Boris Yeltsin: Thanks for the rievew! Will is definitely upset with his wife, although not so much what she did to him as much as he is with how she treated Quinn. I'm going to have a lot of fun with how protective the girls are of each other, in particular Santana and Brittany. Britt wasn't shown much to be protective, but she will be in this story. :)

Notes: I just couldn't wait! I am eager to get chapter 10 up for everyone, so here is #9!
Enjoy! :)
*6 week later – 3:15 p.m.*
It's October now. Two months since school has started and just under that is how long the girls have been coming to see Rachel during lunch.
The first few weeks, in August, they came for 10 minutes at lunchtime, individually.
Russell was not happy when he discovered they had joined Glee Club. In fact, he was furious to say the least. He has not found out about lunch, though. Quinn knows it is an absolute miracle.
She told him that Coach Sylvester was the reason they joined. She needs them to try and…sabotage...Glee Club, so that there is no competition for her and the Cheerios.
Of course, just as Quinn had told Britt, Russell immediately called up Sue Sylvester and demanded to know if this was true. She confirmed that it was and Russell has been none the wiser.
So, for the past two months it has been – 4 weeks of 10 minutes with Rachel at lunch. Then, it went up 5 minutes.
For 15 minutes Monday through Thursdays of the last month (September) and two weeks in October, Quinn, Santana, and Britt have each went to see Rachel. They all go on Fridays.
Rachel has begun bringing them stuff for lunch. It alternates between a mixture of different fruits and chocolate strawberries for Brittany, her Daddy's brownies for Santana, and something vegan for Quinn, who actually enjoys the food that Rachel eats.
Now, it's October. And Brittany has given Santana and Quinn an ultimatum that neither girl could refuse or ignore.
*Flashback*
When: 2 weeks ago (October 2)
Where: Santana's house
They are having a sleepover at Santana's house for this weekend. It's been "permitted" nearly a month and half after school started.
Russell Fabray, Quinn's father, has made them stay at his house for the past 6 weeks, to make sure they did not do anything rash.
Like talking to Rachel at school.
Or trying to reconcile and apologize.
Or trying to fix all this screwed up crap they have caused the past four years.
Basically, everything they are doing he is making they are not.
Now, he is satisfied that nothing is going on that should not, by his standards, be happening.
And it is Friday. And they are here, at Santana's house. They watch the videos that Russell does not know she has. They talk about the girl who was once their best friend, and whom they miss, dearly.
They discuss what has been happening the past 5 weeks. Them joining Glee Clue. Visiting Rachel at lunch. Quinn leaving roses and a note in the Diva's locker.
Brittany throws her bag onto the chair at Santana's desk, a little rougher than what would could be disregarded, apparently, because Quinn and San both raise an eyebrow in her direction as she practically falls onto the bean bag next to the bed.
"B…?" Santana starts, trailing off because she isn't sure what to say exactly. It's not like Brittany to be anything other than happy, and certainly not like her to just throw her things down in the manner she did.
Brittany looks up at them with determinations in her eyes.
It's the first thing that should have warned them about what's to come.
"I don't want to keep doing what we are," She says. "It's been two months, Santana,"
That's the second thing. Her saying 'Santana' instead of 'S' or 'San' or any of the other nicknames she has for her best friend.
"I'm tired of this. And I am not going to do it anymore."
"Britt…," Santana sighs because she hates this, too. She does not want to keep up with the Slushies and the bullying, because the look of hurt on Rachel's face when Santana calls her Manhands or Ru-Paul or Treasure Trail crushes her every time it happens.
She wants nothing more than to just come out and say exactly why they have been doing it. She wants to tell Rachel, and her own parents and brother, and she wants to explain to Britt's mom and dad why Rachel hasn't been to, or spoken of, at her house since the sixth grade.
And she knows, without a doubt that, God, Quinn would love nothing more than to be friends with Rachel again. She can understand that – Rachel met Quinn and Noah in kindergarten. They were five years old, practically babies, moreso than they were when they met Britt and San in the fourth grade.
Quinn wants that back because right now, it is the only innocent part of her childhood she would be able to still have.
"Baby, I know that you want to tell her, ok? We want to tell her but… we can't. Okay? We need more time. We need to know exactly what we are going to tell her. How we are going to explain. I–"
She sighs and then…
"Do you remember that time in the eighth-grade that you and I decided we were going to not do what-what… he… told us to?"
She is referring to May of the eighth-grade, when Russell wanted them to do something and they refused. He did not say anything and they thought well, that was easy…
Until Quinn showed up in a long-sleeve shirt that was far too hot to be wearing during the current weather.
She said she had to wear it, in order to hide the bruises on her arms, the bruises from which Russell had made, when he punished her for what Brittany and Santana did not do.
Amongst the slap to the face and the threat of a belt, he had squeezed her arms so tightly, he almost broke them, leaving handprint-shaped bruises.
She told them that, because they did not do as they said, this was what happened. While they got to go home and had a good night's rest, she was up all night, terrified that Russell would change his mind and decide to actually use his belt on her, or actually break her arm.
And they vowed right then to never ever refuse to do what he said ever again.
And right now, Santana realizes it probably was not a good idea to bring that up. She watches as Brittany's facial expression darkens, and honestly, it scares her a little bit.
"Of course, I remember, Santana. How could I not?" The dancer hisses out, and Santana swallows roughly, aware that Quinn is watching the two with wide eyes.
Brittany then stands, and she grabs her bag, and she walks to the doorway of Santana's bedroom.
She turns and says, "I'm giving you two weeks to figure out "what exactly" we are going to tell Rachel. If you do not figure it out, then I will tell her – everything."
And with that, she leaves the room and Santana's house. And the two remaining girls are left to ponder what they are going to do.
*End of flashback*

*3:15 p.m.*
Those two weeks flew by, but now, now it is Friday. It is the beginning of October, and…
Quinn is going to be the one to tell Rachel what had been going on.
Friday, at the end of the week, is the next free day that Rachel and Quinn both have. Monday and Wednesday was cheer practice for Quinn, and Tuesday and Thursday was dance practice for Rachel.
Santana's mom is going to pick up her and Britt, but to her surprise, she was told that Quinn was going home with Rachel.
While they wait, Britt and Santana stand with Quinn and Rach by the doors.
Brittany is hugging Rachel, but this one feels different, right from the start, and it startles Rachel so much, the heaviness that she felt when Britt first began the hug, that she locks eyes immediately with Santana and…
God, she can't even describe that feeling the look on her face gave her.
"What's going on?" Is the first thing out of the Diva's mouth because while they have been seeing at her lunch these past two months, they have not done like this yet.
Santana is the one that answers. She can see Quinn is not able to and Britt probably won't want to say the actual words.
"We've been talking, and… Quinn is going to go home with you, and…" She scrunches up her face, looking out across the quickly emptying parking lot. "You'll get to know why, ok, Rach?"
And if Rachel thought hearing anything other than the usual name for come out of Quinn's mouth was like a punch to the gut, the randomness of it, then it definitely is coming from Santana.
But she can't process any actual words right now, so she just nods and… well, she just nods and stays silent.
"Hey, Rae?" Quinn finally speaks up about 10 minutes later. Santana and Britt have just been picked up and are currently waving out of the windows of Santana's mom's car.
"Yeah, Quinn?"
"Who's picking us up today?"
"Daddy is," She smiles gently as Quinn breathes a sigh a relief. That means Josiah. She just really didn't want it to be Rachel's dad, David. He's the overprotective one of the two, and more likely to hold a grudge for Quinn's behavior.
"I told them this morning that you were coming over, and he offered to pick us up. He's going to keep Dad out of our hair while we talk."
"Okay, good," She nods. "I mean, ya know, it would have okay if it was dad, but-"
"No, it wouldn't have," Rachel interrupts, and Quinn tries to respond, but really, what can she say? Because Rachel is right.
"It's okay, Quinn. Daddy knows that you're trying to do better and, while Dad wasn't happy about you coming over, he agreed that it was my decision whether I heard you out or not. So, he is going to be the one to pick us up. Okay?"
Quinn breathes out slowly, nodding. "Okay. Thank you." She smiles as Rachel nods back. And the rest of the wait is spent in silence.
I decid to end the chapter here so it would be sort of a build up. The next chapter is what you all have been waiting for - Rachel finally gets some answers!
Please review! I would love to know what you thought, or what kind of theories you may have as to what has caused the Unholy Trinity to treat Rachel this way.
I'm going to be at my grandma's and out of WiFi next week, but I am not leaving until Tuesday. If you can get me up to a total of 30 reviews (only 6 more!), I will post chapter 10 before I leave! :)
Also, if you have any questions about anything that will happen or that you want to maybe happen in a certain way, just leave them in your review.
