The camera then went back to Drake and Ashley looking refreshed.

"We are back!"

F.A.N.G.

NODE: STREET FIGHTER V

BIG GUY ALERT!

Drake raised an eyebrow. "Huh. This is ironic."

Ashley returned the gesture. "What is?"

"Back when Sagat was in Shadaloo, HE was Bison's number two." Drake pointed out. "And now he is in the same section as the new number two."

Ashley's eyes widened at this. "THAT goofball?"

"Yeah, F.A.N.G. may be loopy as hell, but do NOT underestimate him." Drake warned. "He is a deadly and tricky assassin."

Ashley gulped nervously. "...So his sleeves are hiding hidden weapons."

"Yeah, his LITERALLY POISONOUS HANDS." Drake explained. "No, seriously. That stuff is corrosive!"

Ashley gulped nervously. "Then, people should definitely keep their distance."

"Yeah, on paper, F.A.N.G. could send out blobs of poison that will poison the enemy, draining away at their health." Drake explained. "Sure, it is temporary, but at a tournament like this without breaks, his opponent has to eliminate him. And fast."

AXEL

NODE: KINGDOM HEARTS

Ashley blinked twice. "Wait… What is he going by? Axel or Lea?"

"Well, the tournament is referring to him as Axel so we should refer to him as Axel." Drake shrugged before smirking and pointing to his finger. "Got it memorized?"

Ashley rolled his eyes. "Are you going to spam catchphrases and memes every night?"

"Duh!" Drake smirked. "Now Axel is a Keyblade-wielder. Though we only got some snippets of how he fights with it."

"Well, it is obvious that his affinity for fire hasn't faltered." Ashley reminded. "Also, he could throw his Keyblade just like Strike Raid and turned them into his chakrams back when he was in the Organization XIII."

"...So at least as he has a chance to recharge MP, he could be considered broken?" Drake asked. "I heard that fire magic is broken is 3."

Ashley paused. "That is true. Not helping is again, his affinity with fire. He will be a major threat until he faces someone who knows how to deal with fire could face him."

CLAYFACE

NODE: DC COMICS/BATMAN

Ashley blinked twice. "Um, since how is Clayface a thespian?"

"...Ah. So he, King Shark and Dr. Psycho's appearance are based on that latest Harley Quinn cartoon." Drake noted.

Ashley turned to Drake with wide eyes. "Isn't that just Family Guy with a DC coating?"

The vampire frowned. "Hey, low blow! You don't have to like it, but I don't think it sunk that low."

Ashley rolled his eyes. "Fair enough… Wally, Catherine, you want to do this?"

The camera focused on a grinning Wally. "Do I EVER? Where do you even begin with Batman?"

"Indeed. It is one of the most well-known superheroes in DC, nay, comic book history!" Catherine nodded. "Arguably even more than the face of DC himself, Superman."

"We all know the deal. Bruce Wayne was a rich, happy young man who is the son of the owner of Bruce Enterprises!" Wally grinned.

"Yeah, but too bad his father was so busy putting his smarts into business, that he didn't have any common sense…" Catherine muttered.

Wally glared at Catherine. "Cat…"

"Aw, come on, Wally! The guy is one of the most important people in Gotham and he went into a place called "CRIME Alley" alone with his wife and young son!?" The young woman retorted. "What did he think was going to happen!?"

"Aye… This backstory was clearly done in the simpler times where people don't think as much." Wally said. "But anyway, this traumatic event is what made him want ta grow up to be the Batman. A more darker and edgier hero who takes down bad guys with his intelligence, martial arts and his assortment of gadgets."

"You would think that he would be another male power fantasy while he IS in some incarnations." Catherine said before coughing. "Frank Miller… But no, Batman HATES guns and murder."

"And while he is edgy, everyone else is full of energy. Like his sidekicks and even his rogue's gallery!" Wally grinned. "There, we have some major staples like the Penguin, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze and of course, the Joker and Harley Quinn."

"Yeahhhhh, about her." Catherine frowned. "Do we HAVE to cover the Harley Quinn cartoon?"

"Cat… Sure, if the main cast of the show is here, we HAVE to talk about it." Wally scolded.

The pink-clad woman groaned. "Fine… Batman, being as big as it is, got a few spin-offs. And Harley Quinn got one."

"Basically, it is a mature cartoon where she recruits a bunch of misfits to form her own team and become the new kingpin of Gotham." Wally explained. "It should be noted that is based on Harley FINALLY breaking up with the Joker."

"Well, that is a point in the right direction for this show…" Catherine muttered.

"The show is clearly a black comedy at how these guys get into crimes and have people killed in the process." Wally explained.

"While relying on shock value!" Catherine spat.

"Hey, hey, HEY!" Wally scolded. "Maybe it has potential. Besides, I genuinely see EFFORT at heart here."

"...I mean it is kinda cool that Harley Quinn learned to get out of a bad relationship and find some friends on her own." Catherine mused. "Except for Dr. Psycho. He could just rot."

Wally chuckled at this. "Don't worry, Sheila. Most people would think that too. Back to you, Drake."

The camera went back to Drake. "Alright, thanks."

"Now about Clayface…" Ashley mused.

"Well, he could stretch his limbs and being out of clay he is very durable." Drake explained. "Also, he is a shapeshifter."

"A shapeshifter? Oh, he could be a sneaky fighter." Ashley mused.

"Yeah, he would be if he wasn't such an over-the-top actor." Drake muttered. "So people won't be fooled that easily."

Ashley's face fell. "He is doomed, isn't he?"

"Not really…? I mean sure he may be a blowhard, but like I said, he is durable and people may underestimate him, giving him a chance to eliminate them." Drake shrugged.

SIGMA

NODE: MEGAMAN/MEGAMAN X

BIG GUY ALERT!

"And here we have the main villain of Megaman X!" Drake grinned.

"For nearly every game." Ashley muttered. "Seriously, how many fake-outs do we have to go before Capcom just said "Right, let's just have Sigma go the Bowser route. No surprises."

Drake raised an eyebrow. "Huh. Why did YOU start to be the snarky one?"

"Just saying." Ashley shrugged. "Wally, Catherine, to you."

The camera went to Wally. "Alright! The X series is obviously based off of the Megaman Classic series, but more Darker and Edgier."

"Yeah, the series takes place in the near future. The titular character, X was created by Dr. Light thinks and feels on his own and puts in a capsule to see if his theory would work in thirty years' time." Catherine explained.

"But the person who discovered him was Dr. Cain, an archaeologist and a scientist, decided ta was so inspired by X that he created various robots called Reploids." Wally said.

Catherine rolled her eyes. "Typical archeologist. Acting all smart and yet messing with things they don't know. Some of the Reploids turned mad and violent!"

"Aye, those are called Mavericks. So now a bunch of Reploids that DIDN'T gets infected formed a group called Maverick Hunters." Wally explained.

"Only THAT plan backfired too." Catherine scolded. "The leader of the Maverick Hunters, SIGMA became the Big Bad of the series!"

"Aye… But at the same time, he turned Zero good in the process." Wally explained. "As for gameplay, it follows a similar structure to the classic game. Go through eight different stages with their own unique boss. However, with extra kick like air-dashing and wall jumping!"

"It spawned eight games, a spin-off series starring Zero and even an RPG." Catherine explained. "The series has been quite popular… Even though it is clear that ZERO is the star."

Wally chuckled nervously. "Okay, so maybe Zero got into more crossovers than X."

"Oh, really? Marvel VS Capcom 3, Tatsunoko VS Capcom, SNK VS Capcom Chaos?" Catherine asked.

"I mean he has been given love in Marvel VS Capcom Infinite?" Wally asked.

Catherine raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, but is that really a compliment?"

Wally shook his head. "Back to you."

The camera went back to Drake chuckling nervously. "Thanks, man."

"Okay, so how does Sigma fight?" Ashley asked.

"That is the problem. The guy has so many fights in the series that it is hard to say." Drake frowned. "Hell, not even his MAIN WEAPON is consistent."

"So in other words, he could be like Mr. Game & Watch with an unpredictable nature only for… Subdued?" Ashley asked.

Drake paused before smirking. "Huh… Yeah, that could make sense. That depends on if he will use ALL of his powers and weapons."

BLUE BAYOU

NODE: TOKYO MEW MEW

Drake and Ashley paused before looking at each other.

"...Who?" Drake asked.

The camera then went to Wally and Catherine, who were just as confused. They then noticed the camera was on them as they jumped.

"Why are you looking at US!?" Catherine roared, angrily.

"Um, because you are the RESEARCH team?" Drake shouted back from off-screen.

"Aye, the NODE research team!" Wally shot back.

"But you also do sub-nodes and they are from a sub-node!" Ashley reminded.

"Oh, right, pile all the work on us." Catherine snapped. "Give us a break!"

Wally just sighed before the two started to research.

"Okay, they are the manga, Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode." Catherine noted.

Wally looked up. "Isn't that the ending theme of the anime?"

"Nope. That is the name of the manga." Catherine said. "Apparently, it acts as a sequel where Ichigo and her boyfriend, Aoyama, go to English to study endangered species. However, a new group of villains had started to use the remaining Chimeras to run havoc so the Mew Mews must save the day with the help of their new leader, Berry Shirayuki."

"New LEADER?" Wally asked in disbelief. He then paused. "Well, this is a promising start."

"Yeah, and it gets worse. Apparently, she has the DNA of not one, but TWO animals?" Catherine asked. "This already started to sound like a bad fanfiction!"

"Let's move on to the Saint Blue Crusaders before we lose our sanity." Wally muttered. "Apparently, there are a group of pretty-boys who besides Duke have rough childhoods and were shunned by their family being forced to live at a boarding school,"

"Apparently, their goal is to reshape this "boring, grown-up" world with their "intelligence, philanthropy and elegance"." Catherine mused. "They also disguise themselves as teachers at Berry's school."

"Uh-huh, uh-huh. And how about Blue Bayou himself?" Drake asked from off-screen.

Wally frowned. "Um, apparently he has super-strength and he is rarely apart from Sweet Juliet. And… That's it."

"Even the TVTropes page stated that he was a Flat Character." Catherine nodded. "So yeah, that is all you are getting from us."

The camera then went back to Drake and Ashley.

"...Welp. This is awkward." Drake said.

"...How do we even know if he is going to do well if we don't even know THAT much about him?" Ashley asked.

"Element of surprise?" Drake asked.

The two then shared an awkward silence. Then, a siren went off.

"MYSTERY FIGHTER TIME!" Drake shouted at the top of his lungs.

KAGOME HIGURASHI

NODE: INUYASHA

"Hey, look, I doubt that the Tokyo Mew Mew cast would be the only anime fighters, but still I am stunned to see one so soon."." Drake noted.

"Same. And from an anime that I admittedly haven't heard from for years now." Ashley said, adjusting his glasses. "Guys?"

The camera then went back to a relieved Wally. "Oh, thank god! Now Inuyasha is a manga turned anime."

"It is about this seemingly-ordinary girl named Kagome who has the power to enter a well that will go into a fantasy Feudal Japan." Catherine explained. "At first, this sounds cool, but there are youkais, goblins and all sorts of supernatural stuff around."

"She meets Inuyasha, a gruff and rude half-human, half-dog demon. And…" Wally said before sighing. "Okay, let's meet around the bush. Their relationship is basically "Slap Slap Kiss".

"Not helping is that there is a collar around Inuyasha's neck and if Kagome says "Sit", it forcibly and painfully brings Inuyasha to the ground." Catherine winced. "And Kagome is actually the reincarnation of his dead lover who killed him. Yeahhhhh… Oof."

"Anyway, when not getting into wacky romantic comedy hijinks, the anime has a basic premise of a Monster of the Week where Inuyasha and Kagome, along with their friends fight off against various powers and get pieces of the Jewel of the Four Souls." Wally explained. "Though it DOES have its own mini-arcs."

"Random fact: But it was a rare classic anime where all of the humans have natural colours." Catherine said. "AND have a fantasy-based setting NOT be in an Medieval world."

"The anime became a cult classic and was talked about in the old days." Wally explained.

"Maybe if it overstayed its welcome unlike other anime, it would be talked about more." Catherine muttered.

"Cat…" Wally groaned. "Anyway, back to you."

The camera then back to Ashley. "Thank you, guys."

Drake puts his finger on his chin in thought. "Okay, I KNOW Kagome is an archer."

"Also, I remember her being a Miko so she should be able to use holy powers as well." Ashley agreed.

"So basically she is a white mage of fantasy Feudal Japan?" Drake asked.

"Indeed. She may be more defensive, but as long as she keep her distance, she should do well." Ashley nodded.

PARASOUL

NODE: SKULLGIRLS

"Huh. Nice parasol." Ashley noted.

"Actually, it is more than a parasol." Drake warned. "It is a living weapon with eyes."

Ashley jumped at this. "Wait, what!?"

"Don't look so surprised. You already know that the Skullgirls cast is weird!" Drake scolded.

"True…" Ashley sighed. "So what is Parasoul's story?"

"Well, despite being a princess, she is from a fairytale one." Drake warned. "Not only does she prefer to be proactive, she is the leader of the Black Egrets which she sometimes summons to help her out in battle."

"Ah." Ashley said before frowning. "But obviously she can't do that here."

"Nope, she is a skilled warrior and could send out floating bombs with her parasol called Krieg." Drake explained. "She also has a pistol."

"Ah, she is a zoner." Ashley mused. He then shuddered. "Though I don't think Krieg would hurt immensely if used as a bludgeon."

ISAAC CLARKE

NODE: PLAYSTATION ALL-STARS BATTLE ROYALE/DEAD SPACE

"Woah… He looks intimidating." Ashley gulped.

"Hey, don't worry. He may seem intimidating in all of that armor, but he is a guy just trying to survive." Drake reassured.

Ashley's eyes widened at this. "No lie?"

"No lie. I think I will let Wally and Catherine explain this."

The camera went to a nodding Wally. "Dead Space is a sci-fi horror third-person shooter game."

"The game takes place in the far future where people could use telekinesis and people have colonized space." Catherine said. "The main protagonist, Isaa Clarke, a simple engineer who went on a mining ship showed a ragtag team of specialists to investigate it."

"However, things get eerie when they find no one around. THEN, things got worse when the Necromorphs attacked! A bunch of space zombies!" Wally smirked.

"Isaac gets separated from the thing and he has to find a way to survive while finding out what the hell just happened." Catherine explained.

"Like Cat said earlier, Isaac is not your typical shooter protagonist. He is just an engineer who went there to fix stuff." Wally agreed. "In fact, the weapons you wield are traditional weapons."

"That's right. They are modified tools. Like his starting weapon, the Plasma Cutter is used more for cutting through metal." Catherine explained. "Isaac is more of an every man. Even though his skills get noticed in each game."

"Also, it is just slicing up space monsters. Ya also have ta do puzzles with your telekinesis." Wally agreed. "This had spawned a trilogy where he started ta talk in the second game."

The camera went back to Drake. "Thanks, guys."

"I must admit. Hearing that he is more of an Everyman makes me feel at ease looking at him." Ashley agreed. "So what kind of weapons does he have?"

"A lot of modified tools for decapitating limbs." Drake said, matter-of-factly.

Ashley's face fell. "R-Right. But he won't actually do that, would he."

"I WANT to say though, but his time in the three games have made him on edge." Drake frowned.

"I guess… Well, I wish the best of luck to him. And not just in terms of the tournament." Ashley said.

"Indeed, he got the skills, he got the experience, he even got the telekinesis." Drake agreed. "He just needs to tell himself that this is not life or death."

XEHANORT

NODE: KINGDOM HEARTS

BIG GUY ALERT!

"Oh? The main villain is showing up THIS soon? What a shock." Drake noted.

"Kinda? What he does in the arena has no bearing on the main plot." Ashley shrugged.

"I would agree with you…" Drake said before frowning. "But Kurow, the one behind the kidnapping and hypnotising plot in the first Battle of the Luminaries made it to the FINAL TEN and never fought outside of it!"

Ashley just sighed. "Anyway, despite looking quite frail, Xehanort is actually a formidable swordsman or rather Keyblade master."

"Yeah, and I think you already know this, but his magic is top-notch too, using the top-tier of the three basic elemental spells." Drake agreed.

"Not only that, but he could use ALL of the Organization's weapons and have some quick and deadly moves." Ashley noted.

"Not only that, but he is like a cockroach. Just when you think you are safe from him, he finds a way to surprise you." Drake added.

Ashley paused before crossing his arms. "...Okay, I know what you are trying to say, but that sounds like more of a story thing."

"...Still, I am NOT letting my guard down around him. Especially seeing HE is the Big Bad of this tournament." Drake agreed.

Ashley rolled his eyes.

HAWKGIRL

NODE: DC COMICS/THE FLASH

Ashley blinked twice. "Um, I am all for female representation, but why her and not HawkMAN?"

"Come on, man! Think! And what is it that Hawkgirl has that Hawkman DOESN'T!" Drake scolded.

Ashley paused to think for a moment. His eyes then lit up.

"Oh, you mean… The original Justice League cartoon?" Ashley exclaimed.

"That's right. I checked!" Drake grinned. "All seven founding members are there!"

"Even Green Lantern as John Stewart?" Ashley asked.

"We have to wait and see." Drake shrugged. "But for now, Wally, Catherine, you are up!"

The camera turned to a confused Catherine. "So wait… Hawkgirl debuted in a FLASH comic?"

"Kinda? Shiera Sanders Hall DEBUTED in a Flash comic." Wally shrugged. "And so did her spear counterpart."

Catherine blinked twice. "Comic books are weird. Anyway, the Flash is about a guy who could run very fast."

Wally glared at Catherine. "Oi! The Flash is much more than that!"

"What do you want me to say, Wally?" The human woman scoffed with a shrug. "At least with Superman, he had a hard past. The Flash, whether it was Jay Garrick or Wally West was just some guy who got the ability to go really fast!"

The boxer was about to say something before sighing. "Aye, fair."

Catherine jumped at this. "Wait, really? You are just giving up the ghost."

"Yeah, compared to Superman and Batman, the Flash is just zany fun." Wally admitted. He then raised his eyes. "But is that a bad thing?"

Catherine paused before shrugging. "I mean, I've seen more mindless things…"

Wally chuckled at this. "Exactly. And why super-speed may be a simple power. If gave the right situation, you could do amazing things!"

"I guess… But we could leave that to Drake and Ashley when we actually get to the Flash." Catherine said, waving it off. "Let's actually get to Hawkman!"

"Oh, right!" Wally realized before stifling a cough. "Ya see, Carter Hall and Shiera Sanders were actually an Egptian prince and his consort who were killed by an evil priest."

"They were then reincarnated, along with the priest. At first, they had NO memories of their past." Catherine explained. "HOWEVER, they did and the priest, now a scientist, tried to finish the deed. Again. However, using a special metal to create a gravity-defying belt, he don wings and won."

"Sorry if we are rushing it, but we have to keep it short and sweet because of how lengthy it is." Wally apologized.

The camera then turned back to Drake. "No, you are more than alright."

"As for Hawkgirl, she is the heavy-hitter of the group, using her mace to smack her opponents while flying on her wings." Ashley explained.

"Her mace could also deflect magic which makes her a huge threat for mages." Drake nodded.

"Her main flaw is that she is more of a close-range fighter and while she could easily dodge or deflect projectiles, she still has to come in close and personal." Ashley frowned.

Drake smirked as he crossed his arms. "Yeah, but knowing Hawkgirl, she doesn't mind. In fact, she is all for it!"

GEESE HOWARD

NODE: KING OF FIGHTERS/FATAL FURY

"All these villains and Geese too?" Drake asked before smirking. "This section is SO going to be UNPREDICTABO!"

Ashley rolled his eyes. "You couldn't resist, could you?"

"Um, no, Geese is without a doubt one of the most iconic SNK characters of all time." Drake corrected.

Ashley raised an eyebrow. "I thought it was because of his cheapness."

"If it was JUST that more people like Magaki and Verse would have a bigger fanbase." Drake corrected.

"Fair enough." Ashley said, rolling his eyes.

"But speaking of cheapness, he is known for his Reppuken and of course, his super, the Raging Storm, but Geese is also a master of countering." Drake explained.

"Yeah, but what does he do against projectile users?" Ashley asked.

"Oh, don't underestimate the Reppuken!" Drake scolded. "It may travel low to the ground, but it is large and could easily clash other projectiles."

"Uh-huh. And not only has he got experience with other crossovers, but he has been given a lot of training with his appearance in Tekken 7, right?" Ashley asked.

"RIGHT!" Drake grinned. "He may be a villain but with his work he has seen over the years. This will be TOO EASY!"

Ashley groaned.

JIGGLYPUFF

NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS/POKEMON

Ashley raised an eyebrow. "THREE Pokemon entering the same section this early?"

"Might be the luck of the draw." Drake shrugged. "Anyway, I considered Jigglypuff the original WTF character."

Ashley looked at Drake. "Even more so than Ness which the advertising for the game is literally that "It Stinks"?"

The mayor paused at this. "Okay, fair enough. But let's face it. Jigglypuff was mostly put it because there already had a model in Kirby and it would be easier to implement."

"So how come she keeps getting back into every Smash game?" Ashley asked.

"Seniority?" Drake shrugged. He then sighed. "Okay, no more complaining. Jigglypuff deserves a decent run-down."

"Um, right. First off, Jigglypuff is officially the Fairy-type so she is strong against darkness, dragons and… Heh, fighting!" Ashley noted.

"Yeah, but she doesn't have a single Fairy-type move to her name!" Drake frowned.

"Oh, well, what DOES she have?" Ashley asked.

"More quirky moves. Aerial movement AND combat, a song that could put anyone to sleep and of course, her signature Rest move." Drake said. "The bane of Giga Bowser in Melee."

Ashley blinked twice. "I still don't get why Sakurai made Jigglypuff's Rest a One-Inch Punch move."

"Hey! I never really thought about it!" Drake laughed. "Jigglypuff is more badass than I remembered!"

SYLVIE PAULA PAULA

NODE: KING OF FIGHTERS XIV

Drake and Ashley paused.

"...Her appearance is an attack on my senses." Ashley muttered.

"...Well, what do you expect from a character based on Kyary Pamyu Pamyu?" Drake pointed out.

Ashley let out a deep sigh. "Welp… Even King of Fighters have its joke characters."

"You would think so, but would you believe that this girl was a member of NESTS?" Drake asked.

Ashley's eyes widened at this. "No lie?"

"No lie. And according to SNK Heroines, she has been put through hell during experiments." Drake smirked.

"...You are reaching for lore from SNK Heroines, a blatant Dead-or-Alive-Volleyball-esque game." Ashley muttered.

"...SNK Heroines is canon." Drake muttered.

"...What?"

Drake just lets out a deep sigh. "Let's just move on to Sylvie before we lose our minds. Sylvie is an electromancer, not unlike Benimaru."

Ashley raised an eyebrow. "But…"

"But her electricity is used differently. She could use it as a high jump or to "fly across the ground" using it." Drake corrected. "Also, she doesn't have any projectiles, even though she could send it out in bursts. Though her ultimate move is a giant ball of electricity."

"Woah… She could be a big threat." Ashley mused.

"Especially since everyone and their grandma would underestimate her at first glance." Drake muttered.

BYLETH

NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS/FIRE EMBLEM FATES

"Hey, look, it is everyone's favourite DLC fighter!" Drake grinned.

Ashley glared at Drake. "Drake!

"Sorry, sorry, couldn't resist!" The vampire grinned.

"The poor man, um, woman, teacher has gotten enough of that by the fandom!" Ashley scolded.

"Actually, the Byleth here seems to be undeniably male." Drake mused, rubbing his chin. "But anyway, it is time to go to Wally and Catherine."

The camera went on to Wally. "Ta, mate! Now we will first cover the actual series and then go on to Byleth's game."

"Right. As you may know now by its popularity and the fact that there is at least one new character in every game." Catherine pointed out.

"Catherine!" Wally scolded.

"What? You like memes, don't you? It is basically a meme at this point." Catherine corrected. "In all honesty, it didn't always start that way, being a Japan-exclusive game."

"Overseas never even heard of this franchise until Marth and Roy, the latter being from an UNLEASHED game at the time, made it into Super Smash Bros Melee." Wally scolded.

"And because they were anime pretty-boys, they were popular. So popular that The Blazing Blade was released overseas." Catherine said.

"The game is like Final Fantasy, where they are SOME similarities, but the story and setting is always different." Wally explained. "Like always being sent in Fantasy Medieval, breakable weapons, a HUGE army and of course, if one of yer units dies, they REMAIN dead."

"Until they made Fire Emblem more casual." Catherine piped up.

Wally rolled his eyes. "Anyway, Fire Emblem Fates is the latest game in the series."

"It has introduced a lot of welcome and interesting stuff in that game. Like the protagonist, Byleth has been selected as three different classes to teach. The Black Eagles, the Blue Lions or the Golden Deer." Catherine explained.

Wally blinked his eyes. "But the Black Eagles wear RED."

"Yeah, I don't get it either." Catherine shrugged. "So you will go around, teaching the students and even the staff various skills. Granted, some are more efficient in certain fields, you can customise your characters whenever you want!"

"Also, ya get a hub in terms of the Garreg Mach Monastery. He could do all types of stuff. Like fishing, harvesting and giving flowers to yer students." Wally explained.

"He is not exaggerating. You HAVE to do this to get the students you want." Catherine said before rolling her eyes. "Except for Sylvain if you are female."

"Byleth gets a lot of flak and while Ah DO understand where the negativity is coming from, it actually makes sense that he is in the game." Wally frowned with his ears drooping. "Three Houses has done really well and is arguably one of the best in terms of storylines."

The camera went back to Drake. "Well said, Wally."

"Anyway, Byleth may be just another "Fire Emblem sword-fighter", but at least his sword is a WHIP sword." Ashley explained.

"Also, not only does he have that, but he also has an axe, spear AND a bow." Drake grinned. "All of them are the signature weapons of the main heads of the three houses."

"And that makes sense because he is a teacher who could teach other people to learn those skills, but also learn said skills from the staff." Ashley nodded.

"He may be new to the gaming world, but he has taken the world by storm." Drake grinned. He then paused. "Granted, in a mixed way, but that's done is done."

MAXIMA

NODE: KING OF FIGHTERS XIV

"And here we have the 449-pound of cybernetic muscle!" Drake grinned.

"And I noticed that he actually looked even MORE of a cyborg than the last time since we went over him at the third Megamix Tournament." Ashley mused.

"I know, right? Some of the new outfits the characters got are slick!" Drake smirked.

Ashley adjusted his glasses. "So basically, Maxima's fighting style is literally throwing his weight around?"

"Yeah, and while his attacks are slow, he has feet propulsors to dash at a decent rate." Drake explained. "Also, he could weaponize the steam that comes out of his gauntlets and who could forget his chest blaster."

Ashley shuddered. "I would hate to get hit by an attack by him."

"Definitely. He is a heavyweight in every sense of the word." Drake said, sternly. "While literally getting him out of the ring isn't impossible, it is definitely going to be hard."

METAKNIGHT

NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS/KIRBY

"Ah, yes. Who could even forget the scourge of Brawl himself?" Drake asked.

"I know that size doesn't matter, but I am still stunned that someone so cute could be such a serious and deadly warrior." Ashley said in awe.

"Or at least when the Kirby universe lets him be serious and deadly." Drake chuckled.

"So even though he is not as broken as in Brawl, he is still a formidable fighter in his own right." Ashley mused. "He attacks quickly and while his attacks aren't insanely strong, his swift attack rate might as well make you feel like you're getting hit by a truck. One piece at a time."

"Ooh, nice analogy!" Drake grinned. "Also, because he has wings, he is a skilled aerial fighter. Also, he is obviously good at getting back into the ring if he is thrown out."

"He may be tough, but his opponents have to hit him once and then assault him, not giving him a chance to counter." Ashley instructed.

"Easier said than done, of course." Drake chuckled.

LEONA

NODE: KING OF FIGHTERS XIV

Ashley blinked twice. "All three members of the Ikari Warriors have draws so close to each other?"

"I mean Heidern and Whip still have to enter, but otherwise yes." Drake shrugged. "It is very rare for a "mainstream" team to have all three fighters so close to each other."

"Also, why isn't Ikari Warrior showing up for her sub-node?" Ashley asked.

"Because she was created in King of Fighters first." Drake explained. He then paused. "Then again, rumours have it that SHE is the little girl Ralf and Clark have to rescue in the first Ikari Warriors."

"Ah." Ashley said before adjusting glasses. "Speaking of his teammates, compared to the two of them, Leona definitely looks more serious."

"Oh, she is. She is without a doubt the most deadly Ikari Warrior, topped only by her adopted father, Heidern himself." Drake explained. "She could use his own hands as knives."

"Goodness!" Ashley gasped. "How did she manage to do THAT?"

"Well, aside from her training with Heidern, she has Orochi blood in her blood." Drake pointed out. "Also, her earrings are explosive."

Ashley jumped at this. "Who wears LIVE jewelry!?"

Drake smirked. "A prepared one. She treats every battle as if it is life and death and while she won't kill her opponents, she will definitely send them limping."

SAMUS ARAN

NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS/METROID

"And here we have gaming's first female playable character!" Ashley smiled.

"Second." Drake piped up.

Ashley turned to Drake confused. "Come again?"

"I checked. Turns out that Toby "Kissy" Masuyo from Baraduke was the first female character." Drake corrected.

Ashley tilted his head to the side. "Who?"

"...I will tell you later, but now. Let's focus on Metroid." Drake sighed.

The camera then focused on a grinning Wally. "Ta, mate! The platform is another one of Nintendo's many platformers, however, with a twist!"

"The layout is like Castlevania where you go through a large maze while going through various paths. The main difference is that you can't advance until you get particular weapons." Catherine said.

"The story stars a badass space bounty hunter called Samus Aran who is tasked with hunting down various space monsters, especially Metroids." Wally explained. "No seriously, this guy had been shooting down monsters left and right and at then end, they will escape in their airship for the planet to literally blow up."

"And while everyone and their grandma knows this, but Samus is actually a woman!" Catherine grinned. "Sure, she wasn't the first example, but she is definitely the most prominent!"

"The Sheila had a rough childhood when her parents were killed by the space dragon, Ridley aka "Too Big"." Wally frowned. He then brightened up. "But that rarely stopped her."

"The game had spawned several games. Including the spin-off Metroid Prime which switched by the formula and yet still made it feel like Metroid." Catherine explained. She then sighed. "And also Other M…"

"We do NOT talk about Other M!" Wally roared.

Catherine paused. "...But her suit from Other M is featured in Super Smash Bros."

Wally winced. "S-So. It is just a suit."

"Tell that to the haters…" Catherine muttered before shaking her head. "But yeah, the Metroid series had a few hiccups, but it DID get Samus Returns and… There… Should be a fourth Metroid Prime."

"But it looks like it is going to Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 situation where it will keep getting delayed and delayed." Wally sighed. "Well, Samus is still one of the most badass women in video game history. And the most sexiest!"

Catherine grunted in disgust. "Wally, oh my god! Guys, back to you!"

The camera went back to Ashley, shaking his head. "Thanks, guys."

"Anyway, Samus has been raised and trained with Chozo so she is super-flexible. Even with her bulky armor." Drake explained. "She also got a lot of firepower like energy shots, missiles and bombs."

"There is also her Zero Suit Form where she is more flexible and jet boots and an energy whip." Ashley said. He then paused. "Um, can she turn into her Zero Suit Samus form?"

"She could if this was Brawl." Drake explained. "But then again, there is a reason why Power Suit Samus is just called Samus. It is more ironic."

"Fair enough. It is more suited for tournaments like these, anyway." Ashley shrugged.

ANTONOV

NODE: KING OF FIGHTERS XIV

BIG GUY ALERT!

"Ah! The founder of the latest King of Fighters tournament!" Drake grinned.

"Really?" Ashley asked, raising an eyebrow. "He doesn't LOOK like a villain."

"That's because he isn't!" Drake grinned. "He is genuinely a benevolent man!"

Ashley looked stunned at this. "Really?"

"Yeah, even though the KoF got hijacked by Verse was unrelated to him." Drake shrugged.

"So KoF is just an evil magnet, regardless of who is running it?" Ashley asked.

"Unfortunately, yes." Drake frowned. "Anyway, Antonov isn't as complex as other KoF sub-bosses. He is just a strong guy who could hit hard and relatively fast."

"Ah. Well, he wouldn't be the sub-boss if that is all he could do." Ashley noted.

"Right, his fighting style is unrefined, but he makes up for it with a barrage of punches, grapples and even flexing." Drake smirked. "He could slam the ground with his hands to trip enemies, not unlike Goro Daimon."

"Woah… He must really live up to his status as a champion." Ashley said in awe.

"Yeah, and he has to prove it here." Drake agreed.

STEVE

NODE: SUPER SMASH BROS/PIKMIN/CHUGGAACONROY

Drake and Ashley looked at the name, blinking twice. They then looked at each other.

Ashley then looked at Drake unimpressed. "Really?"

Drake held up his hands in defense. "That wasn't me!"

"Well, it wasn't Xero! There is no way he could find the time to hack the show!" Ashley snapped. "And I don't know anyone who would willingly…"

Suddenly, the two paused before looking to the side. The camera then focused on an unimpressed Wally and a sheepish Catherine, rubbing her hands together."

"...Xero looks cute when he was fanboying over Steve so..." Catherine piped up.

Then, footsteps could be heard.

"Ashley, where are you going? Last fighter or not, you can't just leave me hanging." Drake's voice could be heard. "Ash?"

Everyone was silent as Ashley could be heard exiting the stage and a door slamming could be heard. Catherine winced as Wally rolled his eyes.

"Okay, as long as we are here, how about this?" Wally piped up, getting Catherine's attention. "You will go solo on the Pikmin series while I will go solo on the Steve meme."

"Y-Yeah, good idea. Because if I wasn't for Xero, I would have never known of the Steve meme." The young woman said before stifling a cough. "Anyway, a Real-Time Strategist video game. However, not without a twist. It is based on the cancelled Super Mario 128, the late Shigeru Miyomoto's observations of insects at work, his love of Gardening and basic RTS gameplay."

She then took a deep breath, seeing that Wally is too busy doing his own research.

"You play as an astronaut named Olimar who crashed-landed on a strange world that is full of poisonous air and dangerous creatures. However, they also have these adorable creatures called Pikmin. Olimar seems to be able to control them and make them to help him."

She then scoffed.

"Personally, I think that is just another reason to enslave them."

"Catherine." Wally scolded, not keeping his eyes off of his work.

"Alright, alright… You could collect differently-coloured Pikmin. Each with their own role like Blue Pikmin can win and Purple Pikmin are heavy. Combined with Olimar's leadership, they set out to find the pieces of his spaceship and escape before the end of the day. The game had a trilogy with the third getting a remaster on the Switch. Not surprising because it is a Wii U Game."

She then looked at Wally.

"Okay, it is YOUR turn." Catherine said.

"Gladly." Wally nodded. "Now the meme, Steve has appeared in Chuggaaconroy's Let's Play of the first Pikmin game. For those who don't know, Chuggaaconroy is a Youtuber that is one third of the RunawayGuys."

He then took a deep breath.

"Basically, when Chugga has collected his first Pikmin. Which is, of course, a red one. Out of being funny, he called the Pikmin "Steve" and "they are not going to care about him." Basically, any Pikmin who is trailing behind is called a Steve."

Catherine slumped her arms. "...And Xero is OBSESSED with that?"

"Hold up, Cat. Then, while in a cave, Chugga has to find two Pikmin that have gotten separated from the group and has ta go save them before the day is over. At first, Chugga is laughing like "It must be Steve". And what was the red Pikmin trying ta do?"

"What?" Catherine asked.

"Trying to carry about a corpse of a Fiery Blowhog. And fer those who don't know. It is a giant fire-breathing hog." Wally muttered.

Catherine's eyes widened. "Get out."

"Ah won't! And apparently, nearly would Steve! Chugga was so impressed that he called a Steve Trooper." Wally smirked "Not too soon after the episode where the episode came up, someone has made a fanclub for Chugga and apparently had 400 followers."

"Wow…" Catherine said.

"Aye, needless ta say, Chugga felt like Frankenstein when he created a monster." Wally smirked.

"Yeah, memes end up like that." Catherine muttered. "Remember Bowsette?"

Wally grinned and was about to say something until Catherine clamped her hand over his mouth.

"Um, on second thought, let's go back to Drake." She said.

The camera went back to Drake. "Nice save, Cat. Anyway, Captain Olimar may not be a "traditional" fighter, but he is smart and resourceful to make up for it. Using the various Pikmin at his disposal. Red Pikmin are fiery and such could be used to exploit weaknesses or act as a shield. Same for Yellow Pikmin being electric. Blue Pikmin has no special abilities except not drowning, however, this is balanced by being the second most durable Pikmin and second strongest aerial attacks. Purple Pikmin are obviously the heavy-hitters of the group. White Pikmin are poisonous, nuff said. And last, but not least. Pink Pikmin that will fly Olimar out of danger. He may be easy to throw out of the arena, but they have to outsmart him."

He then sighed.

"Andddd having Steve with him doesn't hurt his chances either." The vampire muttered. He then brightened up. "Anyway, that is everyone! Now remember there are FORTY fighters instead of merely thirty. Also, Big, Marluxia, Sagat, F.A.N.G., Sigma, Xehanort, Geese and Antonov. So that means TWENTY-SEVEN people will be eliminated so you better choose wisely."

He then nodded his head.
