I woke up first. I knew this because I felt a certain furry body lying next to mine. I yawned as I got up, though only on all fours. Looking myself over, I saw I was a fox with a white coat. I had some odd red markings across my body however. Reminded me of Okami Amaterasu. Turning to Link, I started to nudge him awake.
"Hey. Wake up." Chains rattled as I did, and I noticed how I was chained up. I knew biting and clawing at it wouldn't get me anywhere. Link whined a bit as he got up, then gasped as he looked himself over.
"What the-?! And… Gilda, you're…" He trailed off before looking at our chains.
"Yeah. And now we need to wait for somebody to get us outta here. She'll be here soon." I whispered to him. He growled and started biting at our chains, and I just sat down to wait. I was content to wait until a certain Twilight Princess arrived. Link kept trying to break our chains for a whole minute before I spotted Midna. She was standing there, staring at us as she analyzed us. Then, she grinned and jumped over us.
"I found you!" She giggled in glee. I smiled at her.
"I suppose you have." I responded, getting Link to stop his growling and glaring.
"Is she the one you mentioned, Gilda?" Link asked. That seemed to catch Midna completely off guard.
"Wait, what? So you already knew I was coming then?" Midna asked with a raised eyebrow. I simply nodded.
"And I'm sure both of us want that power tripping lunatic Zant dead as much as you do. What do you say we team up?" I offered. Midna narrowed her eyes at me.
"How much do you know, fox?" She demanded. I snorted and looked aside.
"Enough. Probably more than you want me spilling." I answered. "Long story short, I'm not someone you want to piss off. On a similar note, I'd rather be your ally than your enemy. I know your power, and… frankly it terrifies me." Midna sighed.
"Well, I guess if you know THAT much, I can't exactly leave you out of this. But, I barely know anything about you two." She raises her arms, charging magic in her hands. Once she finished her spell, the cuffs on our legs were quickly severed. Link looked in surprise, impressed by the magic. I just smiled in thanks. Midna smiled in kind.
"So I'll cut you a deal. There's someone I want you two to meet. If you guys can make it there, I'll consider partnering up." Midna proposed. I smirked.
"Alright." And with that, I moved over to a crate in our cell that hid a portion of soft dirt we could dig through. Focusing on my instincts, I closed my eyes as I attempted to call forth an attack response…
"Oh, neat! The fox knows magic!" Midna cheered. "Although it looks like you're just a beginner. A basic Cantrip like that is easy to learn."
I opened my eyes in surprise to see I'd just burned the box to ashes. I raised an eyebrow at that. So… magic is my attack response in this form. Could I be a Kitsune? It's not entirely off the table, but I'll need to determine that later.
"Well, that's interesting." I muttered before stepping up to the dirt. I began to dig through it, squeezing myself under the bars. Link promptly followed my lead.
"Guh, this feels so weird." Link complained. I laughed at his expense.
"Believe me, I know. But we're gonna need to get used to this." I told him. He groaned at that, much to Midna's amusement. Midna then dropped on my back, making me yelp in surprise. "Ack! Hey, come on! You gotta give a girl some warning before you ride her." Midna rolled her eyes.
"Well, you looked like a better mount than him. He's so wild he'd probably try to throw me off at the earliest opportunity." Midna pointed out. I rolled my eyes.
"Alright, fair enough." I conceded. "But if we have to split up, I'm gonna ask that you stick with him. He's gonna need your help more than I will." I added.
Midna groaned. "Alright, fine." She playfully said. With that, I started leading the way out of the cell rooms and into the waterways. Once I pulled the chain to open the way forward, Link headed through. I went along behind him, but that had the unfortunate effect of me getting a look at his new doggie balls. I tried my best not to think too hard about it. The Curse of Lust didn't make it easy.
Our first steps out of the prison cells were met by a ball of blue fire. It wasn't hostile by any means. I mean I knew what it was, but Link didn't.
"Ah, would you look at that? Hey, that right there is a spirit. You might not see them a lot as a human, but as beasts your senses are on a whole nother level. Give it a shot, why don't ya?" Midna prompted. Link seemed to focus, and I noticed his clear blue eyes turn more beastial. It was odd, but I guess it was a nice visual clue that he was training his senses. I decided to give it a shot too, focusing intently on the Spirit. Once it came into focus, I saw the Hylian soldier suddenly jump.
"What the hell?! Where'd this fox come from?!" The soldier shouted in abject fear. I tilted my head. Wait… could he see me? The Soldier seemed to calm down as he leaned in closer to me. "Wait… you're not like those black monsters. Maybe… are you here to fight them?" He asked. Slowly, unsure if he could see me or not, I nodded. The Soldier sighed in relief.
"I dunno what you are or where you came from, but thank you. If you see any more of my platoon, please send them my way. They don't stand a chance on their own." He started running towards where Link and I just came from. Seeing him leave, I switched back to my ordinary senses.
"Well, that's interesting. That spirit could see and hear you. Maybe you're not just some dumb old magic fox." Midna commented. I looked back at her.
"You think so too, huh? I'm gonna have to play around with these powers at some point." I remark.
"For now, let's keep moving. I got a bad feeling about this place." Link stated. Midna looked at him in amusement.
"He doesn't know where we are, does he?" She asked. I shrugged.
"Not that I've been here before either, but nah. I never did explain to him where we were gonna be taken." I answered.
"Ooh, so you're being careful with all that info? Nice. I like you already." Midna gave me headpats as we turned to keep going.
"Speaking of which, it'd be nice to know things like that. I don't like being left in the dark." Link said as the two of us dropped into the water down below.
"Ah, right. This is Hyrule Cast-LLLLLEEE WHAT THE FUCK-" I was suddenly cut off as I felt a vast number of tiny tentacles latch onto my ass and start spearing into my pussy. Midna jumped off my back in surprise as I was violently molested, and just stared in shock. Link was rather stunned too, as this happened just behind him.
"What the fuck is happening?" Midna asked, shocked by the display. I moaned, hardly able to respond as what I'm sure was a Shadow Vermin drilled itself into my pussy. It felt fucking unreal.
"Uh… So it's probably a bad time to mention this, but Gilda got cursed by an Incubus." Link explained, VERY awkwardly. Midna laughed in response.
"Well then, I guess we should just let it run its course. And here I thought you two couldn't get more interesting!" Midna said with a cheeky grin. I dropped my jaw hearing that. Wait, she was just gonna leave me to this?!
"Alright, I need to put a stop to this-" Link tried to step forward to help me, but Midna stopped him.
"Not unless you wanna take over where you make the monster stop. That curse decided your foxy friend needs to get fucked. It doesn't care who by, but it tends to target monsters as a priority." Midna warned. Link frowned.
"Oh." He looked mortified by that idea.
The Shadow Vermin slid inside my pussy with a wet slurp, making me collapse into the water, twitching while I came. This was so damn embarrassing…
As the monster let itself in, I felt it shatter the Baba head that got stuck in there earlier. I was pretty thankful that now I didn't have to carry around that dead weight, but now I had a live monster in there. Midna seemed pretty amused by this.
"Now the fun thing about this curse is that it turns most elemental damage into something of a similar if hornier concept instead. So poison becomes aphrodisiac, fire just puts you in heat, and any basic attack from a monster just turns into straight up rape." Midna happily rattled off. I looked at her in disbelief.
"You call this fun?!" I questioned with a mild shout. I winced as I felt the Shadow Vermin squirm in response to my raised voice. Midna giggled.
"Hey, I studied that curse in case I ever wanted to absolutely humiliate someone. There was one person I'd have loved to use it on, but that's out of my hands now." Midna said before settling herself on Link's back. I sighed.
"I hope I can break the curse soon. The first instance I see that damn demon after I get magic attacks that hurt her, I am so destroying her." I vowed.
"Uh, right. So how are we getting across this spike pit?" Link asked, gesturing to the spike pit I'd overlooked.
"By swimming. Hope you learned how to doggie paddle." I responded, before carefully jumping up to a chain on the walkway above. I whimpered in lust as the monster in my pussy squirmed a bit, making me drip a little. Once I pulled the chain though, the waterways flooded with water, giving us a way forward. I dived into the water and started swimming. Link was already halfway across. I was a bit slower though. I'm not a strong swimmer. I've only ever been in water deep enough to swim a total of 3 times in my life. So I only barely knew how to simply float. It took me a minute to cross. By the time I crossed and climbed into one of the raised platforms, Midna was looking at me with a sassy grin.
"Took you long enough." Midna pointed out. I huffed.
"Alright, I'm not good at swimming. And I've got a damn rat in my pussy." I laid out my excuses. Midna rolled her eyes.
"You've gotta learn at some point." She told me. I groaned.
"I know. I'm already dreading the Lakebed Temple where one of your Fused Shadow pieces are." I remarked. Seeing another soldier nearby, I switched to beast sense mode and approached. The Soldier seemed pretty jumpy like the other guy, and understandably so. He hesitates before looking at me.
"Please tell me you're not one of them…" he meekly begged. I chuckled to hide the sudden feeling of emptiness I felt.
"Go to the hidden tunnel over that way. There are prison cells over there, but you'll find one of the other guards hiding there. Priority one right now is to survive." I told him. I noted that my voice kinda came across in an otherworldly feeling. The Soldier stopped shaking in his boots, before nodding at me.
"Understood!" He immediately took off running, and then swimming past me. I switch my senses back to normal, only to find Link ripping a Shadow Vermin to pieces that hadn't been there before. Link looked at me before spitting the monster out and letting it poof.
"So, apparently you literally turn into a spirit when you talk to those spirits." Link stated. I blinked.
"Wait, what?" That took me off guard, but I did notice I no longer felt a certain rat squirming inside me.
"What I want to know is where this Baba head came from." Midna stated, holding up a partially broken baba head. I went wide-eyed at that.
"Uh. Okay, I may have gotten fucked by one shortly after getting this curse…" I sheepishly admitted. Midna giggled as Link seemed to sigh.
"You should be more careful." Link told me. "Oh, and we might have a way for you to avoid swimming. Just switch to spirit form to walk on water." Well that simplifies things. I was honestly surprised. Both by the fact that Link seemed to be taking this relatively well and that I could walk on water. Midna must have noticed.
"Maybe this will help you out in the future, but that curse of yours influences more than just you. Anyone who sees you gets affected by it, treating what happens as normal. Of course the obvious weakness of that part of the curse is awareness. I'll let you decide if you want to make the puppy aware of it." Midna teasingly instructed me. That… was a handful to think over. Still, knowing this curse normalizes what I get into because of it… I could definitely use that to have some fun later down the line.
Taking a left from the junction we found Soldier number 2 at, there was another soldier by the next water control valve. Skipping across the water in Spirit form, I approached him as I let Link handle the chain switch. This soldier had his head stuffed into a corner in fear like he was an ostrich.
"What the hell is going on here?! Somebody, please… save us…" the soldier whimpered. I put a paw on his shoulder, but… it just passed right through him. The feeling was incredibly odd though, phasing through him like that. He jumped, looking back. "Gah! Not another one!"
"Hey, calm down. Listen, you're already little more than a spirit. Just keep your distance from these monsters and they won't turn you into one of them." I informed them. That seemed to get his brain going.
"Wh-what do you mean I'm…" he shivered harder. "No… no, that… how?"
"Dark magic, that's how. If you wanna survive, go past that spike pit and take a right. There should be other members of your team waiting in some kind of dungeon area." I told him.
"More soldiers? Is it safe there?" He asked hopefully.
"Safer than being alone. Take off that armor, all it's doing is making noise. It can't protect you from these monsters any better than bare flesh would." I told him. He nodded, before hurrying off and ditching his helmet. I swapped out of Spirit form as he left, looking towards Link. He held a satisfied smirk.
"I'm glad we can still help these soldiers, even if they can't do much. You've got some decent survival tips too." Link stated. I chuckled.
"I used to play a lot of survival games back home. Some of them were brutal, some of them were just plain stupid, but most of them were pretty fun. I should tell you about Terraria if I ever get the chance." I remarked. We then headed back the other way, passing soldier 2's old spot until a screen of bars blocked our way forward. I didn't even hesitate as Midna flew through the bars and waited on the other side. I led Link through a crawl space we needed to lower the water level to access. On the other side, unsurprisingly, was another soldier. This one was kinda thickset. I approached him as a spirit.
"Whah! H-hey, b-back off!" The Soldier shouted upon seeing me pop in outta nowhere.
"Two things. Ditch your armor, it's not gonna protect you. And go past the spike pit out that way and to the right to meet up with some of the other soldiers. You've got better chances together than alone." I told him. He stood stock still for a second before he registered what I said.
"Uh… Th-thanks you! I'll go right away!" He then started taking off the armor, and heading towards the crawlspace we just came from. After that, I rejoined Link as he headed to meet up with Midna. If I remembered right, the next part would be the collapsed tower stairs. Which meant it was time to learn how to leap...
