Chapter 2

The girls and animals return to the Powhatan Village. Upon arrival Chief Powhatan addressed the people of the battle; his brave warriors stood near him. And the bravest was a strong young warrior named Kocoum.

"… We faced a determined enemy. The battle lasted from the rising of the sun until the evening shadows fell. Our warriors fought with courage, but none as bravely as Kocoum. He attacked with the fierce strength of the bear. He has proven himself to be the greatest…"

Kekata anoints Kocoum with the paw print of the bear on his manly pecs and speak of which, Pocahontas and Nakoma peaked through the crowd sized up the warrior from head … to foot.

"Oh, he's so handsome." Nakoma said with a purr and dreamy eyes.

"I especially love his smile." Pocahontas added sarcastically. Kocoum wasn't smiling at this moment but he looked very proud and stoic, but with good reason.

"… Destroying every enemy in his path. Tonight we will feast in his honor." Powhatan concluded and the crowd goes wild.

Nakoma let out a cheer for the handsome warrior. The crowd begins to disperse and Pocahontas finally goes over to hug her father.

"My daughter."

"Wingapo, father."

"Seeing you gives me great joy." the weary Powhatan smiles.

"I am so glad you've come home safely." Pocahontas said.

"Come with me, we have much to talk about. I want to hear everything you've been doing." Powhatan motion her to follow him into their wigwam. Meeko and Flit enter inside through the roof.

Pocahontas confessed her dream to Powhatan to hear his interpretation of it. "Father, for many nights now I've been having a very strange dream. I think it's telling me something's about to happen, something exciting."

Powhatan hands her his staff as he walks over to a shelf to put his feather crown on. "Yes, something exciting is about to happen." he said, knowing something he was told recently.

Meeko wasted no time get under the crown and peaked down at them.

Pocahontas set the staff aside to listen. "Really, what is it?" she asked evidently wondering what it could be.

"Kocoum has asked to seek your hand in marriage." Powhatan said with one of his warm smiles.

Pocahontas was in disbelief. "Marry Kocoum?"

Flit squeaks happily while Meeko retches in disgust.

"I told him it would make my heart soar." Powhatan said holding his little princess who will soon be a woman.

Pocahontas tries to smile for her father but found she could not keep it for long. She back away and walked over to the door way and pulled back the fabric to see Kocoum standing in middle of some children who want to play with, but he just continues to exuding his giga-chad aura for some reason, or another.

"But he's so … serious."

Powhatan understands that Kocoum is hard of as the stone (pun not intend) and he wasn't the first choice as a suitor for his daughter. But in the eyes of Powhatan, Kocoum has earned it. "My daughter, Kocoum will make a fine husband. He is loyal and strong and will build you a good house with sturdy walls. With him you will be safe from harm." he encouraged her to the idea.

Pocahontas understands that Kocoum is not a terrible person. But she remains firm in what she desires. "Father, I think my dream is pointing me down another path."

"This is the right path for you."

Meeko tries mock Kocoum by put the red paw prints on his puffed out chest. Flit jabs Meeko and pulls the crown down over his eyes. Meeko try to take a swing at Flit and falls over …

"But why can't I choose—"

… Where Pocahontas catches him and the bowl cracks of the ground landing o Flit little head. Meeko chatters cutely and Pocahontas giggles at him.

Not wanting anything else broken Powhatan motions his daughter to follow him outside.

"Pocahontas, come with me. You are the daughter of the chief. It is time to take your place among our people. Even the wild mountain stream must someday join the big river." they walk and look about the temple that is the wild river. Powhatan sings a short song in its honor.

As the river cuts his path

Though the river's proud and strong

He will choose the smoothest course

That's why rivers live so long

They're steady as the steady beating drum

Powhatan took a turquoise necklace from a pocket behind his back. "Your mother wore this for our wedding." He said smiling fondly. "It was her dream to see you wear it at your own." He said placing it around her neck. She smiled at the gift. "It suits you."

Pocahontas mother was unique among, their people. When she passed the village wept for days. Powhatan, heartbroken by the lost, knew that as chieftain he must help his village in the time of sorrow. He gave a speech that inspired all in the village, including Pocahontas; to look to the coming dawn for the even the night must give way in the cycle it and they were all a part of.

A few hours later she sat next to the river with her animal friends. She looked at the necklace puzzled. Meeko climbs onto her back and takes a look at it."He wants me to be steady. Like the river." She said looking into the still water at her own reflection. Suddenly two otters burst from the water surprising her and Meeko, the latter falling backwards.. "But it's not steady at all." She said as she stepped into the river and climbed into a canoe. She begins to sing about the other nature of the river.

What I love most about rivers is

You can't step in the same river twice

The water's always changing, always flowing

But people, I guess, can't live like that We all must pay a price

To be safe we lose our chance of ever knowing

What's around the riverbend

Waiting just around the riverbend

I look once more

Just about the riverbend

Beyond the shore

Where the gulls fly free

Don't know what for

What I dream the day might send

Just around the riverbend

For me

Coming for me

I feel it there beyond those trees

Or right behind these waterfalls

Can I ignore that sound of distant drumming?

For a handsome, sturdy husband

Who builds handsome, sturdy walls

And never dreams that something might be coming

Just around the riverbend

Just around the riverbend

I look once more

Just around the riverbend

Beyond the shore

Somewhere past the sea

Don't know what for

Why do all my dreams extend

Just around the riverbend

Just around the riverbend

Should I choose the smoothest course?

Steady as the beating drum

Should I marry Kocoum?

Is all my dreaming at an end?

Or do you still wait for me, Dream Giver

Just around the riverbend?

She paddled her canoe into a large pond where in the middle large willow tree sits. The animals that have taken refuge in and around the tree came out to great her.

As she climbed onto a stump to sit in front of the tree the voice of an old women called out. "Is that my Pocahontas?"

"Grandmother Willow, I need to talk to you." As she said this a face appeared in the old trees trunk.

"Good morning, child. I was hoping you'd visit today." The tree spirit gasped in surprise when she noticed the necklace. "Why, your mother's necklace!"

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about." Pocahontas said. "My father wants me to marry Kocoum."

"Kocoum? But he's so serious!" She said making a stiff and grumpy face much to Pocahontas's amusement.

"I know." Pocahontas sighs. "My father thinks it's the right path for me. But lately I've been having this dream and I think it's—"

"Oh, a dream! Let's hear all about it!" She said excitedly.

But before Pocahontas could even speak the animals surrounding the tree began to chatter excitedly. "Quiet!" Grandmother Willow shouted annoyed. The animals merely ignored her. "SHUT UP!"

Every animal became quite. A frog croaked and grandmother willow raised her eyebrow at it causing it to hide under a Lilypad.

"Now, child, you were saying." Grandmother Willow said.

"Well, I'm running through the woods and then right there in front of me is an arrow. As I look at it, it starts to spin." Pocahontas explained.

"A spinning arrow? How unusual."

"Yes! It spins faster and faster and faster until suddenly it stops."

Meeko was getting dizzy at the thought of a spinning arrow.

Grandmother Willow thinks for a moment. "Hmm. Well, seems to me this spinning arrow is pointing you down your path."

"But Grandmother Willow, what is my path? How am I ever going to find it?"

Grandmother Willow chuckles. "Your mother asked me the very same question."

"She did? What did you tell her?" Pocahontas asked.

"I told her to listen. All around you are spirits, child. They live in the earth, the water, the sky. If you listen, they will guide you." Grandmother Willow said.

Then the wind whistled through the tree tops. It almost sounded like singing. The Wind Spirits began to speak to Pocahontas.

Ay ay ay na ay ay na. Que que na-to-ra

"I hear the wind." Pocahontas stood on her feet as she listened.

"Yes, what is it telling you?" Grandmother Willow asked.

Pocahontas listened for a moment. "I don't understand." she said honestly.

Grandmother Willow began to sing the winds words to her.

Que que na-to-ra

You will understand

Listen with your heart

You will understand

Let it break upon you

Like a wave upon the sand

Listen with your heart.

You will understand.

(You will understand)

"It's saying something's coming! Strange clouds?"

Pocahontas climbed up the tree to get a look her animal friends following her. Meeko and Flit squeaked in alarm as the dashed back down the tree. Pocahontas had to agree what they saw was alarm, but very curious.

"What do you see?" Grandmother Willow called up to Pocahontas.

"Clouds. Strange clouds." She said staring in amazement.

The strange clouds that pull of a large ship.

The colonists have finally arrived … again. Nah, it be fine.

After days and nights of traveling on the high seas The Susan Constant's brave crew finally were able to see the New Worlds coast by dawn. Dante and rest of the crew we asleep in their hammocks as the ship rock gently from side to side. Dante finally stirred and looked around in the dimness. He felt something heavy on his chest and lifted up the blanket to find Aisling in her human form sleeping face-up on his chest. She was in her cat form he she jumped on him and snuggled in for the night; but he guess this was more comfortable to stretch in her human form. Dante tapped her tapped her head until she awoke.

"Mmmm … hmmm … Morning already?" she asked in a whisper before yawning.

Dante looked at the nearest window. "Yeah, by the looks of it. Listen, I need to pee. Can you get up?" he asked politely

"Yeah." Aisling said and stepped out of the hammock and transformed back into a cat and headed up on deck.

Dante appeared on deck and hand inhaled the sea air for the hundredth time. He head to the front of the ship and stood at the front of the ship. With a sigh he relieved himself of the wine he drank the other night.

"Need to drink more or water when I get to shore. I have liquid gold coming out of me. Haw! Haw! Haw! Oh shut up."

Dante looked around at the horizon in front of him and saw the dark blue sky and water. Through his drowsy state he saw what appears to be land in the distance. Dante blinked for a moment and smiled. They are here. Finished and urinating and climbed the crow's nest to find the old-timer with an eyes path sound asleep. Dante rolled his eyes climbed and landed on deck. He was going to do it himself.

"LAAAAAND HOOOOO!"

The old-timer and awake with a start and looked around and saw the land for himself.

"Christ! Uh, Land ho!"

Dante nodded his head in approval before here the men get out of their beds and head up on deck. the look in front of them and see the New World in the distance.

"Aye, we did it lads!" Ben shouted and the rest of the crew cheered.

Land hoes. Land hoes. It fun when they do it for free. Griffon said in V mind.

Soon the Susan Constant reached the shore and head down a wide deep river with green hills, tall tree and tall mountains on either side. Ratcliff grinned at the beautiful new world outside his cabin window. "Look at it, Wiggins, an entire beautiful New World chock-full of gold, just waiting for me."

"And scores of adventures waiting for us, right, Percy?" Wiggins said to the spoiled pug. "Do you think we'll meet some savages?"

"If we do, we should be sure to give them a proper English greeting." Ratcliff intoned.

"Oh, gift baskets!" Wiggins said holding them up cheerfully.

Ratcliff rolled his eyes, because that's how the English handled the French, Germans and Spanish. With … GIFT BASKETS!

"And he came so highly recommended." He said as he took a map from a shelf.

Dante enters suddenly good news.

"It's perfect. The water's deep enough, we can pull right up to shore. Hey there, pooch." Dante said ruffling the dog's fur making him angry.

"His name is Percy, Master Smith." Wiggins reminded him.

"Oh … Hey Percy." Dante said ruffling the dog's fur making him pissed, again.

"Very well, then. Give the order." Ratcliff said.

"Already done. I've got a crew assembled and they're ready to go."

Ratcliff looked at him clearly impressed. "Hmm, now about the natives ... I'm counting on you to make sure those filthy heathens don't disrupt our mission."

"Well … if they're anything like the foes I've fought before, it's nothing I can't handle." Dante said with reassuring smile.

"Right." Ratcliff concluded and poured himself a small glass of wine. "That'll be all, Smith, there's a good man."

"See ya, Percy." Dante said goodbye with one last ruffling the dog's fur making him infuriated, again!

Dante leaves and Ratcliff takes a slip and ponders for a moment before getting up and walking to the mirror. "The men like Smith, don't they? I've never been a … popular man."

"I like you." Wiggins said never missing a beat considering he's being paid by the hour on this trip.

Ratcliff brushed it off. "And don't think I don't know what those backstabbers at court say about me."

Wiggins reaches around to hook his belt together around his girth. "Oh yes, all that talk about you being a 'pathetic social climber who's failed at everything' he's—"

"I'M VERY WELL AWARE that this is my last chance for GLORY. But mark my words, Wiggins, when King James see the gold these peasants unearth success will be mine, at last." Ratcliff grinned with his attire fully on.

He always dresses for success.

Meanwhile on the deck of the ship the men prepared to venture into the New World. Dante, V and Aisling stared at the vast forest in amazement.

"Well Valen … we're home." Dante said to his youngest brother.

"Indeed." V said in agreement.

So this is your home state of Virginia? Is it so different … beautiful … and untouched. Aisling said through her thoughts. You said Limbo City rests on the coast of Virginia. Would it be near here?

"Oh, no-no-no. Limbo city is further north in the state near Maryland state and Washington D.C.; this place is going to known by a different name."

I see. Well I wish to explore and see more of the land. She said.

"Well then, jump to it then." Dante said with a stretch.

"Wake up! Shake a leg!" Ben shouted.

"It's incredible." Lon said.

"And it's all ours. I've never seen anything like it." Thomas said.

"It can look like Ratcliffe's knickers, for all I care, just as long as we get off this stinking boat. I had of all the piss, shite, mold and rats we all come to know of the on the way here." Ben unfurled the ladder down to the awaiting boat.

"Come on, men, we didn't come all this way just to look at it. Or at least, I didn't come all this way just to look at it." Dante said as he through on a hood grey clock and pulled the hood over his silver hair and climbed down the ladder.

Thomas was next and he notices the cat, Aisling, on around Dante's shoulder. "You bringing Aisling ashore?" Thomas asked.

"Yeah, she has been cooped up with us for so long, she needs the wide open space to roam." Dante said.

"I agree with the cat, let's get a move on!" Ben urged Thomas down the ladder.

Finally they row ashore and passing through the morning mist on the river with columns of trees on both sides of the river. The sounds of birds and animals echoed through the still air.

It has been long said that all we come to the realm of the New World (the Norseman, Chinese and even the Ancient Egyptians (no joke)) understand that there a is a sense of wonder, majesty and mystery in this Wonderland. The New World is haven for all who wish to live in peace.

As everyone on the boat was amaze in the realm their now entered Pocahontas runs down to the river's edge with Meeko and Flit to watches these newcomers. She creeps on a small rock ledge and waits for them as they come out of the morning mist. The boat stopped at the river's edge and Dante allowed Aisling to have the first step into the New Land she leaped from his shoulder and landed on the sand the soft coolness of the sand. He sends the modern land of the America, but to feel it in person for herself … it's magical. Pocahontas peaks out and sees Dante jump out of the boat. He pushes back his hood back and reveals himself to the wilderness around him. Pocahontas stared at the stranger mystified.

The guys began to pull the ship into shallow waters for that it would be easier load and unload cargo.

"Keep it taut, lads, keep it taut! Steady, steady." Ben heaved and hoed.

"Ah, that's far enough! All right now, tie her off." Lon said passing the extra rope to Thomas.

"Here, John, tie up this end." However when he turned around he was gone. He looked around until he saw Dante climbing onto a stone outcropping. "John? John? What are you doing up there?" Thomas called to him.

"I'm trying to get a better look." Dante said climb up and stood and stared at this strange new world, his yet to be home, in amazement. However he wasn't entirely alone.

This same stone outcropping is the same one that Pocahontas was at. As Dante climbed upward toward she drifted back into the shadows of the brush.

Pocahontas stared at the stranger mystified. These … pale men are alien to the land. Some have fur on their faces. Who has heard of such a thing? Animals have hair so are they a time a man animal? And the tongue their spoke was truly alien. Yet despite it all Pocahontas stared at the stranger with short snow white hair, tall and furless face.

He is handsome … whatever he is.

Suddenly before she could stop him, Meeko crawled out to investigate this ... Stranger.

Flit grabbed his tail trying to stop him, but the raccoon ended up rolling into the stranger bumping into him. The stranger turned around startled drawing a dagger. He looked down at the strange creature looking somewhat relieved that it was an animal.

Pocahontas gaped silently in fear for Meeko but it turned out to before nothing when the white hair stranger reacted very friendly to Meeko. Pocahontas may not understand the language he spoke but his tone seemed to be friendly like his actions.

"Well, well, a raccoon. Aren't you just a fuzzy-wuzzy adorable?" Dante said.

Meeko becomes afraid of the alien and back up toward the tree trunk. The stranger decides to offer a present to the show he was not a threat.

You hungry? Here you go, you wanna cookie. Or a biscuit as them back there call it. It's food … Well, sort of."

Meeko sniffs it and with a glance at the stranger took the biscuit snatches it and eats the entire thing happily.

"You like it, eh? Well, try eating it for four months straight. Speaking of, which you won't happened to know a good brush or tree to use, do ya'? I really need to go." Stranger offers cookie of the biscuit variety.

Meeko then looked behind him waved at a nearby bush.

"You got a friend back there?" the stranger asked.

Pocahontas' eyes widened at the stranger as he becomes began to be curious and steps on a small rock ledge.

She backed away into the shadows alarmed as the stranger approached. However before he could discover her Flit flew out of the bush in an attempt to scare him off. "Hey, what, what, watch out! No … Get that … Look out!" He evades and about as biscuits dropped from his bag; allow Meeko the perfect opportunity to get more free snacks.

Then, he heard the sound of a trumpet go off. "John! You'd better get down here. The governor's coming ashore." Thomas called.

"Alright, alright, ALRIGHT! I'm going. Yeesh." Dante said as pulled his hood over his head.

Flit flies back over to Pocahontas and squeaks in triumph. Pocahontas smirks in approval; if she does get reveal herself to the strangers then it has to her terms when she is most comfortable.

As for Meeko he finished the last biscuit brushes off the crumbles of his face (and gets the last of them) he turned toward the settlers and smacks his lips. Yes, he wants more of it.

Meanwhile night fell over Powhatan's camp and restlessness moved through them. Many saw the ship's arrival from the forest and reported back. Soon more came and saw it and report back with more news. Finally Chief Powhatan decided to call a meet in the main hall surrounded by the elders, warriors and a few tribesmen that were allow to attended, Everyone else had to watch the meet from the outside.

"Did you see their skin? Pale and sickly." said a warrior to another.

"Some of them have fur on their faces like dogs." said a warrior to his wife.

Chief Powhatan sat on a throne while with some of the elders. Finally he raised his hand and the count quieted. "My brothers, we must know more about these visitors. Kekata, what do you see?"

Kekata stood and walked to the fire. He threw some powder into the fires as he chant in the ancient tongue. Then with a little firebender he cause the flames roared to life showing visions of the settlers.

"No, these are not men like us, but strange beasts with bodies that shine like the sun and weapons that spout fire and thunder. They prowl the earth like ravenous wolves consuming everything in their path."

However the shaman saw something in the flames the intrigued him. Among these prowling wolves there was three who were not like the others, pure of heart and just in their convictions. Then the three wolves turned with other animals beside them to face a large bear, that was not like normal ones, this one has a hunger for blood and will enact great cruelty to satisfy it. Such details in vision require Kekata to mediate on, to discover the hidden meaning. However the other natives however seemed riled up.

Kocoum was really to face this threat. "Great Powhatan. I will lead our warriors to the river and attack. We will destroy these invaders the way we destroyed the Massawomecks."

Chief Powhatan raised his hand and banished the visions from the hall. Kocoum is a brave warrior and his heart in the right place, but he has little wisdom. "Kocoum, in that battle we knew how to fight our enemy, but these pale visitors are strange to us. So take some men to the river to observe them. Let us hope they do not intend to stay."

Morning came at the English settlement and the men gathered to hear Governor Ratcliffe speech. Ratcliffe planted the British Union Jack in the ground and said: "I hereby claim this land and all its riches in the name of His Majesty King James the first, and do so name this settlement JAMESTOWN."

The men cheered as Englishmen do. Wiggins pops his head out to give a word of praise. "Bravo! Bravo! Beautifully spoken, sir!" he pops back inside to tend to Percy as the pooch was having a BUBBLE BATH NEXT TO A BOWL OF CHERRIES. "Hurry now, Percy. We must be all squeaky clean for the New World." Wiggins said though.

Percy understood and ate a cherry. Meeko was out on a tree limb nearby saw the cherries and the bubbles. He grabbed onto the cannon and swings himself into the Percy's bath. Percy shocked at what happened looked around until he saw a soapy bubble float up in front of him. A strange grey and black face was in the bubble until it was popped by the creature with the face.

Meeko gave friendly hello and put a cherry in Percy's shock agape mouth. Meeko dumped and all the cherries in his mouth and before he left he took the last cherry out Percy mouth and popped into his.

"Arf! Arf! ARF!"

Percy chased Meeko out off the ship and how the ramp. Meeko jumped on a rope that allowed him to get onto the tree branch safely. While Percy tumbled down the ramp and crashed into the mud. Percy lifted his head up and made annoyed grumbling bubbles.

Whatever that thing is - This means war!

Dante and V lean against a tree truck observing the scene.

"Well … that's how it began." V sighed.

"Yeah … Hey, V. Back in our time where would the museum be?" Dante asked.

V thought for a moment he remembered when He Dante and Vergil drove to Jamestown to visit the site. "Well … based on where we are standing I think it would be … over there somewhere, I really down know. The spot can be the same but the land can change."

Dante walked over to a rock and looked out at the new frontier. Ratcliffe came over to speak with him.

"Captain Smith! It appears I've selected the perfect location, eh? Not a savage in sight." Ratcliffe said.

"Just because we don't see them doesn't mean they're not out there." Dante remained.

"Well then, perhaps you should venture forth and determine their whereabouts, hmm?" Ratcliffe suggested.

"If there are any natives out there, I'll find them." Dante said head off into the woods with Aisling in the form of a silver eagle over head.

Pocahontas secretly peeked out of the bushes at Dante deciding to follow him. Aisling decided to venture out on her own and see what she can find. V deiced to remain in and around the settlement to keep and eyes on the settlers to make sure they don't anything crazy yet. Which is ironic to think of BECAUSE …

"Now, gentlemen, to work. You men, get the ship unloaded, you men build the fort." Ratcliffe ordered. He then looks to Ben, Lon, Thomas and the rest with a happy attitude. "The rest of you … Break out the shovels! It's time to start digging."

"Digging?" Ben and Lon said in utter confusion.

They just arrived yesterday and now Ratcliffe wants them to start digging!?

"Why, of course! Let's not forget what the Spanish found when they came to the New World. Gold, mountains of it."

"That's only because they found in their vaults of the Aztec, Mayan and Incan kings. Beside why are you so hell-bent, sir?" V asked. as he looked over the map of the entire New World where the

"Why, for years they've been ravaging the New World of its most precious resources but now…" Ratcliffe stabs his sword into the map on the spot label VIRGINA. "… It's OUR turn."

And with that notion he decides to inspire his men with some eloquent words. Reveals his sword's hilt made form the most precious of resources

The gold of Cortéz

The jewels of Pizarro

Will seem like mere trinkets

By this time tomorrow

The gold we find here

Will dwarf them by far

Oh, with all ya got in ya, boys

Dig up Virginia, boys

Mine, boys, mine, every mountain

And dig, boys, dig 'til ya drop

Grab a pick, boys

Quick, boys

Shove in a shovel

Uncover those lovely

Pebbles that sparkle and shine

It's gold

And it's mine, mine, MINE!

Dig and dig and dig and diggety

Dig and dig and dig and diggety-dig…

Hey nonny nonny

Ho nonny nonny

Ooh, how I love it

Hey nonny nonny

Ho nonny nonny

Riches for cheap

Hey nonny nonny

Ho nonny nonny

There'll be heaps of it

And I'll be on top of the heap

My rivals back home

It's not that I'm bitter

But think how they'll squirm

When they see how I glitter

The ladies in court

Will be all a-twitter

The king will reward me

He'll knight me

NO! LORD ME

It's mine, mine, mine

For the taking

It's mine, boys

Mine me that gold

With those nuggets dug

It's glory they'll give me

My dear friend King Jimmy

Will probably build me a shrine

When all of the gold

Is mine

Dig and dig and dig and diggety

Dig and dig and dig and diggety-dig

Out in the forest Dante was well into the woods by now Dante. With all this untamed wildness he started to feel certain spring in his step followed by the sudden urge to sing for some odd reason. Dante can sing, he has before, but only by himself. He thinks some would think negatively about his voice. And since he is alone he decided to give it a whirl for the hell of it.

All of my life I have searched for land like this one

A wilder more challenging country I couldn't design

Hundreds of dangers await and I don't plan to miss one

In a land I can claim, a land I can tame

The greatest adventure is mine

Well he certainly wasn't alone; Pocahontas peak around a tree trunk at him. Though he was singing in a strange tongue, she found his singing voice … awesome.

Keep on working, lads

Mine

Don't be shirking, lads

Mine, boys, mine - Find a mother lode Then mine another load

Mine me that gold - Dig, dig and diggety

Beautiful gold - Dig, dig for that gold

Make this island my land

Make the mounds big, boys I'd help you to dig, boys

But I've got this crick in me spine

This land we behold - This beauty untold

A man can be bold - It all can be sold

SO go for the gold - The GOLD

Is -All the riches here – Mine

From this minute this land - Mine -And what's in it

Is mine -And dig and dig and diggety dig

ITS MINE!

Dante heard the sounds of explosions turn around into the direction of settlement and saw smoke.

So I haven't been gone and half-an-hour and they are already blowing up nature. Dante thought to himself.

Aisling noticed the commotion too and just shook her head and despoiling of the land.

Very subtle … what a way to make yourself known in such a short amount of time. Aisling thought to herself.

V was in the crow's nest sleeping safely.

Well … if anyone everyone ever asks me where the Americans get the reputation for blowing things up and not think about the consequences, I can confidently say they inherited it from the BRITISH. V thought to himself.

Meanwhile on another beach to the north of Jamestown settlement a portal opens and a large armed seeker walks through the shallow tide onto the sandy beach and looks around at the forest before him. This Seeker was the leader of the pack that killed the real John Smith back in England. Dante, V and Aisling killed his pack members but it now was the last survivor. The Seeker sniffed the air and growled with satisfaction.

Settlers and Natives are present here. I must scout the land before hunting designated target. The Seeker thought as he stood and walked off in to the woods.
