Anakin soon went back to the Jedi Temple, where he sat with Master Yoda in his room, and explained his nightmares to him. His nightmares of Padme dying in childbirth, and his worry about it coming true the way it happened with his mother four years ago.

"Hmm. Most concerning, this is." Yoda said. "Had these dreams before have you?"

"Yes, Master." Anakin said. "And what was really odd was... Lamenta couldn't change them and neither could I. And they seem to come randomly. Sometimes at night, and sometimes when I just take a nap."

"Hmm. Concentrate you must. Afraid to let go, you are. However, sense a greater fear, I do."

Anakin looked down and closed his eyes. It was true. He was more afraid of how losing Padme would affect the rest of his family more than how it would affect him. Padme was Gabby and Boba's one and only mom. Gabby had known and loved Padme's adoring motherly love from the day she was born, whereas Boba grew up never knowing the beauty of a mother's love until Padme held him in her arms when she and Anakin adopted him.

"I know I've been troubled about letting go in the past." said Anakin. "and I know I'm not perfect. But Padme is the reason I kept my emotions in check in the first place. And then... our children. If anything happened to her... I don't know what I'd do. I don't know if I'd be able to raise three kids on my own, much less if the two older ones would be able to get by."

Normally, Obi-Wan wasn't one to eavesdrop, but he couldn't help listening in. He could sense the tears forming in Anakin's eyes as his sadness and fear filled the air. Now he was certain his honorary niece and goddaughter (as Anakin chose Obi-Wan as her godfather after the Code was changed) had rubbed off on him, as here he was now, standing by Master Yoda's door, listening in... until the door slid open, and he fell onto the floor.

"This... is not my room." Obi-Wan said awkwardly.

"Learned from the children to eavesdrop, you have?" Yoda chuckled, seeing Obi-Wan laying on his stomach.

"How much did you hear?" Anakin asked, wiping the tears from his cheeks.

"Everything." Obi-Wan looked at Yoda. "May I speak with my friend privately?"

Yoda nodded.

Obi-Wan took Anakin's hand and led him out to some place they could talk.

"I might not have children of my own or a wife as of yet." Obi-Wan said. "But I understand your fears, Anakin. I came close to losing the one I loved too many times to count. And some, I eventually did. I won't try to sugarcoat it... tragedy happens, and nothing can prepare you for it no matter how many times you face it."

"And this is supposed to make me feel better because...?" Anakin said.

"You aren't alone, Anakin. I worry about losing Satine every day. Now, even more. I know someday I will lose her to death, but living in fear is not the Jedi way or the right way. And Padme is a strong woman. Her will to live is as strong as your love for each other."

"And if she ends up dying anyway?"

"You won't be alone then either." Obi-Wan promised. "You have friends and family who will help you through it. Naturally, it will be hard for you and the children, but they need you now as much as we need you as well. This war is very nearly over. We just need to keep hoping."

"And find out who the Sith Lord is." Anakin finished.

Anakin thought about what Obi-Wan and his loved ones told him. He saw that they were right. The most important thing he could do now was be present for his family and be prepared for the best and worst. Padme would want him to focus on the positive and getting ready for the baby, and he had to stay strong for her, for their children, and for himself too.

Meanwhile, Ahsoka and the Enchanteds were searching through the restricted section of the Cantata College library, looking for any information they could find on Doresho Gypsies, but so far found almost nothing.

"This is muy dificil." Fiesta said. "Very difficult."

"Well, Doresho Gypsies are rare, so there isn't bound to be a ton of info." said Ginger.

"Not helping, Gin." said Dracona, picking out another book.

"Well, keep looking." Ahsoka said. "My master's family, your families, and the entire galaxy is depending on us finding an answer."

Vivian sniffed around, only succeeding in making herself sneeze from all the dust. Her little brother Avery laughed, which motivated her to smack him in the face with her tail.

"Hey!" Avery whined.

And then Avery and Vivian started wrestling each other like the wild animals they were.

"You guys!" Fantasia scolded. "Now's not the time for roughhousing!"

Ahsoka rolled her eyes. Some things just never changed about their friends no matter how much they grew up. She knew this for a fact. She'd grown up a lot since becoming Anakin's Padawan, but she never stopped being a bit of a rebel.

Vivian never stopped being the tough girl she was, Fiesta never stopped partying, Anakin never stopped showing off, and Gabby never stopped doing everything in her power to bring out the best in everyone and make people smile... or playing Tigger Tag now and then. It became a pretty effective battle tactic.

They had to win this battle. For their friends, for their family, and for future generations of the galaxy, including Anakin and Padme's soon-to-be baby.

As much as she'd rather be helping plan Padme's baby shower, defeating Lady Morpha was their top priority.

Suddenly, Ahsoka received a call on her communicator from Gabby.

"Hey, Ahsoka." Gabby greeted. "Any luck on how to face Lady Morpha?"

"Not yet. We've found lots of books about butterflies, Enchanted and non, spells to summon butterflies, andhow to raise caterpillars into butterflies, but nothing on Doresho Gypsies."

"Anything interesting on your end?"

"Well, we've rescued Rosella." Gabby said. "And Count Dooku is safely in custody. We're also making progress on getting the Madrigals back to their home world and finding out who the Sith Lord the Jedi have been looking for is. And we found out that splashing water in the face breaks victims out of Morpha's spell. I guess they don't like water and why the water worlds are the only places she hasn't even tried to attack."

So far, all together, all everyone knew about Lady Morpha was as follows:

1. She mainly targets people with magic

2. No creature is known to be immune to her moth bites

3. Splashing water in a victim's face drowns the moth bite away

4. Morpha cannot attack anyone underwater

5. For some reason, she never faces anyone in the actual battle, and stayed away from any place with music, alarms, and/or large crowds.

Some guessed that Morpha was anxious around crowds, hated dance parties, and was too cowardly to fight herself instead of making her victims fight for her.

"I think I found something!" Fiesta exclaimed, pulling up a book with her magic. "According to this book, the last known attack of a Doresho Moth was when the kingdom of Solaris was overthrown by an army of dark creatures led by someone named Redero Metamorpho."

Gabby looked surprised. "Did he call himself Red Morpho, by any chance?"

"Si. Por que? Why?"

Gabby explained to the others how she'd been reading her ancestor's diary, and one of the last entries she wrote talked about the loss of the kingdom, but it didn't say anything about how Red Morpho was defeated.

"Uncle Carmine looked in Great Grandma Miranda's journal, but says he hasn't found anything that would help us in this battle. But, these Doresho Gypsies seem to have a habit of having long names."

"It happens with a lot of species... Gabriella." Ahsoka chuckled.

"Well, either way. We'll need you to gather as much information about Solaris's fall as you can and come meet us as soon as possible."

Meanwhile, Carmine and Lamenta were checking off a list of suspects. Caroline had excellent computer skills she typically used to help her husband avoid bad publicity and keep everything organized too. So, she was able to gain access to the medical records of every senator they suspected of being the Sith Lord. Fortunately, there were some getting blood tested as part of medical exams, and they did a midichlorian count on each of them.

Mila also began working on an invention that could scan a subject and do a midichlorian count in mere seconds. And she was determined to create a microchip that she could implant into a pair of glasses or another object that would allow them to scan the remaining senators inconspicuously.

By now, they'd narrowed it down to five male Senate members, and one of them was the Supreme Chancellor.

From what Lamenta and Carmine knew, Gabby had been suspicious of the Chancellor since she first met him when she was a baby. She couldn't explain why, but something inside her snapped and told her he was bad news. When they told Anakin...

"That's crazy. He's been my friend since I was a kid." Anakin said. "He was practically my mentor."

"I know it's hard to think someone you trust could be the bad guy..." said Carmine. "But remember Silvaria? And what about Barriss Offee?"

"Whoever the Sith Lord is," said Gabby, walking in. "How do you know he hasn't been pretending... just so he could use you?"

Gabby's eyes really began to open. Could this be the feeling she got around the Chancellor? Was this why she felt a sudden chill whenever she even thought of him?

There was only one way to find out.

They had to end this war. It was so close, yet so far.

Everyone knew from the get-go that ending the war would be a metaphorical battle as well as a literal one, but there was one thing they could rely on to keep them going.

Hope.
