Sometimes Sakura loved mornings.

When she got up on time, was able to do all of her routines and get to the bridge with enough time to swoon and stare at Sasuke until Kakashi and Naruto came. When they started walking to go wherever they were supposed to, sometimes she saw a birds nest. With the mommy bird holding the curling brown worm in her beak feeding the cute little peeping baby birds. Whenever she pointed out the loving gesture though, Naruto would brush it off, shouting about something, while Sasuke would just ignore her, and Kakashi would look at her funny and almost tell her something. But the careful man the scarecrow is, he would just move along, just leaving Sakura to ponder over the unsaid words.

Sometimes Naruto liked mornings.

When Naruto woke up in the mornings, had the right flavor of ramen, and was able to get out the door on time, he was happy. He got to see Sakura-chan! But whenever he got there she was always staring at Sasuke. Stupid Uchihas. What did Sasuke have that he didn't? Whenever Sakura pointed out the birds nest, he would always shout "When I'm Hokage, I'll create a bird sanctuary just for you Sakura-chan!" But she never paid attention to his words, but when he finally did get that bird sanctuary up, he would help her move all the birds nests in their and maybe see her blushing face directed towards him.

Sometimes Kakashi just didn't like mornings.

The loud obnoxious birds chirping in the air, singing their merry tunes in a world that was full of death. It was misleading. How can people appreciate that? He remembered Sakura, she always looked happier when she saw a mother bird feeding the babies. But, what was he supposed to do? Tell her, 'No Sakura, don't mindlessly go under the cult that the little peeping things that want worms are trying to lure you in.'? No, he had to let her be naïve and innocent. She would get out of the cult soon enough.

Sometimes Sasuke hated mornings.

He was always early. After all, who would want to spend the mornings in a mansion where he heard the people of his clan scream when they were slaughtered by his maniac brother? He just played it cool whenever Sakura pointed out the nests, but really he hurt. His heart clenched, and he never knew how Sakura would be so oblivious to point out something about family in their team. Nobody had a family besides her. And yet Naruto would shout something that she would ignore to turn her attention to him. Stupid girl, would she never learn?

A/N Hey everybody, this is my first one-shot, and I was feeling wierd when I wrote it, so if it comes off strange, I think it's supposed to.
