!" Okabe exclaimed as Rei stood up onto the Spanish announcers' table before hitting another Moonsault off of the table and onto Sherry, causing the crowd to cheer. Rei started breathing heavily as she picked Sherry up the hair, and clubbed her in the back of the head before attempting to throw her into the steel steps. However, Sherry was able to counter this throw, and send Rei into the side of the steel steps, causing the crowd to boo as Sherry backed away to the other side of the ring.
"Rei crashing right into the side of the steel steps! That had to hurt her arm, which could greatly impact her submissions and lifting moves," Cornette explained as Sherry ran at Rei, attempting to hit a Running Knee Strike to Rei, but Rei was able to dodge, sending Sherry's right knee crashing into the side of the steel steps. Rei then moved to the other side of the steel steps, and then ran at Sherry, hitting her with a Jumping Hurricanrana over the steel steps, sending Sherry on the ground. The crowd continued to cheer as Rei jumped onto the ring apron as Sherry started staggering back to her feet, holding her head in pain.
"Rei's been using her speed to damage Sherry, as her high flying moves have every opportunity to cut Sherry's head, hit Sherry in the nose, or cut her by sending her into the corner of our announcers' table," Okabe explained as Rei springboarded off of the 2nd rope, and hit a Lionsault onto Sherry, sending her falling back onto the floor. Rei grabbed her ribs in pain and grit her teeth before grabbing Sherry and throwing her back into the ring. The crowd cheered as Rei jumped back onto the apron, and climbed up to the top rope.
"What else could Rei possibly have planned here!? She has to be careful of what else she does on the top rope. Rei may have been successful several times, but luck runs out in these types of matches," Cornette explained as Sherry started staggering back to her feet, and Rei attempted to hit her with a Crossbody. However, Sherry was able to counter while Rei was midair, and hit her with a Gutbuster, sending Rei's gut and chest crashing into her knee. The crowd booed as Sherry grabbed Rei, and hit her with a Reverse DDT before mounting her and hitting her with multiple forearms to the face.
"Sherry now trying to bust Rei up with some hard Forearms to the face and nose!" Beth exclaimed as Sherry picked Rei up by the hair, and attempted to hit her with a DDT. However, Rei pushed Sherry into the corner, and hit her with multiple Shoulder Thrusts into the gut before backing away, and attempting to hit a Running Back Elbow. However, Sherry was able to move out of the way, climb up to the middle rope, put Rei in a Front Facelock, and hit her with a Tornado DDT.
"Sherry face planting Rei with a Tornado DDT! And the referee is making sure that Rei isn't bleeding!" Okabe exclaimed as the referee said there was no blood. Sherry then walked back to the toolbox and grabbed a chain from the box before wrapping the chain around Rei's neck and began choking her with the chain. The referee continued to check if Rei would start bleeding from the mouth as Rei got back to her feet, and attempted to fight out of the choke. The crowd cheered as Rei started elbowing Sherry in the gut before grabbing the chain out of Sherry's hands, and began choking Sherry herself.
"And Rei now, with the chain, choking Sherry back!" Beth exclaimed as Sherry ran to one side of the ring, and threw her out of the ring, sending her through the middle ropes. Sherry then ran through the middle rope, attempting a Suicide Dive, but Rei was able to hit Sherry with a kick that sent her draping over the middle rope. The crowd continued to cheer as Rei walked over to the destroyed timekeeper's area, grabbed the ring bell, and started hitting Sherry in the back and the back of the head multiple times with the ring bell. The crowd continued to cheer as Rei hit Sherry in the face with the ring bell, sending her falling back fully into the ring. The referee checked to see if Sherry was bleeding, and when the referee said no, Rei ran a hand through her hair.
"I don't know how Sherry's skin survived those shots with the ring bell. I would've expected at least a cut on the back or head," Okabe noted as Rei started climbing up to the top rope, and hit a Light from Above (Frog Splash) onto Sherry's gut. Rei didn't let up, however, as she stomped on Sherry's gut multiple times before going up to the top rope once again, and attempted another Light from Above (Frog Splash). However, Sherry was able to lift her knees up, causing Rei's chest to crash into Sherry's knees.
"Sherry somehow still has enough in her to bring her knees up, countering another Frog Splash by Rei Ayanami!" Cornette exclaimed as Sherry picked herself up, and threw Rei into the steel ring post arm first. The crowd continued to boo as Sherry ran into the corner, jumped above Rei, and dropped onto her back with a Double Knee Drop. Sherry then jumped behind Rei and attempted to hit a Chaos Theory German Suplex onto Rei, but Rei was able to keep her feet on the ground, attempting to hit Sherry with the Redemption (Cross Rhodes). However, Sherry was able to smash her knee into Rei's face several times before hitting her with the Darkness Falls (Killswitch).
"And darkness may have fallen on Rei's reign!" Beth exclaimed as the referee went to check on Rei, but Sherry looked shocked and furious when the referee said that Rei wasn't bleeding. Sherry shrieked in frustration before she mounted Rei and started punching her in the face, causing the crowd to boo before grabbing Rei, and attempting to hit the Darkness Falls (Killswitch) once again. However, Rei was able to fight out of the Darkness Falls (Killswitch) and hit Sherry with the Redemption (Cross Rhodes).
"Rei with the Redemption! Could we see the reign of the Shining Ace continue!?" Okabe asked as Rei leaned over the ropes to get some breath back in her lungs. However, the crowd started making some noise as a figure in a black hood came running to the ringside area in front of Rei. Rei barely noticed the figure before this hooded figure spat some clear liquid right into Rei's eyes, causing the crowd to boo as Rei fell onto her knees, trying to get this stinging substance out of her eyes.
"What the hell was that!? Someone just came and shot some sort of liquid into Rei's eyes!" Cornette exclaimed as Sherry reached into her pocket, revealing her pickaxe weapon. Rei tried to get back to her feet despite barely being able to see, but Sherry hit her in the head with the pickaxe, causing the crowd to boo as Rei went down. When the referee went to check on Rei, she revealed that Rei was bleeding from the middle of her forehead, causing her to ring the bell and the crowd to start booing.
*Bell Rings*
"Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, and the new BTWF World Women's Champion, she is the Leader of the Sisterhood of Darkness, Sherry Blendy!" Tim Barr announced as Sherry rolled out of the ring, and grabbed the BTWF World Women's Championship from Barr before grabbing his microphone as well. The crowd continued to boo as Sherry walked over to the hooded figure, and smirked at Rei out of the corner of her eye before raising the championship over her head.
"Actually, I am not the leader of the Sisterhood of Darkness. This woman, who helped me take the keys to the kingdom, is the real leader of the Sisterhood of Darkness. She is the dark influence that inspired us all to come together for one great mission to envelop this world in darkness. She saw in us what nobody else would, so after securing the keys to the kingdom, it is my honor to introduce you to Medusa Gorgon; the true leader of the Sisterhood of Darkness!" Sherry exclaimed as she put the hood down, revealing Medusa Gorgon. Sherry knelt down on both of her knees as Medusa ran her hands through Sherry's pink hair before grabbing the microphone from Sherry's hands.
"Rei…your time leading this company towards the light is over. With Sherry and the rest of my children in the Sisterhood, you all will be drowned in the darkness, where the only thing you'll have to keep you company is the voices of self-doubt and disappointment that the light provided a remedy from. Welcome to the Age of Darkness ladies and gentlemen," Medusa said before she started cackling along with a still kneeling Sherry.
"Well, there you have it from the Sisterhood's supposed real leader, BTWF Hall of Famer Medusa Gorgon!" Cornette exclaimed as Rei ran her hands through her light blue hair as the realization of her title reign coming to an end crashed down on her like a wrecking ball. A couple of medical personnel were in the ring, trying to manage the blood flow from Rei's head. Sherry got back up to her feet and smirked at Rei before nodding at Medusa and rolling back into the ring. The crowd continued to boo as Sherry grabbed her pickaxe, and started pushing the point of it into Rei's head wound.
"Sherry's won the match and the championship, but she's after more blood from the former champion!" Beth exclaimed in disgust as Sherry invited Medusa into the ring, where Medusa came into the ring. Sherry held Rei down as Medusa ran her finger across Rei's bleeding head before licking the blood off. The crowd booed as Medusa nodded, and Sherry picked Rei back up and hit her with the Darkness Falls (Killswitch).
"Medusa tasting the blood of the Sisterhood's latest victim, much to the new BTWF World Women's Champion's delight!" Cornette exclaimed as Sherry went back to her feet, raising the BTWF World Women's Championship over her head as Medusa told the fans to embrace the Era of Darkness as medical personnel took Rei out of the ring to continue checking on the former BTWF World Women's Champion.
"Well after all this, we have Tommy Salami backstage, who has LWF: Reborn's Chris Panzer and 'the Real American' Stan Smith with him for the Deli Counter," Cornette explained as the camera panned to the makeshift Deli Counter set while medical personnel helped Rei to her feet, and walking her back to the locker room area. The makeshift Deli Counter had multiple stools around, with Salami, Panzer, and Stan sitting on one-person couches. There was also a ticket machine next to Tommy as he gave both Stan and Panzer some attachable microphones for their clothes.
"Thank you, Jim, I am here with two men who will be facing each other at LWF: Reborn's biggest PPV, Wrestlepalooza. Now, Stan, you've been calling out Chris Panzer for weeks, and I think we all want to know what your problem is with Panzer?" Salami asked as Stan sighed before glaring right at Panzer, who just rolled his eyes at Stan's glare.
"My problem? My problem with him is his fake Patriotism towards the greatest country on this planet; the United States of America. He comes out and talks about how proud he is to be in this country and thankful for all the opportunities that he's been given in this country, but then he turns right around and babbles on about his Filipino culture-"
"You see, you see, that's your problem, Stan."
"What's my problem, Panzer?"
"You're a hypocrite. See, by your logic, it's OK to be an unhealthy patriot when it's for the United States, but when I choose to represent my culture and my relatives in the Philippines, then it's all of a sudden a problem. People like you are the reason that America has such a terrible reputation around the world," Panzer explained as Stan started laughing in Panzer's face, causing Panzer's glare to return.
"The man celebrating the 'culture' of a country known for nothing but giant bugs and 20 people living in a shack because they're so poor is going to tell me that America has a bad reputation?" Stan said while chuckling. Panzer stood up, causing Salami to get up himself and stand in front of him and Stan.
"Yeah, because America is home to so many racist bigots like you. I had to deal with so many of these people, but you know what you really hate? The fact that your racism doesn't put out my fire, but rather adds fuel to my fire to be the best wrestler. And at Wrestlepalooza, I'm going to not only make you humble but beat the racism out of you!" Panzer yelled as Salami tried to push Panzer back to his seat. Stan continued to laugh before he suddenly stopped, got up from his chair, and slapped Panzer in the face.
"Actually, what's going to happen at Wrestlepalooza is that I'm going to make you tap out to the Patriot Lock (Ankle Lock), and show you why no Half-Blood can beat a Real American like me!" Stan screamed in Panzer's face. Panzer responded with a punch right to Stan's face before running around Salami and brawling with Stan on the floor, who was punching Panzer back. The two then stood up and continued punching and forearming each other in the side of the head and the face before security finally came running down.
"This isn't over! I'll come to your backyard in LWF to teach you!" Stan exclaimed in anger as the security team were able to separate Panzer and Stan. Both men tried to break out of the security's grasp, but they were unsuccessful as they were pulled and pushed away from the Deli Counter while they continued to shout expletives at each other. When he was sure that Panzer and Stan were gone, Tommy picked up a couple of the stools and put them back in an upright position before picking up the small microphones attached to Panzer and Stan for their interview.
"Well glad that was over, I almost suffocated on all the tension in the air. They're in for some battle at Wrestlepalooza. Let's get back to the rest of this PPV, as we still have some epic matches in store," Tommy said, segwaying into the next match as the camera panned back to the stage.
