"Independent," The chief uttered after finally reading the note ,after her meeting with her ex husband she completely shut down out of anger and refused to talk to anybody before she calmed down, and when Amber came in with the note she ignored her in fear that she might snap and cause an awkward rift between the two. However this note, the handwriting, it's context, seemed to infuriate her further for he had gotten away with lying to her again, and still she didn't push for an answer.

She rekindled in last night's events once more, the anger, the aggression, the passion. His lips against hers that caused a surprise, a reaction unintended. Although that slap was satisfactory it is still left to wonder what would have happened had she not pulled away, just to see what his intentions were, then after she reeled him in she would push him away, out of spite of what he had done to her.

However the note gave her a sense of relief, for now she didn't have to worry about the next move that the council may make and could focus on her day to day duties and it would also mean that her daughter, was due for an early release and an apology for prolong it for so long. But the possibility did still lurk, that this was all a lie.

You see, Lady Riles had no intent to detain her daughter for longer out of resentment, but much rather as means of protection. She knew that the council would be forceful with their approach to find a suitable match for the chief's daughter as soon as possible to prevent future hassle, so as a result she kept Urbosa in a cage under strict rules for she knew in that place would the rules only apply to her daughter.

However, her initial reasoning for imprisoning Urbosa wasn't as means of protection, it was just seen as a way to have a relaxing time period were she only had to worry about the village. And also it was seen as a punishment for the words that were exchanged that night ,she didn't know about Urbosa's feelings toward her ways and when they were finally expressed she got mad, saw it as a teen being ungrateful, and locked her up for her own desires of a 'peaceful period.' She now realised how wrong this was, that it was perhaps her fault that her daughter was so rebellious.

Standing up she slowly made her way towards the door, contemplating what she was going to do next and how she was going to do it. It was now pretty obvious that she was going to have to release Urbosa and she didn't feel very comfortable with going there herself since she knew that there was a lot of tension between her and her daughter due to all of this imprisonment and how long it had dragged out, looking back this whole situation had now seemed as though it were ridiculous.

She opened the door with the steady hand, she was mindful that it was already the next day and that it was morning however, staying in a room by herself seemed like a sensible idea at the time if she was planning on up holding her reputation as a calm and collected leader. She pushed the door open and made her way out of the area, unsure of whether she was thankful for the encounter the night before, or regretting committing to it.

Upon her walk she met eyes with Amber, who respectfully nodded her head whilst continuing her patrol, at least things didn't end awkwardly.

For now she made her way toward the prison for she felt the need to issue Urbosa's release personally for she had now the upper hand, a prediction of a highly esteemed and experienced fortune teller. Who also happened to be a cheating dirt bag.

"Urbosaaaa..." An eerie voice rang out.

"Come out and play, papa only wants to speak with you." He continued on and on like a haunting ghost

"Let's stop with the hide and seek, I'm tired, you can come out now." Urbosa found herself unable to move from her spot, shaking in her place, the all powerful daughter reduced to nothing upon hearing a voice. The closet door was open ajar and She would have to shift positions to see through it, she wanted this to be done already, she wanted to leave, she wanted to wake up.

Upon shuffling around a bit Urbosa had managed to find a position suitable but as she settled the doors creaked open slightly, with no force leaving a loud creaking noise to reek amongst the walls.

"My my."The foot steps stopped, he stopped, that must have meant...

"It seems as though even the world is against you, Urbosa..."

A few feet away he stood only the side profile visible, in a hutched back position as his neck uncomfortable twisted around to where she was sat, powerless. "Found yooouuuu!!!"

"No!" Urbosa jumped up from where she was layed down, well, sat down more like. It was a round the afternoon by now but since Urbosa's favourite pass time was sleeping now she didn't really care for the time, whether it was early or late. The nightmares would fade in now and again but this one had proved to be the worst of the week.

Then, as though conveniently placed, she heard the sound of shoes on hard concrete, presuming her mother had arrived Urbosa let out a long groan of distress, she hated her mother's weekly check ins because they were so, well, awkward. She would never be able to find the right things to say because she was so angry at the sight of her mother, and she tried not to arrange her words into a long exasperated grunt.

But, her ears perked up, voices, or more like a voice, a particularly deep voice that belonging to a... voe. A deep smooth voice that would be enough to send chills down anyone's spine, there was no way, was it-

"Urbosaaaa," He spoke "How is my little girl doing, not so well I'm guessing." He gave a large fake smile , making it seem like he was humiliating her when she was in this position his silky voice making it even more unsettling and irritating.

"Why are you here, to mock me? A future leader in a cell would look rather amusing to you I take it?" Urbosa stood up from her position to face the wall allowing for the jacket to drop to the ground, "Just-"

"Who's is that, I doubt you'd wear such masculine attire." Her father asked suddenly, his attention fully on the jacket now. "It's not like you to have any male friends, Urbosa."

"Irin take him away." Urbosa said rapidly, "I want him to be out of my sight and range if you please." Irin nodded her head in obedience "Right away, Lady Urbo-"

"No." Her father interrupted "I refuse to leave 'till you satisfy my question." Irin backed away slightly, careful not to anger the man, "I'm sorry sir, but-" "She is but a brat behind bars, what is she to tell either of us what to do." Ibal protested.

"It's none of your business." Urbosa uttered in a low, almost sad voice. Ibal smiled at this seeing an opportunity to make her crack. "Irin," He started "Is it possible to give us some room?" Irin was visibly confused as to whose orders to follow and began fidgeting with her spear. "Sir, I don't know if I should, with All due respect I don't believe that you should be left alone within these... premises." Ibal gave off a smirk. "Don't worry, these scum aren't worth freeing, besides I will only need 10 minutes and then I will leave." He smiled, attempting to charm the woman with his devilish charm causing for Irin to blush slightly before bidding her head and scampering away.

"Now where were we." Ibal slowly turned back to the cell to see Urbosa with her back still to him, he glared at her with those red eyes he harboured, a sign to let her know he was still there. "Make it swift, I haven't got all day."

"I don't plan on telling you anything, it's not like this information will benefit you anyway so what's the point." She persisted peering over her shoulder to return his glare.

"What's his name." Ibal spoke with the assistance of a frustrated tone, gripping the bars, he hadn't much time. Though it didn't seem it the information was valuable. However Urbosa had shown no signs of breaking. "The boy with the raven hair." He said trying to get her to speak "What is his name?" He had managed to get a reaction out of her, she tensed at the moment where he manage to state Ruben's hair colour, was it just a coincidence, no, how likely was he to say raven hair. Or perhaps...

"What did you see?" Urbosa asked, knowing she was unable to get out of this situation as her father had most likely seen what Ruben had looked like through his visions, that meant that he knew of their further interactions. Why would he want the boy's name if they had only spoken once? Would they encounter again in the future? What kind of encounter would it be? Was it a bad or good? Does he want to prevent it or encourage it?

"I don't feel in the mood to tell you," he gripped the bars and turned away agitated. "All I can say is, that it's quite bizarre, so, tell me his name."

"No." Urbosa responded, from the years of getting to know her father she knew that no good could every come with trusting him with information. "I don't think it's that urgent, so I won't let you have it." Her father sighed, noticing Irin rushing back, the 10 minutes must have been up.

"Fine be difficult." He said with a grunt "It's not like you value your mother's life anyway." Urbosa's eyes shot wide open as she swiftly turned around, "Did you just threaten my mother you swine!" She shouted in a fit of rage.

"What are you gonna do, chase me." His voice was eerie, spine chilling, and a sinister laughter followed. "Come to papa why don't you." She froze and hugged the wall behind her, she was helpless, she was a child she had been found. "NO!" she screamed all of a sudden, causing for silence to befall them. They all stood there still in momentary silence just due to how abrupt this out Burt of somewhat helplessness was and like that, awkwardness befell the room and thickened the atmosphere.

"You!" A powerful voice could be heard form the end of the corridor, only one that the chief herself could possess, lo and behold there she stood. "You should have left hours ago, why are you still here, how are you still here, and why did you decide to agitate my daughter?! Why even step near her?!" Ibal stepped close feeling the anger rising form the chief making his heart flutter.

"Irin lead me down here after our brief chat, didn't you Irin?" Irin stood frozen in place, struggling for words as she was now placed in the conversation,

"W-well-"

"I couldn't care less for an explanation! Get this gremlin out of my sight and ensure there are no detours, no matter how he may charm you." Lady Riles frowned at the schemey man as he replied with a smile

"Are those bags under your eyes? My, have I been keeping you up at night?" Lady Riles gritted her teeth at the fact that she was still being teased by this lowlife, but before more words could be exchanged, Irin came in swiftly and firmly dragging the man out by his collar, it seemed like the best way to avoid confrontation so she went as she did, not saying a word whilst Ibal began screaming like a moody child to be unhanded.

Lady Riles diverted her eyes from the scene to her clearly distressed daughter, her heart ached for her in her place, and for her to have that awful man her whilst she was alone, "Are you alright?" Lady Riles asked, to which she was met with a cold sarcastic stare. "I see it ,don't worry. That question was absurd and I shouldn't have asked that, I'm... I'm sorry." Her dialogue was met with an awkward silence , neither knew what to say and thus stood to say nothing. Lady Roles broke this silence with a firm clearing of her throat, no longer wishing to stay in this uncomfortable environment she broke the good news. Taking out the keys in her pocket she walked towards the cell, "We'll talk under different circumstances."

"Where am I?" Ruben wondered as he got up from the grass he was lying in, in fact it had seemed as though he were surrounded by this grass, a field. Upon getting up he had realised that his attire had consisted of all white, "What's going on?" Questioning his surroundings as he walked he had also realised that the environment was unchanging as though he had been walking in place this whole time.

However he carried on, what else was their to do after all? Whilst continuing this pointless journey he saw another colour in the distance, starting off with a red, It was a figure, and one with dazzling chocolate brown skin and enticing emerald eyes, she turned toward him clearly distressed, eyes that showed her pain, she too was dressed in all white, "Urbosa?" He asked her, "Hey, wh-" before he could finish his sentence, she wrapped her arms aroun him, her face buried in him chest and fingers clinging tightly to his shirt.

The moment ,though abrubt, was warming to Ruben, this was an affection which no one had displayed to him before, not even his father had been this close to him, and he reached to return Urbosa's tight embrace, before two pale hands0 restricted his hands from going any further from his sides

"Where are you going?" a familiar voice from behind him asked, "Let's take some time, to get to know eachother," She pulled him away with an unstoppable grip as Urbosa looked back up at him with eyes of longing, and it wasn't long, before she was getting further and further away form him.

"No!" Ruben exclaimed "Don't leave! Let me go! I don't want this! I don't want you!" the woman who held him in place stopped in place breathing angrily down his neck "You don't even know her!" Ruben was thrown to the ground in an instant, unable to do anything, and that's when he saw, the girl who had confronted him at the stables. Her face had gotton closer and closer till it was as though the air that they had exchanged seemed to be the only air that had existed in this vast land. "We're not even worlds apart." She whispered seductively "We're closer than you think, you may not know now ,but," She place a hand on his face gently, Ruben then found that he could no longer breath, as the other hand was around his neck, this girl moved her her face so that there was no longer a breathing distance and that their lips almost touched, "I'll find my way to you, soon enough." she reached to place her lips before his-

"Gah!" Ruben awoke, his eyes wide open, breathing ceased and sweat pouring at the bucket load "A d-dream?" He carfully got up, arms shaking from how used to being asleep he was and head dazed from the drowsiness "Why was she there?" He wondered "Why were they there?" Ruben sat up shook his head to shake himself awake, pondering about the dream that he had just had, the significance of the two girls, and Urbosa's eyes.

Looking to his left he saw his sleeping friend, they had today to recive their stock from Gerudo before leaving to go back to his father's stable.

Ruben retreated back into the warmth of his rickety bed ,pondering back to the dream all the while. The stable girl didn't seem to be there at this time and he held no particular interest in her, her only marketable trait seemed to be 'annoying' since she had this weirdly up beat voice and being oddly adhesive to those she would strike conversation with. Or perhaps she was only like that to him? But this brought him back to the question, what significance did she hold? This also brought him back to the dream, he thought about how much he was enjoying his time with Urbosa before she stepped in. All of this thinking caused for him to go in a long train of thought, the what ifs and the whys, before he stumbled upon a certain possibility, what if the roles were reversed. What if Urbosa was the one enticing him, would the dream have been so bad?

The thought caused butterflies in his stomach and for his face to start burning up to a boiling red. "Would she do that?" He wondered aloud, touching his lips. He then felt his trousers getting... rather tight, all of a sudden and his abdomen felt quite, uncomfortable. Ruben then shook his head like a mad dog and had managed to blush even harder, making it seem as though he were a tomato. "You've met her once, once! she doesn't even know your second name and the thought of a mere kiss is getting you aroused! you don't even know what she's like! My you've met once! This isn't very gentalmanly!"

"Well well."A tired voice resonated beside him "Somebody seems to be mellow today." It was Karu, grinning ear to ear whist watching Ruben suffer. Ruben Quickly turned to his side in embarrassment of being seen in such a state. "Shouldn't you be packing", Ruben stated gruffly.

Karu got up from his bed, sighing whilst he stretched his arms and yawned before returning to tease some more, he hadn't planned on an early morning ruining the mood. "Was it the fine specimen from the day before, you know, the stable girl." Karu raised his eyebrow teasingly, leaving the cheesy smile on his face to prosper, that was before a pillow came flying his way and hit him in the face.

"Pack!" Ruben shouted, still feeling self conscious about his thoughts. Karu jumped out of bed, exited to start the day with a new topic of conversation. And a seemingly embarrassing one. "You kids, grow up so fast." Karu sighed "Where did all the time go."

"I'm 17 Karu, I only met you two years-"

"Oh the time!" Karu suddenly exclaimed "Why didn't you wake me! It's almost noon." Ruben pulled the covers off and pulled his boots on, "I had woken up myself a few minutes prior." He explained.

"Why, are we late?"

"To put it simply, we may need to speed things up slightly, I expect that we won't be able to make it back to your father's stable in time judging by the pace that we're going at."

"In that case," Ruben began "We must set off hastily." He grabbed his pack whilst doing so, the pair hadn't bothered with changing their clothes since they knew that they were running on a tight schedule come the next day.

"I couldn't agree with you more, the later we get there the less hearty durian we will be able to scavenge." Karu presumed, throwing his pack into the carriage with an effortless grunt. Ruben followed and did the same.

Just as Karu took the reigns, a girl rushed up to the two, who were ready to set off, and stopped them in their tracks. "Wait!" She screamed making Karu jumped out of shock, and Ruben's head instantly snapped toward the source, it was the girl he had seen that night, the same girl who threw flirtatious remarks at him whilst he was attempting to train, in fact the atmosphere that night had become so uncomfortable that Ruben had decided to retreat to his chambers and missed out on the precious training that which he struggled to keep secret. "You venture off to the desert in a wagon on this day, the dingy thing will collapse and won't hold for but a moment. Here." she gave the pair a very large pack, that of which was plopped down with such ease by one of the rather built stable bucks, "This should aid your findings." She looked at Ruben for a split second, a coy smile playing on her face.

"And what would you expect in exchange?" Karu asked. The girl smiled and confidently raised her finger towards the male teen standing next to him, at Ruben. "His lips."
