"You can't be serious!" Raph shouted. He angrily paced around the shinobi lounge while everyone watched his rant. "Right, Leo?"
"I'm sorry, Raph, but we can't just go around the city." Leo said.
"But there's someone out there messing with us!" Raph argued. "We gotta find these evil shinobi and teach them a lesson!"
"And where do you suggest we look?" Leo asked. "We don't know where these evil shinobi are based, and we don't know what they're capable of. We need to keep our heads down until we know more and train more."
"Ohh, so that's the plan from our great leader." Raph mocked. "Just sit here on our butts!"
"I never said I was a great leader."
"Well, you sure act like it sometimes!"
"Yeah? Well, you act like a jerk sometimes! You need to control your attitude and think this through!"
"You know what? I'll just take my attitude and leave!"
Raph opened the door and left the room. Leo grunted while everyone else stared awkwardly.
"Um… are those two always like that?" Ikaruga asked.
"Nah. This is one of their most mild arguments yet." Donnie said. "Back at New York, he and Leo would always butt heads about how to train, where to go during patrols, whether or not to follow Splinter's instructions…"
"Yeah." Mikey agreed. "Raph's just going out to blow some steam, and when he feels better, he'll just come back."
Katsuragi shrugged before standing back up. "Well, guess I gotta go pick him up."
"I'm not sure that's a good idea." Asuka advised. "Raph seemed pretty upset."
"Trust me. I can handle that bonehead." Katsuragi left the room following Raph. Asuka then approached Leo talking to him from outside of everyone's earshot.
"Well, since all that's somewhat settled," Ikaruga said, "Donatello, do you have your costume ready?"
"Almost. It just needs a few minor touches, but it should be ready before it's time." Donnie said. "I'll see you at the slums." He and Ikaruga left the room. All that were left were Mikey, Yagyu, and Hibari, who is a little down.
"Is something wrong, Hibari?" Yagyu asked.
"I just hated seeing Leo and Raph fight like that." Hibari said. "I mean, they're brothers right? Shouldn't they get along?"
"It's not that bad." Mikey said. "Brothers tend to fight more often than you think. That's basically how those two show their love."
"I know, but still…" Hibari frowned.
Mikey thought for a moment, then an idea hit his head. "I know just what'll turn your frown upside down. How's about… a day to ourselves?"
"What?" Yagyu asked.
"Yeah." Mikey said. "I mean, today is supposed to be a free day for you, right? So perhaps a fun outing might be good for us."
"You really think so?" Hibari asked.
"I know so." Mikey assured. "We just need the right place to unwind."
"I may have an idea." Yagyu said. "There is a beach that's basically deserted this time of day. We could head on over there and have our fun time before anyone even arrives."
Hibari smiled and giggled. "That sounds like fun."
"Sweet! Beach party!" Mikey declared.
Once they arrived at the beach, Yagyu and Hibari made sure no one else was there. They and Mikey proceeded to the changing rooms. After a few minutes, they emerged in their swimsuits. Mikey just wore an orange pair of trunks, Yagyu had on a pink-and-white checkered bikini, and Hibari was filling out a pink bikini. Mikey and Yagyu gave the keys to the changing room over to Hibari for safekeeping.
For the next hour, the three were having fun in the sun. They listened to sea conches, laughed over lemonade, and Hibari even played a joke at Michelangelo by burying most of his body in sand and making two spheres that look like breasts.
Near the end of the hour, the three stood where the ocean would make small tides on the sand. Hibari giggled before turning her head to the ninja turtle.
"Thanks, Mikey." Hibari said. "I needed this." She quickly pecked him on the cheek before turning away.
Mikey smiled rubbing his cheek, but his happy expresseion turned to fear when he felt a dark aura right next to him. Yagyu glared at him with a terrifying presence as if she was ready to kill.
"Is this your plan all along, Michelangelo?" she asked in a threatening tone. "Are you trying to take Hibari away from me?"
Mikey was scared, so he took a step back. He whelped in fear when Yagyu followed his step. "No! No! It was just a friendly…" His eyes widened. "Hold on a pizza-holding second. Yagyu, do you… like Hibari?"
Yagyu stayed still for a moment, but then took a deep breath. Just like that, her menacing aura dissipated and Mikey didn't feel a need to fear her anymore.
"I'm sorry, Michelangelo. I guess my feelings are a little hard to control." Yagyu said. "But to answer your question… I won't deny that Hibari means more to me than anything else in the world. I guess that's because she reminds me of my sister."
"You have a sister?" Mikey asked.
"…Had a sister." Yagyu corrected with a frown. "She died in a car crash some time before my first day at Hanzo Academy. I was in utter despair over what happened. Then, came the day of the entrance ceremony. It was a rainy day, but I never noticed. I was still depressed over what happened to my sister. But then, out in the distance, I notice someone playing in the puddles. I thought for certain that it was my sister, so I ran up to greet her. Much to my surprise, it was just someone who looked like her… Hibari."
"Whoa." Mikey said. "That's a bit of a bummer."
"Not entirely." Yagyu said. "Hibari is kind and sweet like my sister, and I don't want to feel that pain again. I don't want to lose Hibari like I lost my sister. That's why I acted up a minute ago. I'm sorry."
Mikey chuckled. "No worries. Hey, at least Hibari is pretty happy now, right?"
Yagyu managed to give a smile. "Yeah. She is. Thank you for helping her with this, Michelangelo. It means a lot." She kissed his other cheek making him chuckle like an idiot. Then…
"OH, NO!"
Michelangelo and Yagyu rose up on high alert when they heard that shout.
"That was Hibari!" Yagyu exclaimed following that sound along with the orange-bandana turtle. They met up with Hibari who was nervously standing next to the changing room. "What happened?"
"It's… the keys!" Hibari answered. "They're gone!"
"What?" Mikey asked. "How?"
"I… I don't know!" Hibari said. "I know I had them on me earlier!"
"Just to clarify," Mikey said, "Since you're wearing a swimsuit, where did you keep…"
"Look!" Yagyu interrupted. She pointed at a wooden stand with lots of underwear on display. It was being operated by a woman with a black veil covering her face. "That's our underwear!"
"Hey!" Mikey yelled. "That's cruel, lady!"
"Why do you care?" Yagyu asked. "You don't wear underpants."
Suddenly, the wooden stand exploded into a brown dust cloud. And along with the underwear scattering the sand, the concealed woman jumped out along with three identical women. They surrounded the three good ninja with swords in their hands.
"They're evil ninja!" Yagyu exclaimed. "Brace yourselves!"
Both Yagyu and Hibari pulled out their ninja scrolls and yelled "Shinobi transformation!" One flash of light later, the two of them wore different outfits. Yagyu wore a long-sleeved jacket with a high collar covering her mouth. Hibari wore a pink sweater. She also had a pink, cartoonish rabbit hovering next to her.
"Whoa!" Mikey gasped. "Where'd Bugs Bunny come from?"
"Oh, you mean my bunny?" Hibari asked. "He's my summon. You see, I…"
"We can talk about it later!" Yagyu interrupted. "We've got evil ninja to stop!"
When the battle began, Yagyu defeated one very easily with one strong gust of wind from her umbrella. She turned and saw Hibari frightened by the evil shinobi approaching her. She fell to her knees and whimpered uncertain on what to do next. That's when Yagyu jumped in and took care of the evil shinobi quickly for her. The last two surrounded Mikey. They struck, but he kept dodging them with movements similar to breakdancing. After spinning on his shell, he jumped back up with his nunchucks in his hands.
"Stop! Mikey time!"
Michelangelo swung his nunchucks at the two shinobi and knocked them out instantly. With all four shinobi girls taken care of, the three good ones who were left regrouped.
"Glad that's taken care of." Yagyu said. But then, she noticed a frown on Hibari's face. "Is something wrong, Hibari?"
"It's just… I'm sorry." She whimpered. "This happened because of me. One of those evil ninja must have run past me and swiped the keys. I should have been more aware. You all must be really mad at me."
"Why?" Michelangelo asked. "It wasn't your fault. Those jerks were the ones who wanted to do an evil panty raid."
"I think what Michelangelo is trying to say is, we don't blame you at all, Hibari." Yagyu said. "You made a mistake, but that's okay. At least we dealt with the problem before it went out of hand."
Hibari sniffed before sneaking a little smile. "You really think so?"
"Yeah." Mikey said. "Don't worry about it."
"Oh, come on."
That last voice didn't belong to either of them. They turned to see two girls. One was a fancy-looking girl with a pink, revealing outfit with golden outlines. The other was a short girl with black hair and a black dress. Like Yagyu, she had an umbrella in her hand and wore an eyepatch.
"Dearie, me. You really aren't mad at her?" the fancy girl asked. "Then why did I unleash those puppets?"
"Puppets?" Yagyu asked looking at the evil shinobi they just fought. "So you're the puppet master."
"I prefer Haruka or Mistress Haruka. I know for certainty that one of you will call me the latter soon." He shifted her eyes toward Hibari, who had shivers down her spine. "I thought for certain that you'd blame her for losing your keys, you'd grow apart, and she'd be vulnerable enough for me to take and turn into my newest doll."
"That's some fetish you've got." Michelangelo said.
"Hey!" shouted the girl in the black dress. "Don't forget about me! The name's Mirai, and you…" She pointed at Yagyu. "I've chosen you to be my victim!"
Yagyu pointed her eyes at Mirai before turning back to Haruka. "I won't let you lay a finger on Hibari, Haruka."
"HEY! DON'T IGNORE ME!" Mirai shouted. "I'M TRYING TO KILL YOU!"
"Michelangelo," Yagyu said, "I'm trusting you to deal with the girl. I'll take Haruka."
"Whatever you say." Mikey said.
"What?!" Mirai shouted. "I outed that pig-tailed witch as my next victim, and instead, she pits me against one of the turtle freaks?"
"Well, you do kinda deserve it for stealing all that underwear." Mikey said.
"That was Mistress Haruka's plan, not mine!" Mirai shouted. "If anything, your girlfriends should be happy. What she did is a kindness compared to what she usually does. We could retract that kindness if you wish, but then, who's the villain?"
Mikey raised an eyebrow. "You."
"No, that's a rhetorical question."
"And I gave you a rhetorical answer."
Mirai widened her one eye. "Something tells me you're the 'special' turtle, aren't you?"
"Can we fight now?" Michelangelo asked.
"Son of a… YES!" Mirai shouted. She opened her black umbrella and shot black beams out of it. Mikey jumped and dodged it. He tried to attack, but Mirai always stepped back to get him from a distance.
Yagyu blasted her gusts of wind, but Haruka blocked it with a floating automaton she had with chainsaw limbs. Yagyu managed to get some hits in, but Haruka always managed to get back up.
"How?" Yagyu asked. "How do you always get back up?"
"Well, I guess Hebijo Academy aren't as green as you Hanzo weaklings." Haruka said. "Still, it doesn't mean it's short on cute girls."
"You stay away from Hibari!" Yagyu commanded.
Meanwhile, Mirai managed to blast Mikey right through the changing room wall. She followed through the door and approached Mikey who was lying on his shell.
"And now, you're turtle soup," Mirai said, "High in vitamin dummy."
Mikey chuckled. "Sorry. I just can't take you seriously enough with how adorable you look."
Mirai's face became red and she shouted. "Hey! Stop treating me like a kid! I'm tired of everyone saying I shouldn't be taken seriously, that I should just be ignored!" She pointed her umbrella. "As soon as I rip your shell right from your body, everyone will know I am dead serious!"
"Wait!" Mikey protested. "You don't want to do that!"
"Oh, really?" Mirai asked. "And why not?"
"Because we're indoors." Mikey said. "You can't open your umbrella indoors. It's bad luck."
Mirai stayed silent for a second with her one good eye twitching. "I'm going to enjoy this far more than I should."
"Oh, Mirai!" Haruka shouted from outdoors. The taller Hebijo ninja stood across from the frightened Hibari and the exhausted Yagyu. "We're done here! It's time to go!"
"What?" Mirai asked. "But Mistress Haruka…"
"Orders are orders." Haruka said. "Besides, we've clearly proven we're stronger than these people. So let's savor it until the day we settle this. And trust me, it will make everything much more rewarding." She licked her lips as Mirai sighed.
"Fine. I'll go." Mirai said. She turned back to Michelangelo. "Just remember this, turtle. The next time I see you, you're going to be all mine…" She blushed. "To kill, I mean! You're mine to kill! SHUT UP!"
Both evil ninja disappeared from the beach leaving the three good ones exhausted.
"Uh, dudettes, what just happened?" Mikey asked.
"I don't know." Yagyu said. "Let's just report this back to Master Kiriya and the others."
Hibari followed behind them with a frown on her face. She felt horrible for not being able to do anything. Just then, something caught her attention. A mechanical whimper entered her ears and her eyes caught the sight of moving wood from the destroyed stand. She slowly approached the rubble and removed the broken boards until she found something. She gasped and picked it up.
"What do we have here?" she asked. "Where did you come from? Maybe the others will know."
In her hands, she held a small, metal creature. It had a small body with only two legs and no arms. It also had a head as big as the rest of its body. Its mouth was like a small baby T-Rex's and it displayed a red light where its eyes should be.
When they all returned to the lounge, the turtles and the girls met up behind the couch. They all had disturbed looks on their faces as they all said the same thing at the same time.
"You will not believe what happened! We got attacked! Wait, you got attacked? I got attacked too! Wait, what?"
"Okay, everyone, stop!" Leo shouted. "Now, it seems we all have stories. So let's take it from the top…"
Author's Note: And that's three stories down and one to go. You can probably guess who's left and who they're going to be facing. Next up, Leonardo and Asuka will have an enjoyable time together that, like the others, will be interrupted by an evil ninja declaring war. I'm personally looking forward to writing it. Lastly, in case I wasn't descriptive enough, what Hibari found was a MOUSER.
Any and all comments are welcome.
