In order to get to Japan, Splinter and the turtles had to hitch a ride. Donatello found an airplane that was set for Japan right near where his sensei said they were heading. They stowed away on the landing platform and waited at the cargo hold until they arrived in Splinter's home country.

As soon as the plane touched ground, the mutants sneaked themselves out of the runway without anyone even noticing. The turtles then followed their father's lead and brushed through the forest. They managed to avoid detection and crowds. Splinter stopped his sons right when they were next to a large school.

"That's the school we need to go to?" Raph asked. "No offense, sensei, but this looks like any generic high school that I've seen on anime."

"Not everything is as it appears, Raphael." Splinter said. "Now, everyone, cloak yourselves."

The turtles reached into their bags and covered themselves with hooded covers that completely concealed their own bodies. Splinter covered himself the same way. He then lead the turtles to the back of the school to a less populated area. No one and nothing in sight save for a quiet-looking part of the school.

Donatello looked at the sign on the building. Thankfully, his father was Japanese, so he managed to read a bit. "The sign says this place is off limits. Something about history."

"Remember what I just said about appearances, Donatello?" Splinter asked. He slid a door opened and placed one foot inside.

Suddenly, the entire inside of the school was flashing red and a loud alarm echoed through. The turtles seemed startled, but Splinter only smiled.

"Sensei, what's going on?" Leo asked. "We're gonna get caught!"

"Is this about how I flooded the bathroom and I mistook your cheese for a sponge?" Mikey asked.

"You did what?" Splinter asked.

"Excuse me." A familiar voice said from behind them. The turtles and Splinter turned around to see the middle-aged, Japanese man while trying not to reveal their faces. "I don't know who you are, but you don't belong here."

"Oh, my apologies." Splinter said. "It's just… I used to go here."

"You did?" the Japanese man asked.

"Yes. In fact, I was your upperclassman, Kiriya. Remember that one time when we were balancing on pillars, I stood on one hand, clapped my feet together like hands, and you chuckled so you accidently fell?"

The man called Kiriya widened his eyes. "Yoshi, is that you? I… I thought you were dead."

"The truth is… actually complicated." Splinter said. "I've been hiding out for the past decade and a half. The reason I came back is because one of your students may have seen mine in America."

"You mean Asuka?" Kiriya asked. "Wait, since when do you have students? And why not enroll them here in Hanzo Academy?"

"That's… difficult." Splinter said. "It might be easier to explain inside if you don't mind."

Kiriya nodded. "Follow me." He walked past the five. Underneath their hoods, the turtles were dumbfounded.

"Sensei, you know that guy?" Leo asked.

"You used to go to school here?" Donnie asked.

"Do they have any embarrassing yearbook photos?" Mikey asked.

"Yes, yes, and if you look at those, you're grounded." Splinter answered. "Let's just go in and all will be explained."

Inside, Splinter and the turtles sat in the middle of a wooden room with traditional Japanese furniture. They still haven't removed their robes when Kiriya approached them.

"Okay, I've summoned my students here because you said you wanted to clear up any misunderstandings." He said. "We go way back, Yoshi, and I hope everything's all right."

"Speaking of understanding," Raph said, "Father, what's happening here?"

"Father?" Kiriya asked.

"Yes, these four are my sons." Splinter said. "I've also been teaching them everything I know about the art of ninja. And as for your question, Raphael, the truth about this school is known only to a few. Sure, Hanzo Academy is an ordinary high school for some, but for a few of its students, there's a special, secret course. This school teaches the art of ninja and shinobi."

"A high school for young ninja?" Leo asked. "That's awesome."

"Yes, and I used to attend this school in my younger days." Splinter said. "As the heir to the head of the Hamato Clan, I had to attend here."

The story stopped when the door opened. Five girls followed out. One was a blonde, very busty girl with a white dress shirt that's slightly open in the middle. There was also a black-haired girl with a traditional school uniform carrying a sword. After that was a girl with silver pigtails and an eyepatch on her face. She had an umbrella at her hip. Behind her was an innocent looking, pink-haired girl wearing a wool jacket. Lastly was a girl the turtles instantly recognized.

"It's her!" Raph shouted. "That girl we saw in New York!"

"New York?" the girl asked. "So I was being watched!"

"Asuka, calm down." Kiriya said. "These people are friendly."

"What were you doing overseas in the first place?" Leo asked.

"I was on a training exam." Asuka said. "Who are you guys?"

"Everyone, sit down." Kiriya said. The girls followed their sensei's command. "Now, the man in the middle here is an old friend of mine, Hamato Yoshi. He was a student here in Hanzo Academy who disappeared about fifteen years ago."

"After graduating, I returned to my clan." Splinter said. "Although, an event occurred and I had to retreat to America. Circumstances eventually lead me into the sewers of New York City. There, I found something strange: a broken cylindrical canister with a glowing, green puddle of liquid leaking out of it. Four baby turtles were swimming around in it. They came to me as I rested in the sewers, and when I woke up, something strange began to happen. It seems that the green ooze that we were exposed to left me and the turtles in an… unusual state. Boys, remove your cloaks."

The turtles agreed and slowly removed their hoods. Splinter did the same. The girls and Kiriya widened their eyes clearly surprised at the mutated figures before them.

"Yoshi?" Kiriya asked.

"Actually, these days, I go by Splinter. Whatever that ooze did, it changed me into a giant rat. As for the turtles, not only did it slowly grow them, they started to learn and within weeks, they developed words of their own."

"Can you believe my first word was 'pizza'?" Mikey asked.

"Mikey, don't interrupt the story." Leo said. "We're getting to the good part."

"As the turtles grew, I became fond of them, and started raising them like I was their own father." Splinter continued. "But like any father, I feared for their safety. If they were to leave the sewers and go out into the world, the humans would fear them, cage them, or worse. I didn't want that, but I knew I couldn't keep them underground forever. So I did the only thing I could do to prepare them: I trained them in the art of ninja and shinobi, to lurk in the shadows and live in invisibility. That's what we've ben doing for the past fifteen years."

"So let me get this straight." The blonde girl said. "You four are ninja… mutant… turtle… teenagers?"

"Well, when you put it like that, it sounds ridiculous." Donnie said.

"They are my sons, and I have named them after the greatest minds in the Renaissance era." Splinter said.

"I'm Leonardo."

"I'm Michelangelo."

"I'm Donatello."

"I'm Raphael."

"Yeah," Mikey said, "All the good ones end with an 'o'." Raph got irritated, but the pink-haired girl giggled cutely at that.

"That's some story." Said the girl with the sword. "So why are you here?"

"When my sons got detected by Asuka, it left us in a compromising situation." Splinter said. "I believed that if she reported this to the Hanzo Academy faculty, they would send a search party to New York to investigate. And if they found us, they would get the wrong idea. I believed the best action for us would be to go to Hanzo ourselves and come clean before it was too late."

"I see." Kiriya said. "Well, it's a good thing you came here when you did. I was just about to talk to my superiors. Now that I know it's you, old friend, I know now that we are safe as can be. Of course, I will have to tell my superiors either way."

"As long as you can convince them we're not a threat, I don't mind." Splinter said.

"Um, excuse me," Asuka said, "Since you just came to tell us that, does this mean you'll be heading home now?"

"Well, that was the plan," Splinter said, "But now that I'm here, I'm feeling a little nostalgic."

"You mean we get to stay?" Leo asked.

"Just for a few days." Splinter said. "What do you say, Kiriya?"

"I honestly don't mind. We can spare a few guest bedrooms.

"Awesome!" the blonde cheered. "I'd really like to know how a bunch of giant turtle ninja fight!"

"Perhaps we should introduce ourselves." Asuka said. "I'm Asuka. The girl with the sword is our class representative, Ikaruga. The girl with the umbrella is Yagyuu. The happy girl is Hibari. And the girl that just challenged you is Katsuragi."

"You really like fighting, huh?" Raph asked.

"You bet. Almost as I like these babies!" Katsuragi quickly got behind Asuka and gripped onto her breasts from behind. The turtles stared in surprise while Asuka yelled in embarrassment.

"AH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

"What?" Katsuragi asked with a big smile on her face. "I'm just giving the boys some entertainment."

"Will the two of you just give it a rest, already?" Ikaruga asked. "We have guests, so behave, Katsuragi."

"Oh, don't be a spoilsport, Ikaruga."

"Wow!" Hibari exclaimed excitedly. "Giant talking animals wearing clothes! Yagyuu, isn't that amazing?"

"As long as they don't hurt you, Hibari, they'll be safe."

"Donnie."

"Yeah, Mikey?"

"I think we're in heaven."

Seeing the girls in their antics, Splinter buried his face in one of his hands. "Are they always like this?"

"Basically." Kiriya answered. "Don't worry. At the end of the day, they're pretty okay students. They're improving slowly, but they're improving nonetheless. And hey, you get to show your kids how they trained shinobi like us."

Splinter grinned. "Yeah. That would be good."

Later that night, in the heart of the city, five girls stood on the roof of a skyscraper. They were ninja, but they weren't the same girls with the turtles. They were different.

"So it's agreed."

"Yep. We start tomorrow. My dolls will be ready."

"Those goodie-goodie ninja will never forget us."

"As long as it doesn't get in my way for my bean sprout break."

"Maybe this will finally get me to feel something."

"Excellent. Just wait, Hanzo Academy girls. Everything changes for you tomorrow."

Author's Note: Now, the turtles have met up with the Hanzo girls. If anyone has any ship ideas, I'd love to hear them.

Any and all comments are welcome.
