My god. I'm sorry for the loooonnnngggg delay. I can't put myself into writing these days, a lot happened. Don't worry about me losing motivation in making stories, I just got distracted that I decided to not write until I feel that I can. Thank you guys for the constant supports.

To Pirohiko-Baltazar: Yeah, FK Blitz. I replayed the goddamn mission many times to try to block it, ended up using a freaking Gold Orb to revive. Though I still find Chimeras more annoying.

About Blake not traumatized seeing Yamato, let's put it simply she got over that.

"That doesn't really sound like a challenge." Coco doesn't seem the request being hard to complete. "We have faced worse."

"Doesn't mean that you won't feel the pain." Weiss counters. "And given that HE is the one giving the challenge..."

"Either what we get next is as annoying as those bushy demons, or the boss... no, the boss is just another frog, isn't it?" Blake groans.

"Well at least we're gonna have another eye candy..."

"One more word Yang and don't expect any more 'favors' from me."

"Oh come on Blake!"

"Hey Blake." The Faunus turns to T.O. "How has it been with Adam? Any good progress?"

"You should really know the..." Blake notices his left hand subtly makes a movement of writing a pen. Immediately knowing what he's implying, she answers: "He's still not trusting the human, but at least he can give others the benefit of the doubt. That keeps most of the contracts... executable."

"Oh, you are a friend with him?" That question from the leader of CFVY earns her looks of surprised from RWBY and JNPR. "We crossed each other during a collab mission between Beacon Academy and the good White Fang. Reliable guy, but rarely spoke a word to us except Velvet. That may be one of the few missions that our girl is the leader in my place."

"He... well, he is like a brother who is a bit skeptical about trust." That's one of the accurate description she could give out about the bull Faunus. "That power obsession is mostly likely gone, though."

That earns Blake looks of curiosity from CFVY...

"I think that's enough." T.O nods. "So that's your answer."

"What answer?" Fox asks.

"Something between us."

Mission 15: Fortuna Castle

Exterminate the defenders of the icy plain!

"Yeah, those frogs..." Weiss groans. "This time I will beat whatever of 'his brother' is."

"All yours. Until then, I will do the rest." Ruby says, as she buys Kick 13. "Why 13 though?"

"...*Shrug*." That's the only response she gets.

After that, Ruby starts the mission. She immediately heads to the Combat Adjudicator and beats it up to get the BOF. "...At this point it's just like a chore."

"Can't really argue with that Ruby." Even the one who likes the game has to agree with that.

...

Making his way through the courtyard on the higher road, Dante notices the sky having lightning strikes, which didn't happen when he 'might' cross the first time. One strike then hits one of the three 'lightning rods'... which reveals itself being decent-sized big demon with red skin and scaled horn and claws. The demon isn't paying its attention towards the Red Devil Hunter until it hears him laughing at it. Changing itself into thunder constantly, the demon teleports around Dante, and when it plans to attack, the Devil Hunter makes an attempt to hit it with Rebellion so it has to teleport away to dodge the hit. With the roar of anger, it releases its power and destroys the three tower tops behind it, indicating the start of the real fight.

Right at the beginning, the demon teleports around, causing the Lock-on system to change position, which makes Dante's model turn towards it constantly in a comical way. That makes Ruby pause for a second to chuckle first before continuing. "That just looks funny, sorry." Then, the demon appears before her, and she decides to slash it once, and instantly regrets it because it causes the electric barrier around the demon to reflect back at her. "Oh really? We can't harm it with our sword?"

"Well... you can, actually." T.O replies. "Just that you're not going to deal damages unharmed."

"So using guns is our current option then." Weiss suggests, which is the same idea in Ruby's head as she activates Trickster and starts dashing/rolling around while shooting...

"And the barrier's duration doesn't count on the demon's health."

"...So basically us." Blake replies. "That demon is just the Huntsman, Devil Version."

"I think the Immortal counts." Monty suggests otherwise. "I mean, the one 'you' and Adam fought on Ironwood's train."

"Oh that one, yeah. It had shield." Yang remembers.

Ruby dodges an electric beam from the demon's arms, which makes her remember T.O's challenge. "Wait a second, you're telling me to block THAT attack?"

"Every attack, aside from the demon's teleportation." T.O says, just in time when the demon disappears, and a few seconds later thunder sparks on the floor under Dante, causing Ruby to make him jump away before the demon inflicts pain to her due to its appearance. "Oh, that is an attack."

"Ok, how?" Coco has to question the possibility of the challenge now. "And I mean in this game. We can try using something that's not metal to block the damage, but..."

"He's the Son of Sparda. He can withstand that." Oum jokes. "That aside, Royalguard is one of the most powerful in Devil May Cry series since it can block everything. And I mean EVERYTHING, if you have good timing."

When the demon appears on top of Dante and attacks, Ruby manages to get one block right. "Ok, that's one..." Wait, change to Trickster occasionally to dodge hit that's hard to deal with. Block the 'backflip then dash' attack from the demon. "That's two..." The beam starts, and Ruby manages to block three times before getting hit by the rest. "Almost perfect. Aw."

"By the way, when Monty said everything, it means the counterattack as well."

"You mean the damage inflicted back from the electric aura?" Ren asks, instantly knowing what T.O mentions.

That gives Ruby the idea. She waits for the demon to stand still for a second, then attacks it with Rebellion, and instantly uses Royalguard when she 'feels' the attack connects. The result: the barrier is thinner and Dante performs Royal Block. "Now THAT's good." With a few more hits (since the demon doesn't even react for some reasons), she breaks the aura of the demon. "Time for some real damage."

However, it's easier said than done. Even with two Real Impacts combined with some combos, Ruby can only do about three-fourth of the demon's HP. And that's not to say about how the demon keeps dodging and occasionally hits her back.

When the demon's HP gets low after another Kick 13, it starts generating its barrier, the thunder is red now instead of yellow. Ruby tries doing the slash-block thing, but she misses the timing and Dante gets stunned, and the demon's energy explodes, further hurting Dante. And the second phase starts as the demon starts flying around faster, attacks more aggressively, and it starts doing a new move by charging towards Dante with its head. Curiosity 'nearly' kills the cat, as Ruby lets the demon charges Dante. The result: thunder slams directly into Dante and reduces his health until it's a few bars left by the demon's Harakiri.

"...Okay, do we have this kind of annoying Grimm?" Fox questions. "Because I want to avoid them head-on."

"The Tempests sure match." Monty answers. "Though I think this one is more annoying since you can't even hit it if it teleports around."

"Do you know where it could be, Professor?" Velvet asks curiously.

That makes him stop in a moment to try to find an answer that won't spoil the future...

"Those are mythical, to be honest." T.O lies. "Probably someone saw a normal Grimm in a stormy night and got spooked."

Team RWBY and JNPR know that T.O is covering up for Monty so they say nothing. Team CFVY is suspicious but says nothing and accepts the answer. Monty thanks the man through telepathy before returning to the screen...

"Can we borrow that monster?" All eyes snap instantly to Pyrrha.

"Eh... maybe, if Goodwitch and Ozpin don't mind."

"Wait, what does she mean by 'borrow the monster'?" Yatsuhashi questions.

"She means the data to make hollow images." Monty clarifies which calms the student.

"Oh! Maybe I can solo it!" Nora exclaims. "I call dibs on the first fight!"

"...Sure." Weiss agrees. "Other than Jaune, you would be the good one to tank its hits."

After the red strings break, Ruby heads back inside the castle, only to find the entrance to the underground lab and the first floor are completely frozen in ice. She runs around to try to find a way to head to where the Hell Gate is. She runs through the Gallery room and heads to the Library, only to find herself getting ambushed by the Angelos. Though at this point the armors are a joke as Ruby knows how to deal with them. The only problem is when sometimes they use sneak attacks and the Alto calls out a formation to counter her at-the-moment combo.

"Hey, did Ironwood make some Atlas models?" T.O turns and asks Monty.

"Not from... let me rethink... overall, no. He just added the flying equipment on foot soldiers, though those can hover at around 100 meters from a solid surface at best."

"Air-propelled jetpacks? Not Anti-Gravity Dust?"

"We don't have that much Dust to do that."

"Uh, what happened in this room?" Ruby's question drags the two back to the screen. Right now she's in the room where Nero got the Anima Mercury, to see the floor is gone, replaced by a stair that leads down about a floor. "I don't think the big statue crossed here, right?"

"...No idea." T.O shrugs.

Ignoring the big Red Crystal, Ruby jumps down and goes into the door at the bottom, and that leads to the Large Hall. Jumps out of the secret door, everyone sees that a part of the hall is also frozen, which means Ruby has only one way to go: to where the fire-breather thing got destroyed by Nero. She then heads to the Dining Room, and she's greeted by the Scarecrows in both sides. She takes no time with them with a perfect SSS.

Walking out of the room, she plans to head straight to the boss, but the main entrance is also blocked. "So we need to go around to the Graveyard..." She then finds her way to the Torture Chamber...

"Didn't we break the first floor? How can we return back?" Yang asks, reminding her team about when Nero used a Gyro Blade to open a way to the underground.

"There's the 'puzzle' wheel back then that we couldn't reach. Maybe it's the key?" Weiss tries to remember the place as Ruby starts fighting the demons in the Torture Chamber.

Once the forced fight is done, Ruby jumps down to the Spiral Well.

"Why does it called Well?" Coco questions. "And where's the spiral part?"

"Eh..." That's basically everyone's response since no one actually questions it.

Ruby eventually activates the blue glyph and jumps back to the upper floor of the Torture Chamber and heads to the Master's Chamber. In there, she has to fight the Scarecrows 'only' at first, so she has suspected some demons might appear later. And true enough, when there are only two left, the thunder demon appears. However, for some reasons it doesn't attack Dante instantly as it teleports to the other demons first and attacks them.

"Eh, Ruby?" The girl makes a small head tilt to show that she's listening to Velvet. "Once you kill the small ones, can you stop attacking the bigger one for a moment?"

"You see something?"

"I'm not sure Yatsu, but I think I have seen that kind of attack behavior before."

"Okay."

With the Scarecrows dead, the thunder demon starts attacking Dante, causing Ruby to use Trickster to dodge around for the time being. Then, to everyone's slight confusion, the demon starts swinging its arms around it despite Dante not being anywhere near it. Then it teleports away to a location, turning his head left and right to try to find where Dante is...

"That demon is blind." Fox recognizes. "And it seems to not have a good brain either, since it attacks everything it feels nearby."

"That's one thing, but how can you attack without causing noise?" Ren asks. "Real life, we can fake it. But in a game like this?"

"The hit-and-block works well, I suppose." Yang shrugs. "Ruby just has to time it right."

True enough, the combination of the new technique and gun shootings cause the Aura to drop very fast. And now Ruby can even manage to kill the demon before it enters the second phase, but that doesn't mean she's not hit by the last explosion.

"Time for the frog." Ruby puts the controller down. "Weiss, would you..."

"Let me deal with it this time." T.O suddenly speaks up. "There is one technique you might want to know."

"One of Dante's hidden skills, I take it?" Jaune asks as T.O takes the controller. "Some fighting games have those."

"You will see."

...

Even the snow flying couldn't hide a terrible smell that causes Dante to pinch his nose in disgust as he enters the Central Graveyard. He then sees the two red figures...

That causes Velvet, Pyrrha and Ruby to blush, Coco to whistle, the boys to turn their faces away, Weiss and Blake to pinch their nose-bridges in annoyance, T.O, Monty and Nora, Yang to chuckle/laugh at the others' reaction.

Dante whistles twice as he 'admires' the two figures. When the two 'invites' him to 'join', Dante 'accepts' with a 'Baby yeah!' and starts dancing around while 'complimenting' the demons' appearance.

"Okay, jokes aside." Yang has to cough a few times to stop laughing while looking at the others' intensified expressions. "Dante knows what's going on since he dodges their grabs."

"He did." Monty follows with a last chuckle. "He's not a legendary Son of Sparda for no reasons."

Even the frog's attack doesn't surprise him as Dante jumps out at the last moment. Though that surprises the demon as it asks: "What? How did you know!?"

"You can hide that body, but that smell... Hoo! There's no covering up!" Another one in Dante's book of 'How to insult demons 101'.

The demon obviously doesn't take that well as it shouts which causes the tail of Dante's coat to slap on his face: "Insult me one more time and I will make you suffer more than you thought possible!"

And that doesn't faze Dante one bit. "I'd actually like to see you try that!"

With that, the fight starts. T.O immediately uses Trickster to close up the distance. With a few Swordsmaster slashes, a Dive Kick and a shotgun shot to the face, the frog immediately staggers and is immobilized for a moment. Getting close to the boss, T.O equips Gilgamesh and uses Real Impact...

"That's an old skill..."

Before Weiss could even finish, the first hit of Real Impact deals damage, and T.O immediately activates DT, causing the hitbox to reset once, and the normal three hits DT come next, and the last hit applies as he turns DT off. All damages combined reduce the boss' health from nine bars to barely three bars left.

All except Monty slackjaw at the damage the attack just caused alone. They then turn to the person holding the controller with the look of 'We need explanation'. And they receive the answer: "There's a technique called Distortion. It is one of the bugs that the developers didn't fix even when being known."

"Wait, you mean that we can abuse it to go through the game?" Blake asks, surprised at how something like that could be overlooked.

"If you can time it right. Watch." When the frog starts waking up, T.O tries the move again, but the first time it misses, the second time he can only hit the boss once, the last one he can only deal one bar of damage but it's enough to knock the boss out with one small HP left. "Wrong timing or wrong position, along with few hitboxes will make different. That's why it's not as broken as it sounds to be, and it's considered to be a legit move."

That takes others a moment to consume the information as T.O controls Dante to Dive Kick the boss away...

...

The demon is sent flying away, and it tries turning itself around to try to find a way to give a last attack. "Don't think this is the end... there are more of us..." However, Dante instantly Helm-Breaker the demon, turning it into ice and exploding into pieces.

The Devil Hunter then raises his hand up after putting Rebellion on his back and 'pulls' the orb that floats in front of the Hell Gate towards him. Once the orb reaches his hand, it shines up once before showing itself to be a grey briefcase with a three-eyed skull with fang in the middle and cracks emerging from the skull.

"OH THAT BOX!" Ruby exclaims loudly after snapping out of her shock. "We can use it in this game!? YES!"

"...A briefcase weapon like mine, huh?" Coco comments at the design. "Looks good for something from a devil. So what can it do?"

Patting the box twice, Dante moves the weapon over his shoulder and says: "He wasn't kidding, it's like an All-you-can-eat buffet!"

In front of him right now are the 'brothers' of the frog before, ready to eat him up. He starts showing off the weapon by placing it on the ground, and with one bright light, the box turns into a stationary gatling gun. He starts shooting bullets towards the frogs, causing them to start clustering on each other.

"A standard weapon like mine huh? Doesn't seem..."

Dante picks it up, and once again Pandora turns into its different from: A triple-barreled over-shoulder rocket launcher. Once in place, Dante fires three instant rockets towards the ground where the frogs stand. The rockets explode and blow the demons up to the air.

"Never mind. His is better." Coco retracts her statement and starts watching with curiosity and excitement, noticing the hyper Huntress start fangirling. "Hey Velvet, want to try mimicking him?"

"Eh...maybe in a later time."

"Of course."

"Calm down Ruby." Yang says as she tries to pull the girl back to her seat. "Don't knock yourself out when the show's not over." Ren's doing the same to Nora.

The box changes again into a tri-blade shuriken, and Dante throws it towards the airborne demons and cuts through them once each like butter before returning to Dante's hands.

"Hey Coco, you might be able to make that."

"Hm... good idea, Fox. Hey Yatsu, want to spare if I make changes in Gianduja like that?"

"I think you should think of the weight after you modify Gianduja into something like that."

"Ah right, yeah, that would be problematic."

To end the fight, Dante transforms Pandora into its mobile-fortress form, and shoots all rockets towards the demons, killing them and destroying the Hell Gate in the process.

"Think you can make that, miss Adel?" Monty jokingly asks the leader of team CFWY, which earns him a 'I surrender' shrug.

"Won't stop Ruby trying to make one, though." Jaune jokes, which earns him nods of agreement from the others.

Ending the show, Dante places Pandora in its original form down to the ground and opens it with his feet. However, he quickly closes it before whatever the box is going to do. Though, with all the fight and the show, the ground gives away and Dante falls into the Underground Laboratory, which marks the end of the current mission.

"666 forms." Weiss reads the description of Pandora. "That thing alone would beat everything in our world."

"Uh, little help keeping this girl down?" Yang asks as Ruby seems to nearly 'fly' out of her hands due to her own hype. And to answer that, T.O cases the younger sister in ice once then unfreezes her. "Thank you."

"Not all of them are in the game right?"

"If it's a yes, then other weapons are basically pointless miss Adel." T.O then starts the next mission and gives a shivered Huntress the controller. "Calmed down for the next mission?"

"...Cuss you for doing so. And yes, I have."

"Oh and keep this and read later." T.O then gives team RWBY a piece of paper and says. Weiss receives and takes a quick look then nods. "For the next mission... get yourself hydrated."

Chapter 14 end!

Sorry dragonslayerajahn, due to the current structure of the story I can't directly show the world to RWBY casts (due to having team CFWY). Maybe I will read them back in later chapters.

Time to record the next mission. See you guys soon!
