July 28th, 1997 Padma Patil's bedroom
After yet another tense dinner, Padma was just sitting down in her room with a book to read. While her mum had been upset and worried, her father was more angry at his wayward daughter. For her part, she just hoped that Parvati was safe, wherever she'd run off to.
Checking with Lavender Brown had been the first idea Padma had considered, but that option had yielded no results. The other thought she'd had, about Harry Potter and Parvati's long standing unrequited feelings for him...
Well, Padma had no clue how to look for the Potters as they had gone off on a honeymoon. Or where they could be. Via Luna Lovegood, she'd heard brief talk of them going to Africa to see elephants, but that had been four months prior.
A tapping at her window drew her attention to a beautiful snowy owl. Hurrying to open it, she saw a letter stuck on top of a small package.
"You're Harry's owl, aren't you?"
The responding 'prek' and bobbing of its head gave Padma the impression that she was correct, although she couldn't remember the bird's name.
"Thank you," Padma added as she took her delivery. The owl quickly disappeared into the night.
"Well, I guess I won't be sending a return note," she huffed as she opened the letter first.
I hope this finds you when you're alone, just to spare us a bit of drama. Open the package, end the shrinking charm, and say my name when you have some time to talk.
Parvati
"Hmm," Padma muttered as she soon found herself holding a small mirror. Because of the suggestion of privacy, she cast a spell on her door to stop the sound from getting out into the hallway. Seeing as how she was thinking of yelling at her sister, doing so would probably be quite prudent.
"Parvati."
The reflection in the mirror disappeared and she saw her sister sitting up in a bed and smiling at her.
"Hey, sis," Parvati said.
"I guess you're with Harry?"
"Harry, Pansy, and Luna," Parvati answered. "You'll never guess where we are."
"Well, it looks bright there, so I'm guessing you're behind me as far as the time zones go," Padma calculated. "Somewhere in America would be the most likely option."
"Okay, so maybe you can guess," Parvati rolled her eyes. "We're in New York City."
"How did you get all the way there? A portkey or-"
"Harry is apparently so stupidly powerful that he can just apparate across the ocean like it's no big deal."
Padma's eyes went wide. "He side along apparated you all the way there?"
"Yep," Parvati giggled. "He also went back to give Hedwig the package I sent you. Harry says she's been annoyed with him because they haven't taken her along on all their travels."
"Wow," Padma said. "What's the deal with the mirrors?"
"Pretty cool, huh? Harry's godfather had a couple of them that he and his dad had used, and he taught Harry the enchantment used to create them," Parvati explained. "Ever since then, Pansy's been making good use of it to talk to people. Since I left so abruptly-"
"Mum and Dad are none too happy with you," Padma interjected.
"Too bad," Parvati glared. "I'm none too happy with them trying to marry me off to some stranger."
"They aren't that pushy," Padma countered. "One of the guys I met at dinner that night was nice. Cute too."
"Well you can marry him then," Parvati huffed.
"Maybe I will," Padma teased in response, starting to grin. "Mum admitted later on that he was the one she thought would be a better match for you, but maybe I'll let him court me instead."
"Fine by me," Parvati shrugged. "What about the other guy?"
"He seemed rather unhappy all night, but I think in part it was because Suman was so much more outgoing," Padma said. "He couldn't get much attention, I suppose, but he didn't try very hard either."
"Well, I hope you're happy."
Padma wondered about her sister's tone. "Are you happy? Have things been strange with Harry and Pansy? Because I know about your feelings-"
"I think everybody knows about my long standing love of Harry," Parvati sighed. "Things have been pretty good. Interesting. Some of it will have to wait until I can tell you in person."
"When are you coming home?"
"I don't know," Parvati replied. "Maybe not until it's time to go back to Hogwarts."
"Are you really that mad at them?" Padma asked.
"I absolutely refuse to allow them to dictate who I am going to be with," Parvati said with a scowl. "The one guy I would have tried to pick wouldn't have been good enough for them just because-"
Now it was Padma's turn to roll her eyes. "Mum and Dad would have made an exception for Harry. They would have had to leave the country otherwise."
"Yeah, well..." Parvati sighed. "I get why they think tradition is so important and everything, but it just isn't to me. I'm barely even religious. I mean, how much time do you think about things like that when we're away at school? Mum and Dad just don't understand that about us."
"I know," Padma agreed. "But what are you going to do about school? Not to mention life after school."
"I'll come back for my seventh year and my NEWTs. After that..."
"Yes?" Padma prodded her.
"I'm not sure yet."
"Should I tell mum and dad anything?"
Parvati shrugged. "That's up to you, I guess. Oh, but if my Hogwarts letter comes there, will you let me know? I'm not sure if an owl will try to find me all the way over here."
"I can do that," Padma nodded. "Take care of yourself, okay?"
"I will," Parvati grinned. "Love you, sis."
"Love you too."
The mirror's surface went back to showing her reflection and Padma set it aside on her nightstand. She wasn't sure what she was going to do- and truthfully, she would have to admit that she'd probably delay saying anything to her mum and especially her father until absolutely necessary. But at least it was good to know exactly what had happened to Parvati after her disappearance, and the fact that she was safe would hopefully be some comfort for whenever that unhappy conversation did come up.
July 30th, 1997 Central Park, New York
They had been sitting on a spread out blanket enjoying a picnic lunch that Dobby had prepared for them- with charms to keep everything at just the right temperature as well- and very much enjoying the warm weather. Parvati had to agree with Harry; that little house-elf was amazing. Short sleeves and skirts were the uniform for the day, in part to keep them cool, but also to let Harry stare at their legs.
And Luna too- Parvati had caught her leering maybe even more than Harry had.
"Come on, Harry, I want to ride the carousel," the blonde said as she pulled him to his feet.
"Do I have to ride it with you?" he asked.
"No, but you have to wait in line with me," Luna replied with a grin. "And then you have to let me wave at you like some of the little kids were doing with their parents."
"Fair enough," Harry shrugged as they walked off towards the attraction.
"I worry about her sometimes," Pansy sighed.
"What do you mean?" Parvati wondered.
"Just that Harry and I aren't there at Hogwarts with her anymore. I know she doesn't have many friends. Not that it ever seems to get her down."
"Well, I'll only be there one more year, but I'll try to spend a little more time with her, barring the NEWTs driving me nuts," Parvati offered. "Luna may be a little odd, but she's always been pleasant to me."
Pansy smiled. "That's why I call her sweetie all the time. It's hard to be in a bad mood with Luna around."
"I can see what you mean."
"Anyway, now that she got Harry away for a minute, I thought I should prepare you for something," Pansy said. "His birthday starts at midnight, and we've sort of got a tradition of staying up late and starting the celebrations when the clock strikes twelve."
"Oh, okay. What type of celebrations?"
"Dobby will make a cake, for starters," Pansy answered. "He always does. Then we'll probably end up burning off those calories in bed."
"We meaning?"
Pansy shrugged. "I did say I was going to give him a threesome for his official coming of age. So yes, you're invited. And Luna would probably pout if she didn't get to watch at least. I was thinking maybe we should all try to coordinate whatever we wear- matching lingerie or something."
"Is that why we went shopping the other day?"
"Luna had the right idea," Pansy chuckled. "Of course, she also gets to perv off on looking at all of us. I guess she would think of it as a double win."
"That... could be fun," Parvati admitted.
"Don't worry, I won't be coming up with anything too kinky tonight," Pansy teased. "This will be about Harry getting to have fun, not about me messing with you."
"Thanks," Parvati rolled her eyes.
"Have you talked with your sister any further?"
"No. I'm sort of hoping that I won't have to for awhile," Parvati said. "Out of sight, out of mind, I guess."
"Let me know if I can help," Pansy offered.
"Really?"
"We are friends, remember?" Pansy smirked. "Plus, I may know something about running away from home and being on the outs with parents. Not that our situation is exactly the same, but..."
"I appreciate it."
July 31st, 1997 Shortly after midnight
Harry had been sent to bed and told to wait a few minutes. Whatever the girls were planning, he had a feeling he wasn't going to get any sleep for a long time. There was the question that had been occasionally bugging him lately though- what would happen after this summer?
He and Pansy had been in New York for almost a month already with no real thought of moving on. Admittedly, they'd been having a blast there, but this wasn't exactly what he had thought of for their year long honeymoon traveling the world. Shouldn't they be in Egypt or Japan or something by now?
Maybe they'd pack up once Parvati and Luna were gone.
The door opened and broke his train of thought.
They had dressed up in matching lingerie- bras, panties, and stockings- only all colored based on their Hogwarts' houses. Pansy in emerald green, Luna in a soft sky blue, and Parvati in a sexy scarlet. Was it any surprise that his jaw had dropped open?
"You like?" Pansy teased.
Harry chuckled. "It's good to be me."
"Just remember who's the most amazing wife in the world to set this up for you," she added with a smirk.
"And the sexiest wife too," Luna said as she spanked her bottom.
"Hey!" Pansy protested with a little yelp.
"She's right," Harry grinned.
"Yeah, I can't help myself," Luna agreed. "I'm like Harry in that way."
"Not that I can blame you," he laughed.
"Well, you can all stand around talking, but I'm ready for Harry to play with me," Parvati said as she hopped onto the bed.
"Ooh, that cheater," Luna pouted before winking at Pansy. "Don't you think we should hold her down for trying to jump to the front of the line?"
"Yes," Pansy said as she stalked after Parvati. "I think Harry might like it too."
"I have a feeling I'm going to like all of this," he laughed.
A voice loudly calling out startled them awake the next day, some time after noon. Harry was the fastest to react, disentangling himself from the piles of bodies in the bed and staggering out into the hall.
"Parvati!"
He yawned and found a mirror laying face down on the coffee table out in the living room. Picking it up, he saw Padma staring at him.
"Um, I..."
For some reason she was blushing at him. Harry wouldn't realize until later that he may have flashed her.
"Hey, Padma," he said with another yawn. "She's still asleep, but give me a minute."
"Good, I need to talk to her. Mum and dad need to know something, and I feel like a liar. I don't think I can keep this hidden any longer."
"Okay, hold on a second," Harry said as he held the mirror against his chest and peeked into the bedroom. Pansy was sitting up with Luna curled up against her and her head snuggled into her neck. Parvati was drowsily wiping at her eyes. "It's your sister."
"My sister?" Parvati asked with a yawn.
"The rest of us are all only children," Luna reminded her.
"I just woke up," she groaned. Then she looked up at Harry. "Tell her to give me a minute. I need to throw on some clothes or something."
"There's a robe in the top left drawer you can use," Pansy suggested as he stepped back out into the hall.
"Hold on just a second, she's getting dressed," he said.
Padma chuckled. "Did you see something you shouldn't have?" she asked with a laugh.
"Huh? No," he shrugged. It was too early for him to catch any innuendo- plus he didn't know that Parvati hadn't told her about sleeping with him, so Harry just yawned again.
"Long night?" Padma wondered.
"Yeah, but it was worth it," he smiled. "Oh, so worth it."
"Okay, I've got it," Parvati said as she came out and opened her hand for Harry to pass over the mirror. He did so and then went back to the bedroom.
"Hi," Padma smirked. "Why were you still asleep? Long night?"
"Yes, actually," Parvati replied.
"Doing something fun, I hope," Padma teased. "I see you got dressed, but Harry very clearly wasn't. How's his bum, anyway?"
Parvati sighed happily. "Perfect."
"What is going on with you?" Padma asked.
"Too much to explain first thing in the morning," Parvati frowned. "Why did you call me anyway?"
"We're going to have to do something about mum and dad."
"Ugh," Parvati slumped on the couch. "Just tell them that I refuse to marry some good Indian boy and they can hate me all they want."
"Parvati-"
"I really don't have anything else to say on the matter," she added. "This is not something I'm going to budge on either, and you should know by now how stubborn I can be."
"Unfortunately," Padma agreed.
Meanwhile, Harry climbed back into the center of the bed and slid his hand up Pansy's thigh. She rolled her eyes at him. "How can you be horny after all we did last night?"
"I got some rest since then," he grinned.
"You're ridiculous," she snorted. On her other side though, Luna had reached up and cupped her breast. "Et tu, Luna?"
"Sue me," the blonde shrugged. "You're sexy, get over it."
Pansy pushed them both off as she got out of bed. "You two can have some fun together. I want a shower and breakfast."
"But it's more fun with you," Luna pouted.
"I know," Harry agreed before pulling her over to cuddle with him. "We'll just have to make do."
"Will you do that tongue thing again?" she asked.
"Sure."
Pansy shut the door behind her. She looked out into the living room and saw Parvati still talking through the mirror. "Just a warning, things might get loud in the bedroom again."
"Seriously?" Parvati's eyes widened. "Sis, I've got to go."
August 3rd, 1997
"Are you sure you have to leave, sweetie?" Pansy asked with a pout.
"It will only be a week," Luna replied as she finished packing and shrinking her things down to fit into her bag. "Besides, I want to learn more of my grandmother's recipes. Sweden is rather nice this time of year."
"I hope you have fun," Harry said.
Parvati nodded in agreement. "Have a good trip."
Pansy had an idea. "You know, Harry could go with you."
"To Sweden?" he asked. "Why?"
"Just join her for the portkey," Pansy continued. "Then, once you arrive there and know where Luna will be, you can come back. And that way-"
"He could pick me up in a week," Luna finished. "That would save Daddy a bit of hassle. Would you mind, Harry?"
"Sure, it shouldn't be a problem," he shrugged.
"Okay then," Luna grabbed Pansy for one last hug. "Have lots of fun while I'm gone. That's an order!"
Pansy giggled. "As you wish."
And with a pop, Harry and Luna disappeared.
"I still can't get over that," Parvati shook her head. "Harry apparating across an ocean like it's nothing."
"Harry's never been one to bother with the rules," Pansy said. "He actually apparated for the first time at about seven years old, in a burst of accidental magic. I think that kind of suggests that he would have a natural affinity for it."
"True."
"So, what should we do today?"
Parvati frowned and picked up the newspaper. "It's going to be hot again today. Maybe we should go swimming?"
Pansy laughed in response. "You just want to get a chance to have Harry cover you in sunscreen, don't you?"
Parvati flushed slightly. "You shouldn't have made it sound so amazing if you didn't want me to start fantasizing about it."
Pansy smirked. "Well, we could give him a treat too, and return the favor together. Plus, there would be the added bonus of any people around us feeling incredibly jealous."
"Now we just need to find the right pool."
"I think I'm starting to get the hang of those things," Harry said as he was able to keep his feet once they landed from the portkey in the entry hallway of a two story home.
"They're not too bad once you're used to them," Luna agreed. "It's not as cozy as apparating with you though."
"That's because you're a snuggle monster," he teased.
"She always has been."
They turned to see a middle aged woman with long red hair waiting for them and Luna quickly bounced over to hug her. "Grannie!"
"It's wonderful to see you again, sweet one."
Luna stepped back a moment later with a smile on her face and pulled Harry over. "Harry, this is my grandmother Sonja. Grannie, this is Harry Potter."
"I believe I may have heard of you before," the older woman chuckled as they shook hands. "That was even before Luna told us of your friendship."
"It's a pleasure to meet you."
"There's a pot of tea on, if you want to stay for awhile," Sonja offered.
"I probably shouldn't," Harry answered. "It's hot where I'm staying right now, and my wife and Parvati are waiting to go out for the day."
"Well then, I won't keep you."
"I'll call Pansy on the mirror about when I need to be picked up," Luna said.
"Okay." he hugged her. "I'll see you in a week then."
"Bye, Harry!"
August 17th, 1997
The month of August didn't entirely consist of relaxation and fornication.
"Parvati!"
She grumbled as she picked up the mirror as they were just about to head out for the day. Unfortunately, it wasn't just her sister that she saw.
"Mum?"
"Your father is here as well," she replied. "What do you have to say for yourself, young lady?"
"Nothing," Parvati answered with a glare. "Nothing I could say would get through to you. I am not going to be a good girl and roll over so that you can foist me off on some stranger."
"You are overreacting," Mrs. Patil said. "Do you really think so little of me that-"
"I am never going to marry some guy you pick out for me. I don't care how nice he may be. There is nothing in the world that could convince me to be a good little housewife, and especially not to someone from India-"
She was flushed with anger as it was her mother's turn to cut her off.
"Does our heritage mean so little to you?" the older woman was clearly exasperated.
"That's right," Parvati answered as her mother gasped.
Her father interjected. "I have clearly failed with you girls. Perhaps I should have been more strict. But it is time for you to come home."
"No."
"I could make a complaint to the aurors," he suggested. "You can't just expect us to sit back and let you run off with your friends."
Parvati was becoming more and more upset, and even worse, this was happening in front of Harry, Pansy, and Luna. "I don't care what you do. I'm not coming home."
Harry's arm wrapped around her as she waited for the next admonishment to come.
"We'll see how you feel after I report that you've been kidnapped," her father said.
His hand sliding up behind hers, Harry wordlessly asked for permission to take the mirror and Parvati passed it to him as she tried not to cry. "Mister Patil, your daughter is of age. If you try to press this kidnapping idea, you'll be laughed out of the Ministry. And that's not even considering the fact that you'd be going up against my reputation."
"Mister Potter, I don't care about your reputation, I want my daughter home immediately," he growled.
"Unlike you, I'm going to listen to Parvati about what she wants," Harry replied. "I'm going to respect her needs and support her, and if you can't back off, you may lose your daughter even more than you already have."
Before anything else could be said, Harry terminated the conversation and passed the now dormant mirror over to Luna, who set it aside. Parvati threw her arms around him and began to cry. Pansy moved to softly rub her back for more consolation.
"It's going to be okay," he whispered.
"We're here for you," Pansy added soothingly.
Parvati hiccuped as she stifled a sob. "Now, they've ruined today and everything."
"Not if we don't let it ruin our plans," Luna countered. "Don't let them have the power to control your mood. That's how I used to deal with bullies."
Parvati chuckled sadly. "Maybe I could give that a try."
"Take your time," Pansy said.
Disentangling herself from Harry's comforting embrace, Parvati shook herself. "Give me a few minutes in the bathroom to splash some water on my face. I don't want to lose a chance for fun today."
She made a good attempt, but Parvati had been understandably distracted for most of the day. By the time the quartet returned back to their hotel suite that night, Pansy knew one thing that could cheer her up. But she was also starting to feel a bit cranky and sore as well.
"Should we find a movie to watch?" Luna suggested.
"You and I can do that," Pansy replied.
"What about us?" Harry asked.
"You need to take Parvati to bed and shag her senseless," she answered with a smirk.
Parvati snorted. "I guess that could help."
"You've been stressed all day, you need it," Pansy added. "But it needs to happen now, before bedtime."
"Why?"
"I'm starting to feel crampy, so that means Harry will have to pamper me later," she explained.
"Fair enough," Parvati grinned as she bounced up to her feet and held out her hand to Harry. "Will you help me unwind?"
"I'd be delighted to, my dear," he grinned as they disappeared into the bedroom.
"Use a silencing charm!" Pansy called after them.
"Aw," Luna pouted.
"I don't want our movie being interrupted."
"Okay," Luna sighed before pulling Pansy into a snuggly position on the couch.
A couple of hours later, they were all getting ready for bed. Thankfully, it was a king size because with four of them it was a tight fit.
"Can I be a little spoon in front of you?" Luna asked. "Or will that be uncomfortable?"
"It should be alright," Pansy replied. "I just need Harry's hand right... here."
She pulled his hand low on her stomach and started to smile.
Luna looked thoughtful for a second and hopped out of bed. "Let me check something real quick."
Harry yawned as he curled behind his wife. "I wonder what that's about."
Luna returned wearing some very colorful glasses, with one pink and one blue lens.
"What are those?" Parvati asked.
"We call them Spectrespecs," Luna replied as she looked at Harry and Pansy and pulled the covers down a bit to look at where his hand was resting. "Oh my!"
"What?" Pansy asked.
"Harry, do you know what you're doing?"
He shrugged. "Making Pansy feel better."
"But do you realize how you're doing that?" Luna persisted.
"I don't know," he said. "She said it feels better when I put my hand there, so that's what I do."
"You're basically casting a pain transference spell," Luna answered. "Without a wand, the effect might not be too powerful but Pansy clearly feels it. Do you?"
"Maybe a little something," he yawned again.
"Harry has a rather horrifyingly high pain threshold," Pansy sighed. "But I suppose this does explain why I don't feel too out of sorts after a couple of days most months."
"How long has this been going on?" Parvati asked.
"Every full moon for nearly four years," Pansy replied.
"You lucky bitch."
Harry's only answer was a soft snore.
"I wonder if that has helped to keep your cycle regular too?" Luna pondered as she tapped at her glasses.
"Sleepy time," Pansy interjected.
August 25th, 1997 Diagon Alley
Luna was looking around and thinking that many of the stores were quite packed that day. Perhaps she and her father should have chosen to shop earlier.
"Something wrong, apricot?" Xenophilius asked.
"I was thinking that we may be delayed by how busy everything is."
"Well, we could have done this a week ago, but you were having fun with your friends," he replied as he noticed her yawn. "I could have let you sleep a bit later, I suppose."
"I'll manage," Luna shrugged and began to hum to herself as she looked through the book lists.
"Did you decide to keep going with Potions?"
"Yes, it seems too useful to drop."
Her father nodded and pulled his wand out to make a copy of her list. "Why don't I go get the necessary supplies from the apothecary while you finalize the books you'll be wanting?"
"Thanks, Daddy," Luna grinned.
"We can meet at Fortescue's for a treat then," he suggested. "It isn't too warm today, but I do so enjoy his white chocolate raspberry ice cream."
"That is yummy," Luna agreed as she made sure she had her coin purse with her. "I'll see you soon."
Flourish and Blotts wasn't too full, but she nearly ran into a couple of people as she gathered a stack of books. She had finally decided on continuing with Care of Magical Creatures (of course), Charms, Defense, Potions, Runes, and Transfiguration. Six NEWT classes was likely going to be a bit of work, but she wouldn't have Harry and Pansy there to distract her- and no more worrying about Death Eaters either- so she could manage it.
Getting into line, Luna noticed that Padma Patil happened to end up right behind her, along with who she assumed was Mrs. Patil.
"Hello, Padma."
"Hi, Luna," came the reply as Padma looked awkwardly at her mum for a second. "Hey, you haven't seen Harry and Pansy recently, have you?"
"Just a couple of days ago, actually," Luna said.
"Then you've seen my daughter," Mrs. Patil interjected. "Is she alright?"
"Parvati is rather stressed at times, when she thinks about the coming term at Hogwarts and returning here," Luna answered. "However, she was mostly doing well as she buried herself in the task of having fun while she still could. We all went to Niagara Falls together on the last day I was there."
"At least she's safe," the older woman sighed. "I wish she would talk to me about things. I never meant to drive her off."
"Parvati's always been more impulsive," Padma shrugged.
"And stubborn," her mum added. "Just like her father."
"I hope he didn't try to claim she'd been kidnapped," Luna said. "That could be troublesome."
"No, he was just bluffing," Mrs. Patil replied. "He was just trying to shock her into coming home."
"It didn't work," Luna offered.
"I know," she frowned. "I hope we can talk when it's time for the train. We've got most of her things already for the coming year."
"You did?" Luna wondered. "I think she was a bit concerned about how to get hold of her supply list."
Mrs. Patil looked sad for a moment. "She is still my daughter. A little disagreement would never change that."
"I'm glad you feel that way," Luna replied. "I hope you can work something out with her, for all your sakes. Parvati is a lovely person."
"Yes, she is," her mother smiled.
"Next!"
"Excuse me," Luna said as she went up to the counter.
When she found her father a few minutes later, he had already ordered a cookie dough for her. Luna set the stack of books down and slid them out of the way so she could focus on eating. She could use a bit of energy for the rest of their shopping.
"Did everything go alright?" Xeno asked between bites of his mint chocolate chip.
"Better than I expected," Luna answered. "I might have helped some friends out."
"That's always a nice feeling," he smiled. "Doing a good deed helps to keep the vengeance fairies away too."
"They are big meanies," Luna agreed.
"So, sixth year," Xeno said as he stared at his daughter. "That means apparition lessons will be coming soon. Are you looking forward to it?"
"I think I might ask Harry for some help. He's rather good at it."
"Will he be available? I thought they were still on their honeymoon."
"He and Pansy have really enjoyed New York," Luna grinned. "They haven't gone anywhere else for six weeks. I think they might end up living there."
"Did they say anything about it?"
"Nothing specific, it's just a hunch," she shrugged.
"You mother and I went there briefly," Xeno got a sad smile on his face. "It was about a year or so before you were born. She loved it, but it was a bit too crowded and busy for my tastes."
"I think I might try to date this year," Luna said.
"Oh my," he sighed. "And without Harry or Pansy there to threaten any little ruffians who might break your heart."
"I can take care of myself," she grinned.
"Do I need to teach you the Contraceptive Charm?"
"Pansy already took care of that."
"Of course she did," Xeno chuckled. "Should I worry about whatever else she may have taught you?"
"They taught me a lot of things," Luna replied with a dreamy smile.
"Well, I just hope that whoever the lucky person ends up being, that your potential paramour treats you right. Especially if you're starting to think about having sex."
She was considerate enough to wait until he had finished his last bite of ice cream before she responded. "But I already did."
Xeno sputtered only briefly, but Luna still ended up giggling. "When? Who with?"
"This summer, and Harry and Pansy," she replied.
"Both of them?"
"At the same time," Luna sighed happily. "It was wonderful."
Her dad chuckled for a second and reached across the table to hold her hand. "I'm happy for you, sugarplum. But if that's the case, then why are you now wanting to date at Hogwarts?"
"Neither of them are ready for a polyamorous relationship," she shrugged. "I still love them to pieces, but I think it might be wise to look for a little romance elsewhere. Plus, it could be fun to end up in a broom closet with someone. I think it could help relieve the stress of my NEWT years at least."
"That is logical," Xeno said with a grin. "Your mum and I did something similar during our seventh year."
"Then, can you tell me the best place to go?"
"Didn't Harry and Pansy have any advice for you about that?"
"They rarely bothered with broom closets," she pouted. "So, they couldn't give me any good tips."
"Well, let me think for a minute..."
Author's Note: I think a couple of open-minded free spirits like the Lovegoods would be the type of family who could openly talk about sex. God bless 'em, lol
Hope you're all doing well. I'm trying to avoid heat stroke- I hate summer weather. Till next time!
