Thank you to those that reviewed on the chapter! i an up to 130 comments and that is amazing! I will reply to the reviews in a little bit but first, I want to welcome my new followers Birder, HikaruYuki12, Nicks3195, and ShinyImp (favoriter). And my favoriters 95, sendnukes, and GLEE111.

Notes: This is… with the Gleeks. Finn, Noah, Mike, Santana, and Britt tell the Glee Club a cliffnotes version of what has been happening.

*** some things that need to be discussed before we get to the chapter. You can skip this if you'd like but it may pertain to you, so please at least skim through it...

Notes 2: I know that, so far, this story has been action-filled and moving about pretty quickly. And I know that some may want it to continue to do that (and I understand, but…) when I first started this story, I wanted to do two things; 1. write about the things that have happened (child abuse, etc.) and 2. establish and show parts of the girls' friendship.

In doing that, I would be writing an actual Glee story with actual Glee content (the Club, performances, singing, friendships, etc.) I promise that this story WILL have more action, but not right now. Right now, I am going to be doing that second thing I mentioned above.

I hope you choose to stick around but if not, I understand! I would like to keep all my readers happy but, unfortunately, in trying to do that, I may end up writing something that is no longer fun for me, so I am just going to stick with my original plans.

Enjoy! :)

*McKinley High School – After school – Glee*

Finn, Noah, and Mike watched the girls leave earlier.

They try to ignore the fact that Quinn had a fucking anxiety/panic attack because she lost track of Rachel.

It is Glee time now. They are down four members so not a lot can be done right now. Instead, Noah and Finn and Mike talk with Emma and Will. Then, they conference a three-way call between them and Rachel, Brittany, and Santana.

They decide it is time to let the Glee club know of what is going on. Because it is obvious something is going on, why else would ¼ of their Club be out for nearly the entire week.

It is 15 minutes before anyone is supposed to show up for Glee, as school has been officially let out except for the extras, like Cheer, football, and other Clubs.

The football players of the group – Mike, Noah, Finn, and even Matt, – are in here, having been let out of practice when Coach Sylvester spoke with Coach Beiste and she let them go.

As Sue was explaining things, it was all Shannon could do not to join them in their manhunt for Russell Fabray. How anyone could even a fraction of what he did to Quinn and the girls is beyond her.

"I am going to fucking kill him!" Noah seethes as he paces back and forth in front of his friends. It is the only thing that runs on a loop through his mind… everything he would love to do to the sorry-excuse-for-a-human-being who does not deserve to even be referred to as Quinn's… father.

The boys sit and watch him, Matt recovering from what he has just been told, and Finn and Mike understanding, and even partially agreeing, because they saw it earlier.

They saw the aftermath of what… he… did to Quinn. They have first-hand knowledge of the terrified little girl their friend has been reduced, and all at the hands of that monster.

Finn starts with, "Puck," but trails off because… what can he say?

"I mean it, Finn. I am going find a way to get inside that jailhouse, and I am going to fucking kill him!" He makes to move towards the door and is almost there when Finn and Mike both appear in front of him.

"Move out of my way, Chang. I am not against physical force." He snarks lowly.

Mike starts out with, "I know you are angry right now," and then adds, "But charging into the police station, or at the Jailhouse, – or wherever he is, – and demanding to see him, is not the way to go. You need to keep yourself out of trouble, be there for Quinn when she needs you to."

"You don't have any clue as to what I am feeling right now, Chang!" Noah snaps this, and Mike holds up his hands, backing away, pulling Finn with him.

"You are not – were not – even close to Q until you joined Glee, so don't stand there, and try to tell me how I am feeling, or what is or is not the best thing to do!"

He tries to keep his anger in check, himself, because yes, Noah is right – he was not near as close as he is now to Quinn, a month ago when he first joined Glee Club, but that does not mean she is not important to him now.

"You are right. I was not close to her. I was not friends with her. But you know what? I am now. She is important to me now. And don't you think for one second, Puckerman, that I would not do anything I could to make this situation better."

Mike takes a deep breath, walking away, trying to calm down so he does not get in a screaming match with his best friend.

"Look… I know you are upset. Okay? I get it. I may not get it in the way that Brittany and Santana and Rach do. Or in the way that you do, or, hell, even the way that Finn gets it. But I do get it. Britt is my best friend. She's like a sister to me."

"Along with that comes, Santana. She is important to me, as well. I would do anything for Britt, San, or their families, and, somewhere along the way, that extended to Quinn and Rachel."

He whispers, "I know the details of what happened, Noah." And then he chokes out, "I was there Monday for the detailed telling of what had been going on and what occurred on Friday, and fuck, Noah, I was fucking there today to see what transpired in Miss Pillsbury's office."

Silence…

The boys digest this, and Noah takes that silence to push down his angry feelings, to remember that the best thing right now is protecting his girls. Rus- – he – is in jail. He has been arrested. He was denied bail and his trial is going to start sometime soon, and right now…

Right now, that is as good as it gets.

Mike is right, anyway.

Getting himself arrested and thrown in Juvie is the last thing that could ever possibly help.

Matt breaks the uneasy silence with, "I think Rachel has rubbed off on you, Mike." And the boys smile, snicker, tease Mike for speaking like the Diva. They all sigh in relief, and Noah and Mike nod to each other, and Finn tells them both…

"We should do something for Quinn, an-and Santana, and Britt and Rach. Y'know, to show them that we are here, and they don't have to do this alone anymore."

Noah smiles, a real one, and he nods in agreement. He is thankful that his best friend seems to not hold the fact that he slept with his girlfriend and got her pregnant against him.

"Hey, man… I'm–… I'm sorry about Quinn, ya'know, about sleeping with her and… and well, getting her pregnant."

Finn just half shakes his head/half shrugs.

"I won't say it's ok, 'cause it's not. She was my girlfriend, and that wasn't cool, y'know? But, compared to everything else that is happening, that is way down on the list of things I, or you, need to worry about."

Noah just nods in agreement, and the conversations slowly fade to quietness as they await the arrival of the rest of the Club's members.

Everyone, excluding the four girls, soon slowly trickle into the room, and then it is not long before Brittany and Santana are showing back up.

They come into the room and Mike immediately is standing up to give Britt a hug, because he has come to understand that she is tactile with touch – it soothes her.

And right now, she needs it, because her nerves are nearly through the roof, as it is the greatest amount of people she and Santana have told so far, just in the last several days.

"Look who finally decided to show up." It's the first thing out of Mercedes's mouth when Britt and San walk into the room, and it takes Brittany quickly pulling out of Mike's hug to physical hold her back to keep Santana from going after her.

"Shut it, Mercedes," Noah snaps back. "You don't get to judge when you have no idea what has been going on this past week, or what the girls have been through."

"Where are Rachel and Quinn, anyway? Rachel is always on us about being on time or practicing, yada, yada, yada. And now, she is missing Glee for the third day in a row."

This is Kurt, and Britt tightens her grip on Santana's arm in a motion that tells her to not try to lunge at him. She is very protective of her friends, her best friends, and that definitely includes Rachel now.

Furthermore, is the fact that Kurt is getting snarky about Quinn when the younger girl has been through enough shit. She does not need her so-called "friends" talking about her behind her back.

"You best can it, Hummel," Santana gets out. If Brittany will not let her get physical, she will just have to use her words.

"And what will you do if I don't, Satan? I'm not afraid of you."

Actually, he is, most certainly, afraid of her but he is not going to verbalize that.

Before she can even say anything, Mr. Schuester comes into the room.

"All right, that is enough, all of you!" They snap to attention because him using this tone of voice means he is very serious. "Noah and the girls are right: you do not get to judge them when you have no idea of the circumstances or of what has been going on."

Kurt and Mercedes still look as if they wanted to argue, but Will holds up a hand to silence them.

"They have kindly decided to come here today and explain what has been happening. Now, you all have two choices – you can sit here, listen calmly, and be supportive, or you can walk out that door. I am not going to tolerate any rudeness coming from any of you, and I will certainly not tolerate you speaking badly about anyone in this Club. Is that clear?"

"But, Mr. Schuester–"

"No buts, Lady Hummel," They startle, turning to find Sue standing in the doorway. "You babies want to speak badly about my girls, and the people who you supposedly call your 'family', then you can also suck it up and deal with detention for the rest of the week. With me."

Silence.

"No takers, huh? Alright, then. I suggest you keep quiet and listen to what they have to say."

There are murmurs throughout the room at this, but none actually towards Sue. The five of them sit in the chairs that have been positioned in front of the rest of the kids, and Santana and Brittany – with support from Finn, Noah, and Mike, – begin telling them… well, only a handful of things.

They start out with the beginning…

"We met in the fourth grade. And no matter what you say, Rachel has been, is, and always will be our best friend."

They give the cliff notes to what led up to the behavior four years ago…

"As you know, Quinn is a Christian. And Christians are not exactly, exclusively, known for their tolerance of things that they believe "go against" the Bible."

Santana falters here because… his name. It is not something any of them have been able to speak.

"Russell wanted Quinn away from Rachel and her family." Santana nods in thanks to Finn. "He–… He made them do the things they have been doing to Rachel these past four years. He would…" Finn shakes his head in disgust, "He made them do everything – the name-calling, ignoring her, bullying her, fucking slushying her."

He has never cussed before, so it is a surprise to several of the room's occupants. Finn sucks in a breath to try and steady his emotions. He does not continue, looking to San and Britt to see what they are comfortable with sharing next.

"Before any of you ask, no, we could not just walk away or tell someone. And yes, he really did have that control over us. We were kids, little kids, so before you go and start judging and scoffing and rolling your eyes, – I'm talking to you, Hummel, – before you go and do any of those things… I want you to think about one thing."

A brief pause, where Santana inhales deeply, and Brittany place an arm on the back of her chair, as sort of a hidden movement of comfort, and then…

"What would you have done, if your best friend was threatened with physical punishment, if you did not do as he said? What would you have done, if your best friend, the one you loved with all your heart, came to school with bruises saying that they are because you refused to do as told? That you disobeyed and so she was punished?"

Santana stops here for a moment, and…

"You could have told someone, though. If you had, then it never would have gotten this bad."

"Kurt–" Brittany tries, honestly, she really does, but…

"No, I'm just saying–"

"Kurt…" It's Tina this time but again, Kurt seems to be on a roll, determined to say something he probably should not.

"No! I'm just saying; if they'd told someone, they could have nipped this in the bud years ago. The way I see it, they are just using that as a reason to treat Rachel the way they have. If they are her friends, and if they care about her the way they say they do, then they wouldn't have to use the olé "but he made me do it" excuse in the first place. What exactly did he do? Force you to slushy her? Force you to call her names? Come on…"

The room is immediately filled with tension. Mike and Finn stiffen up in their seats and Noah just shakes his head; even Brittany has slumped forward in her seat, covering her face with both hands.

There is a sharp intake of breath from somewhere in the room and, if she really thought about it, Britt would later say that it came from both Miss Pillsbury and Mr. Schuester.

If there is one thing they have both come to learn in the last several days, it is to never question the Unholy Trinity's loyalty to Rachel. Ever.

Maybe seeing these reactions, Kurt realizes it was not the best thing to say. Maybe he does not understand that.

Either way, Santana's eyes narrow dangerously at the boy as she really thinks about how to respond.

"Maybe." She says it lowly and at this point, Brittany is mentally face-palming because whatever is about to said will not be good. "Maybe we could have. A teacher, right? Or our parents. Is that what you would have done, Kurt?" She growls his name, causing chills to pierce his spine. "I bet that would have went magnificently for you…"

Santana leans forward.

"But, Kurt, I would like to know something… – you ready for this? – I would like to know what you would have done, if you were 11 years old, a terrified little boy, and this big, scary adult was threatening to beat–" Her voice cracks here… "If he was threatening to beat your best friend with fucking goddamned belt if you did not do exactly as he said. If you did not slushy your best friend, or call her the worst names possible… What would you have done, at that point, Kurt?"

Out of the corner of her eye, Brittany sees Sue and Will reacting this, as well as, Noah. Tears prickle at her eyes and she has to blink them away.

Santana sucks in a breath, pressing the heels of her hands into her eyes. Then, she abruptly stands, grabs Britt's hand, and tugs up out of the seat, making a side comment to Mr. Schue of, "Screw this. If they are going to judgmental little asses, then we are not going to waste our time on them."

Then she pulls on Britt's hand, "Come on, B. We're done here for now. We can go see Zeke and the rest of the kitties, if you want."

They head towards the door but just before they exit the room, Santana turns back to the room, addressing the Club as a whole.

"I, as you know with Britt, am very protective of my friends." Santana tells them. "And I do not take lightly of people, especially those who, as Coach said, are your so-called "family", speaking badly about my friends. And that extends past Britt, to Quinn and Rach, and I may even go as far as to say, Mike, Finn, and Puck."

Brittany presses on the small of her back with two fingers, signaling her to get to the point.

"I want to make clear one thing: if you ever imply to anyone, especially Rach, that we are anything but faithful to her, or that we are out to hurt her, or to trick her, or anything else… I will go all Lima Heights on your asses. Is that clear?"

Again, there are murmurs throughout the room, but Santana does not stick around to listen to them. She tugs on Britt's hand again and the two finally exit the room. However, they only get a few feet away before their names are being called.

Mike is jogging towards them, with Tina, Noah, and Finn are behind them, as well.

"Hey, guys," Mike greets. "We're going head over, go home straight from here."

The two know he means Rachel's house, which is what they are just collectively calling "home" because it means only one thing when it said between the five of them.

"Okay. We are on our way there, as well. Are you staying for dinner, too?"

Mike nods while Finn does the same, adding,

"My mom said it's fine, and Alex really wants to see Rachel again. She was really sad earlier when I told her they had left, so I am going to go pick her up and take her over there… well… do you think that would be ok? I don't want to bring her if Quinn still is not feeling good. I don't know what she feels like after a–… well, after the panic attack, so…"

Finn trails off awkwardly and nervously rubs the back of his neck. Santana's lips twitch in an almost-smile. Finn is a good guy deep down, and she knows he cares deeply about Quinn, even after the whole I-lied-the-baby-isn't-really-yours ordeal.

"You will just have to call. Quinn, Rach, and Amara were asleep when we left, so…"

Finn nods, glancing at Noah and Mike, the latter chipping in with, "Just give her a call, and if they are up for seeing the kids, I can go and pick Alex up. She can use Jamie's carseat. I've had my license for a while, so she will be safe with me."

"Okay. I will call Rach and see if they are up for Alex to visit."

As Santana is sending a text to her brother, Gabriel, who promised to pick her and Brittany up, Tina finally speaks up,

"H-Hi, guys," She gives a small smile, holding out a folder, "Um, I-I don't know i-if Rach got her assignments today, but I-I asked for them i-in the classes we-we have together, just in case."

As she takes it, Britt smiles back. "Thanks, Tina! We actually didn't have time to ask so this will be a big help."

"I don't have a-any classes Quinn or-or Santana, but I got your assignments, as well, a-and Mike and Finn got them f-for your other cla-classes."

"Oh, it's no problem. San has been emailing our teachers, so her and Q can theirs that way, but Rachel will definitely appreciate having actual papers. And I do, too."

She gets a shy smile in response and then Tina looks away when Kurt and Mercedes call her over to them, to where they are standing in the Choir room doorway. She gets a hug from Brittany before going off to the other side of the room.

The five of them, – San, Britt, Noah, Mike, and Finn, – gather their things and head home. The boys decide to come over tonight, instead of right now, just to give Quinn and Rachel some more time to sleep/rest.

They definitely need it after everything that happened earlier.

Britt leans against the wall as she waits Santana to get her books from her lockers. Once she is finished, the she holds out her pinkie, and the two make their way to the front office.

So I had to add some things to chapter because I initially had Kurt only saying one sentence before Santana snapped at him, but I think this way ^ was the better route to take. Santana ended up sharing some… things that Quinn will not be happy about but, it was needed for her to get her point across.

Next up are three chapters for Thursday. Some very important things are revealed to Rachel, the girls, and Noah. Also, Rebecca makes an appearance finally! After that, the Glee Club sings Keep Holdin' On to Quinn and Noah, plus an important character is introduced.

Please review and let me know what you thought! :)

ETA: Hey, everyone! I don't how many of you will actually read this chapter with this added note, but those of you who do, will you please go to my profile and vote on the poll I have up? It is about which prequel choice to this story you would like to read. Thank you! :)
