A/N: Here is Science Fiction/Double Feature translated into Latin. It's a little odd. Although the first verse is fairly literal the rest is less so. This was partly because I some of the puns were untranslatable, so I came up with puns of my own... which don't always make sense. Especially the bit about Dana Andrews and figs. I guess I got a little silly there, haha.

Also, I am only a student. This Latin is likely incorrect in places. Please correct me in the comments if you spot any errors.

And, yes, I changed Janet's name to Nancy. This is not random. I'm translating "Dammit Janet" as "Hercule Nancy" to preserve the rhyme (this requires me to pronounce "Nancy" like "Nan-say", but that's the best I have been able to come up with).

Fabulosa Cinematographica

Michael Rennie aegrotabat

Hac Die Orbus Torpidus Fuit

Sed ad nos dixit fuerit quid

Et Flash Gordon adest

Gerit lumbare argenti

Claude Rains fuit Homo Invisibilis

Tunc nescioquid pravus fit

Cum Fay Wray King Kongque

In tribulatione cinemae perdunt

Nunc, celer ut raeda solum

Venit ab astris caelorum

Et verba eius sic fuerant…

Fabulosa cinematographica

Medicus insanus bestiam faciet

Videte monstra pugnare Brad et Nancy

Ann Francis est in Forbidden Planet

Videamus cinematographica in theatro!

Scio Leo G. Caroll

saltet trans amphoram

Interim Tarantula ad colles currit

Et mihi valde placet

ut Jeanette Scott

Pugnet bestiae quae toxica sputat

Dana Andrews dixit fici

dederit sibi haec verba

Et ficos eius curavit

"Ubi orbes concident"

inquit George Pal ab uxore,

"Da tibi voluptas magnas!"

Ecce…

Fabulosa cinematographica

(etc, etc)

Cupio ire…

Ad theatro cinemagraphica

Nocte atre

Ad theatrum cinemagraphica

eamus et videamus

Ad theatrum cinemagraphica

Ad theatrum cinemagraphica
