Elsewhere, Obi-Wan was with his fiancé Satine. The two of them, while Obi-Wan was on a break from battle, he and Satine were now going over some things for their wedding. It was to be a wonderful occasion.
Three years ago, Obi-Wan would never have guessed that he would be here today planning his wedding. His wedding. A couple years back, he was the best man for his best friend's wedding after the Jedi Code was changed. Now, he was going to have a whole different role at the second Jedi wedding in history: the groom. And this would also be the first royal wedding between one of the Jedi Council's most respected members and a duchess from the peaceful world of Mandalore.
"I think lilies would be a wonderful choice, don't you agree, Obi?" Satine sighed, holding a beautiful white lily.
"It is lovely." Obi-Wan smiled, looking at the flower between himself and his bride-to-be. "But how could I ever compare this mere flower to the most beautiful flower in the Galaxy who stands before me now?"
Satine and Obi-Wan kissed each other passionately.
The two of them got to spend a lot more time together since Bo-Katan started leading the fight to restrain the remains of Death Watch. According to her latest report, they were making some steady progress, and they should be able to get married before the end of the year.
Korkie, however, was pretty nervous about everything. He was going to have a new uncle very soon, and he and his aunt were stuck living in hiding at the Temple until Death Watch was stopped for good. He wished he could've joined Bo-Katan in the fight, but both his aunts wanted to keep him safe as well.
"I don't know how long it will be until Mandalore is safe again," said Obi-Wan. "But I will always keep you safe, my love."
"I love you, Obi-Wan."
"I love you too." And Obi-Wan kissed his love once more.
"Oh, come on!" shouted a voice from outside.
"Give it up, Wrecker." Gabby said. "You can't beat him."
Obi-Wan and Satine soon found the source of the noise and saw Qui-Gon and Wrecker picking up a long rope with the two of them on opposite sides of a bunch of bean bag chairs and pillows.
"What is going on here?" Satine asked.
"Wrecker wants to show that he's the strongest," said Carousella.
"So, he and Grandpa are playing games of strength." Gabby added.
Remix stood in a black and white striped shirt as the referee.
"Alright, men. On my count." Remix said as the two men grabbed opposite ends of the rope. "One... two..."
And he blew the whistle.
Wrecker began pulling while Qui-Gon simply held his end of the rope and stood in place as the Batcher struggled.
"Master..." Obi-Wan shook his head, looking at Qui-Gon like he did Anakin when he did something immature.
"We're just having a little fun." Qui-Gon chuckled, and he tugged the rope with one hand, pulling Wrecker into the soft pile between them.
Remix blew his whistle again. "Qui-Gon remains champ!"
"Hey, no fair! You cheated!" Wrecker whined.
"I never cheat." Qui-Gon said.
"Again!"
"Wrecker, you've done this eight times already." Carousella said. "You're never gonna beat his super strength."
Wrecker then went to a table. "Arm wrestling next!"
"Wrecker, I don't want to hurt you." Qui-Gon said.
"Come on! I dare ya!"
Qui-Gon rolled his eyes and held hands with Wrecker.
"On three."
"Three!" Wrecker exclaimed, and Qui-Gon had his hand hit the table, accidentally smashing it and injuring Wrecker's hand.
"You hurt me!" Wrecker whined, sounding like he was trying not to cry.
"Hold still, Wrecker," Gabby said, taking Wrecker's hurt hand very carefully and kissing it, healing it in mere seconds.
"And that is why you should never challenge a super strength Enchanted to arm wrestling," Carousella said.
"I bet I can lift more than you!" Wrecker said, getting right back to competing, and he picked up Carousella in one hand and Boba in the opposite arm.
"Okay! Put me down before I bite your ear off!" Carousella snorted. And Wrecker quickly put her down and Carousella almost nipped his ear.
"Wrecker, enough competing," Qui-Gon said, picking up his granddaughter.
"And put me down too." Boba said, not amused by being held like he was a toddler.
Wrecker reluctantly set Boba down.
"Besides, one horse and a child is nothing." Qui-Gon said, and conveniently, Sapphire came by with Anakin. "Watch this."
Qui-Gon had Anakin get on Sapphire and he lifted her with one hand, Anakin holding onto Sapphire to avoid falling.
"Now I really see the resemblance between you two." Obi-Wan chuckled, referring to the need to show off.
Anakin jumped down while Qui-Gon set the large pegasus down.
"I was only coming here to see how wedding plans were going." Anakin said, brushing himself off. "And then I come to see my father acting like a child."
"Wrecker was the one being a child." Gabby said. "And that's coming from a child."
Anakin chuckled. "So, how are plans going?"
"We've already made progress with deciding on the flowers." said Obi-Wan. "The only thing we're truly lacking is setting a date."
"Of all things to make planning a wedding difficult." Carousella sighed, shaking her head. "But hopefully right now Tech and Mila's date is going well."
That was when Bruno rushed in and bumped into the wall as he rushed like there was no tomorrow. He practically screeched to a stop when he spotted Obi-Wan and Anakin in the same place. And he would've fallen had Qui-Gon not grabbed the back of his ruana.
"Oh, gracias." Bruno sighed with slight relief.
"Whoa, Bruno! Where's the fire?" Anakin said.
"I just... had... a vision." Bruno panted, taking out his latest vision. "Your family may be in danger of losing your powers."
Qui-Gon got into contact with the EHC and asked them about the scepter they saw. It was more commonly known as the Vacuo Scepter. It was once used to drain Enchanted criminals of their magic as punishment until it was deemed too dangerous and many dark forces attempted to use it to overthrow various rulers throughout history.
"I can assure you, King Qui-Gon...," said the captain. "The Vacuo Scepter is under the utmost protection."
"We believe a Doresho Gypsy who calls herself Gray Morpha may be out to steal this very scepter." Qui-Gon said.
That caught the captain's attention.
"Your Majesty, we will do everything in our power to ensure this Gray Morpha will never reach the scepter, and that she will be found and arrested."
"Be sure that you do. Many lives may be at stake as we speak."
"Until we're sure you are safe, Your Majesty, I recommend moving your family to a safe place posthaste."
Looks like the move would have to come sooner than originally anticipated.
