Author's Note- With the holiday season, I've been really busy lately and it's bound to get worse. Plus, the next chapter is the wedding, and I've been struggling to write some personal vows for Harry & Pansy, but I think I've just about got it. Hopefully, anyway.

I'm not sure if I'll have anything else to post before the New Year, so if not, here's hoping 2022 is a little better for all of us. Happy Holidays!

June 15th, 1997

Grimmauld Place was looking a lot nicer than Harry had remembered. He wondered if much of that was due to the new Mrs. Black's efforts. He didn't know Kathryn very well, but he imagined that she must have been more inclined to decorating than Sirius. From everything he'd seen there in the past, his godfather would have been happy to burn the house to the ground.

Speaking of whom, he was the one who had answered the door and was now riling up the portrait of his awful mother.

"Why don't you tear that thing down?" Harry asked.

"There's a permanent sticking charm on it," Sirius sighed as the portrait continued to insult all of them.

"So?" Pansy raised an eyebrow. "I can think of at least three ways to get rid of the old bitch."

"How dare you!" Walburga screamed.

"Really?" Sirius asked.

"Basilisk venom can destroy anything," Pansy smirked. "I would have thought you would remember that. Or, if you were feeling more destructive, you could always tear out a chunk of the wall."

"Harry has proven himself to be skilled with the mending charm," Sirius added with a grin.

"True," Pansy agreed. "Finally, there's always the muggle solution. Paint remover. You would have to be a little careful with the chemicals, but it would be a nice bit of irony for such a blood purist maniac."

Sirius laughed. "Harry, I think I love your wife."

"She is pretty amazing, isn't she?" he smiled as he threw his arm around her.

"Come on, let's go upstairs."

"Filth! Defilers! Begone from my home!"

"I'll definitely lend a hand in knocking her down if you want," Harry offered as they climbed the stairs and headed for the drawing room.

"I'll probably take you up on it. I do like that paint remover idea though."

"You're welcome," Pansy snickered.

"Our guests from France should be here soon," Sirius added as he opened the door.

"Kathryn, you look even more lovely than I remember," Harry said with a charming smile. "Now if you could only have some of those good looks rub off on Sirius."

"Hey!"

"I shall just have to be beautiful enough for the both of us," she grinned.

"You've definitely got that covered, love," Sirius replied as he leaned in and kissed his wife.

Flames in the chimney roared to life and soon deposited the Lovegoods.

"Pansy!" Luna squealed and ran across the room.

Xeno chuckled as he followed his daughter. "She's really been looking forward to this weekend."

"Halfway through her OWLs? I can't say I blame her. Good to see you again." Harry shook his hand.

"You as well, Harry. It was a pleasant surprise to hear that you and Pansy were back home."

"Yeah, it seemed like a good time for a break," he shrugged. "We've got to be back in France for the wedding soon anyway."

"Where have your travels taken you lately?"

"We've spent the last month going up and down the Mediterranean coast. France, Spain, Italy, Greece, and a few islands too."

"Okay, everybody," Sirius raised his voice to get their attention. "Let's all come over to this side of the room. The portkey should be here any second."

"Oh, goodie!" Luna had a huge smile on her face. "I've really missed Flora and Hestia. I hope they've enjoyed their time at Beauxbatons."

For a couple of minutes they watched and waited.

Harry started getting a little antsy. "Since there are so many of you here, why don't I go ahead and pick up Steven and Vanessa?"

"Alright, but don't take too long," Pansy said.

"Otherwise, we'll have to get started on the drinks without you!" Sirius announced with a smile.

Harry laughed and disappeared with a small pop.

"I hope they haven't had any problems," Kathryn said. "I remember one time when I took an international portkey with my family, and there had been a mix up at the office. We ended up in Sweden instead of Spain."

"So, what... only a thousand miles off?" Pansy smirked.

"Even worse, it was in the middle of winter," Kathryn laughed. "I don't know how the Scandinavians can stand it; I thought Hogwarts was cold when it got all snowy."

"And we're back!" Harry said, one arm each wrapped around the waists of Steven and Vanessa Frost.

"Wow," Steven said as he looked around. "We're really in London now?"

"Yeah, the dodgy part," Sirius laughed as he came over and offered a hand to his guests. "Sirius Black, owner of this particularly awful place."

"It looks pretty good," Steven replied.

"That's all my lovely wife's work, I can assure you."

"So, how is princess Grace?" Pansy asked as she hugged Vanessa.

"Thankfully she loves my mum. I can really use a night off."

"Our daughter just turned one," Steven explained to Sirius.

"Lucky you. I remember when Harry was that small. James was already teaching him how to fly."

"Really?"

"Yeah, they make toy brooms for little ones. They only go so fast and fly no more than a foot or so off the ground."

Steven laughed. "So, I guess it's like the magical equivalent of a tricycle?"

"Just about, yeah," Harry agreed before turning to his godfather. "Still no word from France?"

"Nope," Sirius shook his head. "Although they're now fashionably late. Leave it to the French-"

He was cut off as a group of people suddenly appeared, Fleur landing gracefully as ever and her beau Isaak standing next to her. Hestia had stumbled to her knees and Flora helped her up.

"Bonjour!" Fleur said as she came over and kissed Pansy on the cheeks. "You are in luck today, Pansy."

"How so?"

"Maman was able to keep Gabrielle from trying to crash zis party."

Pansy snorted. "That could have been funny in a way. But it was probably for the best. Especially as Sirius is bound to start handing out drinks pretty soon, and I don't feel up to keeping her away from the booze."

"Too true," Fleur laughed. "I can just imagine 'ow angry she is at 'not being old enough' for zis party-"

"I should send your poor mother a bottle of wine," Pansy giggled. "Let me introduce you and Isaak to a couple of my friends. This is Vanessa and Steven Frost."

"It's nice to meet you," Vanessa said before elbowing Steven in the side.

"Uh, yes, very nice," he muttered.

Pansy and Fleur looked at each other and laughed.

"Try not to be too angry with Steven," Harry said to Vanessa. "Fleur is a Veela. She is literally supernaturally beautiful. Normal guys can't help but find her overwhelming."

Isaak chuckled. "I've been dating her for a long time, and she can still take my breath away, which I do not mean as a figure of speech. That was almost dangerous one time-"

"Are you sure you want to mention zat?" Fleur asked with an arched eyebrow. "Because I can assure you zat Pansy and I will be quite glad to speak of all sorts of salacious details for ze rest of ze night if you get us started."

"Ooh! I vote for that!" Luna giggled.

"Of course you would, sweetie," Pansy laughed as she wrapped her arm around Luna's waist. "I've missed you."

"Me too."

Harry turned away and Sirius handed him a glass. "What's this?"

"Just a little champagne to start," his godfather replied. "I didn't want to get anything too strong out for starters."

"That's surprisingly reserved for you."

"Yeah, I figured I should save that for a little later." Sirius took a drink and then winked at his wife. "Besides, I'm going to be careful about how much I drink so I can still have a fun ending much later tonight. I am missing out on strippers, you know? I should have been a worse influence on you, Harry."

"Don't worry about me," Harry laughed. "Pansy promised me some fun after the party too."

"Yeah, but strippers-"

"I never did tell you about how we celebrated after the first task, did I?"

"No," Sirius replied. "What about it?"

"Pansy likes to dance," Harry teased.

"And... ?"

"And, one of the many reasons I wanted to marry her," he sighed. "Believe me, she's better than any of those strippers from your bachelor party."

Sirius patted him on the back. "Your mum would have been proud of you."

"Really?"

"Yes, Lily didn't end up with the best of impressions after your dad's bachelor party," Sirius chuckled. "She had to bail us out of jail the next day."

"You and dad?"

"All of us. Even the rat, unfortunately." Sirius shook himself. "Some muggles don't approve of public intoxication."

"How silly of them."

"Silly of who?" Hestia asked as she and her sister came over.

"Should you be drinking that?" Sirius asked, motioning to the champagne in her glass.

"We're celebrating, aren't we?" Flora countered. "Besides, we're sixteen, the same age as Harry."

"I'm still technically your guardian for a few more months," Sirius shrugged. "It felt like something I needed to say."

"Thank you, Sirius," Hestia replied.

"How have you two liked Beauxbatons?" Harry asked.

"This last year was very nice," she answered. "That first term was harder, since we were having to get used to everything. But, with Riddle out of the way, we could finally relax."

"Although Crouch did escape," Flora added. "I wonder what sort of trouble he's gotten into since then."

"I assume Alastor can handle it," Harry replied. "He's the best."

"Too bad he couldn't make it tonight," Sirius said. "I think it would have been amusing to see him among all these pretty, young ladies."

"You had better be talking about me," Kathryn said as she hugged the Carrows and winked at Harry. "Is he trying to get in trouble over here, Harry?"

"Not too much." Harry glanced at Sirius and then smirked. "But the party's just getting started."

"And he has to be a good example for us," Hestia teased.

"I'm glad to see you girls again," Kathryn said.

"Thank you, Mrs. Black," Flora replied.

"Don't be silly," she giggled. "If you can call the old dog Sirius, then you can call me Kathryn. Besides, I'm not that much older than you. Now, how did the exams go?"

"They weren't too bad," Hestia said. "Next year is bound to be a lot worse."

"How come?" Harry asked.

"They have one round of comprehensive testing at the end of sixth year in France," she replied. "Not like Hogwarts, with the OWLs and then the NEWTs later."

"Ah."

"I'm not too worried about them," Flora shrugged.

"Some of us are planning on careers that need certifications," Hestia teased. "We can't all be dueling champions."

"Dueling champion?" Harry asked.

"My dear sister won the school wide dueling tournament," Hestia beamed.

"As a fifth year? Nice job," Harry replied.

"I did have an advantage," Flora said. "Most of them weren't personally tutored by the one and only 'Slayer of Voldemort.' Thanks for that, by the way."

"You're welcome," he shrugged. "But you were naturally talented anyway. I'm sure I wasn't that much help."

"The extra practice was very helpful, even without your advice," she replied. "But you taught me more than you may have realized. A lot of your practical ideas about using and being aware of your environment are things that plenty of people don't necessarily think of when it comes to dueling. Too many people are just content to throw spells back and forth."

"Now she's thinking of trying to become a professional," Hestia added.

"That could be pretty cool," Sirius interjected. "I'd love to go to tournaments to cheer you on."

"That wouldn't be necessary," Flora shrugged.

"It's not about what's necessary," Sirius sighed. "You deserve to have someone in your corner."

Flora looked uncomfortable for a moment. "Thank you, Sirius."

"You're welcome." He pulled his wife closer and grinned at her. "Besides, it would give us more excuses to travel the world."

"This is why I married him," Kathryn giggled.

"Where did your dad go, sweetie?" Pansy asked.

Luna smiled. "I think he may have had a date of his own tonight."

"Really?"

"Yes, and I am very pleased about it."

Fleur nodded. "I would hate to see one of my parents be alone for so long."

"Precisely," Luna agreed. "I think he may have been waiting for me to grow up a bit. Now that I'm already doing my OWLs, I guess he's decided it's time to start thinking about that."

"Speaking of which... how do you think you've done?" Pansy asked.

"Fairly well," Luna said. "The best part is that I've done most of the really hard ones already. All I've got left are Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, Astronomy, and History."

"I never liked History lessons," Vanessa added.

"History of Magic is even worse," Luna replied.

"Really? I would think it would be more... interesting?"

"It doesn't help that the professor is a ghost who drones on and on," Pansy responded. "It's almost impossible to stay awake in that class."

"This last year, I had nap time just after lunch on Thursdays," Luna giggled. "That was nice since I had Astronomy later that night."

"So, what were the harder classes you've already taken?" Vanessa asked. "I'm trying to wrap my head around all this, since one day Grace will need to learn about magic."

"Well, Potions can be fairly hard," Luna answered.

"But dear old Sluggy is a great teacher," Pansy added.

"True. I just meant the course overall. Transfiguration and Runes were probably the hardest two. I'm better at Charms than those, and as for Defense, well... I did learn from Harry, so..." Luna shrugged.

"What do you mean?" Vanessa asked.

"Defense Against the Dark Arts is the full name of the class, and it's most often tied to all sorts of dangerous situations like fighting off magical beasts or battling against dark wizards," Luna replied. "Harry has had a ton of real world experience dealing with both of those things. He ran a club for a bunch of us, teaching us how to fight and how to survive when the Death Eaters were still on the loose-"

"Before 'Arry defeated most of zem," Fleur interjected with an amused chuckle.

"Really?" Vanessa asked.

"Remember how we told you that Harry's really famous? We weren't kidding," Pansy shook her head. "I wish he hadn't had to deal with so much of that crap, but in the end, we won the war."

"Harry is our hero," Luna explained. "He saved all our lives, on multiple occasions for some of us. Neither my father nor I would be here without him."

"Nor my sister," Fleur added.

"Harry made a habit out of saving me," Pansy said. "Of course, in a way I saved him too."

"Are we talking about how dashing Harry is?" Hestia asked as she came over to join them.

"More specifically, we're explaining to Vanessa how he saved us all," Luna replied.

"Oh. Well, Flora and I were both at that quidditch match, so we do owe him for that-"

"But I'm much more thankful for how he got rid of our parents," Flora cut in.

"He got rid of your parents?" Vanessa asked with a frown.

"They were Death Eaters," Flora scowled. "They deserved it."

Hestia sighed and wrapped her arm around her sister. "They were awful people. When Harry was kidnapped and tortured, they were there watching and cheering on their Dark Lord as he tried to murder our friend. They got hit by an explosive curse and killed that night. Harry and Pansy helped us afterwards; they were the ones who suggested Sirius becoming our guardian. And then Harry saved us again when he helped us flee to France."

Vanessa turned to Pansy. "You know, he left out a lot of this when he was telling Steven and I about some of his adventures over the last few years."

Pansy snorted. "Harry can be overly humble."

"Plus, he's terrible at telling stories," Luna added.

"He's getting a little better," Pansy countered. "He's still nowhere near you, sweetie, but then who is? It's too bad we haven't been around you as much lately. You haven't had any reason to practice your Aunty Luna for us."

"Aunty Luna?" Vanessa asked.

"She's already called dibs on being godmother whenever Harry and I have kids," Pansy smiled.

"Not only that," Luna said. "I've been talking to Madam Pomfrey about what sort of training I would need to become certified as a midwife."

"Really?" Pansy asked.

"Yes," Luna nodded. "It isn't too hard with magic involved."

"That sounds like it would have been useful for us," Vanessa shook her head. "Gracie's birth wasn't too bad though. Some magical spells to make things easier sounds pretty good."

"So, are you looking forward to Glastonbury in a couple of weeks?" Pansy asked.

"Yes," Vanessa grinned. "I'm not sure which I'm more excited for- the music, or getting a nice long break from being a mum. I love my daughter, but she can be exhausting."

"I hope you'll bring her for the wedding," Pansy said.

"Are you sure you want her there?" Vanessa asked. "A crying baby could be a big distraction from the ceremony."

"I could help," Luna suggested.

"What do you mean?"

"I could use a spell to help keep her quiet if I need to," Luna replied. "Or I could just keep her amused by making silly faces. Either way, your daughter could give me more practice for Aunty Luna time."

A couple of hours (and a few drinks) later, the guys were off in their own little corner of the room.

"So then, James told me that there was no way in hell he'd risk sleeping on the couch for a night," Sirius barked out a laugh. "He said Lily was way too randy while she was preggers."

Harry rolled his eyes. "You know I don't need to hear these things about my mum and dad, right?"

"Nonsense," Sirius replied. "It will toughen you up. Plus, you're the one who always bragged about how much time you spent shagging Pansy."

Isaak chuckled. "It sounds like you two got started earlier than most."

"We did."

Steven nodded. "We had no idea they were only... what, fourteen when we met?"

"Yeah, sounds right," Harry agreed. "We were cheating with glamour spells though, so that helped."

"Yeah, but you were just kids," Steven sighed. "God, I guess we were bad influences on you."

Sirius laughed. "So you were the ones that threw the party where they first got smashed, huh? I was jealous of that, you know. I wanted to be there the first time Harry had too much to drink."

"You're making up for it now," Harry winced as he took another swallow of firewhisky. "I might have to stop and use a sobering charm soon."

"Not while the party's going on," Sirius argued. "You can always clean up later."

"Alright."

"I might have to ask for one of those too," Steven laughed. "Now that I'm on the wrong side of thirty, hangovers are worse than ever before. Plus, we've got to pick up Gracie in the morning."

"Remind me before you leave," Sirius said with a grin. "I've had a lot more practice with the spell than Harry has."

Isaak laughed. "Now that I can believe."

Harry turned to him. "So, have you started thinking about making an honest woman out of Fleur yet?"

"Uh oh," Sirius snorted. "Watch out for mister commitment here."

"You know, Harry did give me some good advice before I proposed to Vanessa," Steven added with a laugh.

"Really?"

"Yeah, and the fact that he was only half my age is crazy now that I think about it."

"I always knew I was going to marry Pansy," Harry said.

"Always?" Sirius looked on in disbelief.

"Well, pretty much, yeah. Maybe not the very first time we talked, but after that summer, when we got back to Hogwarts and everything..." Harry shrugged. "It just seemed natural."

Sirius patted him on the back. "I'd be annoyed if not for the fact that I can see how good you've been for each other."

Isaak sighed. "I have started thinking about how to propose to Fleur one of these days. I just want it to be perfect though. She deserves it, do you know what I mean?"

"I do," Harry grinned. "You know what Pansy said when I pulled the ring out?"

"What?"

"Gimme!"

Steven laughed. "Vanessa told me all about it. Those two love to gossip."

"Well, she'd already picked out the ring," Harry admitted. "I certainly don't know anything about jewelry."

"Hmm," Isaak scratched his chin. "Maybe I should enchant something? That is what I do for a living after all."

"You could ask Apolline," Harry suggested.

"Do you think so?"

"Yeah, she's great, and she knows a lot about stuff like that," Harry replied. "She helped Pansy find the right diamond. And I know she could keep a secret from Fleur, if you want it to be a surprise."

"I might have to talk to her then." Isaak sighed, "I suppose I should speak to her father as well."

"I'm glad I never had to do that," Harry snorted. "Pansy's bastard father would not have approved of the two of us being together."

"May he rot in hell," Sirius added as he raised his glass.

"I'll drink to that," Harry nodded.

After a round of sobering charms from Sirius, Harry had disappeared as he took Vanessa and Stephen back home. Fleur and Isaak had already said goodnight as they went to make use of a guest room. Flora had gone to her room as well.

"This was fun," Hestia said as she sat in a chair opposite Pansy and Luna, kicking off her shoes. Kreacher was shuffling between them as he cleaned things up.

"It really was," Luna agreed before starting to pout. "I wouldn't have minded some strippers though."

"Men or women?" Pansy teased.

"As long as they were attractive, either would have worked," she replied with a grin. "But don't worry. I still love you and Harry the most."

"Do you need a room for the night?" Sirius asked.

"She's coming home with us," Pansy responded with a smile.

"Yay!" Luna cheered. "I hope Dobby will make us all a yummy breakfast."

"He is quite good at that."

"I'll have to go contact my father tomorrow and go back to Hogwarts before dinner," Luna tapped her chin, pondering for a moment. "But that still leaves us almost eighteen hours of fun."

Pansy laughed and threw an arm over her friend's shoulder. "We will have to sleep though, you know."

"Sleeping is fun," Luna shrugged. "In fact, you've told me plenty of times how incredibly fun sleeping with Harry is."

Sirius spat out his drink and Hestia started to laugh as he complained. "Oh, come on. He's not even here at the moment, you don't need to keep bragging about him like that."

"Maybe you should prove to me how much fun sleeping with you can be," Kathryn teased her husband. "Then you wouldn't have to be so envious of your godson."

"Okay, that's it- goodnight everybody!" Sirius stood and pulled his wife's hands, leading her out of the drawing room. "I'll show you an incredible time, you vixen."

"Sirius!" Kathryn's laugh came echoing down the hall before a door slammed shut a moment later.

"Thank Merlin for silencing charms," Hestia giggled. "I don't think I want to know exactly how those two celebrate before bed."

Luna turned to Pansy with a wink and said, "I don't need you and Harry to cast anything of the sort, of course."

"Of course," Pansy agreed with a smirk.

Harry popped back in at that moment and looked around at the much diminished crowd. "Is it time to go already?"

"Yes, it is," Pansy replied as she and Luna got up from the couch.

Hestia came over to give them all hugs before they left. "Congratulations, you two. The wedding sounds like a lot of fun."

"We'll probably be busy between now and then," Pansy said. "But I hope to see you and Flora there."

"Oh, don't worry, we will be," Hestia confirmed. "There's no way Apolline would let us miss it. I think we're going to be volunteered to try to keep Gabrielle somewhat in check for the ceremony."

Pansy snorted and Harry rolled his eyes as he answered. "I hope I don't have to say anything rude to her to get her to back off. Screwing up Pansy's big day will not be allowed."

"Not even for cute little Veela girls?" Luna asked.

"She's a lot more than cute now," Hestia giggled. "You'd hardly believe she just turned twelve by looking at her."

Harry sighed. "Great."

"Oh, don't worry," Pansy laughed as she wrapped her arm around his waist. "I'll protect you from the big bad Veela."

"That is why I'm marrying you," he teased back with a grin.

A few moments later, they appeared in their flat with Luna squeezing them both, obviously enjoying the three way hug as Harry had apparated them.

"I love how it feels when you do that," Luna giggled before plopping down on the couch and grabbing the remote for the television. "I'm too wired to sleep. Can we watch a movie or something?"

"Sure," Harry agreed and Pansy joined them. "We may need a snack though."

"Dobby will handle it!" The elf was already in the kitchen, with the refrigerator door and two cabinets open.

"Thank you, Dobby," Pansy said. "It's a good idea too; a little food can help soak up the alcohol."

"To keep our tummies from feeling bad tomorrow?" Luna mused.

"Yep," Pansy replied.

It took them a couple of minutes before they came upon a movie called Clue which made Luna quite excited. "Ooh, I hope this is like the board game."

"What board game?" Harry asked.

"You know- Cluedo," she answered. "The Americans apparently didn't know their board game history so they shortened the name."

"How do you know these things?" Pansy wondered as she laughed.

"Well, I've traveled a lot," Luna shrugged. "Sometimes we needed to find other fun things to do when we were waiting for an international portkey or stuck dealing with the wrong sort of weather."

As the characters in the movie made their way to the mansion, Pansy smirked at Harry. "I bet my husband likes the french maid."

He rolled his eyes and Luna piped in, "Who wouldn't?"

"I think my lovely wife was referring to the time when she wore a similar sexy outfit for me."

"Lucky you," Luna grinned.

"I know," he waggled his eyebrows. "That's the real reason I'm marrying her."

Pansy snorted and gratefully accepted the bowl of popcorn that Dobby floated over to them. "I like that dress though- the green one. It's an interesting blend of elegant and slutty. And the shoes are hot too."

"It's odd though," Luna frowned.

"What do you mean?" Harry asked

"Well, she's Miss Scarlet, the red piece from the game, but she's wearing green," Luna answered. "Mrs. White is dressed all in black and Mrs. Peacock is wearing something sort of peach colored. They're all practically backwards. The men aren't exactly right either, but it's not as noticeable."

"Alright, well let's pay attention now," Pansy cut in. "If this is a murder mystery, then I want to see if I can figure out who the killer is."

"You have to figure out the murder weapon and the room where the crime is committed too," Luna explained. "At least, that's how it works in the game."

"I think that will probably be obvious in the movie though," Harry said.

Pansy used both of her hands to stuff popcorn in their mouths, ending the discussion.

By the time the movie was over, Luna's head was in Pansy's lap as she snored softly.

"That can't be comfortable," Harry whispered.

"Why don't you carry our girl to bed then?"

As soon as he picked the sleeping blonde up, Pansy went to their own bedroom and stripped off the rest of her clothes. She slid under the sheet just as Harry rejoined her and shut the door behind him. He yawned as he took off his shirt.

Her own yawn came almost immediately thereafter. "I may be too tired for any fun tonight."

Harry frowned as he pulled down his trousers before yawning again. "Unfortunately, I might be too."

She patted the bed beside her and they were soon snuggled up together. "We can always have fun in the morning."

"I'll hold you to that."

"You know I can feel you grinning even with my eyes closed," Pansy teased. "But what if Luna comes in?"

"Fuck it," Harry snorted. "She can watch. I'm not getting out of this bed without some awesome sex."

"I suppose we are still on our honeymoon," Pansy giggled. "Besides, she'd probably love it anyway."

"Uh huh," he muttered as he drifted off to sleep.

Pansy briefly wondered about where her sexy french maid costume may have been packed away. That could be a fun way to make him lose all control again. Maybe tomorrow night, after Luna went back to school...
