Memoriam of a Team
AN: After what happened to my old Gold Version (after dropping it a few times accidently it started erasing itself so it needed replacing AND I WAS ALMOST TO ASH) I decided to write this honering the memory of my downed Pokemon Team. Enjoy!
Jason looked on up to the Pokemon Tower. Then hung his head. It was here that his best team of Pokemon were buried.
How did they die you ask? He was heading his way up Mt. Silver, to meet up with the greatest trainer of them all, Ashton Satoshi Ketchem. But unfortunately that was not to be so. After leaving the Pokemon Center up there, a sudden avalance from above started to come on down. In his attempt to escape from it, his Pokemon somehow freed themselves. He tried to return them but no, they gave their lives to save their master.
Jason hated to see his team go. The only one that survived was the lengendary creature, Ho-Oh, but he let it go, for it didn't seem right to have him without his team.
Jason sadley walked into the building and looked through the building until he could find his team, his Pokemon's tombstones.
RIP. That's what was writtin over each of them. On each one this was what was written.
Meganium.
Jynx
Spidey (Ariados)
Heracross
Sudowoodo
And below their names were written, "These Pokemon gave their lives so that their trainer could live, may these Pokemon live will in the next life.
Jason looked over each of their names with reverence. Meganium, he liked her since he started out with her as a little Chikorita. Of all the starter Pokemon in Johto, he liked her the best.
Spidey, it was one of the first Pokemon he caught, when it was a Spinerak. He neglected him at first, but he grew on Jason and then he became a strong Ariados.
He looked at Sudowoodo. If it weren't for him he would not have captured Ho-Oh in the first place. He was liked him as much as Meganium.
He then looked as Jynx and Heracross, he adored them, but what made it even sadder was that he traded for them, they were not originally his. He looked down and said, "I'm sorry" to their original trainer, wherever he was now.
As he looked solemly at his fallen comrades he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw Alex/Ed, his rival and friend. "I'm sorry for them", he said, "I wish there was something I could do."
"No Alex/Ed, it was my responsibility to look out for them and I failed", said Jason.
"You are wrong", said Another voice, they looked and there stood another trainer, Cory, "They made the decision to die not you, they were trying to protect you."
"When it should have been me protecting them", said Jason.
Alex/Ed slapped him and said, "I don't know about you protecting them, but moping about what they did is not going to get you anywhere, is that what you think they would want?"
"Yes, Jason, don't think of this as the end of the road, think of it as an end of one chapter and the beginning of a new one, you know the way forward, so what if you got sent back to start, you can still go on!"
Jason shook his head and said, "You are right, I will miss them, but that must not stop me from continuing forward!"
"That's our Jason", said Alex/Ed.
Looking at the graves he said, "I will make a fresh start, I will try to build an new and possibly better team! And Ho-Oh! WATCH YOUR BACK! YOU WILL BE MINE ONCE AGAIN! IN SWEAR THIS IN THE NAME OF MY OLD DEPARTED TEAM!"
The End
I know it was probably stupid but, I felt inspired to do this, to help me feel better. Well, see you in the future!
