Time for the final missions! Of the main timeline anyway.

To DevilsNeverCry: I will put most of what you said in the extra chapters.

About Royalguard, obviously it takes great mastery. However, except Dante Must Die and Hell & Hell, the contents are really newbie-friendly. And you know how team RWBY has too good reflects to be noobs, so I go for the 'make it a challenge' route. And yes, I did fail, many times, to block those lasers.

Blitz has patterns? Really? Cutlass is EASY with Nero since Charged Shots are OP. Dante... that's another story

Nero heads further into the core of the Savior while Dante is calling him from the outside: "Do what you gotta do kid, 'cause I'm about to send this guy on a one way trip to Hell!"

After shouting to the person in the statue, the Devil Hunter then jumps out of where he stands when Savior's right hand tries to grab him. He lands on the statue's leg, then jumps on the right arm when it reaches for another grab. While running up to the shoulder, Dante slides to avoid a left hand's swipe, then stabs Rebellion to the hand and dangles on it. The statue then goes for a double-hand squeeze, planning to flatten the Devil Hunter, but Dante has already escaped and appeared standing on the hands. He then jumps off but has to block a right punch with his feet, then aims himself so the punch sends him to the left hand. Taking a small time to check where the right hand could be...

"Don't worry." Nero replies with a volume only himself can hear. "I'm gonna get this done!"

"Good luck, kid!"

"Epicness aside..." Coco asks. "Why does Nero's second sentence come so late?"

"Probably just for the scene?" Weiss guesses. "Or maybe he 'feels' that Dante was a bit busy so he waited for the fight to temporarily stop to say it?"

"Just 'Rule of Cool', no more explanations." Yang says, not minding much of the details.

"Do you notice in the cutscene that Nero still has Red Queen?" T.O changes the topic. "In actual lore, he lost both Red Queen and Blue Rose, and he had to go on with only Yamato."

"Where did they go?" Ruby asks.

"Got melted into the Savior when Nero was captured."

Mission 19: The Successor

Surmount the stairs of tribulation!

Getting into the game...

"Oh God, the eyes..." Blake says in mild annoyance. "Thanks, I hate it..."

"Capcom's Eye Fetish..." T.O has to hold a laugh upon seeing the others' disgusted looks. "Just a joke, but they really put eyes in many of their games."

"Please don't suggest us playing any of the games with those eyes." Weiss rubs her eyes, not wanting to see those eyes.

'They ARE going to play one.' Both Oum and T.O have the same thought at the same time.

Ignoring the disturbing eyes moving around, Ruby heads to the next area...

"Five... levels..."

"Of dices." Pyrrha finishes Jaune's tired sentence. "If it's something cool, then I don't mind. But this..."

"Laziness at its finest." Oum shakes his head. "Hope it won't happen again."

"It won't."

...

Dante is holding on Rebellion which is stabbing hard on Savior's arm, as the statue swings the Devil Hunter around trying to throw him away, which also causes Nero to nearly lose his balance. When Dante falls off, he manages to stab his sword on the statue again and hangs himself on the air.

"Talking about shaking things up in here!"

"Hey kid! You should see what I'm going through!"

"Guess we're on the same boat then."

"At least they still enjoy the ride." Coco chuckles. "I would, too."

"Of course you would." Fox says with mock sarcasm.

Mission 20: La Vita Nvova

Destroy the evil Sanctus!

...

Heading to the core of Savior, Nero finally finds Kyrie who's being held inside the core. The girl opens her eyes and sees her love...

"We have originally intended Dante to form the Savior's core." Sanctus breaks up the silence as he appears into the scene. He looks more sinister with horns sprouted behind his back, the white robe is tainted with dark energy, and his hand is holding Sparda Blade which is pointed towards Kyrie to keep Nero in place. "Perhaps it would've been wise to adhere to that choice." His eyes are now flashing in red with a blue jewelry, similar to the Savior, on his forehead.

"First, you are a mood killer." Nora grunts. "Second, no, Dante is NOT going to fall for your trap."

"Dante will walk into traps, that's what he is." T.O replies. "How he got out is another matter."

"Too late for regrets." Nero angrily replies. "Now release Kyrie!"

"Why oppose the Order?" Sanctus asks back, not caring of the young Hunter's order. "I knew your faith was weak, but I always thought you served our wishes."

"If you knew his faith was weak, then why keeping him in your order?" Ren argues. "There's no one stupid enough to keep someone who didn't believe in you around, unless you wanted to use the person for your own gain."

"Seems like Sanctus didn't think that far." Weiss agrees.

"Bad enough you lying about all this and trying to kill me... But what really pissed me off was using Kyrie."

The girl smiles happily as she sees how Nero cares for her so much. Though the smile turns off as Sanctus chuckles.

"What is that? Love?" After the mockery, Sanctus orders the core to pull Kyrie back into it.

"Just kill him already." Weiss grunts, even though she knows there would be a boss fight before that.

"Look it up." Channeling his demon power, Nero releases a slash wave to Sanctus, but the evil priest reflects it back to him easily, causing Nero to push the attack away. At that moment Sanctus fades away to hide from Nero for a moment.

"Come on kid! It's time to finish this!" From outside, Dante shouts to hurry the young Hunter.

"Wrapping things up on my end."

"Don't be too sure, boy!" Sanctus takes that as an invitation of challenge, as he emerges from the ground behind Nero. Though he quickly dodges Nero's attack and reappears from afar. "Although flawed, the power of the Savior is beyond that of which you can defeat." The two then release an attack wave towards each other, creating a small explosion that starts the boss fight.

After a few shield breaks, the only new move Ruby witnesses so far is when Sanctus emerges from the ground and tries to slash her on the back. Other than firing a few more fireballs. At least she can punch him (in vulnerable state) with her Spectral Punch and squash him into the core.

"By the way." T.O speaks up when Sanctus' health has only a half remained. "Remember when Credo throws his spear? Use DT when happened."

"...I didn't see him throw the sword anytime." Ruby replies back in confusion.

That warning turns out to have a reason, because when she breaks Sanctus' first barrier when he's about a bar of health left, Sanctus starts charging up which pushes her away a bit. His posture instantly reminds her of Credo's stand, so she activates DT...

Sanctus flies towards with Sparda's tip heading straight to the young Hunter with full intention to kill him. However, with a well-timed right hook, Nero completely breaks Sanctus' attack by hitting him straight to the chin, staggering the evil priest. Then, with an epic camera shot in three different angles, he and his Stand punches Sanctus back to the core, with a last shout...

"JACKPOT!" Nero's shout is being replicated by the trio of hyper-energetic girls in the group. You can guess who.

"THAT'S satisfying." Coco and Weiss say at the same time.

"Hey Velvet, can Anesidora copy this? I think it looks badass!"

"Technically... yes, Fox."

"That would surely keep Cardin out of you." Velvet yelps in surprise as Yatsu pats her shoulder with a light-toned joke.

"Wasn't Weiss' Semblance..."

"No, T.O. I know it sounds cool, but I have NO reasons to waste my Aura like that."

"Didn't you..."

"A part that helps me in combat, that's a yes Yang. Not a full copy which mimics my moves."

"So basically me then."

"No offense, but can you move your clones Blake?"

"...My other does."

...

Staggering back, Sanctus only has a small moment to try to watch Nero's movement before he's slashed right through his torso. However, he wasn't cut in half, possibly because he has some sorts of devil healing in him that prevents it for a moment.

"The power of Sparda... Why won't you give me strength?!" The evil priest shouts the question at the sword he holds in his hands. "Am I not worthy!?"

"Never could take those legends too literally." Nero answers that question in his own understanding. "But I do know that Sparda had a heart. A heart that could love another person, a human." He then points his human finger accusingly towards the evil priest. "And that's what you lack!"

Angered by the provocation, Sanctus points Sparda directly towards Kyrie, planning to threaten Nero to not do anything rash.

Kyrie is afraid, but her mind calms down when Nero assures her: "This time I will save you. Just hold on..."

"Don't move!" Sanctus shouts as Nero walks closer to them. "Or I will..."

However, Nero casually throws Yamato in front of him in a casual mansion, confusing the evil priest. And that confusion turns fatal as Nero throws the Spectral Arm out and slams him into the core, knocking the air out of him. In a split second, Nero grabs Yamato and cuts off the layers that hold Kyrie captive, then turns his back on Sanctus and delivers a stab through the person's body, then forcefully pulls the sword out so the wound would confirm the death, or Nero just wants to holds Kyrie on time before she falls. With that, Sanctus dies and his body explodes in a bright light before fading away.

"Another bites the dust." Ren says, feeling satisfied that justice's delivered.

The others also cheer, in silence, that the good guy has won...

For a moment.

"Sorry I took so long... Kyrie?"

Waking up from the sleeping spell and hearing Nero's caring voice, the lady turns her head and sees herself in his warming arms. She lets out a smile of happiness and hugs him back, taking the moment of quiet to reconnect with the one she loves.

The cheers turn into squeaking of 'fan-girling' when they finally see the two reunited.

...

Dante falls back to the ground and sees the statue punching him with its right hand, so he raises Rebellion up and blocks the attack. However, the Hunter feels the punch completely lack of power and only feels the gravity applying on him. "Ha. It's over." He immediately knows what's going on and pushes the statue's hand away, seeing it not reacting.

"Even if the punch has no force behind, Dante must be very strong to just block the statue's weight alone." Yatsuhashi admires the man's strength. "Even if I train hard, I think the best thing I could block is the Paladin, two at most."

"You can try on the Colossus, if they are willing to activate them."

"...Thanks, but I'm not pushing my luck." He declines Weiss' suggestion.

The Red Devil then looks up to the head of the statue and waits for the couple to get out of statue. Moments later Nero, with Kyrie in his arms and Sparda on his back, jumps through the blue jewel on the head and lands on the floor, signaling that they succeed. Then, in a dramatically slow pace, Nero carries Kyrie towards Dante in the same-pace dramatic song, that even makes the Devil Hunter goes: "Took your time."

"Don't just ruin it Dante." Ruby chuckles at Dante's expression.

"Probably jealous that Nero gets someone." Yang laughs.

"What, you're looking for an apology?" Nero retorts back.

"Well how long am I gonna have to wait for it?"

The banter has to end when all of them notice Savior standing up, but its face gets aged up, looking like an angry Sanctus.

"Oh come on! Just die already!" Nora groans.

"Sanctus' will is strong, have to give him that." Oum says, then whispers to T.O: "Like Salem."

"True."

"This guy just doesn't let it go." Dante starts pulling out his guns, but Nero pulls out Sparda and holds it on Dante's way, stopping the older Hunter on the track.

"This is where it started, and this is where it will end." Nero declares. "By my hand."

"...Alright then." Dante decides to let the young man finish the job as he takes Sparda back. "Go finish it, kid."

Before he goes for the kill, Nero turns his head back to Kyrie and says: "Wait for me."

The assuring smile from the girl signals a 'Yes' to him, and Nero heads to the statue, leaving Dante to protect Kyrie.

"You know God." Nero's Devil Bringer shines up and the hand curbs into a knuckle, as Nero raises it up to his view. "I always hated that you made my arm like this..."

"To be fair, blame your father." Fox jokes. "He's not there to teach you how to fix that."

"But now with it, I can destroy this thing. Who would've thought!"

The gameplay HUD suddenly appears, causing Ruby to pick up the controller again. "It's not finished yet!?" And she then sees there is NO health bar of the statue. "WAIT! How can I beat it?"

"Just Buster it." T.O says, then adds when Ruby does that immediately and earns no results. "When it attacks."

After deflecting two punches from the statue, Nero takes a small moment of Savior staggering, and starts gathering his power into the Devil Bringer. "Now I know." He then jumps high up to the air, and the momentum just stops for him to be in front of Savior's face. He then launches a huge Spectral Arm towards the face and grabs it tightly. "This hand was made for sending guys like you back to hell."

Savior weakly struggles to no avail.

"And now...

You...

DIE!"

Nero squeezes both his own hand and the Spectral one, destroying both the face and the Core of the Savior, creating a huge shockwave in the area. Then Nero falls down and lands on both his legs, while the statue falls face-first lifelessly, showing its end has come.

"He better stays down for good." Weiss grunts.

"He is now." T.O confirms.

...

"I guess I should thank you." Making sure Kyrie is okay, Nero heads to where Dante stands with Yamato in his hand.

"But that'd be out of character. Maybe you should just throw an insult my way instead."

"Yeah, that sounds better." Nero follows Dante's joke. "Still, I owe you."

"Don't sweat it." Dante says nonchalantly. "I had my reasons for helping..."

"Yeah, it's because you're his uncle." Jaune says.

"Family helps each other, huh?" Coco says. "Good enough."

"Take care of yourself." Dante takes the leave...

"Wait." Nero calls him back. "You forgot this."

That makes Dante turn back and say: "Keep it."

"What?" That utterly confuses Nero. "I thought this meant a lot to you?"

"That's the only kind of gift worth giving. I want to entrust it to you, and so I am." Dante says his reason. "What you do from here is your call." And this time Dante leaves for real...

"Hey Dante! Will we meet again?"

Not stopping for once, Dante just gives Nero a gesture, meaning that it's a possibility.

"And that's the gesture for everyone to wait for ten years for the game to come back."

"I don't think any developers would allow such long time to make one game."

"They made a reboot, Velvet. Unfortunately... OG fans hate it. Not because of the gameplay, but the story and the characters being bastardised."

"The backlash is that bad?" Coco asks.

"Very."

Nero then absorbs the sword into his hand...

"So... is it the end?" The girl now approaches Nero as she sees the two men having done talking.

"Maybe."

"The city's a wreck..." Kyrie says in a concerning tone.

"Yeah..." Nero doesn't seem to care about that much.

"I... I am still alive, right?"

"Yeah." This time he answers instantly. "We both are." He plans to reach out for her, but then remembers his Devil Bringer and retracts it back. He then asks in somewhat a feared tone: "Kyrie... If I'm a demon... and not a human anymore... is this what you want?"

Kyrie reaches her hands towards Nero's demon arm and answers with no pause: "Nero, you are you. And it's you I want to be with... I don't know anyone who is as human as you are."

Everyone smiles in silence, not wanting to break the mood even though it's happening in a game.

Seeing that she fully accepts him make he smile in happiness. Nero then reaches for the necklace in his pocket and wears it back for Kyrie. The two then close in for a kiss...

And Nero surprises everyone except T.O as he pulls Blue Rose and points it directly towards the screen, or rather the Scarecrows, and pulls the trigger, killing one in the process.

"THAT'S JUST SPOILSPORT!" Team RWBY except Weiss, Nora and Coco groan instantly and disappointedly that the mood's ruined.

That reaction earns the Watcher a chuckle, soon followed by Oum.

"That's cheap, not going to lie." Ren comments. "Is it related to some sorts of censorship?"

"Nope. Just Capcom being a douchebag." T.O replies. "Seriously though, it's for the next few minutes of gameplay to unlock last ending scenes."

Kyrie is a bit stumbled at why Nero shot something, but quickly realizes the demons around them. Nero starts standing between the Scarecrows and Kyrie and says: "Looks like they're determined to interrupt. Guess that kiss is gonna have to wait."

"It's alright." Kyrie accepts the fact. "I'll wait." At least she has the necklace.

"Thanks." Nero walks forwards and the demons start jumping on him. "Now... LET'S ROCK!"

"Try your best to not let the Scarecrows hit Kyrie."

"Obviously!"

During the time Ruby massacres the demons, Blake asks: "Since the HUD is not visible... is it actually possible to die here?"

"Um... I don't think ANYONE has ever tested that. And I don't think you can die, since their focus is designed to be more on Kyrie herself."

"So this is the end, huh?" Coco finishes her drink cup. "Quite a ride. Thanks for the invitation."

"You say it. Now I think I'm going to make some crazy moves later in the trainings."

"Just don't make it like how Dante plays around." Yatsu reminds Fox. "We're not the same as him. We can use some ideas to help Velvet though."

"I don't think I would need that much, but thanks." The bunny girl replies.

"It isn't over, though." The team turns to T.O. "This is the end of the main story only. There are some more things to deal with."

After dealing with the demons, Nero heads back to where Kyrie is waiting. She then wraps her left hand into Nero's right one, causing the young Hunter to slightly blush a bit. They then watch the peaceful sky in silence...

...

The scene changes. Lady is now seen heading in Devil May Cry Office, where Dante and Trish are resting while carrying Kalina Ann on her back and a small case in her left hand.

"You are a lifesaver. Now I can finally do my job in peace." Placing the case on the table, the human Hunter says her thank.

Dante doesn't really care much as he's reading his magazine. Trish comes up and checks the contents in it... to see a VERY small scroll of possibly money.

"That's WAY too little." Coco questions. "I know it's paper, but that's just..."

"If it was a lifesaver gig, then don't you think we deserve a little bit more? You call this sincerity?"

"More?" Lady argues back. "Was it not your fault that things escalated to the level that they did? Bringing Sparda into the spotlight?" The two enters a staring contest...

"...Right, she did that." Weiss facepalms. "I almost forgot. I'm glad Ruby would never did that though."

"You sure? Some jars of cookie would like to test that." Yang jokes.

"...True."

"I'm NOT that bad!"

They then turn to Dante who then pretends to ignore by trying to hide his face behind the magazine, but Trish takes it away. "Hey! I was just getting to the good part!"

"This is your case too, Dante." Trish reminds him.

"Yeah..." Dante sighs and picks up the magazine again. "Well, we take what we can get, right?"

"That's not how you run business, Dante." Oum chuckles. "No wonder he's always in debt."

"You will see one more reason he might be in debt forever."

"Well..." Lady sees it as a win. "Then it's settled." She then takes her leave...

Trish looks a bit disappointed at Dante, but the expression's gone when the phone rings up. She then answers it, as Lady stops for a moment: "Devil May Cry..." After hearing the call, Trish speaks to Dante: "It's a customer with the password. They're nearby. What should we do?"

"There's a password?" Jaune asks. "Okay, I know it's a business with serious stuffs, but..."

"Not an actual password." T.O explains. "However, nothing is mentioned about what it could be. Us fans predict, seriously, that it could be something like 'Devils' or 'Demons'. If it's joking, then probably 'Pizza'."

"Working for food, I suppose." Pyrrha jokes.

"High chance."

Upon hearing that, Dante closes the magazine and throws it on the table, then reaches for his weapons. "You need to ask?"

"Can I come along?" Lady offers.

"Do what you want, but don't expect to get paid."

"There's something so exciting about all this!" Lady is not bothered by Dante's 'no money for you' statement at all. "You think so right?"

"I won't lie." That's Trish's reply.

"OK, are you ready?" Dante asks...

Then kicks his front doors out of the frame, and the trio make a pose to the camera with explosions behind them. "COME ON BABES! LET'S ROCK!"

"That's awesome!" Ruby and Nora shout out in satisfaction as the result screen comes up as the others clap their hands.

Weiss then turns and asks T.O: "So, what's next?"

"Extra stuffs that will get your hype up even further, obviously." T.O replies. "It's not ever yet."

Chapter 16 end!

The main storyline is done! Thanks you all for joining the ride having the fun with me for so long.

Now, I will add extra chapters to cover the rest of the contents, but until then, I will shift the focus on DMC5. And I believe you guys and I will have MORE FUN with it.

Also, for those who are waiting for V... I'm still trying to make some proper 'plot twists' so I have to ask for your patience.

Once again, thank you all, and see you in the extra chapters!
