LINK TO SECTION RESULTS BELOW
The camera went back to Drake and Ashley smiling.
"Welcome back to the results show of the Tournament of Kikai!" Ashley smiled.
"There is nothing left to say until this section slaps just like the last one so let's get back into it!" Drake grinned.
LUIGI MARIO
NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS./SUPER MARIO BROS
ENTERED IN: Section 1; Number 30
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 3
"Ironically the first person we are talking about was actually the first person to get an elimination." Drake noted.
"Sie Kensou from King of Fighters XIV had fought hard to avenge her teammate and crush Athena, but alas, Luigi is too skilled for him." Ashley lamented.
"He also got lucky on the roulette wheel. " Drake noted. "He has gotten a Smash Ball from it, making him have TWO Smash Balls."
"However, it wasn't a Smash Ball, but rather a FAKE Smash Ball. Something that only the biggest of Smash fans could tell from a fake one." Ashley explained.
Drake then lets out a deep sigh. "But alas, that Fake Smash Ball turned out to be more of a blessing than a curse. Not the best way to end your run, but hey, three eliminations is nothing to sneeze at."
KING DEDEDE
NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS./KIRBY
ENTERED IN: Section 1; Number 20
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 3
"And from one Smasher who has gotten three eliminations to another, Dedede has gotten his third elimination." Ashley noted.
"Yeah, despite having extra fatigued, he has proven that he earned his status of a Really Big Guy by taking out Clark from King of Fighters XIV." Drake smiled.
"But alas, the extra fatigue turned out to be too much for him." Ashley said with a deep sigh. "Maybe if it wasn't for that, he would have survived."
DIMITRI
NODE: SLY COOPER
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 33
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"Full of himself as he may be, Dimitri has proven that he isn't just all talk!" Drake smirked. "In fact, he is greasy sweet!"
"Indeed, he eliminated Toro Inoue from Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale." Ashley noted. He then paused. "I didn't know he had an electric ring."
"Same here. Maybe he lost it when he got arrested in the second game and never bothered getting a replacement before this tournament?" Drake suggested.
The two men then shrugged.
FALCO LOMBARDI
NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS./STAR FOX
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 36
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"Huh. The Smashers had such a strong start, but seem to falter in the next section." Ashley frowned. "Not a single one has survived this section."
"Yeah, and Falco's elimination of Riku from Kingdom Hearts was literally just a stray shot aimed at someone else." Drake lamented. "Not to mention that he got eliminated almost immediately. Well, let's hope that with the incoming section…"
Ashley narrowed his eyes. "Drake! Spoilers!"
Drake winced. "Um, right? My bad!"
Ashley shook his head. "Anyway, there is no point lamenting over who failed to make it in this section. Time to see who made it in."
MARLUXIA
NODE: KINGDOM HEARTS
ENTERED IN: Sector 2; Number 37
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"While not "typical" in a Grim Reaper, Marluxia has proven that he is indeed one!" Drake grinned.
"Indeed. He used his Doom powers over Grim from Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion!" Ashley agreed.
Drake raised an eyebrow. "Is that even allowed, though?"
"Apparently, it is. Just not on living people." Ashley shrugged. "In other words, Marluxia found a loophole and wasted no time abusing it."
"...I mean, I guess that makes sense, but now I couldn't help that he would spam that move against me." Drake muttered.
Ashley smirked. "That would assume you would be conscious for long enough for him to use it."
"HEY!"
BLOSSOM
NODE: CARTOON NETWORK: PUNCH TIME EXPLOSION/POWERPUFF GIRLS
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 43
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"Not surprisingly, a Powerpuff Girl didn't have much trouble surviving the section!" Drake grinned.
"Indeed, her elimination of Napalm Man from Megaman was quite the curb-stomp battle. Especially compared to how much trouble he and Slade gave a group of FIVE fighters in the last section!" Ashley agreed.
"Also, she got picked by the wheel to gain the powers or weapons of the last eliminated person." Drake added. "In this case, it is Toro Inoue. But unlike Cammy, it did little to deter Blossom!"
"When you have super-strength, fighting with random weapons isn't that much of a set-back." Ashley shrugged.
AMY ROSE
NODE: SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 47
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"Speaking of Cammy from Street Fighter V it seems that being an archer just isn't for her as it caused her more harm than good." Ashley said with a deep sigh.
"And Amy wasted no time taking advantage of it, using her hammer and athleticism to eliminate her!" Drake grinned.
STITCH
NODE: KINGDOM HEARTS/LILO AND STITCH
ENTERED IN: Section 1; Number 22
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 3
"And Stitch has proven why he is a fan-favourite with his third elimination!" Drake grinned.
"Indeed, his finisher against Cody Travers from Street Fighter V was quite impressive." Ashley smiled. He then paused. "I actually forgot that Stitch came back as a summon in 3."
"Same and even then, I didn't expect him to use said electric powers." Drake noted. His eyes then lit up. "Hey, do you think we would see the rest of the summons from 3 use their powers?"
"I don't see why." Ashley shrugged. "I mean, sure they could fight without said elemental powers, but that was still a major highlight in terms of presentation and gameplay."
AKANE OWARI
NODE: SUPER DANGANRONPA 2
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 39
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 1
"And Akane has proven why she is the Ultimate Gymnast!" Drake grinned.
"Indeed, while I could argue that she got lucky when her opponent, Karin Kanzuki from Street Fighter V landed on the wheel and got the "The Floor Is Lava" penalty." Ashley mused. "But still, being able to balance on top of the ropes, let alone fight is nothing short of impressive."
"Karin may have been training her whole life, but nothing she has trained for has prepared for a tournament like this." Drake said, shaking his head.
GOOFY
NODE: KINGDOM HEARTS/CLASSIC DISNEY SHORTS
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 50
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 2
Ashley blinked twice. "Um, correct me if I am wrong. But I think we are skipping somebody."
"No, that is on purpose." Drake admitted. "It doesn't feel right talking about one without the others."
Ashley rolled his eyes. "Fair enough."
"Now, Goofy… Is an interesting case." Drake admitted. "Despite getting his eliminations so late in the section, he is actually one of the few who managed to avoid the fighting. How? I don't know. Maybe they just assume that he is unassuming?"
"In the end, he ended up watching the fight between Kim Kaphwan and Chang Koehan, both from King of Fighters XIV." Ashley explained. "It is based on how the latter and Choi defected to join Xanadu."
"Goofy, being the lovable goof, decided to play Counselor and decided to try to get the two of them to work out their problems." Drake explained. He then sighed. "It… Went as well as you would expect."
"So seeing that the two are not going to try to make peace in the middle of a fighting tournament, Goofy decided that they needed to work things out outside of it." Ashley sighed. "By eliminating them."
"Ironically enough, people getting two birds with one stone are rare at these things." Drake muttered. "The only other example I could think of is Lana's elimination of Karas and Omega from the Okron Tournament and even then, it was partly an elimination on Karas' part."
BIG THE CAT
NODE: SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
ENTERED IN: Section 1; Number 4
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 3
"Speaking of killing two birds with one stone, does Big's own double elimination count?" Ashley asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I mean technically?" Drake shrugged. "Sure, he didn't eliminate his nodal companion, Jet the Hawk and Falco Lombardi from Super Smash Bros at the same time, but like… Said eliminations were literally seconds apart."
Ashley shook his head. "I still can't believe all of this happened when Jet got angry at Falco for stealing HIS elimination. Even though it was clear that if it wasn't for Falco, JET would have been eliminated."
"See? Pride comes before a fall." Drake spat. He then sighed. "Ah, well. Regardless of how you view Big's elimination, you have to give him credit. Not too many fighters only get one elimination only to get two more in the following section."
AGENT 9
NODE: SPYRO THE DRAGON
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 31
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 2
Drake grinned. "But now going back to "traditional" double eliminations, Agent 9 proved that you should NEVER mess with the crazies!"
"Indeed, Spike from Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale learned this the hard way of trying to fight him." Ashley frowned.
"Also, so did Luigi from Super Smash Bros." Drake noted. "He has used his skills to not only take away both of Luigi's Smash Balls, but also disorient him and get him to attack the Fake Smash Ball getting him eliminated."
Ashley raised an eyebrow. "I… Don't think he did that on purpose. I mean he was TRYING to, but his own strategy could have backfired on him."
"Hey, hey, so it was more luck than skill, who cares?" Drake said, waving it off. "Not only did he get a second elimination out of it, but also a Smash Ball!"
"True…" Ashley frowned. "First Big and now Agent 9 with Smash Balls. This does NOT bode well for the future.
MUSHU
NODE: KINGDOM HEARTS/MULAN
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 41
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 2
DONKEY
NODE: SHREK
ENTERED IN: Section 2; Number 42
OVERALL ELIMINATIONS: 3
"MUSHU is the one who skipped over after interviewing Akane." Drake explained with a grin. "It wouldn't feel right to have one without the other."
"Indeed, as I expected, those two are quite the dangerous pair." Ashley added. "Hoo boy… Where do we even begin?"
"First off, there is their fight against Rashid from Street Fighter V." Drake started. "Where they make it clear to the aeromancer that they did NOT appreciate being told that Mulan 2 exists. At least in canon. And kicked his ass with Donkey getting the final blow."
"Next, they interrupted the robot between ROB from Super Smash Bros and Servbot from Megaman." Ashley explained. He then winced. "And they were surprisingly violent about it.
"Hey, they are robots. Literally losing their heads is nothing more than an extreme inconvenience." Drake shrugged.
"True... " Ashley winced. "At least Xero knows why to put his foot down about killing."
"Next, they interrupted another fight, this time King Dedede against Dimitri!" Drake grinned. "And yet they did it in the most badass way possible!"
"Yes, I thought that Limit Break only works with Sora, but no, apparently if the bond between two people are strong enough, then any character could do it, as long as one of them is from Kingdom Hearts." Ashley explained with a smile. "Here, they used a variant of Red Rocket!"
"It is fair to say that those two dominated this round!" Drake grinned. "First off, Donkey is the character in UVR-history to get THREE eliminations. Granted, it is due to that Really Big Guy Rule, but still credit where credit is due."
"Next up, Mushu was the one who eliminated King Dedede so he was the one who got the prize!" Ashley grinned. "Turns out, the prize isn't something that will help with fighting, but rather a prize that you would win on a game show!"
"Last, but not least, Donkey won the end-of-section roulette!" Drake grinned. "So HE gets to choose how the next section plays out!"
"'You're the Boss' has already been used so it is out of commission for the time being." Drake explained. "However, along with "King of Smashers" and "Mystery Reserves" are still in the running, there is a new choice. "Uh-oh"!"
Ashley frowned. "Um, here did 'Uh-oh' come from?"
"Good question…" Drake mused. "According to Xero, he genuinely thought Maurice added it in."
Ashley shuddered at this. "That makes me even more worried about that envelope. What if it is put there by a villain?"
"Well, whether we like it or not, someone is definitely going to open that "Uh-oh" envelope." Drake frowned. "Question is, would Donkey be the one to do so?"
Ashley shook his head. "I-In any case, we bid farewell to Grim, Napalm Man, Chang, Dedede, Cammy, Riku, Toro, Luigi, Dimitri and Luigi."
Drake grinned. "And welcome Agent 9, Marluxia, Akane, Mushu, Donkey, Blossom and Goofy!"
"Let's go to the stats!" Ashley nodded.

"Hey, I just noticed something." Drake piped up.
Ashley tilted his head to the side. "What's that, Drake?"
"Back in the second Battle of the Luminaries, besides Spyro of course, Bianca was the only one who got more than one elimination." Drake noted.
"Really?" Ashley asked, stunned. "Wow, in that case, Agent 9 must be going for redemption."
Drake nodded his head. "Also, only TWO people who debuted in the first section actually survived a second one."
"Oh, is that uncommon?" Ashley asked.
"Not really, but usually it is at least a couple more coming to the third section." Drake said.
Ashley frowned. "That just shows how tough the competition is getting, huh?"
"Yeah…" Drake mused. He then looked at the camera with a grin. "But hey, no point in dwelling in the past, we are going to take a small break before going to the next section of fighters and seeing what Donkey's choice is."
