Magical Origins

Author Notes: I want to thank you all my readers for one thousand reviews! I'm glad many of you have enjoyed this story. I want to say this story will not end with the Seventh Year. It will go further into the Eighth Year. There will also be an epilogue of what happens after the war.

Once again, thank you all my readers for being apart of this fantastic story. I've never written a story this exciting before.

Year 5: The Fifth Year

The train ride towards Hogwarts was uneventful, to say the least. Luna Lovegood was silent throughout the train ride. When they finally arrived at Hogwarts, Hedwig and Lily's owl Perseus flew out the window and towards the owlery. Hedwig would come down tomorrow at breakfast for some bacon, as it was her favorite food. More so than owl treats. She has over the past four years, flying down to acquire his bacon in the morning. This was a standard routine for her when she wasn't delivering his letters.

Harry quickly heads over to the carriages and could see Thestrals still pulling the carts. Harry climbs into the carriage with Lily behind him. Neville and Hermione also climb in. Harry simply stares at Hermione, who looks down from Harry's gaze. She knew Harry didn't like her and could barely tolerate him.

They said nothing as they rode to the castle.

Harry waves goodbye to Neville and Lily as he made his way to the Slytherin table, and they went to the Gryffindor table. Harry didn't sit long for Daphne and Blaise to join him.

Harry looks at the high table and could see all the usual staff were present. Professor McGonagall's seat was empty. No doubt, she was waiting for the first years by the entrance doors. The oaf Hagrid was also missing. Yet according to what his Vassals have told him, he was officially on vacation while he searches for the giants. So the question was who was here to replace him.

However, sitting on Dumbledore's left was another witch. Wearing custom pink robes with a toad-like face.

"What is she doing here?" Harry mutters out loud.

"Who?" Daphne asks.

"The toad witch," Harry says as the others look at her. "She works for the Ministry of Magic as the Undersecretary to the Minister."

His friends frown as they look at Dolores Umbridge. She was smiling as she was holding her goblet carefully in her hand and would raise it to drink with her pinky in the air.

"Surely she can't be here simply to represent the Ministry," Blaise says.

"I doubt that," Daphne says. "She's here for another reason. One that can't be good for Hogwarts."

Harry agreed with Daphne. For one, he knew that Fudge was really trying hard to get her the Defense Against the Dark Arts position. That failed with Veronica Gorlosien not only took the job as Defense Against the Dark Arts but stayed on board. This made Fudge very unhappy as he no doubts believed that Dumbledore was having trouble finding a new teacher.

Harry stares at Umbridge, who was drinking from her goblet as if she was a lady of importance or something. She still had that sicking smile on her face that showed she was enjoying herself. Harry didn't even know what she was happy about. She didn't get the teaching position she wanted. Or Fudge wanted. Yet she still found a way to come to Hogwarts.

No doubt to keep a close eye on Dumbledore. Fudge was paranoid with the fact that Dumbledore was after his job, even though Dumbledore had no desire to be the Minister of Magic. It showed Fudge wasn't thinking clearly or straight, and he was going to ruin himself in office. Harry knew Fudge was going to do something stupid that would get him kicked out office. Dumbledore warned him if he didn't take action, he wouldn't be remembered kindly by the magical community. That was already proven with the disrespect the French Minister of Magic gave to Fudge. Fudge's attempt to obtain power was going to blow up in his face.

The front door opens, and Professor McGonagall came in with the first years.

Harry hardly paid any attention to the sorting. His mind was afar on thinking about what Voldemort was after. It seemed like his vassals for some reason wanted to tell him, but couldn't. Voldemort wanted… something. Something that would give him an edge. Harry was wondering what it was. Perhaps it is a forbidden spell that could do unspeakable damage. Or an item that would boost his power.

Harry looks up to see the sorting was over, and Dumbledore had risen to his feet.

"Welcome!" Dumbledore says in a booming voice. "Welcome to another year at Hogwarts! For our new students, we hope your stay with us is warming and delightful. To our old students, welcome back! Before we begin our excellent feast, I do have a couple of announcements. First, please welcome… our new Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor Veronica Gorlosien, one of Hogwart's most alumed alumni. Good luck, Professor," Dumbledore said as Veronica Gorlosien stands up and gives a short bow. There was a polite clap with several boys catcalling her. She was a gorgeous woman, and this was the first time they had a woman teaching Defense Against the Dark Arts. She sits back down as the other teachers were clapping for her as well. Dolores Umbridge didn't clap. She merely had that same smile on her face.

"On a second note, Professor Hagrid is currently away on vacation after working nearly fifty years as the Hogwarts Games Keeper. He will return around the winter holidays, to enjoy so much needed time off. I am pleased to welcome back Professor Grubbly-Plank, who has kindly agreed to fill in position during his absence." Dumbledore said as Professor Grubbly-Plank as she stands up and bows. The students all clap for her, and it was no surprise, as a Hogwarts Professor, she was more favorable than Hagrid.

"Now, Quidditch tryouts for the season will begin…"

"Hem, hem."

Dumbledore turns around to see Dolores Umbridge, who had stood up, which wasn't all that impressive given how she wasn't that tall in the first place. She walks over and approaches Dumbledore, who gives her a hard sturdy-looking past his half-moon glasses.

She took to the stand and found it too tall for her as she could barely see past the top. Unable to address the school like she was in charge, she steps down and stands in front of Dumbledore's stand.

"Thank you, Headmaster, for those kind words of welcome," Umbridge says with a smile at the end of her sentence. "Every Hogwarts Headmaster has brought something wonderful to his magnificent school. It is wonderful to be back at Hogwarts. And to see so many smiling young faces looking back at me." Umbridge said.

Harry frowns at her choice of words. There wasn't a single student who was smiling back at her, and many of them look at her with a bored expression on their faces. Several students blatantly brought out books or magazines they had brought with them and started to read from them, rather than listen to her speech. Dolores Umbridge paid no mind.

"The Ministry of Magic has always considered the education of our young witches and wizards to be the utmost importance. The rare gifts which you were born may come to nothing if not properly nurtured and honed by careful instructions. The ancient skills and knowledge unique to the magical community must be passed down through the generations lest we lose them forever. The treasure trove of magical knowledge amassed by our ancestors must be guarded, replenished, and polished by those who have been called to the noble profession of teaching." Dolores Umbridge said. In saying that, she turns to the Professors and gives them a smile. None of them were smiling back at her. If anything, they look very much annoyed at her.

"Hem, hem," Umbridge says in a fake attempt to clear her throat. "Every headmaster and headmistress of Hogwarts has always brought something delightful to this magnificent school. While they have been the weighty task of governing this historic school, and that is as it should be, for, without progress, there will be stagnation and decay. There again, the progress for progress' sake must be discouraged for our tried, and tested traditions often require no tinkering. A balance, then, between old and new, between permanence and change, between tradition and innovation…"

Harry placed his head in his arms on the table and found the speech rather dull and boring. If anything, it was making his drowsy and bored just listening to this. It almost reminded him of the times he ran into Percy Weasley during his third year when Percy was practicing his speeches. They two were boring and pathetic. Artemis always mock Percy for his lack of creativity in his speeches.

Harry looks up and could see Umbridge wasn't affected by the amount of disrespect she was given. Only a couple of students were actually paying her any attention. Ernie MacMillian, trying to live up as a Prefect, yet Harry could tell he was zoning her out. Granger also was listening word for word. She wasn't smiling at Umbridge. If anything, she had a frown on her face as she looks.

Harry so wanted to read his Book of Shadows. He so wished he brought it with him.

Finally, she smiles at the students and turns to sit back down.

Dumbledore gives a couple of claps with his staff also doing so. Though it was done half-heartedly. They only gave one or two claps before they put their hands down. Snape and McGonagall, in particular, look like they merely were air clapping lightly. Veronica Gorlosien didn't clap. If anything, she had an annoying look on her face as she eyes Umbridge.

The only person who was clapping with a joyful expression on his face was Filch, who stood by the Entrance Hall, and he was clapping with a large smile on his face as he was holding Mrs. Norris.

"Thank you, Madam Umbridge… for those wonderful and kind words." Dumbledore says in a clear sarcastic voice. It was clear he too was annoyed by her speech the most, as with Hogwarts traditions, it was the Headmaster's job to welcome the students. Not the Ministry. "Now, as I was saying, Quidditch will begin on October fourteenth. With tryouts beginning next week. However, before we begin our wonderful Quidditch season, let the feast… begin!"

Once again, the food magically appears in front of them, and everyone started to dig in. The candy and sweets they had on the train were light compared to what was lying before them.

Harry pours himself pumpkin juice and places a roast hog on his plate with mash potatoes. Harry was eating his meal and looks up to see Ron Weasley was grabbed legs and bitting them before he would grabs another leg and bit into it. He put the legs he had on his plate, and he didn't touch them again. It seem like Ron Weasley really didn't have any manners as he was once again, stuffing his face.

Lily, in particular, wasn't thrilled with Ron's table manners, and she said something to him. He said something back, spitting food that was in his mouth, and she immediately snaps. No doubt docking points and giving him detention. Ron look upset and tried to protest. Again, food was being spat out of his mouth.

Harry merely smirks. Ron was going to get in so much trouble this year. Especially with both he and Lily as Prefects. Ron still had three additional months of detention he had to work off. As he tended to get in trouble a lot last year. The real smile, was when Ron was kicked out of the Yule Ball for disturbing the dance.

Harry ate his meal, making sure not to eat more than his fill. He drank his pumpkin juice and was sitting down, laughing with his fellow students.

Eventually, the feast ended, and everyone stood up to return to their dorms.

"First Years!" Harry called out as the Slytherin first years stood up. "Follow me."

Daphne stood by him and was doing a headcount to make sure they had all the first years. They line up as the older Slytherin's were making their way to the Common Room.

"We're all here. Good, now follow us." Harry says as he leads them to the Common Room. "Be mindful of the corridors and the stairs. The school likes to change them. Stay together." Harry called out.

They walk down the stairs towards the dungeons, where they saw torches glowing in the darkness. As it was already seven-thirty, the sun was just starting to set, yet the dungeons had no real windows to show the outside.

Two gargoyles that were built in the wall and Harry passes them and goes down the corridor towards the end of the corridor, where a solid wall was painted.

"This is the entrance to our common room and our dorms. It requires a password to enter the common room. It's an easy password to remember. If you don't remember, check our bulletin board for the password." Harry said. In saying that, Harry turns to the wall and speaks. "Intoxic Flies."

The wall disappears, revealing a passage towards the Common Room.

Harry and Daphne usher the first years in. They went in, and all of them were looking around and admiring how beautiful the Common Room was. Harry and Daphne enter behind them as the door opens.

"Welcome to the Slytherin Common Room," Daphne says as the first years turn to her. They look so small compared to Harry and Daphne, who towering over them. "This is where all Slytherin's gather for social events, and if need be, to do our homework. We have our own bookcase full of spellbooks and information you are free to check out and read on your own. Be warned, you cannot take them out of the common room. Your belongings have already been brought in here." Daphne says as she points to the trunks next to the side of the Common Room. "The boy's dormitory is to the right," Daphne said, pointing to the right side of the entrance. "The girls are to the left. Before you go to bed, here are some words from our House Head, Professor Snape."

With that said, the door opens, and Professor Snape walks in. He stood towering over the petrified first years.

With their job done, Harry and Daphne turn to enter the Prefect's dormitory. Which was located on the second floor of the Slytherin Common Room. As the first floor was reserved for the non-prefects and Head Boy and Girl. Leaving the first years to Professor Snape.

Harry bids Daphne's good night and enters his dorm. Which was labeled 'Fifth Year Prefect.' Harry enters his room to see his stuff was already at the foot of his bed and for the time at Hogwarts. He would be sleeping without a roommate. Even if he didn't like it, he knew it was best as he was sure a lot of people were going to have their eyes on him.

Harry removes his robes and climbs into his bed, which was about a Queen size. Much more substantial than the full bed he was used to sleeping in during his previous four years.

Harry quickly falls asleep and wishes he was with Lily at this moment. He really wanted to fuck her.

Harry soon falls asleep in his bed and dreams of all the time he and Lily were teasing one another all summer long. Even Artemis teaching Lily sexually things to please Harry in bed, which she took in greatly.

Harry was careful to get Artemis pregnant again. He was sure, if he did get Artemis pregnant again, it would raise questions as to who is fathering her children, and he was sure fingers were going to be pointed at him.

Lily and Neville were walking up to the flight of stairs towards the Gryffindor Common Room. As they were currently residing on the seventh floor, they had a large flight of stairs to go to. Meaning they had one of the longest times getting to their Common Room. Hufflepuff and Slytherin were located in the dungeons. Meaning they didn't have much of a walk. Yet for Gryffindor's and Ravenclaw's, they had to go up several flights of stairs.

Then suddenly, a water balloon hits one of the female first-years causing her to shriek out in surprise.

"Peeves!" Lily barks out as Peeves appeared holding a basket full of water balloons.

"Oh, what little squirts they are. Have another…" Peeves say as he prepares to fire another water balloon, but Lily quickly responded and flicks her wand, causing the water balloons to disappeared and Peeves disappointed.

"You're no fun," Peeve says in disappointed.

"Begone, Peeves! Or you know what I'll do to you!" Lily barks.

Peeves did know what she would do to him. Sticking his tongue in response, he quickly takes off and disappears.

"Come on," Lily said as she leads the first year towards Gryffindor Tower.

They reach the Fat Lady, who was trying to sing. She stops at the sight of Lily, Neville, and the first years.

"Password?" the Fat Lady asks upon the approaching Gryffindor's.

"Mimbulus Mimbletonia," Neville says at once. Lily looks at Neville in surprise, he generally had a hard time remembering passwords. The Fat Lady swings open at once, and Lily quickly ushers the First Years in the Common Room.

The enter a room that was designed in a complete circle with two staircases heading upwards by the entrance. It was red with a picture of a lion above a large fireplace. Several bookcases were around with tables and chairs in the middle of the room.

"Welcome to Gryffindor Common Room. This is where we do our social events and do homework. The books are free for you to use, you cannot take them out of Gryffindor Tower. The right stairs are the girl's dormitories, the left is the boys. Boys, be warned, you cannot enter the girl's dorms. Your belongs are already awaiting you inside your dormitories. If you want to know about social events or clubs, check our bulletin board." Lily says.

With that said, the first years break off and immediately head to their dorms.

Lily than notice that the usually noisy dorm was unusually silent. She turns to see several students were quiet with their heads down. Lily checks to make sure the first years were out of earshot. She notices Hermione wasn't present among the crowd and, no doubt, retreated to her dorm.

"Okay, speak. What's the deal?" Lily demands.

No one said anything. Ron grabs a book and starts to read, but Lily could his eyes weren't moving, and he was starting at the same spot fiercely, telling Lily he was listening carefully.

Finally, Seamus stood up and faces her.

"We think it's unwise for you to associate with Potter any longer," Seamus says in a voice that tried to make him sound like he was in charge.

"Really?" Lily says in surprise. "For what reason?"

"Well, I'm not sure if you know this, but there have been a lot of rumors about him. That he might not be… right in the head." Seamus says.

"You're referring to the Daily Prophet articles they've done on him without his consent," Lily says as she eyes, Seamus. Her oceanic blue eyes turn orange, which was a warning sign that she was about to torch him. Seamus didn't see the dangers, but Dean did.

"If you've read what they wrote. Experts are saying there may have been 'side-effects' from the curse rebounding off of him. They're saying it's starting to affect his brains in a not so good way. They say he might go mad." Seamus began.

Lily wanted to torch him right there. Then she remembers what the sorting hat told her.

'You could have done well in Slytherin there is no doubt about that. but the path you will find, if you stick close to Harry Potter is in… "Gryffindor."'

Lily smiles, and after spending more time with Harry, she was starting to think and act like a Slytherin.

"I can prove your theory wrong right now. One of Harry's vassals is a Chief Healer at Saint Mungo's. One of her primary skills is the healing art of 'Eunoia.' Do you know what that means?" Lily asks.

Everyone shook their heads.

"It's the study of healing the mind. If there were something wrong with Harry, she would know at once. In fact, she's in charge of his health, and she has reported there is nothing wrong with Harry." Lily says.

"Everyone knows of Olivia Wynter. According to my mum, she's going to get sacked at Saint Mungo's for 'poor performance.'" Seamus said.

Lily raised an eyebrow. The loss of Olivia Wynter would have dramatic consequences. For one, half the salve's and potions Saint Mungo's use to heal their patients would become void as they are legally owned by Olivia. Meaning if they wanted to use them, they would have to pay Olivia a large sum of galleons. Not to mention the moment she was fired, other regions would seek her out for their Sanctums. Olivia has revolutionized the healing community.

So now it was clear Fudge was trying to strip House Potter of its power. He really was an idiot.

"I already know about those experts who spoke to the Daily Prophet," Lily says calmly as she begins to lie. It was suspicions on their part, not a proven fact. "They weren't healers or even people who specialize in Eunoia. They were politicians from Fudge's administration." Lily says.

Ron slams his book shut and stands up.

"Alright, that's enough. The fact is, we don't want you talking to Potter any longer!" Ron snaps.

"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't," Lily said in a soft but cold voice. Others flinch at the realization that Lily might, in fact, burn them.

"He's a dark wizard and carries the mark of one. Not to mention he's not right in the head. He's also…"

"Must you really go on again this year?" Lily says as she interrupts Ron. "Every year, you label Harry as a Dark Lord in training. You always make some grand tale that he's some evil wizard when he's not. How well do you even know him, Ron? You only see what you wish to see. I know Harry Potter better than any other person alive besides his Vassals. He is far from the super evil wizard. Ron makes him out to be." Lily says.

"I know him well enough to know he's a dark wizard." Ron snaps.

"That's really cold of you, Ron. Especially after Harry welcomes you into his home after your family home was burned down," Lily says coldly.

"What do you mean?" Dean asks in a slow voice, making sure he could avoid being caught in the crossfire.

"Ron's family home was attacked by some Death Eaters shortly after the school year ended. Harry welcomes Ron's family into his home to allow them to stay over the summer." Lily says with a smile.

"He was plotting with his Vassals to take down the Ministry!" Ron shouted in a loud voice.

"They do not like Fudge. Nor do I, for that matter. The man is an idiot who is afraid of his own shadow. They're looking for a new, stronger Minister to lead them in the war against Voldemort." Lily says as everyone flinches at the sound of the infamous Dark Lord's name. Ron was worse than any of them.

"Say 'You-Know-Who' will you!" shouted Ron.

"Voldemort," Lily says again, and Ron flinches terribly.

"Say 'You-Know-Who'!" Ron bellowed.

"Voldemort! Voldemort! Voldemort! Voldemort! Voldemort! Voldemort! Voldemort!" Lily says in a chant. Ron would flinch terribly and suddenly covered his ears to hear no more.

"I do not fear him. Also, Harry bested the Dark Lord in a duel and destroyed his wand. And for the record, the reason why Harry wants Fudge removed is that he is too close of a friend to known Death Eaters and is giving them vast amounts of information to them." Lily says with confidence.

"I don't have any problems with Harry," Neville says, and Lily turns to him, as this was the most he's ever said to anyone in the Common Room when they were gathered in groups. Neville flushes at the words he said. Everyone stares at Neville. "I've talked to him since our first year together, and he's always been kind to me. I don't know why he sees me as a friend, but he's always helped me out, especially in my classes, and he sticks up for me against the other Slytherins."

Lily beams at Neville as she finally got some support.

"Yeah, don't forget what he does to us in Quidditch!" Ron shouted. "Or do you not remember our first year when he…"

"Do not forget Ron," Lily snaps as she interrupts Ron's attempt to rant again. "that ever since Harry became the Quidditch Captain in his third year, injuries and fouls were committed less. In fact, they went their entire season, not committing one foul." Lily says in a firm voice. The Quidditch members nod their heads in agreement.

"Oh yeah!" Ron snaps as he attempts to stand up tall. "What about that time he did foul Katie Bell! Remember, he kissed her in front of the school that caused her to drop the quaffle?!"

Katie flushes a shade of red as she, too, remembers the kiss.

"Then why didn't he get called on it?" Lily says, coolly. "There is no rule that says he can't kiss a player in the middle of a game. It was a rule he knew and took advantage of."

Ron stood there, fuming. It was possible to see steam coming up from his body. He rolled his hands into a fist and stood there, shaking with anger.

"You have no right to tell me who I can and can't see. The choice of who is my friend is up to me and me alone. Besides, you know as well as I do, if Potter does do something bad, I'm just going to touch him." Lily says.

This caused everyone in Gryffindor to nod their heads in agreement. They knew anyone who got on Lily's wrong side ended up burned.

"The conversation is over. Everyone return to what you were doing and go to your dorms and get some sleep." Lily says in a loud that ends the conversation.

"No. You will not see Potter is that clear!" Ron snaps.

Lily paused as she looks at Ron. Then she smiles. "That's detention you've just gotten yourself," Lily says, coldly.

"Bollocks, Lily! You don't have the right to…" Ron began.

"As a matter of fact, I do," Lily says as she points to her Prefect's badge. "I am the Gryffindor Prefect, and if you continue, you will have a month of detention added to your already four months," Lily says, coldly.

"Now, see here…" Ron began.

"Shut up, Ron!" Dean shouted.

Ron turns to him in shock.

"You might get suspended again. I'll notify Professor McGonagall of your actions. You will report to Filch tomorrow night at six o'clock for your punishment." Lily says. With that said, she turns to her fellow Gryffindor's. "Anyone else got a problem?"

Everyone shook their heads. They knew they would end up with detention or worse…they would be burned.

Lily walks past her fellow Gryffindors near the fireplace and opens the portrait that was the entrance to her Prefect's Dorm. She closes the door and immediately removes her robes and jumps on her bed. She was thinking about Harry's touches, and the time he nearly went all the way inside of her. It was a feeling she never thought existed. She couldn't wait for them to get some alone time.

With that happy thought, she doses off and falls asleep.

Harry wakes up feeling refresh and happy. He gets up and enters his lavatory and sees it was much bigger than the downstairs dorm lavatory. Harry removes his robes and steps into the bath, and while it wasn't like the Prefect bath, it was still refreshing and soothing. As it was September second, meaning it was Saturday, they had no class and could spend their day exploring the castle. Harry couldn't wait to get with Lily and spend time alone with her.

However, given that it was the first holiday of the school, most of the students were going to be catching up with their friends.

Harry climbs out and quickly puts on his robes. He figures he could speak to Blaise and Daphne and see how their summer was.

Harry leaves his sprite in his room, his sprite was currently in a water bowl and appeared to be enjoying itself.

Harry walks down his stairs and enters the Common Room. Daphne was seated with her sister and Tracy, and they were giggling.

"Hey girls," Harry said as he approaches them. "Did you all have a good summer?"

They turn to him, and Tracy said something under her breath, causing the three girls to giggle. This was a clear indication of the girls were either talking about him or boys in general.

"I heard the Minister tried to get you expelled? What happened at your hearing?" Daphne asks at once.

"What did you hear?" Harry asks.

"Not much. Only what I read in the Daily Prophet. Your court transcript didn't say much." Daphne said.

Harry smiles.

"Fudge made a deal with Blanche to get me expelled from Hogwarts," Harry said.

"He's actually associating with Blanche now?" Daphne says in shock.

The three girls did not look happy to see this and were, in fact, disturbed by this information.

"I had a solid defense. They couldn't convict me." Harry says as he tried to reassure them.

"I'm more surprised they even tried to convict you," Tracy says in surprise.

"Fudge is paranoid. He is getting paranoid as the days go by. He seems to be convinced that Dumbledore wants his job." Harry says.

"That is ridiculous. Dumbledore has never wanted to be Minister of Magic. That is a well-known fact in our world." Astoria said.

"Tell that to Fudge. He seems utterly convince Dumbledore is after his job." Harry said.

"So why did he tried to get you expelled?" Daphne asks.

"He thinks I'm an accomplish," Harry said simply.

"Has he lost his mind?" Tracy said.

"I would be more concern about his state of mind. Remember our third year? When he had the dementors surround the school?" Harry says, giving them a chill down their spine.

He knew the girls did remember. They did not like the feeling of passing those dementors every time they walk around grounds. In fact, a few dementors would even test Dumbledore's patience by strolling around the grounds where several students were out playing around.

Someone grabs Harry's shoulder and pulls him into a hug.

"How you been, Harry? Congratulations on being Perfect." Blaise says.

"Well, it was obvious he was going to get the badge," Daphne says.

"He's never been in trouble has he," Tracy added.

"Can you convince your father to stand against Fudge?" Harry asks, turning to Daphne.

Daphne's face was blank. Her 'Ice Queen' expression return to her face. No doubt, her father has already talked to her about 'choosing' sides.

"Father said he needs… 'time' to think things over," Daphne says in a slow voice.

Harry didn't like the sound of that.

Was Marcus Greengrass playing it smart, or did he did indeed have ties to Death Eaters? Harry knew the names of all of Voldemort's Inner Circle Death Eaters. Marcus Greengrass's young brother was a convicted Death Eater known for murdering over thirty people. Those that went on record.

Or was Marcus Greengrass playing it safe at the moment to see who would come out winning? He may enter the game late.

"It's best not to talk about politics here," Daphne says, breaking Harry out of his train of thought.

Harry understood what she was implying. Too many people could be listening to them, and it wasn't safe to declare alliances so publicly. It would have to be done discreetly. Harry knew he would most likely end up fucking Daphne to get her father to agree to assist them in the war. Not that they haven't already fucked and thoroughly enjoyed it.

"Let's get out of here. I want to explore the castle for a bit." Harry says.

The others nod their heads and get up to leave the Common Room. They headed outside to enjoy their week-long break before the classes would begin again.

Author Notes: I hope everyone enjoys the chapter. Thanks for being apart of this wonderful story.

Now Eunoia is Latin for the state of one's mental health.

I didn't do this early as I should have, but Veronica Gorloisen, Balthazar Blake, and Maxim Horvath are, in fact, from Disney's The Sorcerer's Apprentice. If you check the movie Credit's, that's their names correctly. I'm also using their love triangle from the original movies into this story. Basically, it's like this, Horvath believed because they were both elementals, they were destined for each other, but she chooses Balthazar instead because he was 'better' and more 'honorable' in her eyes. He also cares a great deal about her. Upset and angry, Horvath disappeared and fell deep into the dark arts. After Voldemort returned to power, Horvath sought him out and took the mark as a follower. Veronica, after leaving Hogwarts, joins the Kirin Tor, an international organization that works under the Interregional Confederation of Sorcery. They serve as interregional Aurors to fight dark wizards where ever they appear. Balthazar joins her, and they both climb up the ranks. They return to Briton, to prepare to fight in the bloody civil war that is about to erupt again. They also plan on defeating Horvath once and for all.

Veronica Gorloisen is a Wind/Air Elemental or Aeromancer. She is an alumnus of Ravenclaw.

Balthazar Blake is a balance/specialist wizard. He's no elemental, but he's powerful like Dumbledore. He was one of the few to best Voldemort and Dumbledore in a duel. He is an alumnus of Gryffindor.

Maxim Horvath is an Earth Elemental or Geomancer. He is also one of the strongest wizards alive. He is currently Voldemort's right-hand man. He is an alumnus of Hufflepuff.

Liliana 'Lily' Morris is a Fire Elemental or pyromancer.

Harry Potter is a Water Elemental or hydromancer.

There are four elementals. I hope everyone enjoys.
