Boris Yeltsin: Thank you. It was a very sad one, and a little difficult to write. I have a cousin who was supposed to be born in 2017. Woodrow Conner would be turning 3 years old in July, but was born sleeping just a couple of weeks before his due date. :( However, my cousin and her husband got their happy ending when their son, the youngest of what would have been 6, Richard Oakley was born, back in March.
Isa Yodice12: Thank you! Yeah, I enjoyed that part. It is easy to write crazy things like that when it is a little kid thinking it.
Gwennie49: Thanks for the review. I plan on doing that with several of the kids that have been lost (like Marianna, and Finn's dad). :)
nobodyelse101official: Thank you for your review. And welcome! I am glad you are enjoying the story. This story will, most likely, end at season 1, though it depends on whether people want me to continue through S. 3, or not. And yes, Burt and Carole are going to get married. As for Kurt having a sister, please let me know if you'd like to build her profile! :)
Welcome to my new followers Enecia (favoriter), MrsJRichter, and PetaKilljoy. And my new favoriter camebi.
Reminders: Lydia and Malachi are Judith and Josiah's parents. That means they are Quinn and Rachel's grandparents. (Words in italic and parentheses) is Quinn speaking to Rachel in Morse Code.
Notes: So, Quinn is meeting Lydia and Malachi officially as her grandparents on Christmas Day. And this will the leadup to preparing her for that. It will skip around for several days, and just be kind of fluffy.
Notes 2: I really enjoyed doing another pregnancy craving for Quinn. Hush Puppies and Sprite is actually what I would like right now, though with everything closed, there is nowhere to get it. :/
Enjoy! :)
Quinn is 15 weeks, 1 day pregnant
3 days later – December 11th, 2009
It begins on Friday the eleventh, exactly 14 days before Christmas.
Lydia and Malachi Brown, also known as, Rachel and Quinn's grandparents, are making a trip down for Christmas.
They had wanted to come last month. For Thanksgiving, for before Thanksgiving. They wanted to drive the three hours down as soon as they heard what that fucking asshole did to their youngest granddaughter.
But, of course, Josiah and David had shot that idea down. No matter how much Josiah would have loved to see his parents during the entire month of November… He knew that Quinn's anxiety was just too high.
He knows that any one of these panic or anxiety attacks, or any one of the nightmares that he knows both Rachel and Quinn, most certainly, are having can cause a miscarriage. Even if, now, Quinn is 15 weeks pregnant, which means the "risk" of miscarriage has decreased, she is still likely, being 15, being so tiny, being so anxiety riddled, being under so much pressure, worrying about so many things…
He knows.
So, Lydia and Malachi were told, and agreed, to wait.
Wait for the phone call from their granddaughter (Rachel).
Wait for the 'ok' from Josiah and David.
They had to just… wait.
And they cannot even begin to describe the feeling of getting the phone call two days ago, which consisted of Rachel crying, but also saying, she said she wants you to come for Christmas.
But they prepare her for it.
Because even though she asked for it, anxiety is a fucking bitch. And that fucking voice will wait until moments before their scheduled arrival before bombarding her with negative thoughts and taunts and all other shit.
So, they prepare her. They do it the same way Michael and Jennifer prepare Amara – by mentioning it day-by-day, little-by-little.
It begins on the eleventh, after school, at home, in the basement, where they will, most likely, spend the entire weekend. They only have approximately 8 weekdays left of school, and 13 days until Christmas Eve.
Jennifer and Michael are a big part of this. They help Rachel – because she may be Rachel, the only person who knows Quinn better than anyone else; the only one who can navigate the blonde's emotions and moods and needs better than she can navigate her actual house – but she is still Rachel.
The girl who is only 15. And the girl who doesn't know how to do this. It was so much easier when they were five. When Quinn was silent because of her SM and anxiety, not because her mind has shut down due to the abuse she endured; due to literally being beaten with a belt, and God only knows what else.
So, Michael and Jennifer help her. Though, they warn, what works for Amara may not work for Q. 'Mara can be told, in advance, about something happening. Then, they mention it little by little, speaking about it a few minutes a day, having a countdown calendar, etc. This helps her body and mind prepare for what would normally be an anxiety-inducing event.
*Rachel & Quinn's house – the basement*
They prepare her for it and honestly, it goes fairly smoothly.
Jen and Michael sit the girls down, and ease Rachel (and Josiah & David) into doing this alone with Quinn.
They gather in the basement so that, when this is over, the adults can leave, and the kids can stay to cool off. Her wanting to actually see Malachi and Lydia is a good thing, and they make sure she knows this conversation is going to be a positive one.
"You're not in trouble, honey," Jennifer tells her gently. "We just want to… well,… We thought we would help Rach, and your dads, to know how to help you. I am proud of you, Quinn, for wanting to see your– Lydia and Malachi." As she speaks, she is suddenly aware that she does not know if Quinn is comfortable with them being referred to as "her" grandparents.
Did Quinn ask to see them as her grandma and grandpa? Or was it asking to see them as Rachel's Nana and Papa?
Jennifer knows, all the parents know, really, that the only grandparents Quinn had growing up was… his… parents. They have been out and about with Santana and Britt, like at the grocery store, for example. They have seen the harsh way that Roger and Lynnette Fabray treated Quinn.
One instance is when Jennifer had Santana, Britt, Lexie, and San's older brother, Gabriel, with her at Wal*Mart. She was, thankfully, alone at the moment she witnessed as Roger and Lynnette scolded for Quinn when she was unable to do something simple, like saying 'thank you' to the cashier who complemented her on her dress.
Jennifer did not understand the point of Lynnette uttering, You ungrateful, stupid brat. Obviously, your mother and I need to have a strict talking to if she thinks this is any way to raise her children.
Now, you may think this is bad, but what really made Jennifer want to step in, and slap this hateful bitch, was when she added, God is so disappointed in you right now, Lucy.
Two reasons that pissed her off – 1, she knew Quinn absolutely despised being called that by literally anyone but Abigale and Rachel. And 2, why bring God into it? What did religion have to do with Quinn's anxiety – yes, that is right – her anxiety – preventing her from being able to speak to a complete and utter stranger?
Anyway, back to the topic at hand…
"That was a very brave choice," She continues. "And I am proud of you for it."
Praise, though small and in bits, is something that, surprisingly, helps Quinn more than Amara. That is one way their SM (Selective Mutism) is different.
"You know how Jen and I help 'Mara prepare for things?"
Michael asks this from his place next to Jennifer, on the smaller couch that was placed in the basement, while, of course, the four girls share the "L" couch.
Quinn tightens her grip on Rachel's wrists. It is a silent, imperceptible answer that only Rachel has the knowledge of. It sucks – her SM making it so Quinn cannot even do a non-verbal answer as simple as nodding – but they push through, and Rachel gives an interpreted answer to Michael.
And together, along with Josiah and David, they explain and help the four teens come up with a plan.
Step 1: They – Britt, Santana, Rach, Josiah, and David – will mention each day about Lydia and Malachi coming up on Christmas Day. This will be in the afternoons, on the weekends, etc.
Step 2: In-between those times, the girls will talk to Quinn about it. With Amara, they remind her, and then make a list of things that she would like to show someone. So for this, they may have Quinn take, for example, a Science test that she scored an 86% on, and she would show Malachi and Lydia that. That way, the anticipation of them coming can be made to be a positive thing.
Step 3: Also during this time, they will be calling Malachi and Lydia. Just once every couple of days, even if it is just 5 or 10 minutes at a time.
And, with all of that decided, two hours have officially passed. Jen and Michael decide to retire upstairs. Lexie is having a sleepover with a friend, while Amara and Maddie are having a playdate/sleepover, as well, so Jen and Michael are able to take a break for once.
The next day – Saturday, December 12
*Santana's bedroom – around noon*
Today has been a good day so far.
They are Santana's house, instead of being directly in Quinn's comfort zone. She actually requested it. They are going to give calling Lydia and Malachi a shot. Rachel is so proud of her. They talked, on and off, for the morning after Rachel suggested calling them today. She did not expect her to agree, not this earlier.
But still, here they are.
"Alrighty," Santana enters the room armed with "supplies" aka two other cravings for Quinn, drinks, and a ton of completely-not-healthy snacks that Britt and Q may or may not have pouted their way into getting Rachel to agree to eating.
"Britt-Britt, here is your stuff." She hands the dancer a bag, which she gets all to herself. It has Midol, candy, and a bottle of Sprite – the usual things that Britt gets when she is having "girl" issues.
"Next, we have chocolate for Rach," Santana throws the candy bar at her, forgetting for a moment that, not only is Quinn laying with her head in Rachel's lap, but also, she cannot catch due to her casted hand, which means the vegan chocolate ends up smacking the blonde in the face.
There is silence for several moments while Quinn glares at her and Santana does not know what to say and Britt and Rach just watch with (poorly) masked amusement on their faces. Also, Miranda may or may not be glaring at her big sister, from her place in Rachel's lap.
After the tense (but so very enjoyable) silence, Quinn picks up the candy bar, and chucks it back at Santana.
"… I totally deserved that." She then picks it up, and gently tosses it purposefully to the side of Rachel.
"Anyway, we also have Sour Patch Kids for me, Skittles for me, and–" She looks in the Wal*Mart bag, which is one of five, and then suddenly looks very happy. "Ooh! Smarties!"
She went with her mom earlier to town, but stopped at the vegan store in the Strip Mall next to Wal*Mart. Therefore, she did not know what kind of stuff Carmen had bought them from the candy isle at Wal*Mart.
"Okay, you know what? Let's just do this–" She dumps all four bags onto the bed, doing a little "ta-da" motion that makes Miranda (who is sitting in Rachel's lap) giggle.
"This is mine and I will eat it when you are not here–" She lays aside a Hershey with Almonds bar, since Quinn is allergic to nuts. "Sour Patch Kids and Smarties are mine, but this is for you, Q." She hands her the M&Ms. "And this one is yours."
Of all things, – though she used the excuse "the baby wants it", – Quinn asked for Sour Patch Kids, M&Ms, Tootsie Rolls, and Twizzlers. It is obviously a craving as she opens all of them at once, and takes a piece from each bag, grinning when Santana just… looks… at her, and makes a show of placing each piece into her mouth.
Santana has no problem with the four candies. But never in a million years, would she combine Sour Patch with anything chocolate, or with Twizzlers.
"Right, ok."
Rachel actual chokes on her own candy as she tries not to laugh at Santana's face.
"Mamí bought the ingredients for your Hush Puppies," The Latina informs that. This was Quinn's second craving. And, of course, that info perks both blondes up, because it was Brittany who originally said she wanted some Hush Puppies and Sprite. "Yeah, yeah, I figured that would make you two happy. We are having them for lunch."
She goes on to separate the other bags of candies. Rachel gets, along with the chocolate bar, three packs of Air Heads, a package of SweetTarts, and Swedish Fish.

*Later*
Carmen sticks her head into their bedroom a few minutes after having put Miranda down in her Nursery for her nap.
"Hey, girls. Leftovers are in the kitchen if you get hungry, Papí and I will be in the basement with Mattie and Maya. And Miranda should be asleep for about an hour or so. If she wakes up, just come get one of us."
They 'ok' that, and the older woman leaves, closing the door slightly.
Rachel moves to get off the bed and grab her phone. They are going to give calling Lydia and Malachi a try, and right now, San is preparing the DVD player for Nemo, so they can watch it as soon as the phone call is finished.
However, while Quinn is in the bathroom, brushing her hair and teeth, and Britt is helping Rach brush her own hair, and about five minutes after Carmen left, a small motion gets Brittany's attention.
It's Miranda.
She is sitting in Santana's doorway, decidedly not asleep, with her pacifier, her pink blanket, and her stuffed llama.
The dancer points to show Rachel, and she tries – really, she does – not to laugh as she says, "Hey, T, uh… Does Andie sleep crawl?"
It confuses her.
Of course it confuses her.
But all she has to do is raise her head and she can see her baby sister.
"Miranda Danielle!"
The toddler grins, waving her hand, or at least, attempting to wave, babbling happily.
"Sissy!" She signs, reaching out for Santana as the older girl walks over.
"What are you doing?" She asks. "You are supposed to be sleeping, Mijá. This is not sleeping." Santana picks her up and heads out of the room, which immediately pisses her off. Even at 13 months, Miranda knows whatever the big girls are doing is much more fun than taking a nap.
She fights her big sister the entire way back to her Nursery and, because she is not speaking yet, her babbles becomes garbled as she points behind Santana, trying to get her to turn back around. Santana goes downstairs to tell her mom that Andie is still awake after placing her in her crib.
Unfortunately, this goes on for over half an hour. Miranda is so wound up that eventually, Carmen just has to shut her Nursery door, and lets her tire herself out from the tantrum.
Finally, though, the girls are able to settle in the bedroom, and Rachel then does it.
Quinn asks for San and Britt to not be in the room. She has reached her limit of bravery today, and now needs this moment to be just her and Rachel. They understand, of course, and go downstairs until the call is finished.. The phone rings a total of four times before it clicks, and someone is answering…
"Hello?"
"Hi, Nana!" Rachel greets. "Um… Lucy and I are–… It's us calling."
She looks to Quinn and finds green eyes watching her. And she smiles, holding out a hand because she needs to make sure touching is ok right now.
"Oh, hello, girls!" Lydia greets back cheerfully. She is a little surprised, as her son had told her about Quinn currently not speaking (to anyone but Rachel). So, she was not expecting a phone call this early. "How are you two?"
She honestly has no idea what to say. It has been so long since she laid eyes on Quinn. The girls were just eight. Little bitty things each sporting their own versions of gap-tooth smiles and in that phase where little girls are both too old and just young enough for pigtails.
Now, they are all teenagers – 15-year-olds – and the only one she has seen since then, of course, is Rachel.
"We're doing… all right." Rachel answers. "We are at San's right now, and we are going to spend the day just… eating junk food and watching movies." She speaks into the phone, but says it to Quinn, who is still watching her intensely, and she feels – but is missing it – that her girl is trying to tell her something.
Quinn ducks down, her face pressed against the pillow, and it alarms her, that feeling increasing when she tries to swipe her hair out of her face, and she feels the tears.
"Hey! LuLu, what's wrong?"
Lydia asks it, too, concerned at the change of tone her granddaughter is using. Rachel tells her, "Just a moment, Nana." And goes back to Quinn.
"Lucy…" She honestly does not know what is going. Usually, she is able to read her body language and just know, but not now. And it scares her, really. She worries that this is her anxiety but when she asks if they need to hang up the phone, and try this again in a few days, Quinn snaps her head up.
And this is obvious.
The answer to that being 'no'.
But it still confuses her, so she asks, her tone of voice edging on begging, "Then talk to me, Leone Coraggioso."
It takes a moment but eventually, Quinn reaches for her hand. Her left one, still in that ace bandage, while her right is balancing the cell phone.
Quinn taps out, (I'm sorry.)
It calms her instantly, when this is immediately followed by, (Stupid hormones.)
It's funny, really. How two words can make everything all better. Rachel relaxes, even if it is just so. She wishes everything was fixed. The stress is really starting to get to her, she can feel it throughout her entire body.
But…
She pushes it away for the moment. And they go back to talking to Lydia.
"Alright, Nana, we can continue this, but I just want you to know that we may need to hang up abruptly."
Rachel tries to be polite about it, but also firm enough to let her know that manners may come second to making sure Quinn is, well… about as ok as she can be.
"Tell me something good, girls." The older woman suggests, just trying to keep this conversation about as… calm… and on a "simple" subject for as long as possible. "Your dad tells me you are in Glee Club? Can you tell what, exactly, that is? Is it like Show Choir?"
"Yes, Nana. Show Choir is exactly what it is. We preform against other schools' Clubs, in competitions. The first competition is called Sectionals. At the end, the Judges choose three groups to go up on stage. From there, we either place First, Second, or Third. We will also get a trophy."
As she speaks, Quinn moves to lay on her back. Rachel is leaning against the headboard, with a pillow in her lap, and one lying against her crisscrossed legs. That one is what Quinn is using, and she moves so that she resting flat on her back, having an upside down view of her girl.
She watches Rachel be in "her zone".
This goes on for almost 20 minutes. It sucks, really, that the conversation ends because of Quinn. This time, the tears are not due to hormones alone.
It is one of those unreliable and very unwanted "symptoms" of anxiety – the overwhelming feeling can come at any time, out of the blue, and following a perfectly calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Just as warned, Rachel immediately is hanging up the phone, and moving to calm Quinn down. She hates this so much. She hates that they have reset their progress and now, Quinn is exactly as she was 10 years ago, at the beginning of Kindergarten – anxiety-ridden, mute, and with no way to get that voice in her to shut up.
However, now it is worse. She is pregnant, she was severely abused in those 10 years, especially the last 4, she has so much fucking anxiety, and her so-called parents are actually the least-deserving people for that title. At least, he is.
Brittany and Santana come back up about 10 minutes later. Quinn has calmed down some, though she does lose her lunch, and comes back from the bathroom even more exhausted than before.
Morning sickness is a real bitch, especially when it comes at 2:30 in the afternoon.
The three of them – Britt, Quinn, and Rach – share the bed at the top, while Santana lays out parallel to end of the bed, and presses play for the movie.
Nemo, it turns out, even though it makes both Quinn and Britt cry, is exactly what they need. It helps them relax, and they enjoy the rest of the afternoon with the fireplace lit, and more Disney movies, until it is time for dinner.
(Author's note, let's just pretend Santana has a fireplace in her bedroom, and that it's really big and spacious.)
*Monday morning– December 14*
School is a bitch.
Too many people, too much pressure…
It happens to both Rachel and Santana.
Honestly, the adults were expecting Quinn, and maybe even Britt.
But not Rachel and Santana.
Because those two are more alike than anyone would be willing to admit, which means they both bottle up their own feelings, worries, anxiety, and exhaustion.
Which is why it shouldn't have been a surprise… but it still was.
So now?
Now, on the Monday before Christmas break, just 11 days until Christmas Day?
A combination of homeschooling and online schooling.
For the five of them – the girls, plus Noah.
It hurts Quinn, to see her girl breakdown at the sound of the alarm, in tears and incoherence, and not be able to understand what the fuck is going on.
That is, until she is finally able to understand… Rachel is not ok.
Not at all.
Her arm hurts, her head is pounding with four months' worth of not fucking sleeping, she absolutely dreads going to school. Having to keep her emotions in check for eight hours, having to make teachers and students do not do anything to set off Quinn's own anxiety…
She is 15 years old, and…
It has simply became… too much.
So, Tuesday morning begins the five teenagers' online school program. Not Monday, because that day was used to get it all set up.
It is so much easier. No dress code, lounging on the bed or around the dining room table, eating popsicles…
Yeah, that last one is curtesy of Brittany Pierce.
*Noon – Wednesday, December 16*
"That doesn't make any sense!" Brittany huffs out to Noah as he tries to explain a math problem to her.
"Look, it's simple! You just do to the other side what you do to this side!"
And maybe, maybe, having Noah Puckerman explaining things was not the best course of action.
"My hearing is not the problem, Puckerman! It's my brain that does not understand!"
The dancer adds in a rough tap to the side Noah's head.
If they had known how much this helps Quinn's anxiety levels, Josiah and David would have suggested this back in November. This way is so much easier. Quinn can finish an entire day's worth of work in just a few hours. She can stay at this level and, slowly, they can work getting her back to public school…
With this level of relaxation.
Where she smiles and laughs and, silently, helps Santana with a problem.
Where she begs Rachel to finish one more worksheet, because that way, they will "have more TV time later".
They check in on the girls and Noah at lunch time. Both men getting away for a break. They walk into a scene that neither of them ever thought would happen – not this soon after what took place just six weeks ago.
They can see the dining room in a place that the kids do not notice them.
They are all gathered at the dining room table – Santana is… laying… on top of it, with Zeke on her stomach. Around her, books, notebooks, pens, highlights, and a laptop are scattered across the table, along with Rachel, who has a pillow for her arm, Quinn beside her, and Noah and Brittany directly across from them.
Quinn is giggling at Noah and Brittany fighting while Rachel is shaking her, throwing her hands up in what become the universal sign for "I give up. it's useless" when around the other four.
But, that all takes a turn when Noah proves just how… freaking idiotic 15-year-old boys really are.
"Well, maybe your brain should be smarter!"
He understands the second that last letter sound is out of his mouth.
"I– I'm sorry, Britt. I didn't mean that."
Noah does not even dare look to his right, where Santana is beside Brittany. However, the verbal lashing from said girl does not happen because Brittany places her right hand on Santana's arm, to silence the threat that is already one syllable out of her mouth.
Her left hand is used to smack Noah in the back of the head, followed by Britt using a tone of voice that is absolutely terrifying on her, because this is Brittany, and she just does not speak like this daily…
"Watch your words, Noah Puckerman. I don't care if you are my best friend, I will still have you laid out in the floor in two seconds flat. You think dance is the only thing we teach at the Studio? Say anything like that again,–" She pulls on his ear, jerking him closer, and in the corner of his eye, he can see both Rachel and Quinn glaring at him.
"Say that again, and I will kick… your… ass. Understood?"
Noah gives a very clear answer of 'yes', and Brittany lets him go.
That is when…
The five of them finally notice David and Josiah.
And neither man looks very happy.
"That was not a smart thing to say, Noah," Josiah says in that voice that means he is disappointed, and has never failed to make Noah, or anyone else, feel guilty.
"I know, Sir. And I am sorry; I just wasn't thinking, Britt. You know me. I would never even think something like that. I guess… I guess the stress has gotten to me, but not even that would be an excuse."
He looks to her. This blue-eyed girl who became part of his world at nine years old. He swore, as much as he could at that age, that there would no one who turned out that sparkle in Brittany's eyes for as long as he was able to keep it lit.
She hugs him – though, he would say, he is not deserving – and whispers that it is forgotten, but underneath it all?
He can see that pain.
The pain that he put there.
He curses himself. He broke his promise. He would have to do better at being her protector.
"Let's eat, shall we?" David suggests, after several moments of silence, feeling particularly emotional himself, and seeing that the kids would not benefit from this being a topic of conversation any further.
*Afternoon – Thursday, December 17*
"Yes, Nana, it is so much better than actual school. My goodness, you would not believe it!"
Rachel sounds absolutely ecstatic as she speaks to her grandmother, and honestly, Lydia feels herself becoming so much lighter, because Rachel would not be this happy, unless Quinn was this happy.
"I am so glad, sweetheart. Maybe this is what was needed. Maybe, now, you can really work on everything again. You will get through this, sweetie, I just know. And, whenever Lucy– sorry, I mean, Quinn. Whenever Quinn is ready, Papa Kai and I will be here for any support you five need."
Rachel smiles down at said girl. And she gets smile in return. Green eyes sparkle with flecks of brown watch her. But then…
A noise catches the younger girl's attention, and a commotion in the hallway cuts Rachel off from her next statement.
"Matthew John Lopez!"
That voice is unmistakably Santana.
It is followed by a little boy streaking naked down the hallway right outside her bedroom, looking to be holding at least one of the cats.
"Get back here!"
Following that sentence is Quinn hopping off the bed. And Rachel knows – oh, how she knows, – that, that mischievous look in her eyes means she is going to make things worse.
Which is why the Diva immediately jumps up, offering a rushed, "Nana, I have to go. I believe Santana's little brother is trying to break out of bath time."
She does not hear the response from Lydia, though it would have been the older woman laughing. Clearly, she understood exactly what that meant.
From the kitchen, as Josiah and David enjoy a nice cup of warm, delicious coffee, with Carlos and Carmen, and Michael, – who is here waiting for Jennifer to arrive for dinner later – and as they watch the kids running passed the kitchen doorway, one of them asks,
"Do you think we should…" He does a little hand motion. "Go and see if they need help?"
Their answer comes when they hear, distinctly, Rachel shouting, "Lucy Quinn Fabray!" Which is followed instantly by the scream of a young child, the breaking of… something (probably expensive), Santana cussing in Spanish, and then…
Silence.
Giving up on his earlier statement, David switches to,
"Well… Who would like another cup of coffee?"
I wasn't sure how I was going to end this but I figured, what better way than to show how life really is with three teenagers, a 4-year-old boy, and five cats?
So, plans are changed. This is about how the next few chapters will go…
Next up: Rachel's 16th birthday!
Then: December 21 will introduce two characters, as well as reveal a very special Christmas present that Noah got Quinn (I think you will love it!)
After that: Christmas Eve (relaxing! Movies, pajamas, junk food all day!)
Finally: Christmas Day! Lydia and Malachi make their appearance. Quinn is officially introduced to them as "their granddaughter" instead of "the best friend of their granddaughter"
Important notes:
1. I have a poll up on my profile. It is about who you would like to see Kurt with in the future.
2. I keep forgetting to mention, but this is a reminder about the Community I made for my Glee stories, if anyone wants to go and follow it. :)
3. I will be doing a Snapshot for this chapter. December 13 is both Alex, Finn's little sister, and their dad, Christopher's birthday. I will be doing a birthday celebration/memorial thing for the Hudson Family.
