Boris Yeltsin: Thanks for the review. :)
chloe2007: Thank you for the review! I have some Quick for you in chapter 35, and I hope you enjoy this one - Rebecca finally makes an appearance!
Lord Jeremy Silver: Thanks. I am glad you are still enjoying, tell you wife thank you for reading it also! If she has any questions about any of the stuff, just let me know. I'll be happy to answer them. :)
Qaanie: Thank you! And I hear ya. With my little sister out till the 17 (and possibly the rest of the year), I have so much time on my hands, so I will probably be updating quite a bit in the upcoming weeks.
Isa Yodice12: Thank you for the review! :) Yes, Britt being smart is something I wish was explored more on the show. I don't understand how she went from a 0.0 GPA to being a math genius? Like, that just didn't make sense at all. How did she even get to high school with that GPA? But I am definitely not comfortable writing her as "dumb" as they made her out to be on the show. She will have her quirks, and be a kid at heart, but the rest of the time she is as smart of the others! :)
Thank you to everyone who reviewed on the last chapter! Shoutout to Gwennie49. I haven't heard from you in a while - hope everything is ok!
And welcome to my new followers ASSASSIN OF ARTEMIS (favoriter), Sminer (favoriter), and Silavan5! :)
Notes: This is part 1 of a 3-part Thanksgiving break chapter. Each chapter will introduce a new character. This will be Quinn's older sister. Rebecca is engaged to a woman named Tessa Brown, and has not seen Quinn since the car accident that killed Abigale, so about 5 years and 7 months.
David: Dad
Josiah: Papa
Enjoy! :)
Quinn is 13 weeks pregnant
Josiah and David are both working to get things situated at school. They are working to get her 504 and IEP reinstated. It was something she had as a child and was mostly for her anxiety – not being called on in class, being able to leave for the bathroom without permission, being seated/paired with Rachel, and so on.
All those things helped her to become comfortable. To be able to speak and function. Thankfully the Elementary school was amazing at keeping up with the 504 and IEP.
The teachers were, too, though there were several who refused to follow it, who still thought putting all the attention/pressure on Quinn was the best way to get her to speak, obey commands, and generally function in the classroom.
Josiah and David were the ones to set it up. The Principal was great when they explained that her parents would not be willing to agree to it. Jeremiah Roberts understood. You would have to be cold-hearted person to not be affected after watching a six-year-old have an anxiety attack about going back to class after she had an accident because she could not verbalize her need for the restroom.
And her struggling for air while Rachel tried as hard as she could at seven years old to help her breathe.
It hurt him. And he knew it was going against a dozen laws to let Josiah and David be the ones to set up these plans when Jeremiah did not have permission from Russell or Judy Fabray.
But it hurt, so very much, so he said yes. And he made sure to only call Josiah or David Berry for the meetings, for changes or suggestions that he thought may be beneficial. He made sure that Rachel knew she could walk out of a classroom with Quinn at any time for a break. To go to the office. To report bullying from a teacher.
So now… the Berry men are going to get those reinstated. Get new goals and new accommodations because they can do that now. They can fight tooth and nail, and they will until school becomes a place that Lucy Quinn Fabray is able to function at like any other student.
5 days later – Tuesday, November 24th, 2009
*Berry Residence*
It's Tuesday around 2 in the afternoon, and the girls plus Noah are, once again, at the Berrys' house. They are going half days this week, as well, and will look to trying for full days after Thanksgiving break.
Since finding out 2 weeks ago about what happened that night, they have been working with Quinn to slowly get to where she can separate from Rachel. It is very slow going, only about 10 minutes, not counting the 15 minutes of when Rachel takes a shower.
Sometimes it is easier. Sometimes, that voice inside her head is easily ignored, allowing her to do things like bake cookies in the kitchen with Brittany, while Rachel and Santana are helping each other with their homework. Those 10 minutes occur when they are on the same floor and is being worked up to different floors of the house.
Other times it is just too much. Too long, too stressful, too scary.
She is still not speaking, except to Rachel, and it is hard to witness for Josiah and for David, and even for Noah. Because they were all there the first time. When Quinn's anxiety prevented her from speaking to her best friend's parents. And when she had to stick with Rachel because the shorter girl was the only one she could communicate with – when Rachel was her voice.
They worked hard to be at the point that they were. Quinn was speaking to Rachel, whispering out loud to Josiah and David, and whispering in Noah's ear. It took a long time and a lot of hard work and they were oh, so proud of her whenever she had a new accomplishment, and now?
Now it's all went to shit. Every ounce of that bravery, every single one of those achievements have been thrown out the window, completely obliterated, however you want to phrase it.
But now it is Tuesday. And Thanksgiving is almost here.
Which means something important is going to be brought up.
"We think you should be the one to tell her, sweetheart," Josiah says to her, around 2 in the afternoon, after they both arrive home early. "But we can be there if you would prefer that."
Rachel sighs as she comes to fully realize that they still have a shit to deal with. Of course this would be yet another one – Quinn's older sister, Rebecca Fabray, has been wanting to see Quinn since she found out what happened nearly 3 weeks ago.
At first, Josiah and David were deadest against it. Quinn's anxiety was worse then, even if it does not seem much better now, and it was far too much, too soon. Then, the past two weeks have been about her going to school and keeping new things to minimum.
Now it is November 24. Two days before Thanksgiving. Two and a half weeks since Quinn and Santana showed up on the Berry's doorstep.
Rebecca is incredibly worried. She has been told things about her baby sister – their dad beat her with a belt, the things he has forced the Unholy Trinity to do to Rachel.
And she would like to see, for herself, that Quinn is going to be ok.
"I think this is something the five of us should discuss alone." Rachel finally says after thinking it through, and her dads simply let her know they are there if the kids need them.
She goes upstairs. And she heads, first, to the guest bedroom. Santana and Britt follow her back to her room where Noah and Quinn are. The two soon-to-be parents are looking at their sonogram photo from a couple of weeks ago, and Rachel hates, so much, that she is going to have to disturb the peace that is so few and far in between occurrences.
"Hello, Leone Coraggioso," She whispers while approaching the bed, and of course, Quinn lights up at seeing her. That is one childlike trait that all this bad stuff and becoming a mom, can never take from her. "We have some things we need to talk about, okay?"
She braves it by nodding; makes the leap by ignoring the voice in her head.
The five of them gather on the bed and on the beanbags.
Rachel starts it out with, "Dad and Papa need to know…." and realizes immediately that this is not the truth. Sure, they would like to know, but Quinn needs to make this decision based on what she wants, not because it is the answer that would best appease their parents.
"Your sister, LuLu, she is… well, she would like to know if you feel comfortable seeing her. She's–… Well, she knows about what happened, Luce, and she is worried about you."
She pauses here, waiting, watching. Which is exactly what Quinn is doing back until finally, Santana waves a hand at them.
"Helloo…" Once she has their attention, Santana gives them her two cents, "I'm not sure this is a good idea. Remember what happened the last time we saw her, after years of Quinn not having contact with her? And we had Abby then. We don't have Abby now, Rach."
Fair point. Rachel does remember that. After a few years of not seeing Rebecca, Abby started taking them – Quinn and Rachel, sometimes with Noah, and/or Britt and San, – to see the middle Fabray daughter.
By then, Quinn was getting used to her new life. She was no longer comfortable speaking to, or around, Rebecca. She spoke solely to Rachel with some whispering to Britt or San, and Noah.
It did not go well. Rebecca just could not understand why she was not one of the people Quinn still spoke to. Or why she did not want to be touched by Rebecca. She and Abigale often got into arguments because Becca wanted to hug her baby sister or wanted to hear her talk, but it never happened.
"I know, T. But we have our dads. And we have us," She ducks her head to meet Santana's eye. "And we are older and bigger; we know what to say to something like that. We can protect her now. We can stand up for her, and we will be there to pick up the pieces, should they need to be picked up."
"I'm just saying."
"I know." And she does know. This is the Santana she gets to see. Every single person at school, except for a select few, will never be able to know this Santana like she does. She loves her for it. The protective side. The side of her who will kick anyone's ass that needs it. "And I love you for it, 'Tana."
"Love you, too."
It is mumbled, and they try to hide their smiles, even Quinn, because they all know Santana Lopez does not do mushy emotions, and this is about as mushy as it gets.
"It's up to you, babygirl." Santana says to Q next. "Whatever you decide, I – we – will support it 100%. Okay?" She needs Quinn to know this. Because she feels she has failed the girl who is like her little sister – who she loves more than her own family sometimes.
Quinn looks to Rachel; her guiding light in all of this. She has said no to so many things in the past few weeks – going to the hospital, going to school. Maybe this should be a yes thing. Maybe seeing her big sister will do some good in her efforts to rebuild her life.
But there is one thing she has to make sure of because she depends on it more than anything…
She scoots down on the bed so that she is lying perpendicular to Rachel. Reaching for her hand, Quinn smooths out of the ace bandage on Rachel's left wrist. Then, on her palm, she spells out two sentences that say so much more than what the taps and presses could ever convey.
(I don't want to do it alone.) and (Please don't leave me.)
"Quinn!" Her middle name instantly captures the other three's attention. They were watching Quinn's do the Morse Code on Rachel's wrist even though they could not understand it, and were startled with the sharp voice Rachel used.
Quinn pouts at this, and Santana suddenly finds herself understanding why she is pouting. Because it is no fun for Rachel to do that. Nicknames are essential with her, so her given-naming you puts a damper on things.
"You will not be doing this alone unless you explicitly tell me you want to do it by yourself, alright?" And they watch as Quinn plays with the end of ace bandage, mulling this over, waiting for the answer.
For some reason, they are all very relieved when she nods in agreement.
*Later in the afternoon*
They four of them go back to school for Glee practice, just as they have for the past week. When they do get home, they are all bundles of nerves, Quinn, especially.
Rebecca is coming over in about an hour. She will be bringing her fiancée, Tessa Brown, whom she lived with after her… parents… kicked her out during the summer before her senior year of high school.
Quinn's anxiety is through the roof, of course, and this weaves a domino effect of emotions and nerves and anxious feelings throughout the other four kids. Santana is moody because Brittany is nervous because Quinn won't stop pacing. And Noah is not helping things by snarking to Santana every chance he gets.
Rachel wants to slap both of them but… she promised herself she would be violence-free today, so instead, she glares and grits out Santana, and… mostly just ignores them.
The blonde suddenly freezes in her pacing and just… stands there. Rachel approaches and is about to ask but she seems to sense her presence because she is turning towards her, and reaching for her wrist.
She taps something out and Rachel pauses for a moment, processing what was asked, before she nods and gets out her phone and makes a call.
"Hey, Rach!"
"Hey, listen, I know it's short notice but… She asked for you to be here. Do you think you could come?"
"Sh-She asked for… me?"
She knows it is confusing, but hey, that is usually how it goes with anxiety. There is never a cut and dry solution, or any one way or thing that will help each and every time.
"Yes. She is just… Nervous, and, I don't know, really. But yeah, she asked for you."
"Ok, um… Well, my mom is going out with some friends, and I was going to hang out with Alex and Jordan, but I can have her drop me off there instead. Should I bring a bag? Or is this just… just a visit?"
She asks and gets a nod to the first part, relaying that back.
"Ok. I can be there in 15 minutes. My mom is just about to leave."
Rachel says goodbye and then hangs up. And about 20 minutes later, the front door is opening and then closing, and the sound sends Noah running into the foyer.
"Is that her– Finn? What are you doing here?"
He looks questioningly to Rachel but she just shrugs, and then… the answer is given when Finn comes over to Q, his hands out, asking to touch, and she practically knocks into him as a response.
Finn looks to Rachel with wide eyes but by now, she just throws her hands up, shaking her head. The now six kids end up a big ball of just… frustration, nervousness, and on edge.
Until 35 minutes later when the doorbell is ringing, and Josiah goes to answer it. They are gathered in the living room and can feel the shift in the air the moment Rebecca Fabray walks into the room.
"Oh, Lucy," She breathes and Quinn… well.
Rebecca is across the room in an instant, leaving another gorgeous girl, with curly brown hair, in her wake.
"Lucy, I am so sorry I wasn't there! I–"
Santana is stepping in before any of them can even process what is happening.
"Woah, hold up, Becca!" She steps in front of Quinn, who has straightened up but at the same, stiffened up at what she perceived as an unwelcomed almost-touch. "Touching is a major no-go at the moment, but I am sure she still understands the sentiment."
Rebecca stops, looking Santana up and down, and then peers around her.
"Come on, Lucy, it's me, your sister… You know I would never hurt you. I just wanted to give you a hug. You understand that, right? Come on, just a quick hug, that's all!"
And, as well-meaning as it is… it is also still overwhelming.
"She does not like to be called that, Becca," Britt whispers from one end of the couch. "She still goes by Quinn."
"Yeah, I know that, but… But come on. I'm her sister; I don't count in that." She just kind of makes a what the hell is your problem gesture, as Noah responds with,
"Yes, you are her sister. It is still something she does not like to be called, which you know, or have you forgotten? So, please, just call her 'Quinn' so you don't make her even more uncomfortable."
Not the politest, but hey. That's Noah for you. Protective, straight to the point, and not afraid to be rude if it gets his point across.
Rachel steps in this time. She can that Rebecca is not doing it to intentionally make Quinn uncomfortable but that still is what is happening.
"Rebecca, Lucy is just–… Everything that has happened to her is giving her more anxiety than usual. And overwhelming her is not ideal at the moment. So, please, can you just sit down, and maybe… I don't know… find some common ground that will relax her?"
The longer Rachel speaks, the more Quinn realizes why she always preferred Abby over Becca. Abigale was more than accepting that, sometimes, Rachel was going to be the one to calm Quinn down; she was going to be the one Quinn spoke to; and she was going to the one that got Quinn to try new things without it resulting in an overabundance of nervousness.
Don't get her wrong, Becca was an amazing big sister. She loved Q with all of her heart and, along with Abigale, tried her best to protect Quinn from their father's rage.
But she also found herself unwilling to accept Quinn's relationship with the tiny Diva.
"Oh, come on!" She throws her hands up. "My baby sister was beaten by our father and no one told me or allowed me to visit until now, so excuse me, if I want to hug her and make sure she is ok, and would like to hear it from her that she is doing all right."
At her tone, Quinn immediately snaps her eyes down to the blanket currently draped across both her and Rachel. She hates that her big sister has been here less than 10 minutes and already, she has managed to both anger and disappoint her. The mention of her… jackass sperm donor… does not sit too well with her, either.
Rachel rubs her wrist soothingly from under the blanket, and seeing this, the look on the younger's girl face making her heart ache, Tessa finally steps in.
"Rebecca," She grits her own teeth, hand in a firm grip on her fiancée's arm. "I think it is best if you step back, give the poor girl some breathing room, and maybe start this visit over, with a more gentle and calm approach." She says it in a whisper, but everyone still hears the no-nonsense tone. And Rebecca relents.
The two sit on one of the smaller couches. Rachel leans in to whisper something to Quinn and by doing so, uncovers both hands unintentionally.
"What the hell–"
"Lower your voice, Rebecca Annabelle!" David snaps in a firm, but not raised, voice, knowing Quinn is extra-sensitive to that at the moment.
"Right… sorry. What happened to your… to both of your… wrists?"
Santana snorts at this, covering it up with a cough when Rachel glares at her. "I didn't say a word."
"We had a little incident at school." Rachel answers simply.
Noah looks amused while Finn is guilty, and Santana and Brittany are trying their best not to laugh, especially at the now protective look on Quinn's face. Rebecca interprets this in a different way, however, and snarks,
"What? You touch her without the permission you always preach about getting? Good for you, Lucy, fighting back. That'll show'er."
Tessa can see this is going to go downhill very quickly. Quinn obviously has two dads and five friends who will all rip her fiancée to shreds if she snaps like that again, so she pops Rebecca on the back of the hand, adding in a stern voice,
"Lower your tone, and lose the attitude, Rebecca, or you and I will be going right back out that door we came through." She turns to Josiah and David. "I am so sorry about her. She is usually much better behaved then this. I would like to say it is her own nerves but…"
And David understands. It is all overwhelming for everyone. Rebecca has not seen Quinn since they were 9 or 10 years old, right before the car accident. And now, 5 years later, she finds out her baby sister was beaten by their… sperm donor…, is in the custody of her two uncles, and her – Russell and Judy have been arrested.
It is understandable, although, he cannot allow this house to become yet another place where Quinn is not able to relax and be comfortable.
"I do understand," He tells both women gently. "I cannot even begin to imagine what you are feeling right now, but I will not allow you to continually attack your sister or her friends. Rebecca, if you want to continue this visit, you will abide by the following rules – 1, her name is Quinn, please address her as such. 2, stop attacking my daughter and your cousin. They do, and always have had, a special relationship. And 3, lose the attitude, because if you continue to make Quinn uncomfortable, I will have to ask you to leave."
There is a silence for several moments as the two newcomers digest this, especially Rebecca.
Sighing, she says, "You're right – it is overwhelming and a lot to take in. I am sorry, Luce–Quinn. The last time I saw you was when you were all 9. You were perfectly safe and then the car accident happened, and Abby– well–… I didn't just lose her that day, Quinn; I lost you, too. So, please understand. I am not–… I don't mean to–… I'm just… I'm really happy to finally get to see you."
She at least gets nod to this, and sighs at it. She wishes Quinn would actually speak to her but… decides not to push.
Instead, she leans back against the couch, sighing, and trying to find something to talk about. Obviously, her baby sister is no longer the 9-year-old who loved recess because it meant she could do cartwheels with Brittany.
Now, she is older and in high school, and, like the smart girl she is, probably has a million things that she is a part of at school.
After a few failed attempts, she finally asks what she thinks is a "safe" question.
"Well, what about cheerleading? You guys were so excited to join and follow Abby. Did you do it?" She lights up when Brittany nods. "That's great, Luce– sorry, I mean, that's great, Quinn. Are you the Captain? I mean, I bet you are. And you probably are great one at that!"
Silence…
"What?" She looks around. "What did I say?" Quinn to Britt to her uncles…
And Britt, well, she looks wide-eyed to Santana because… why would Becca ask about Quinn being the Cheerios Captain? Unless…
She chances it by saying, "You–… You don't… know?"
Becca just kinds of chuckles, not understanding the severity of the confused look on the dancer's face.
"What? Are you Co-Captain or something instead? Aw, that's all right! No big deal. There's always next year!"
But her smile fades the longer no one says anything.
Josiah and David realize their mistake and…
"What is going on?" Then, joking, because, god, who would think it was fucking true, Rebecca asks, "Oh, Quinn, don't tell me you got kicked off the Cheerios! What'd you do, get pregnant or something?"
Silence… And she has never hated it more than at this very moment.
The realization sets in just about the time that Quinn raises her head and meets her eye, head-on.
"Oh, Quinnie," She breathes. "No. What–… How– You–… HOW, Quinn, how?! You're a Christian! You're supposed to wait until marriage for sex! You–"
"And YOU are gay! Which is against the Bible, but here we are."
Tessa literally chokes on her breath at those words. Not because of the rudeness or lack of tact but…
Because her future sister-in-law fucking spoke them. She has literally never heard Quinn's voice before. And she and Rebecca have been together since they were 17. That is a whole decade's worth of not hearing her speak.
"Yeah, well, I can't help who I love, Quinn! You can help it, though! You're 15, you can't be pregnant, no, this has– no– it– you–… This is a joke, right? You're messin' with me? I haven't seen you in five years, and you– this – is how you greet me back into your life?! No! This has GOT TO BE some a joke… right? Please tell me this is all a fucked-up joke!"
Tessa's language! and David's voice mixed in with Rachel's lower your voice! are steadily ignored as Rebecca stares Quinn down, daring her to answer in the negative, to confirm what, to her, would be the worst thing ever.
"She is pregnant." Rachel states after several very uncomfortable moments. "And it is not a joke, and if you do not check yourself, I will go Lima Heights on your ass, and I grew up with Santana Lopez, so I know exactly how that works."
Santana woops in the background, adding, "It is very inappropriate to do so right now, but I am so giving you a high five for that later, Estrella."
And…
Rebecca does not miss the barely concealed smile on Brittany's face as she lightly backhands Santana in the arm. Or the smirk on Noah's face, or, even, the grin that Finn – who Rebecca does not even know the name of – is trying to hide.
It infuriates her.
"Is this all some sort of joke to you people? Do you find it funny? She is 15! She can't be pregnant! The baby will ruin her life! She will be stuck here in this loser town for the rest of her life!" And then, before anyone can say a word, she waves her hand between Noah and Finn, who are sitting on the floor, in front of opposites ends of the couch.
"And which one of your two idiot boys knocked up baby sister, huh? Or do you even know, Quinnie? Don't tell me – you slept with both of them and you don't even know who the father is! You know what?! – I think you should just move in with Tessa and me!"
Santana mutters, "Dios mío," before saying, out loud, "Oh, you did not just call my girl a slut?! Please tell me I heard that wrong!"
Santana has to be held back by Brittany and Noah moves forward, not because of Quinn, but because he knows he will need to help Britt hold Santana back if she tries to lunge.
At Rebecca's words, however, Quinn's entire body language changes. And the mood in the room shifts violently.
Quinn looks to Rachel, alarmed, and panicked. This is one of her fears being shoved out into the open, and…
"Rebecca…"
Josiah is the one to speak. While Rachel tries – rushes to – calm the panicked girl at her side.
Josiah continues with, "We already discussed this. We have custody of Quinn, and this is where she is going to live."
But Rebecca is having none of it, and practically talks over him to make a very horribly wrong move with her next tirade,
"Come on! I am supposed to leave her here, where she is probably going to be convinced that she can have the baby? She can't have the baby! It will ruin her life! She can't go to school and raise a child and function like a normal person! She needs to give it up! Lucy, if you don't get up right now–"
As she speaks, or more like, sneers the words, she gets closer to Quinn and Rachel, and it prompts the others to draw closer also. They all have a bad feeling about this, which is why Rachel is shifting more by the second to the edge of the couch.
"No." Again, Quinn speaks. "I am not going anywhere with you–" SMACK!
Rebecca slaps her, and now, Rachel is actually up and in-between them in a split second. Rebecca is now towering over the younger girl on the couch, and Santana is being held back by Brittany, Noah, and Finn. While Josiah and David have to choose to go to Santana because even with two football players holding her back, it is still a struggle.
It all happens in a matter of milliseconds but that is not the most shocking thing.
"Back up, Rebecca! And don't you dare touch her again!"
"You are not the boss of me! You have always been a part of the problem. She was perfectly fine before she met you, and then you come into her life and fuck it up even more! She was FINE! And all you do is baby her and feed into this anxiety shit and–" SMACK!
Okay… so she is definitely going to regret that later. But right now, the adrenaline is coursing through her body and she can feel nothing but red-hot rage.
Rebecca is stunned for about 4 seconds as she holds her cheek.
"You did not just do that!"
"You've always been jealous of me, Rebecca!" Rachel yells. "Always. Her anxiety is real, no matter what you want to believe. No matter how many times you tell her "just get over it" or "it's in the past; let it go", no matter how many times she hears those words, her anxiety is still going to be there. It is not her choice that her body and mind are able to find the comfort she so desperately needs through me, but that is how it is."
She sighs, signaling to everyone to just… take a breath, and adds, in a softer voice, "You have always been jealous, but it is not something she can help. Please, stop being controlling right now, Becca, and just be the big sister she needs."
Remember what I said earlier about the most shocking moment?
Yeah, well… that comes when Rebecca returns the slap. And then, right in the middle of Rachel's cheek stinging and the commotion going wild around her, Rebecca tries to reach around the Diva to do… something… to Quinn. Rachel holds up her arms to block her, and the middle Fabray not-so-gently grabs both of her wrists to try and yank her out of the way
And, you see, a grade-3 sprain is not something you want to be grabbed. Or yanked.
Or touched with any feeling heavier than a feathery touch, but that is beside the point…
So when Rachel nearly doubles over in pain, Quinn is up in a flash, and in between her sister and best friend so fast that Rebecca literally stumbles backwards.
"FINN!" Brittany yells to him. "Take her to the kitchen, NOW. Santana, follow them – NO – go with them and make sure she is ok, NOW, Santana!" She is yelling over the complete chaos and fighting with Santana on this is not something she needs, and it is only when the Latina sees Finn carrying Rachel out of the room that she reacts.
She helps him get her out and they are nearly out of the room when they hear Quinn say, in a voice that will chill them to the bone from now until they die,
"If you ever touch Rachel again, I will make Sue Sylvester look like a kitten chasing a butterfly. You think I can't protect her because I don't speak, then you OBVIOUSLY do not know me at all."
Then, she shocks them all with her next words, "And per your other demand, I will not be giving the baby up. I will keep the baby, and I will finish school, graduate, and go to college!"
Rebecca scoffs, but before she can say anything, Tessa is practically dragging her fuming soon-to-be maybe ex-fiancée out of the living room and the house, and to their car.
I don't know what is wrong with me… I wanted Rebecca to be nice, – she IS nice – I promise – but this happened instead. Also… the baby was mentioned, so…
You can find the extended version of this over in Snapshots. It will be the aftermath, everyone in the kitchen, checking on Rachel, etc. Just look for this chapter's corresponding title (it will be Thanksgiving pt. 1 – extended).
Also, what do you think about Brittana happening early? As in, before the end of Sophomore year/over the summer-type early? Cause honestly? I'm all kinds of amped up and excited to write it, and I had a reviewer ask about Santana maybe dating someone but like, I'm all for Brittana this early if you guys are cool with it. I will do as closely as possible the canon storyline of Santana's coming out, and Finn outing her in the hallway, etc. Just let me know! :)
Up next: part 2 of this one. Two more new characters are introduced.
Then: part 3 of this one. The new character I have been talking about for an eternity is FINALLY introduced.
After that: We finally move away from the month of November, and go 2 weeks into December. It is a surprise chapter, and sort of introduces an important character – someone very near and dear to all the families, but especially the Lopez Family.
Please review and let me know what you thought! :) Stay safe out there. Remember to wash your hands, stay home if you are able to, and keep good health habits!
