I know it's been a while but here's chapter 6. Got bigger plans for this story in future chapters!

Randall had forgotten how much time had gone by since the clan allowed him to stay at the castle. He now wondered if it could even be worth returning to Monstropolis when he was more accepted here than there.

He was simply sitting in the tv room. Bronx had come to sit down with him, tail wagging. Randall smiled a little at the gar beast.

"Hi, boy. Not doing much, really. The others are out on patrol and allowed me time to myself."

But then suddenly, memories began to rise up inside him. Randall saw flashbacks of himself in college being best friends with Wazowski. Tears came when he wondered why things turned out so badly. Was it Sullivan's fault? Or was it his own for joining ROR instead of helping Mike get past the Scare Games? He wasn't sure what to believe. Back then, he had always blamed Sullivan for getting in between their friendship. But now that he had the gargoyles for his friends, now he doubted his hatred to the blue fuzzball was even good at all.

Sighing, Randall eventually stood up to walk around. Perhaps Brooklyn was back from his patrol by now. He felt a bit sorry for Bronx who almost always couldn't join them.

He heard the soaring of wings and quickly raced to the balcony, a grin on his face upon seeing his friend's return. Randall never got tired of their entrances. Brooklyn spotted his friend.

"Hey, Rand. How did it go while you were gone?"

"Nothing much, just hung out. What about you?"

"It had been a bit quiet though we had a run in with Goliath's clone," Brooklyn growled. Randall tensed a bit.

"Clone?"

Goliath gave him a serious glance. "Dr. Sevarius had stolen my DNA and made an evil clone of me called Thailog. He is dangerous and cunning. I advise not to come across him. But we never told him about you."

Randall shivered at the idea of an evil Goliath but nodded his thanks. "Thanks, I really don't want too many of your enemies to know of me." Brooklyn put a hand on Randall's shoulder.

"I have something that we can do to be entertained. Have you ever heard of Disney?" Randall felt a bit confused at this, shaking his head.

Brooklyn smiled a little at his face. "That was me too when Elisa told us. They made all sorts of great movies; I can show you since we have a couple hours before sunrise."

"Alright," Randall said. "Usually at my old apartment, I never had many things to watch on tv." Brooklyn led his friend back to the tv room. "Trust me, you'll like them," he promised. The other gargoyles watched with smiles, happy to see Brooklyn and Randall have a good connection with each other.

Randall sat on the couch again while Brooklyn took out some VHS tapes Elisa gave them. He picked up some to show him; his favorite, Hercules, The Lion King, Mulan, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Snow White. The lizard eyed the Hunchback one with interest.

"I see gargoyles on the cover, Brooklyn. Perhaps we can have a look at this one?" Brooklyn put the others down and glanced at the cover. "Sure, this is my second favorite Disney film, hence the gargoyles. Though these don't have legs."

Randall scratched his head. "Ok, weird," he muttered as Brooklyn put in the tape and got the remote.

While the movie began, Broadway was even kind enough to bring out dinner and popcorn for the two friends and asked to watch the movie with them. Randall was in awe of the animation; especially on the cathedral itself. Brooklyn also told Randall about Goliath's Avalon Odyssey and that he encountered Thailog and Demona on Notre Dame. Now Randall hoped to never meet that clone more than ever.

The movie eventually finished, leaving Randall and Brooklyn walking out with the others to the balcony just as sunrise was about to emerge.

Randall was feeling happy after being able to watch a movie again, and something new for him too. He only wished he could tell the other monsters about this. But they'd never buy his sincerity and throw him in the slammer again.

"Uh, one more question, Brooklyn. How did Goliath go to that Avalon place?" Randall asked, still mystified about all these magical locations besides his world. Brooklyn shrugged. "All I know is that they met a man named Tom who was a young boy when we first met. Tom had them come on a magical skiff for an emergency which is how they met Angela. Still hope to meet a girl for me one day. I know she's out there somewhere." Brooklyn murmured, gazing out at the last couple stars.

Randall didn't know much on love but he smiled a little, watching his friend turn to stone for the day. "I'm sure you will, Brooklyn."

He ventured back inside, yawning, but couldn't help peeking into the nursery one more time, still praying he can soon win Fox's trust. Randall was still unaware that Owen was really a being of Avalon, Puck.

Randall also noticed the kitchen; getting rising memories of making his cupcakes. Looking at his friends, Randall decided that he could try to make them again for a thank you present from taking him in. Without his glasses however, it would be hard to see the ingredients.

Maybe I can ask Elisa if she knows a doctor who would be kind enough to give me a new pair, he thought for himself when entering his room and getting under the covers. Yeah, that's what he'll do.
