Cave bathing

For awhile both the Lioness and the green haired woman stayed closed together as they watched the sun slowly dim in the distance from the safety of the cave. The Jungle around became darker by minute. The Soft roars of distant dinosaurs ventured into the cave. Nature was carrying on through the sunset. Vikki remained close to Bathsheba with the furry arms of the woman wrapped over her shoulder.

Vikki had to admit being so close to the woman she helped made her feel rather safe. Already she had helped her numerous times and safeguarded her. Just a short time ago Vikki was alone for many days. Searching aimlessly for a portal to take her back to her dimension with only herself. If it wasn't for Bathsheba she would still be wondering lost and without direction, if not having someone to watch her back.

The Sub-Humans they encountered certainly would have killed Vikki if she encountered them beforehand. She would have assumed they were human and sought their help only to be captured if not killed. This Dimension was far more dangerous than she first anticipated. Fighting off a Pterodactyl and fleeing from a T-Rex was merely the tip of the iceberg.

Thinking back to all that she had gone through the past days it made Vikki worry. Even though she had a companion now it still concerned her that she still may not make it back. By now her father and boyfriend certainly knew she was missing and had sent out search parties. But she had left nothing to show where she had gone before she was captured and banished. Her one poor choice had cost her so much. Granted she still was alive the only bit of mercy her enemy had given her, but the horrid thought lingered in her mind. Would she ever be able to escape? She was holding onto hope, but it was dim as a lit match.

Bathsheba could feel Vikki began to shake. Looking at her the woman had a distrait look. Her mind was somewhere else. Gently rubbing her shoulder Vikki turned her attention back to her.

"What is on your mind, love?" Bathsheba asked gently.

"I am thinking of those that know I'm gone. My father and the one I love. Knowing there is nothing they can do on their end. I know they will try but ultimately they won't be able to find me." Vikki explained leaning into the embrace of the lioness pricking up her ears to listen more to Vikki's confession. "The Only portal that I was brought to here was destroyed. I left nothing to indicate where I was going beforehand. I was angry with both my Father and Boyfriend. My Father treating me like I was a helpless child. My Boyfriend agreeing with him even after I helped save him when he was pinned down in a battle I snuck to when I realized he was in trouble. Then as the idiot I am I was given an anonymous package with a promise, and I took the bait. I do say I deserve for what happened to me, but they don't. I take back everything I said. But I am afraid I won't get that chance." Vikki's eyes began to tear up. If she wasn't so foolhardy and headstrong none of this would have come to be.

Bathsheba cooed pitifully taking her hand and brushed Vikki's cheeks. "There now, love. You're not an idiot. We all make foolish mistakes in our lives. But its not our mistakes that make us who we are its what we do to correct them and to make sure we never make the same ones again. Your determination to get back to your home is admirable. It doesn't matter what you said or done to those close to you. The way you talk about them proves how much they mean to you. You will see them again as I know I will see my son too." She smiled making the green haired woman smile back.

"Thanks Bathsheba. You really know how to cheer a girl up." Vikki thanked and the lioness embraced her more holding Vikki close to her fur that made her feel so warm and rather tingly.

"I would do anything for my companions. You've already proven capable and a bit tenacious. You have a kind heart about you. Even in this world that's hard to come by." Bathsheba said looking past Vikki to see the jungle was nearly pitch black. The Closest tree was nearly impossible to see.

"Come." The Lioness rose to her feet and helped Vikki to hers. "Its nearly dark I'll make a torch and let us head deeper into the cave. Can you fetch me a long branch and a few sticks, dear?" Vikki nodded and stepped out of the cave carefully.

Going to the nearest tree she quickly but quietly began plucking small and loose branches. It was the evening now and if she understood predators usually the night would be the best time to hunt. When most creatures would be asleep. It was rather nerve-racking for her. Remembering the moment when a T-Rex stalked her in the shelter she made and only escaped it by the mere skin of her teeth. It made Vikki shudder. Bridgette's taunts spewed through her mind like a bullet. This realm was survival of the fittest. Exiled just to die in it. She has come so close to death on occasion now that Vikki never again wanted to leave her home again. If she was to report on war stories or a new advancement for weaponry or living use she would take a boring report over sneaking off to battles or hidden caves ever again.

The Ground shook slightly and what sounded like thunder pounding on the earth at her feet. She gasped realizing what that had to becoming from. There were many dinosaurs with feet that could make the earth shake but if it belonged to one specific carnivore she wasn't going to temp fate again. Holding over a dozen short sticks and branches under her arm and holding a long thick one she hastily headed back into the cave where Bathsheba awaited her.

"You alright?" She asked taking the long branch from Vikki when it was handed to her.

"Yes." Vikki sighed in relief. "Not sure I would like to be out there in the dark." Bathsheba nodded in agreement.

"Indeed. When night falls its very dangerous. You must be either behind thick and well-guarded walls or be higher than the carnivorous reptiles can snatch you. The Dragonhawks that soar the skies usually leave most alone but if they spot you and if their stomachs are empty or have a nest of younglings in need of food they won't hesitate to snatch you in their claws. If you are to remain high then you must keep yourself covered." Bathsheba explained taking a couple of stones of the floor striking them together making them spark at the top of the branch allowing it to light a small fire upon the tip.

Vikki nodded understandably. "After an encounter I had with what you call a Dragonhawk I will keep that noted."

"Good girl. Come along that's head deeper in the cave and find that river. We both can use something to fill our stomachs and looking at the blood that's covering much of your skin you need a cleanse." Bathsheba pointed out making looking over herself. On her stomach, hands and arms there were many dried blood stains from the Sub-Human they killed together. It was rather sad when she thought about it. The Sub-Humans were once normal people and changed into monsters with no way to return them back to their original state. A Fate worse than death. Its like their souls were taken out and replaced with something vile. How could anyone think of doing that to another person? The Evils Vikki had encountered never cease to surprise her on just how far anyone would go for their own devilish purposes. It was envy and greed that caused her to be exiled to this dimension and it's a lust for power that seemed to drive the one who created the sub-humans.

Bathsheba held the burning torch high allowing the light that came off from it to light the cave while she picked up her spear with her other hand. Vikki draped her bow and quiver of arrows to her and carried the rest of the sticks she had gathered and followed Bathsheba.

The Cave was narrow. Stalactites and stalagmites were all over. It seemed nothing but a few bats lived in it. Their squeaks and cries startled Vikki for a moment and some bats suddenly swooped down nearly brushing the top of her head from the light of the torch that lit up the cave. With the source of light bothering them all the bats flew out of the cave leaving the two new dwellers alone to Vikki's relieve.

"I hate those wretched rats with wings." Vikki shuddered.

"I agree. There are such a nuisance, and their droppings leave the foulest of smells." Bathsheba sniffed around and smiled. "Thankfully those rodents have not roosted here for long."

"That's a relief." Vikki said as she could hear the faint sound of flowing water and the sound of splashing. "I think we're close!"

Bathsheba nodded as they came around another sharp turn and to the Felidae's surprise they found what they were seeking. "And we are, love!" Smiling she went to the rocky wall and found a place to lodge the burning torch that still shown brightly.

Vikki was surprised to find a pond with a small waterfall spilling upon the pond itself. The Torches light made the pond shine and sparkle. The Water was clear, and it was flowing out of a creek that led to a part of the cave where the two could not move through it.

The Green haired woman frowned at the sight when she set down her weapons and sticks piling them up and placed a few lingering stones around them.

"I guess we cannot count on that pond having any fish. Guess we will starve ourselves tonight." She moaned irritably. Bathsheba came over to Vikki giving her a kind smile.

"Don't worry, love. Tomorrow we shall go hunting together. There is much out there that we can hunt and take for ourselves. What we lack together we will make up for in the morning." She assured wrapping her arms around Vikki's right arm. "Come let's get you all cleaned up."

Vikki blushed as the lioness's hands held her rather tenderly. She was rather nervous the way that Bathsheba had her wrapped leading her towards the pond.

The Lioness chuckled feeling how tense Vikki was. "Please calm yourself. Do you believe I have any intention to do you harm?" She asked mockingly.

"N..no…it's just that..." Vikki nervously stuttered as she was led to the pond. Bathsheba stepped in and she pulled Vikki into the cool waters that made her wince from the sudden chill, but she relaxed.

"Relax love. Allow me to help you. You did well today, and you should be clean. I am not going to do anything nefarious, I promise you." Bathsheba grinned moving behind the woman and gently pushed her deeper into the pond that went up to both their knee's. Vikki soon found herself standing under the waterfall that began to wash off the blood that remained upon her.

She moaned as the soft cool water poured over her like she was standing within a shower back home. "Stay still." Bathsheba cooed beginning to rub her paws over Vikki's body. Her hands gently rubbed the spots where the blood still remained.

The Green haired woman blushed deeply feeling the lioness's hands wander over her. She was respectful and avoided the areas that were covering in the little bit of clothing that Vikki still wore but the way the Lioness felt her made shudder in slight delight. There was only one person who ever would touch her in the ways like that.

Vikki remained standing under the waterfall as Bathsheba rubbed her shoulders gently and carefully helping the blood dissolve and wash off them. She worked upon her arms next twisting her hands over the smooth skin of Vikki helping them get washed.

Moving down her back moving passed the top that covered her chest she worked on Vikki's middle brushing her hands over smooth section then to more of, Vikki's embarrassment she caressed her hands over her middle moving across her belly making her unintentionally giggle.

Bathsheba laughed as she tickled Vikki's belly for a moment. "Hey, stop that!" Vikki laughed wincing at the fiddling of the lioness's fingers across her belly.

"It was the only way to make you smile, love. I know your liking this. Its good to feel clean after such a hard day. Don't you think?" Bathsheba asked moving her head around, Vikki's right side giving her a teasing look.

Vikki couldn't help it but nod. "Your right. Its been very difficult and to be honest with you. I am very glad I met you, Bathsheba. If it wasn't for you I still be wandering about and at the mercy of both the predators and those sub-humans. Perhaps by now Id be dead if it wasn't for your direction and your safeguarding of me."

Bathsheba walked around to Vikki's front taking hold of her arms looking at her in the eyes with caring eyes while the waterfall began to fall on her as well. "And if it wasn't for you, Vikki I would have been overwhelmed and devoured and my son would be an orphan. You've done a great service and you have my thanks. To take you somewhere safe and to help you find the answers you seek is not even the least I can do. She pulled Vikki into her and hugged her. The Foreign woman may not be of this place, but she has earned her trust and faith. Lost and alone she needs someone to look out for her and for what she had done, Bathsheba couldn't be more grateful.

Vikki returned the hug holding the Lioness close as the waterfall began to cleanse them both. Bathsheba was the best thing to happen to her being exiled. She was very glad that her instincts to protect those in need were right. It was a gamble to help her against the attacking raptors. She could have easily killed her if she were wrong, but she was glad she made the right call.

After a moment the two slowly released each other and Bathsheba looked, Vikki over. "Your good and clean now, love. Would you like to help me too?" asked Bathsheba.

Vikki's face flushed red. To touch someone in the way that her friend had done to her. Could she really do that?

The Lioness giggled gently taking hold of Vikki's chin. "Don't be ashamed, Vikki. Its perfectly alright. You trusted me to cleanse you. I trust you as well. Do what you can for me." She patted Vikki's cheeks kindly still grinning over the reddened cheeks of, Vikki.

The Human took Bathsheba's hands and pulled her more under the waterfall until she was the only one standing under it. Following the same routine that Bathsheba did for her, Vikki started with her shoulders. Rubbing them until her fur shown no dust or grind and any blood that was left on her. She moved to her arms with, Bathsheba standing in place with her eyes closed with a soft purr escaping her lips. She was enjoying the woman's attention making sure she was getting good and clean.

Vikki was respectful avoiding touching her in places that were inappropriate, but the lioness only smiled when she came close. Vikki was a friend and if she had to touch her in a part that was covered she wouldn't mind it. She was taller and her fur made it slightly more difficult to clean than mere skin but, Vikki kept up her work.

The Woman worked her way down to Bathsheba's middle brushing her soft hands through the furred body of Bathsheba. She blushed again when she heard more of the lioness's purring. It seemed she was enjoying this greatly. Vikki would have never imagined in her life she would be helping a lion woman take a shower in a cave. Thankful that they both didn't have to discard their clothing for it, or it would have been much more awkward than it already was.

After finishing with her mid-section Vikki kneeled down into the water and began to rub Bathsheba's legs. A lot of dirt came off from her legs from all the walking they had done in the days. They were furry yet firm and hard filled with muscle just like the rest of the Felidae woman. Bathsheba was strong and ferocious yet had a compassionate heart in her. Truly, Vikki was happy to come across her and to help her get clean was another curiosity she was glad to do for her.

"Do you feel better now?" Vikki asked rising back up.

Bathsheba moaned looking herself over not finding a single part of her missed. Any dirt and blood was gone, and her fur was wet and smooth. Even with Vikki's rather cute nervousness she did a great job.

"Yes. Thank you, love. Your very good at cleaning someone off. I would dare say I'm not the only one you helped cleanse." Teased Bathsheba giving Vikki's chin tickle making her the woman move her hand away with playful slap.

"Hey! Maybe I did or not." Vikki shrugged still red in the face. She couldn't lie as there was sometimes when her boyfriend came home from a long battle and when had thrown off his armor and weapons and was riddled with filth he sustained from the heavy fighting there was only one way to get him clean and to show how much they both missed each other.

Chuckling some more Bathsheba stepped out of the pond taking the torch from the wall and took it to the fire pit that Vikki made. She set the torch down on the pile of sticks and they went ablaze in seconds.

"Come sit with me, Vikki. Let's dry ourselves and get some sleep. If we are going to hunt in the morning we will need our rest." Bathsheba called over to Vikki who stepped out of the pond dripping wet with her arms out.

Vikki went over to the lioness and Bathsheba pulled her into her lap wrapping her arms around her. Though it was rather awkward for the woman she leaned into her friend and allowed their collective bodies and the warmth of the fire that was made in front of them helped dry them up.

Feeling tremendously grateful to the one who has helped her so much, Vikki shut her eyes and held her friends arms. "Thank you." She whispered feeling rather tired.

Bathsheba purred putting her head on, Vikki's left shoulder. "You're welcome. Rest well, Vikki." Purred the lioness as they sat together until their bodies became good and dry with the sparks of the fire starting to fade out by the time Vikki fell asleep in, Bathsheba's hold and soon after the lioness fell asleep with her arms wrapped protectively around her dear friend.
